We had such a blast on this trip. Our guide Jake was excellent and funny. The water was so cold but thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved that this company is Christ Centered and they pray with you and talk to you about Jesus!!!! Can hardly wait to book another trip in the future. Thanks Journey Quest!!

Mark was an awesome guide. He shared stories wirh us during the slow parts of the river and kept us all on the right track in the rapids. I highly recommend Journey Quest.

We went as a Trail Life Troop - nine youth and three adults. Great rafting, kayaking, and rock climbing. The best guides (Josh, David, and Tim), who entertained and encouraged us with God's Word the whole time. Mark, the owner, and Josh took us down the Royal Gorge, which was amazing. Highly recommend for your family, troop, or youth group!

Our family felt like this was our favorite activity of the week. Our five-year-old granddaughter and our 13-year-old daughter had so much fun! Our guide was fun, friendly, and skilled! I fell in the river and he quickly responded and got me out quickly! We will definitely be back for more family fun!

Last May my husband and I took an 1 year anniversary trip out west! One of the highlights was Journey Quest - Mark our guide was exceptional! Everyone there was friendly and informative about the white water rafting we did that cold morning. I will be going back and maybe we will try the full day this time. As a Christian this place made me feel safe, especially as Mark prayed over our boat before we left and the encouragement felt during the ride. Personally, I did some mental, emotional and spiritual healing out on the water. If you have never done white water rafting before I recommended. Being out in nature makes you feel close to God and I was able to clear my head while rafting. Thank Journey Quest for now holding a special and precious memory in my heart!

We Absolutely loved our rafting trip with journey quest! They were very helpful when we called to book and very responsive via email even after hours. The guides were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide, Nate even gave my teenager a quick lesson on how to guide the raft. Nate was also very cautious and attentive to my 8 yr old and ensured he felt included and safe. We will definitely recommend journey quest to our friends and family and we will definitely use them for our next rafting trip!

Talk about a great time filled with adventure and the ability to make memories! We had Mark as our guide and Sarah who helped with our rafting experience. Sarah was helpful during the booking process and Mark is an excellent guide. Our children had a great time as we did the the beginner's run out of Texas Creek. The views were scenic and the rapids were perfect for our children. We looking forward to making this a yearly event for our family!

Wow Journey Quest is definitely the best rafting company I have rafted through. They were so great about preparing us throughout the rafting trip to be prepared for different rapids and how to properly row through them. The trip was filled with several different rapids, which was more so than other rafting trips that I have been on. They are also so intentional about getting to know their customers throughout the rafting trip, which was another bonus in making the trip so memorable. I highly recommend going rafting through this company!

It's not the biggest or the fanciest rafting company in canon city but it is probably the best one there. Great service and a caring business. guides were great. They offer a cool spot to jump in along the river which was neat. Would recommend this company to anyone

Me and friends have used Journey Quest several times over the years. We've had great service every time. All the guides are accommodating of all skill levels and will tailor the experience for each group. The double dip is our favorite and a great value!

Journey Quest is a great whitewater rafting company with excellent guides to take you down the Royal Gorge! Our guide prayed with us before we went, which was great! Safety and love for others drives this company! Can't go wrong with JQ.

Vessles For Honor Rafting is an awesome and fun company. My girlfriend, and two of our other friends had a great time. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. Our tour guide Dwight, the owner, he took us safely down the Arkansas River through the Royal Gorge and we all had (including Dwight) a blast! Dwight gave outstanding instruction, and just did a tremendous job. The raft never overturned despite going in Class 3 and Class 4+ Rapids (which was a lot for the three of us who were from San Diego). Highly recommend Vessles For Honor!

JQ is outstanding! White water rafting is inherently a good time but what separates JQ from other companies I have rafted with is the intentionality towards safety and understanding how to crew in the raft. Our guides were top notch, highly trained, confident, and interested in getting the crew to actually participate in the raft voyage not just being passively guided. All the support people were helpful at every turn. JQ is a place where you really wanted to be and go back to. This was our second year with JQ and we are booking ahead for next year. JQ is not as big as some of the other companies, which is a big plus because they attend to you in a very personable way. But wait, it gets even better. JQ is one of the least expensive rafting experiences you will ever have. Combine the cost with the quality and you get the best value period! And there is still more, JQ has one of the prime locations with their boat house located on the river, no long bus trips from Canyon City. This is a huge convenience especially at the end of the day when you are wet and tired and want to get into dry clothes and not suffer a long bus ride back to your vehicles. So I am a fan, you will be too!
