3 places to go in Singapore to experience Deepavali - SilverKris

"A traditional shop along Serangoon Road selling fragrant jasmine garlands and other prayer items, where the pervasive floral aroma contributes to the area's characteristic sensory atmosphere." - Charlene Fang

Although a bit expensive, I respect their dedicated service to sell exotic products which usually cannot buy anywhere else easily in Singapore. E.g certain herbs, auspicious things, household items (pressure cooker, mixie ) repair services etc.

please call the day before to double confirm collection time especially for wedding flowers. they delivered the garlands to the temple on time but had issues for self collection of flowers for hair. staff told us it would be ready at 2pm, went at 3pm & was told to come back at 7pm. these arw wedding flowers, a 5 hour delay is unacceptable. did not offer a refund. i had to rush to far east flora to buy flowers instead. the garlands that were delivered were very nice and gorgeous but i wish they had better professionalism and reliability

Very nice shop .. All Indian cosmetic Ayurvedic preparation and herbal products are available here . Very nice quality of all products ... Herbal products for face ,hair, skin acne , flowers for prayers are all available .. All day opening shop on an usually timing ... In little India the location just take NE MRT up to little India station there to exit via E then walk straight towards left side after that cross the road at the green man logo.. in the left side of that flower street you can got the shop already .. This shop is usually not closed by 9pm. Last weekend I was there only at 9pm but the shop was open .😊

Best places for variety of products for worship as well as products from India. The team is also would repair pressure cookers & mixers on the spot based on availability.

Had a very bad experience today. The staff are really not bothered about their customers. Came to buy flowers that we ordered. They made us wait for more than 30 mins when the flowers were ready n lying on the counter. The staff were simply not bothered. Poor service.

This place is expensive . However the only reason I would suggest this place , as they most of the Indian cosmetic , India Pooja items . More importantly they have all the Indian cookery items 🙏😅. Like pressure cooker , blender . And they have a few variation to choose from . Idyapp kattai ,etc . But the only reason I go hear is to fix my pressure cooker and blender or buy stuff like this below . There are not many places in Singapore where they repair India pressure cooker blender , etc .

Yelp
Lovely little flower shop/retail store in the heart of Little India. It's located right next to the new Indian Heritage Centre, so you really can't miss it! Also, the entrance is full of floral garlands that hang from the ceiling, so it just makes you want to approach and see what else is there. However, the flowers sold aren't real. Once you get past the flowers up front, you enter the actual store. I saw a mix of pots, pans, toiletries and makeup, all Indian brands. I didn't see much merchandise that would appeal to tourists, but I do think it's still a nice shop to stop by, as the vibrant colours up front make for a nice photo opp!

Yelp
The flowers only make up a small section of what Jothi's sells. Think of Jothi's as providing whatever you need to set up an Indian household--plates and pots, accessories for the gods, health supplements, and more beauty products than you can shake a fist at. It's not Mustafa's by any means, but I like to drop in anyway, to pick up a bottle of Himalaya supplements or to try out a new mix-it-yourself hair mask.
