We just had the best time at the new attraction in Epcot! 🌼 the Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. The gentle sound of running water is so soothing—it's like a little slice of paradise! The beautiful flowers and winding paths really transport you into a magical world. We loved every moment and can’t recommend it enough! Definitely a 5-star experience! ⭐️✨

Moana is a big favorite for the whole family, especially the first part! We were very excited when we learned that this attraction was opening! It is very beautiful, and they paid special attention to the details! The kids can play with the water in clever ways! The only criticism could be that it feels a bit too small; it could have been a bit larger! The evening lighting is simply incredibly beautiful.

Google
A beautiful and refreshing experience! The entire place is charming, is beautiful and the interaction with the water makes everyone have fun! The children love going there and we feel part of the place. For me, the highlight is the structure of Te Fiti, it is perfect, so be sure to take a photo there.

Beautiful flourishing area of Epcot. It's beautifully sculpted. The water is nice. The area is crowded but it's great. The water is recirculating. I loved the walk through water that turns off when you walk through it. There is no wait to get in.

Google
The Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is an exceptionally pretty and relaxing area. They have a large number of water features with several detailed signs, explaining different aspects of water. There are also several exhibits where water is used to control music and allow guests to participate.

Beautiful wonder for any age. It's amazing to be here no matter how many times we visit. Especially after sunset. Must see place.

Google
ABSOLUTLY MUST DO . My son could have spend hours in here . Just make sure you either bring an extra set of clothing for the kids , or do it toward the end when it does not matter if they get wet . Is absolutely Beautifully done

Yelp
Everyone loves to talk trash about EPCOT projects, but let me set the record straight: Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is absolutely fantastic. This is one of those rare "walk-through attractions" that feels alive -- it's interactive, educational, gorgeous, and somehow manages to make you feel like both a kid again and a Disney Imagineering nerd all at once. You wander through lush pathways where water literally plays with you -- jumping arcs that follow your movements, fountains that respond to your touch, and streams that dance when you wave your hands. It's part science lesson, part art installation, part Disney magic trick. This isn't just a backdrop for selfies (though you'll take plenty), it's an experience that connects you to the natural world. And it's pure EPCOT -- remember, this park was built to inspire curiosity, imagination, and respect for the planet. Journey of Water nails that spirit better than anything they've added in years. Kids run around laughing as the fountains "chase" them, adults geek out over the engineering, and everyone leaves with wet hands and big smiles. The Moana theming is subtle but perfect. You'll see her, you'll hear her music, but it never overwhelms the fact that this is about water itself -- its power, beauty, and importance. Christoph the Insultor would say: "Congratulations, you finally learned water is wet -- and somehow Disney made you cry about it." Bottom line: Journey of Water isn't a thrill ride, but it doesn't need to be. It's stunning, interactive, and absolutely worth walking through every time you're in EPCOT. Ignore the complainers -- this one's a gem.

Yelp
Centrally located at Epcot, the Journey of Water completely saved us from an afternoon meltdown! This self-guided interactive journey takes you through a lush nature path that allows you to learn about the global water cycle and why water is one of the most precious resources on earth! No line? Educational? A Space to Cool Off? And Fun? It truly cannot get any better than this. There are several interactive features that allows you to play with the water which my kids really loved. At the very end you get there is a photo op station where you can get a photo with Te Fiti in the background. Use your memory maker if you have one!

Yelp
One of my favorite walking paths at Epcot. First, you start with a refreshing spray cooling you down from the heat. Then learn about water in nature. Of course the kids love the Moana elements, but it's an escape from the pavement and you're immersed in nature. The kids enjoyed all the motion activated water features. You have to get a photo with Tifi! It's not a long walk but it's go at your own pace. I never felt it was too crowded in there either. It's a must stop, especially if a hot day.

Yelp
This was a really cool attraction! While my family was riding Cosmic Rewind at Epcot, I decided to stop by and walk through the Journey Of Water - Inspired By Moana. It's located in World Nature at Epcot, right next to the Finding Nemo ride! This attraction is for all ages and is open when the park opens! There is a dry and wet area that you can walk through while you're on the adventure through the Journey of Water. It was a little cold outside, around 55 during the holidays, so I opted to walk through the dry area. The Journey of Water took approximately 20 minutes for me to walk through. It's a self-guided journey! While you're on the adventure, you can play with the water features if you opt to go to the wet side. There are a lot of interactive activities as you walk along the path! I enjoyed just seeing all of the beautiful designs, especially Te Fiti at the end of the exhibit! It was just so stunning! Next time, I am going to have to go back and walk through the Journey of Water - Inspired by Moana at night time! I saw pictures where they light up the paths and the exhibit! It looks amazing!

