The unspoiled charm of onsen town Jozankei, Japan - SilverKris

"A public thermal park celebrating the area’s hot-spring heritage, offering free, accessible water features such as reflexology footbaths (promoted for longevity and health), hand baths and even dedicated baths designed for boiling eggs; the installations serve as a playful, communal tribute to the founding monk and let visitors experience the local geothermal waters up close." - Claire Knox

A cute little park with a free hot spring foot bath — such a relaxing spot to take a short break. There’s also a fun statue with natural hot spring water gushing out, adding to the charm. Peaceful atmosphere and a lovely place to rest your feet and enjoy the surroundings.

A small but beautiful park with a footbath, a place to cook onsen eggs, statues, and a Kappa-themed photo stand-in. It’s gorgeous in the winter. You can purchase the eggs, and towels if you need, across the bridge at the souvenir shop. It’s 180円 for 3 eggs in Winter 2024. No salt or pepper is provided. The sign says to cook them for 17 minutes, but our eggs were still very soft (gooey white, running yolk) even after 25 minutes. If you like harder eggs, cook them for longer. However, do watch out for crows stealing your eggs.

Beautiful park. Small but has everything you need - foot spa, rivers, great views.

Take a towel with u but even if u dont have one dont miss the foot dip in the warm water in the cool weather. It is right at the entrance almost no walking to reach from entrance. Very relaxing

There is a public hot spring for footbaths, although the entrance is not very obvious. The park itself is quite small—if you’re not using the footbath, 5 to 10 minutes should be enough for a visit.

This place is famous for onsen meaning hot springs. Is it a small park with footbath place where you can take it free. October month, that is Autumn season, is best for going there as surrounding beauty will stunning you. Here one place is available where you can boil eggs, it's so hot.

Very nice park with koi streamers celebrating Children’s Day. The park has a free foot bath onsen as well. Parking was difficult here and I did not find a public parking lot close by. The small onsen town has a few onsen facilities for day or overnight use with plenty of parking. Unfortunately the road to get to this spot is under heavy construction and traffic backup is very common even during the weekday.
