We had a great experience visiting the Angkor Wat temples with our guide Mr. Nang (Lucky). Mr Nang is very knowledgeable and has a good historical knowledge of the temples. He shared various Hindu and Buddhism stories depicted on the inside walls of the temples. We really enjoyed the tour with Mr Nang. The driver we had was also very helpful and courteous. He made sure everyone was hydrated and well looked after. Thank you Journey Cambodia, Mr Nang and the driver for a rememberable tour.

2.5 DAY ANGKOR TEMPLES & TONLE SAP WITH FLOODED FOREST Amazing tour our experience was enhanced experience by our knowledgeable tour guide, Bun, and our helpful driver Sambath The 2.5 days tour was exactly what we were looking for and delivered great value for money. Fabulous sunrise at Angkor Wat, with the best view, followed by a great choice of temples was perfect, the sunset in the rice field was the perfect end to a great day. Bun’s knowledge of the history of the temples and the Buddhist and Hindu religions was exceptional probably the best tour guide I’ve had from many. Nothing was too much trouble and he provided great insight in to the history of Cambodia. The 1/2 day tour of Tonle Sap and flooded forest was informative and provided an insightful view of lake life. Would definitely recommend Journey Cambodia with Bun and Sambath.

Journey Cambodia provided the best private tour of Angkor Wat and surrounding temples and Bun (our guide) and Sambath (our driver) were the perfect duo for the day! Booking with Journey Cambodia is a seamless process and their team are incredibly efficient and professional. Bun was the perfect tour guide - he had an endless wealth of knowledge and brought a calm and relaxing nature to our day, which made us feel very comfortable. Bun was so happy to speak about anything and everything, we loved spending time with him. Sambath was an amazing chauffeur - he always offered us water and cold towels every time we got back to the minivan, and was a true gentleman throughout the day. Bun also knows how to take a fantastic photos and knows all the best photo spots!

We booked the two-day sunset and sunrise small group tour. Although the clouds may have slightly spoiled the perfect view of the sunrise and sunset, that’s definitely not something that can ruin such an amazing trip as this visit to Angkor. Over the two days, we had the chance to see some of the most fascinating temples, enjoy the magical moment of dawn over Angkor Wat, and learn many interesting facts about the temples as well as Cambodia and its history. Our guide, Sak, is not just a guide, he’s also an excellent photographer who knows all the best spots for pictures. He always knew how to balance sharing information with giving us enough free time for independent exploration. He knows the temples like the back of his hand and there’s no question he can’t answer. He’s friendly, engaging, and open, and he truly made this experience as special as it could possibly be. Our driver, Vichet, was also an essential part of this trip. He always welcomed us with cold water, cool towels, and an air-conditioned bus, which felt like pure bliss after long walks in the heat. I’m really happy that Sak and Vichet were in charge of our group because they made this experience truly special and joyful. The small group was a perfect choice, as it gave us a chance to get to know all the members better, which also made the overall experience even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend Journey Cambodia this was an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Thank you for everything!

Our family of three did the sunrise tour on the last day of November. Sam was our tour guide and Sambath our driver. Sam has a good command of English and was so knowledgeable on the history and culture of Angkor and Cambodia. It was fascinating. He knew all the good spots for photos and on top of that was our photographer for the day, with a good eye for framing each shot. Whenever we got back to the car, Sambath had cold towels and water ready each time. They were both so polite and so helpful throughout the tour. I would highly recommend them both and also Journey Cambodia which made our booking and tour operation seamless. I suggest booking directly with Journey Cambodia which is a locally owned Cambodian tour operator rather than through the big overseas operators. The Cambodians are just beautiful people and dealing directly with them supports their business. I would love to return again one day. The people, the food and the land are amazing.

We booked a private tour as a family of three, including our 8-month-old infant, and were incredibly fortunate to have Mr. Setha as our guide and Mr. Dara as our driver. Mr. Setha impressed us not only with his extensive knowledge of the historic sites but also with his deep insights into Cambodian culture and rich history. He made the experience truly educational and enjoyable for the whole family. What stood out even more was that Mr. Setha is a true photography expert – he knew exactly the best angles, timings, and spots at every location to capture stunning shots, especially during golden hour. Thanks to him, we came home with incredible photos we’ll treasure forever. I can highly recommend him without hesitation. Mr. Dara was exceptionally friendly, patient, and attentive – especially towards our baby. He provided refreshing cold towels and chilled water at every stop, which made the hot days much more comfortable. Even though we booked the tour last minute, everything was perfectly organized. The absolute highlight was the breathtaking sunset experience on the first day, arranged in the beautiful rice fields outside the city – a magical moment we’ll never forget. My father and I took a private two day Angkor Wat and temple tour with Mr.Chhay. my dad was skeptical of the cost but it was well worth it. We had a air conditioned van which was great after walking in the sun around each temple. The driver made sure we had water at every stop and provided us with cold towels to help with the heat which was much appreciated. Mr.Chhay made sure we had the absolute best spot for the sunrise over Angkor Wat. He was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information without over doing it. He was very friendly and personable and cracked a few jokes. He also took some great photos for us! Everything was well organized and we constantly beat the worst of the crowds everywhere we went. Highly recommend.

We had an incredible time with our guide Chhay. We were lucky enough to experience a beautiful sunrise and sunset, and he explained everything perfectly. The temples were already stunning, but the stories he shared — both the historical ones and his own, more personal one — made the experience even more memorable. Chhay is funny, inspiring, and he allowed us to connect with Cambodia in a truly special way. He definitely contributed to our love for this country, and we are sincerely grateful for that.
