Great Food, Great Staff Some of the best bar food in Chicago. With a diverse menu and fresh ingredients there is something for everyone here. The portions are large! This can not be overstated. It seems every bar in Chicago you either have to choose between small portions of very good food or larger portions of mediocre food, not here. They also offer a variety of small appetizers if you are not that hungry. The staff is terrific and goes above and beyond when it comes to taking car of you. Often the owner himself is the one bringing your food out and filling your beer. If you are looking for a place to order out from or come in for a bite after work look no further. You will not be disappointed. -Cheers

Honestly, no major complaints about the place. Service was pleasant and prompt. Outside patio was nice, considering the weather was great the day my wife and I visited. And both the burger and grilled cheese were tasty, with options for things like tater tots instead of fries. I also had a great bottled brew from Off Color called Apex Predator (see photo) to go with my burger. No major complaints, but some of the online reviews had it hailed as one of the best restaurants in the Lakeview area. It's a solid neighborhood bar, with arguably food a bit better than the common bar fare; I just wasn't blown away. I also thought the beer list might be a bit bigger, as I tend to prefer places with a large craft beer list. Again, while not as much at hoped, there were some good beers both on tap and in bottles.

Above average beer list. Ambiance is on par for a dive-y bar. Not much to set it apart from surrounding options. Service is just at the acceptable level. Best bet for good service is to sit at the bar. The bartender is very attentive and knowledgeable.

This is my go-to weekday spot for a beer and good food. They are always changing up the draft list and have great weekday deals. The internal patio is very nice and the service is consistently good. Unpretentious and casual local spot.

Excellent Italian beef sandwich. Great selection of beers too. Great bartender. I always enjoy watching the games there. The beer garden out back is a wonderful to relax and enjoy a drink.

Small neighborhood bar with great (huge) bar food and an excellent beer list. It has a surprisingly large patio for warmer months. Very friendly and quick service. Recommended

Great food if you are looking for pub fare. Bar tenders are friendly and attentive. Beer menu is an interesting mix of oddities and more standard stuff.

Watch the owner scream at a patron cause his kitchen staff couldn't handle a group of 6 people coming in at once. They left after 45 minutes of not getting their food. Owner refused to give a refund and tried starting a fight with the guy on his way out.