Yelp
I'm old enough to remember when Epcot was a park about science, learning, etc. Those days are long gone but I appreciate this attraction for having some of that. This is a walk through attraction where you see and interact with various water installations. There are multiple plaques that teach you about various ways that water interacts in nature. It was a hot day when we initially walked up to this attraction and thought it would be refreshing to get splashed to cool off. At the last minute I decided that seeing it at night would probably make the best first impression and honestly I think I was correct. Parts of the walk just look absolutely wonderful lit up. Several of the installations are controlled by your hand movements and some with your whole body! You really don't have to worry about getting wet if you don't want to *if* you're paying attention to your surroundings. It won't take you long to walk through this. It will take you even less if you skip reading all of the plaques. While I wouldn't wait in a long line to see this again I would absolutely enjoy walking through it again.

Yelp
Chill walk through location at EPCOT. There are multiple interactive water experiences that are fun for kids.

Yelp
Beautifully created. An interactive attraction that is both educational and refreshing ;) Bring shoes you can splash on, because you're gonna want to... specially on hot days.

Yelp
Moana, Journey of Water is one of the newer attractions at EPCOT. It is considered an attraction, but is more of walk-through, play area. This is fantastic for kids, but even adults can enjoy it. There is a lot of opportunity to get wet, but if you are like myself, you are able to avoid the water and stay dry. However, when its super-hot, this is a great place to cool off. This attraction is located near the front of the park, next to The Living Seas, which you will need a ticket to the park to visit. This is a Moana themed area entirely based off how we can interact with water and why it is so important. This is an extremely photogenic place as well, which I feel is better at night. Each section of this attraction has a different theme as well as a different experience, which are all pretty much interactive. You can play music by running your hands through water streams, make water jump using your hands to control the height of the steam, walk through a waterfall which will open up if you walk slow enough and the best area, water rushing over stones which creates a water wall. Most of these are one at time with a few people being able to go at once, but on busy days you will have to wait and probably compete with others. As an adult, I cannot step in front of a child so some of them do require a little patience. If you want to take photos or participate with the water, you might have to wait. As I said, I personally think this attraction is better at night, but we have been both in the day and night. We have been able to get some really awesome photos just using out phones. I would absolutely recommend checking this out, especially when its hot. It's just a really neat addition to EPCOT. I really think everyone can enjoy their time here.

Yelp
Amazing! I wasn't sure what this newer exhibit was but I am so glad we checked it out! You can leisurely walk through it. Beautiful water and floral displays along with interactive water exhibits. There is a pretty photo op with Tefiti with a photopass photographer and Moana is usually set up outside the area to the right of Nemo.
google avatar

Mark H.

Yelp
LOL who cares about this. It's out of place in Epcot and was added as a quick attraction that adds little to no value.
google avatar

Frances B.

Yelp
We went through this just as Epcot's fireworks were starting so it was dark and almost empty. The place felt utterly magical. The water reacted to our touch in various ways throughout the walk through, from musical notes to leaping up or down at the raising and lowering of an arm, to clearing a wall of water just in time to walk through the water. Kids can enjoy running around and splashing. But we loved the serenity of it in the evening, like a secret garden in which the water is alive and beneficent. One of my favorite parts of Disney world.

Yelp
Finally got to check this out as the walls have come down since the last time I was there. I've read mixed reviews on it, from it's fun for kids to it's waste of space and meh. For me, it was very cute and educational. I couldn't help but to play with the water and watch little kids get excited, waving their arms in the air trying to control the waves and splashing. The beautiful Tefiti sculpture towards the end was lovely. Definitely a nice spot to cool off.

