Room was fantastic, We reserved the one with attached onsen, right outside you have a mirrors and sink, a cert of the water tested as well as free flow beer and condiments like coffee, tea. Before entering a staff will help carry your luggage and guide you to your room, once inside they will explain everything. Only downside is the outside of our windows there was scaffolding, maybe repair quicker and remove them before the next guests arrive. Both meals was superb as we reserve the one with breakfast and sashimi dinner. Very fresh compare to other shops outside sapporo, umi isn't fishy and very unami not to mention the service was excellent by the staff that carries the dishes out to us. Other amenities in the hotel wise are free food at specific hours interval, library, public and private onsen! Only thing to make sure is the 1 hour bus ride from sapporo, 1400 yen for rapid (might need to reserve) and 700+ yen for the normal one, just follow Google map and you're rest assured!

Visited as a 3-generation family - including elderly grandparents. We loved the coziness of the hotel. Rooms were great and staff super friendly. Facilities including onsen were clean and well maintained. |We loved the location off the main road but walking distance to nature spots.||Autumn is a fantastic time to experience the Jozankei Daiichi Hotel Suizantei, embedded in autumn foliage and offering seasonal delicacies on their dinner menu

This place was beyond my expectations. The staff and the setting are so welcoming and relaxing. It was a great enjoy the moment stop in my 2 weeks in Japan and the in room onsen was amazing. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. That pumpkin flan will live in my memories. Don’t hesitate, come here!

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and it exceeded my expectations—though it was more expensive than before. The free shuttle pick-up from Sapporo was very convenient.||I loved the open-air public bath and the delicious meals. For guests without meal plans, small plates were available between 6–9pm, and breakfast food was also provided. Snacks and drinks at check-in were a nice touch.||The newly opened building next door is beautifully designed, with a spacious lounge, public bath, and snack/drink options (some paid). A great place to unwind.||The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout. If I return to Sapporo, I’ll definitely stay here again.||Bonus: The Jozankei Nature Luminarie’s Kappa Festival, held in summer, is well worth seeing.||Only suggestion: it would be helpful if the hotel’s website included a map of the shuttle pick-up spot.

Recommended. Good location. Friendly staff. Private onsen was awesome. You can regulate water temperature. The lounge area with the free flow drinks was fun. The cozy library with tons of books including manga in Japanese was great.

First time visiting this hotel with family, main purpose was for onsen bathing so we booked rooms with in room onsen facility. Room was very spacious, decorated in an old Japanese Ryokan style. ||Meals are compulsory for both breakfast and set dinner, prices included at time of booking. Breakfast only provided in Japanese style, no Western foods and also no coffee provided during breakfast, only Japanese tea, juice and milk.||Coffee is available at Ichi Lounge on 2nd flloor, starting 8.30 am. onwards with some croissant. Lounge is open all day long with free flow alcohol beverages in the evening.

Very professional and kind service. Room was very clean and comfortable. Dinner was amazing, very fresh. Shuttle bus from Sapporo is super convenient. It was very nice that they called a day before to confirm the shuttle location.

My wife and I spend a wonderful day at Jozankeionsenhigashi onsen. We booked a room with a private onsen and it was heaven. The ability to use our onsen anytime was fabulous. The spring water’s mineral content was not as nice as the ones in Giro but it was good. The hotel is also beautifully decorated with tons of beautiful artwork and ceramics. It is big, airy and very tranquil. Lots of after meal food, drinks (many bottles of sake, plum wine, Sapporo bears) kept us entertained. It was also a very relaxing and tranquil space. And the dinner-simply the best Kauai meal I’ve ever had. 9 courses of pure heaven. The Chief really outdid himself with the freshness of every item served. I highly highly recommend this place. Will definitely come back again. The only slight drawback was the shuttle service. We had to wait two hours to get in ours after check in, but the hotel welcomed us to stay in the facility.
