Such a great place to just jump in spontaneously, swim a few laps and just enjoy the scenery! It does require some specific clothing due to hygiene (which is obviously a good thing!) but they provide everything there for a few euros.

Josephine Baker Pool is a bit small but has everything you need plus a big terrace on the first floor. It’s in the open air next to the river which makes It special and adds to the experience of visiting Paris. Since I’m a swimmer I have been to many pools and I really liked this one. Especially since It’s so clean, the whole time we saw a staff member cleaning the changing rooms. I would definitely go back here when I’m visiting Paris.

We arrived 30 minutes after opening, only to be met with a 3-hour wait in the heat. There’s no online booking system, which makes crowd control chaotic. Priority is given to access users and those with children, which is understandable, but it meant many people who had waited a long time were constantly moved further back in the queue. Once inside, you’re required to wash your feet in a filthy communal pool — this is more unsanitary than helpful. A ticket or time-slot system would really help avoid these issues. Swimming hats are mandatory, but the two we purchased inside broke within 30 minutes — poor quality, especially given the price. And after all that waiting, the pool was so overcrowded we couldn’t even swim properly. Overall, it was a stressful and disappointing visit.

Great indoor pool with extended opening hours to swim laps in the Seine river. Nice and helpful staff. Warm showers (soap available), fair priced entrance fee (paid €3,50 per adult person in sept 2024). Relaxed atmosphere with locals!

I’ll surely miss this pool, highly recommended for anyone visiting Paris looking for a solid swim overlooking the Seine river. For my US friends reminder to wear tight fitting swim wear e.g jammers. No loss fitting swim shorts are allowed. Also, carry 1 euro for locker use.

What a nice find! For 3.40€ you gain enterance to this clean pool on a boat, on the Seine! Already starting off strong. Facilities are clean, with plenty of lockers (you drop a euro in to get the key and get your euro back once you return the key), showers, and changing rooms. The lower deck has a 4 lane swimming pool. The two outer lanes seem to be for slow swimmers, waders, and teenagers who aren't too serious about laps (note: swim caps are mandatory for everyone in this pool, but can be purchased on site). There are boards, life jackets, and other swim "tools" free to use. Past the main pool is a kiddie pool for hanging out, lounging and kids and families (swim caps not needed). Upstairs is the hang out zone, with lots of chairs to sun bathe and rest (note: you can bring your food and eat it here, which I'd highly recommend. It's a great picnic spot!). I spent 4 hours here today and enjoyed it very much! Will definitely be back! :)

The pool has an a isolated y amazing view of the Seine river. It’s my favorite pool in summer where you can tan and swim. The ticket is not expensive at all especially for kids and students. Even though the pool is small and may get crowded sometimes, it’s a lovely place over all!

Google
Great outdoor swimming pool on Seine river. It has four lanes with depth going from 1.2 meters in one end to 2 meters in another. Changing room is spacious, plenty of lockers (have 1 euro coin to use it), showers. This place asks to book a time online and charges 6.50€ for 2 hours. You also must wear a cap while swimming and swim in proper swimming gear, not loose shorts. The facility has an upper floor terrace that has a nice view of Seine and many sunbeds for sunbathing and relaxation.

Yelp
This is not your everyday pool. But then it´s also not exactly cheap. I think 5€ for 2 hours (in Summer and the September weekends) , is too much money for what is offered. But let me start with the good stuff. The sun-deck is great - when it´s not too crowded. And the experience of swimming "on the river", looking out at the boats and stuff, that is great too. But then, you won´t be actually swimming much. You´ll be on the sundeck, occasionally popping into the pool and returning to the sundeck. This is the sort of experience this was build for. The (main) pool is tiny (25x10m), and when it´s warm outside and the Piscine is full of people - it´s more of a "standing pool" in there. It´s also nice that the water is not full of chlorine that your eyes hurt - but on the other hand it would also be nice not seeing the floor of the pool partially covered in algue. All in all, my biggest issue is the price in Summer. But that is exactly the time of the year you would want to visit this piscine and not one of the others.

Yelp
Nice concept but small and shallow pool. Poorly adapted for those who really want to swim.

Yelp
This pool was dirty, overpriced and super crowded. Dont go unless you have no other option.