Yelp
An absolutely stunning new addition to Epcot at disneyworld. What can I say other then how gorgeously themed this area is and how amazing the story behind it is, with showing how we are connected with water all around us. There are multiple areas to visit, making music with water, walking under a waterfall that magically disappears while you go under it and still being next to you, to making waves with your arms and making water go higher and higher as you raise your hands. I love how the design of the rocks are hidden with characters from Moana, such as Pua, Hei Hei and Maui. The story of each section of this area shows how we make perceive water and harmonious with us and that makes me absolutely love how the story flows (pun intended) to the next area that you will wall through. They have amazing photo opportunities, with my favorite being a giant Te Fiti, that seems as if they took it right from the movie and put it infront of me! I loved how the designs of each section transport me into the story and the cast members helping continue the story while you're walking around. Easily a must stop, and I have everytime I have visited epcot since it has opened! Also a great place to visit on a hot day!!!

Yelp
If you are hot when at EPCOT and want somewhere to cool off, then you need to go to Journey of Water. This is located near the front of the park, next to The Living Seas at EPCOT. You will need a ticket to the park to visit this attraction. This is one of the newer attractions at EPCOT and is completely designed around Moana. It is a walk-through water experience that is extremely interactive. It is also just absolutely beautiful and a must visit in my opinion. I actually think this is prettier and allows for better pictures at night. But I would suggest seeing it both in the daylight and night. This is a walk through, teaching you how we interact with water. Each section has a different theme and different experience to interact with water. You can play music by running your hands through water streams, making water jump, using your hands to control the height of a water steam, walking through a waterfall which magically stops and opens when you get close and my favorite area making the water rush over stones creating a water wall. Most of the activities are single person but there are a few that are better when numerous people participate at the same time. This area will really cool you down if you are hot. You can avoid the water if you want as well so you don't need to get wet. I personally don't mind especially when its super-hot outside. It can also get crowded, but it is not as crowded anymore as to when it first opened. If you are wanting to take photos or participate with the water, you might have to wait. There are lots of kids running around, cutting in front of you, running through the water, your photos, etc. So, I would say, patience is also needed. Everyone is just trying to enjoy their time. As I said, I think it's better at night, I have actually had some really amazing photos just on my iPhone at night. There is lots to see, things to read and always something to learn so I would 100% say check it out. I really think everyone will enjoy their time in there. Also, drinks are not allowed inside and there is one restroom in the middle.

Yelp
This was such a unique, immersive experience in Epcot! While walking through the Journey of Water, there are so many different ways to interact with the water. One of the coolest exhibits was the one where you can hold out your hand over the pond, and the water shoots up to your hand. The Te Fiti statue was so beautiful and definitely my favorite part of the walk-through. It does get a bit crowded to take pics so it is a bit of a wait sometimes! Definitely worth checking it out on a trip to Epcot.

Yelp
A great experience for the family with wonderful hands on activities. Love to go here when im burning in Epcot. Would come back again.

Yelp
This was a lot of fun! It's great to have another walk-in experience versus getting a LL or having to wait for virtual queue or something like that. I'm sure it can stil be busy and a line may form but for my recent visit you could walk through pretty easily. My 2 and 5 year old loved it, they really enjoyed being able to touch the water, splash around a little and cool off. We spent about 20 minutes making our way through the whole thing and stopping to play.

Yelp
We had such a great time at Epcot, and this was one of my favorite new attractions. First of all, everything is beautiful, and it's also a great place to cool down. I LOVE the interactive water features--definitely a fun experience to go through.

Yelp
Looking for a super cool way to stay cool on a hot day in the park? Well look no further as that's exactly what can be found here as there's soo many different ways to get wet and just interact with water like it's really cool and very fun for all ages as you really can't go wrong with it! One of my favorites was the water harp where you run your hand through it and it makes different noises! There's soo many cool activities here so definitely check it out on your visit to Epcot! There's a ton of hidden Mickeys in here too so definitely look for them it was really co finding a few of them! Overall get wet and enjoy water in any way you can where your jumping with it singing with it or just getting wet with it!

Yelp
Disney, you continue to mesmerized us with your beautiful story telling, with beautiful water features and re creating this amazing area. Absolutely love this new addition to Epcot, I cannot wait for you to enjoy this new area!

Yelp
The Moana Journey of Water is not a ride but an experience. Enter. Walk around. Make the water move by standing over these sensor plates or whatever they're called and waving your hands. Stick your hands into fountains and other things. What a cool sensory experience! My former students would have had such a good time here! This must be a great spot to cool off!

