A very nice farm market with lots of variety. Local tomatoes, squash, peaches, watermelon and cantaloupe… So fresh and ripe, the wonderful fragrance filled my car! They also supply local meat and eggs, as well as other products like cornmeal .

I greatly enjoyed myI greatly enjoyed my time at Joseph Fields Farm! I came here to get some squash blossoms for my herbal teas that I make. I was very pleased to know that the produce here is organic! Hi

Fields Farms always has the freshest produce! Everything they put out is perfect quality and tastes even better than it looks! The owner takes the time to answer any questions. The best part is that it ends up being cheaper than the grocery store and lasts longer since everything is picked daily on the farm. I used to shop at Whole Foods but Fields is certified organic, so now I can shop local!

Stopped here with my husband today and we spend $12 and some change for an abundance of fresh veggies. All of the veggies looked beautiful! We got 1 bunch of collards, at least a pound and a half of green beans, 2 sweet potatoes, an onion, tomatoes, one of the biggest zucchini’s that I’ve ever seen and a ham hock. All of it looks amazing and I can’t wait to make dinner tonight. We would have spent more at the grocery! We will definitely be back!

Joseph Fields and his wife, Helen, are two of the most amazing people I've ever met. Their hearts are bigger than their harvest and their Harvest is awesome, Organic and beautiful. They are incredibly generous with their time and resources. Their produce store on Johns Island is the best.

Yelp
Lately it feels like there are less and less authentic farm stands in Charleston, but Fields Farm stands out for us personally. Located off the beaten path on River Road and set back from the oaks, is a true old school treasure to be discovered if you haven't been there already. With consistent hours, they're usually open whenever we pass by which is key if you're going to shop local. Our last visit focused on shopping for collard greens (which are grown right there), watermelon, yellow squash, plums and some spicy pickle spears which punch a kick of heat. Inside is well organized, clean, and prices are well labeled - so you plan your purchases accordingly. Throughout the year they have a changing variety of produce grown locally and some that is brought in to make it a decent spot to get more than just a thing or two. Devonne the manager was super helpful and we look forward to our next visit! Guten Appetit!

Yelp
We came for strawberry picking and found the field slightly tricky to maneuver because of the weeds (but the berries are organic so kinda what do you expect?) but full of nice deep red berries! They hardly had a hollow straw in the middle either! They're a bit expensive at over 5$ per lb to pick and sweat over yourself, but maybe something to keep in mind next time to come hungry and eat more than 1 taster. They also don't pre line the buckets with a bag and instead pour them into a paper bag later causing many bruises on my poor berries! I think Johns island has better options for u pick but it looked like the rest of their selection was pretty nice!

Yelp
Drove out to farm on John's island long drive from Mt Pleasant but interesting. Bought a selection of fruits an vegetables, yummy-licious! Found out later that they have a produce stand on the corner of Rifle-Range Rd and Six mile Rd. Staff at both locations are very helpful and ambience good for a produce stand.
