A small but beautiful park with a footbath, a place to cook onsen eggs, statues, and a Kappa-themed photo stand-in. It’s gorgeous in the winter.
You can purchase the eggs, and towels if you need, across the bridge at the souvenir shop. It’s 180円 for 3 eggs in Winter 2024. No salt or pepper is provided. The sign says to cook them for 17 minutes, but our eggs were still very soft (gooey white, running yolk) even after 25 minutes. If you like harder eggs, cook them for longer. However, do watch out for crows stealing your eggs.