Yelp
The journey of water is EPCOT's latest entry into the world of conservation and education. Primarily a walk through exhibit, you can either get wet or stay dry depending upon which side of the path you stay on. There's even a rest room in here. Follow Moana and her friends as they discover springs, rain, etc leading up to oceans and how they are formed. By far the most popular exhibit is the interactive water harp that "plays" for you once you strum the keys. All the exhibits in this attraction are interactive and it is nice learning more about rivers and streams. The big highlight of this attraction is the statue of Te Fite in the middle. She's the number one photographed topiary in this attraction and wait times can be long to get a good glimpse of her. The exhibit takes about 30 minutes to walk though and you will find a hidden Moana and her friends among them. The journey of water is located between the Land Pavillion and the Seas Pavillion. It's a great new attraction and one which will provide not only an educational experience but fun as well. Great way to cool off on a hot day!

Yelp
Such a fun attraction for the kids and entire family. My daughter was so excited to explore after seeing it on Blippi.
google avatar

Emil C.

Yelp
This was a very interactive walk-through attraction located across from The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Each station or area involved interaction with water, sometimes to control the water's behavior or to create different sounds with the water. I was there when the weather was on the colder side, but it was still fun to check out. This place must be a blast during those hot summer days! While Te Fiti was a bit smaller than I'd expected, it was still pretty dang awesome to see her in person. You'll definitely want a picture or a selfie with her!
google avatar

Alan L.

Yelp
A very cool interactive exhibit that takes you through the water cycle. At each stage of the cycle, there were many small stations where there were some pretty cool mechanisms that allowed you to interact with water in some way. There were some water chimes, and some water fountains that responded to your hand movements. However, quite a few of these stations did not seem to function. Overall it was quite fun though, and it made me feel like a kid again!
google avatar

Darren P.

Yelp
Not a ride, but an experience showing water's journey and how we all need to conserve. It would be a refreshing place to go to in a hot day.
google avatar

Sarah W.

Yelp
So much fun! Journey of water is a beautiful walk through experience that immerses you in the island vibes of Moana while you learn about the cycle of water. I wasn't sure what to expect but this was actually really cool, and a great way to stay cool in the Florida heat! The experience has different sections where you can interact with the water, I especially loved playing the water harp and the waterfall secret door. Lots of fun for kids as well and there is a splash pad at the end. Moana is one of my favorite Disney movies so I really loved this and I'm glad it's finally featured at a park!

Yelp
A nice place to cool off at EPCOT with features for the younger crowd For the EPCOT enthusiasts who have waited for this attraction to open ever since they closed the Innovention West atrium, the time has come. This is located on the right side of Spaceship Earth as you enter EPCOT. It is a self-paced walking attraction clearly geared toward the younger crowd with climate-friendly messages throughout the walk. No strollers are allowed in the walkway and parking for them is off to the right of the entrance. Mobility chairs seemed to be allowed. The walkways were fairly wide but there were definitely places that caused bottlenecks and slowdowns. Most features have a water portion where the users can interact with the portion. As an example, there is a place where kids can interrupt a waterfall and make sounds and music. Another area allows people to reach over a railing and control a fountain's size. A "land" portion allows people to choose one of 3 tunnels to stay dry or get soaked. The "Sea" portion allows a group of people to help the waves break higher than normal. The scenery is beautiful and impressive with a large statue of Tafiti gracing the exit of the walkway. It is a very nice new addition to the EPCOT park. Enjoy.

Yelp
Do this at night it's so much better. I have walked the area during the day and at night. It's so much more beautiful at night with the lights and water features.

Sasha E.

Yelp
This attraction was such a unique and fun experience for all ages. There are activities for the little ones and for adults. Plenty of walking space, you can go through the attraction at your own pace and spend more or less time in certain areas as you like. As suggested by its name, journey of water inspired by Moana, is centered around the playfulness of water. You can choose between the options to get wet or to stay dry without being separated from your group. We were at the parks in January so we opted for the dry route at every junction. It may have been different if we came in the middle of the Florida summer. There are some fantastic interactive features, some are solo play while others require more than one person to activate the feature. Highly recommend this attraction, its a fun and relaxed adventure for all ages.

Yelp
Yippee walking through topiary and water features. Yawn. If there's more than a 5 minute line skip it. One and done for me, since it appears it wont be changing. Waste of space, the only people who will enjoy this are the elderly.... Maybe.
