Josef Cocktailbar

A small and cozy bar. The menu is very nice and humorously prepared. On the evening we visited, two young bartenders and a young woman were working. It was wonderful to be greeted and served by young and energetic people, congratulations. We tried two cocktails, I found La Muerta to be more successful. It's a spicy and smoky flavor.

Excellent cocktail bar with a relaxed, intimate vibe. Drinks are well-crafted and creative, and the bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. A great spot for quality cocktails in Vienna.

Best cocktail bar with literally Best bartender in Austria (national winner). They serve amazingly delicious and creative libations for locals and tourists alike. Loved the vibe. Stayed for the drinks. I usually don't drink while travelling so I opted for a mocktail tasting. The drinks were tasty and really enjoyed off menu mocktails by the master bartender himself. Had the best seat in the house being able to watch him craft the drinks all the while listening to his knowledge of his craft. Would highly recommend stopping in for a drink or two. Grab a friend, loved one or just go in solo for a relaxing fun time at the best bar in Vienna.

We were in the city center and checked out three bars — all of them were insanely loud and overcrowded. Then we walked into this place, and the very first thing I saw on the menu was a Naruto-themed cocktail. Instant love. Had some laughs, had some drinks. The bartenders are insanely smart and funny guys (plus the bartender has some seriously beautiful tattoos). The cocktails are very tasty and original. Solid 10/10. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time in Vienna, but having cocktails at the Josef Cocktailbar was definitely a highlight! In fact, we visited the Josef 3 of the 4 nights we were in Vienna because the drinks are that good! Really innovative list of cocktails, and all of them high quality. Definitely recommend visiting at least once!
