The diner itself is not going to shine for its decor or its vibe - go somewhere else if you need nice environs to look at while you eat. If you're in the mood for great, home cooked style food, this is the place. We had okra cooked down into almost a gravy smothered over rice, some kind of corn, my wife had fried catfish and I had fried alligator gar. I was floored at how good the gar was. Would definitely go again next time I'm in the area.
