My husband and I spent 4 nights at this hotel and were very satisfied with our experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The helped us ship our luggage, made recommendations for locations to visit and responded to any requests. The room was snug but comfortable, quiet, and nicely decorated. This location is also a major plus and the Shinjuku station is only a couple of blocks away which made getting around much easier. We also found several small local spots to eat within a block radius from the hotel. Their laundry facilities were perfect. We had breakfast a couple of times at the hotel and enjoyed the wide range of foods. We would absolutely stay here again.

Very happy with our first stay in Tokyo. Arriving late at night after a long flight, it was easy to get settled and catch some long-awaited Zzzzzs. The room was on the smaller size, just enough to be functional. However ours was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were exceptional and very accommodating, and breakfast was more than I could ask for - western, European or Japanese. We would’ve appreciated having basic room service daily without having to ask. Otherwise, super happy Thank you for the warm and welcoming stay.

Our stay at JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Shinjuku was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The location is unbeatable — just a short 3-5 minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station’s south exit, which made getting around Tokyo a breeze and put us right in the heart of Shinjuku’s food and entertainment areas. The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable with large windows that let in lots of natural light. The beds were super cozy, and the thoughtful amenities like quality towels and fast Wi-Fi made us feel right at home. What really stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. Every team member we met was polite, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable — from quick check-in to offering great local recommendations. English-speaking staff made navigation and questions effortless. We also loved the on-site dining experience at the restaurant, where breakfast featured a delicious buffet with both Japanese and Western options — a great way to start each day. Being so close to countless restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores, everything we wanted — from early morning coffee to late-night snacks — was right at our doorstep. Overall, this hotel was the perfect base for exploring Tokyo — comfortable rooms, wonderful service, and a prime Shinjuku location that made our trip truly memorable!

This is already my 3rd time of staying at this hotel in 1.5 years time, and I still like it a lot. Location: It's definitely one of the most convenient hotels I've ever stayed in. It's literally just around the corner of Shinjuku Station + Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal (Airport buses coming from or heading to Narita/Haneda Airport). It's nestled in a quiet area, so it's protected from all the hustle and bustle of the crazy part of Shinjuku. And another great thing is there's a Lawson just downstairs of the hotel! If you're OK to walk a few minutes further down the street, there's a Family Mart and 7-11, too. Staff: All of my check-ins and check-outs have been very smooth and all the staff were very nice and friendly. Coin Laundry: There are a few floors where you can wash your clothes. They have a few washing machines that do wash & dry together, or separate machines that do wash OR dry only. You don't need to bring your own detergent, as it's automatically dispensed into your washing by the machine. Just make sure to have some JPY100 coins ready, as they don't have a change machine for you to use. Room: I stayed in a standard double room and their room and toilet size is definitely on the spacious size compared to some other traditional Japanese hotels. And it's also very clean compared to some other 4-star hotels I stayed in around Tokyo area. TV: I love the fact that it's a Smart TV, so you can stream your own content into the TV, e.g. YouTube or Netflix. Pillow: This is one of the things that I can never get used to, as their pillows aren't very supportive to my personal taste. So, if you like firm pillows like I do, I'd recommend you to bring your own [and give up 1/4 of your suitcase space like what I did....in exchange of some good nights' sleep, which was definitely worth it!]

Room is clean and spacious. Staff service were extremely helpful. Special thanks to Ms. Saki who went the extra mile to pick up my items and have it deliver to me when I had to travel to another province. Location is fantastic too, Mcd and Lawson is just next to the hotel hence you can easily grab your necessities and food. Not to mention the JR stations and bus terminal is just across the road which you don’t have to walk too long after a long day out. Definitely recommended hotel to stay for convenience

Our first trip to Japan and the most perfect hotel for the first five nights. Ideal location, walking distance to Shinjuku, but far enough away from any street noise. Rooms a great size for westerners (we had two carryon suitcases) and thoughtful staff who think of everything: phone chargers, laundry bags, quality toiletries and hot tea. Walking distance to downtown, many charming restaurants and cafes nearby (we loved visiting Cafe Punkto every morning), and a 7-Eleven nearby for late night snacks. We did not visit the restaurant downstairs, but heard it was delicious and priced well. We will return to this hotel when we visit Tokyo again. Thank you so much !

Excellent stay. Service was excellent all across. Special thanks to front desk - Jin-san and Ueno-san for their exceptional service, patience and polite attitude. Hardware is new and well maintained. Buffet breakfast had limited variety and repeated. However, quality was excellent, replenishment was fast, superbly attentive staff.

Location: It’s located around 10 mins walk from the main Shinjuku station and shopping area. I wouldn’t say it’s super convenient but still acceptable. It would be rather hot if you need to walk in the hot summer with 40C as there is no shelter along the way.||Lobby and Room: Check in was smooth and staff were extremely helpful. They speak good English too. However, the beds were too soft and the mattresses on top of the bed are not the right size, so they kept sliding towards the floor. Also, the clock was not at the correct time. Our room was a Deluxe Hollywood Twin with 38 sq m, for 2 adults and a child is quite spacious.||Parking: Parking is 2000 Yen per night but the parking close at 10pm, so if you arrive after 10pm, you cannot park your car there.||Overall impression was good except the bed and some small issues. Will visit again.

Yelp
Incredible location, right next to Shinjuku Station (3 min walk), 8 min walk to Airport Limo Bus stop at the station, McDonald's on the corner, Lawsons/Family Mart on the same street, restaurant downstairs. The front desk was really kind in checking us in both times. We started here and then came back for the last night of our trip. Our first room was a basic room with a queen bed and it was tiny. We had two carry on luggages and it worked for us. I cannot imagine making it work with two big luggages. However, it was still comfortable for us. When we came back, we requested a larger two twin room and when we checked in, they upgraded us so our room was larger, like a typical hotel room in the US. They have water refill station in each floor! Get hot, room, or cold water. There's a kettle in the room along with cups and a pitcher. The pitcher and water refill station were really helpful. We left our luggage when we checked out before we had to catch our bus back to the airport. Their luggage storage is very convenient. There's plenty of seating by it too if you just want to chill for a bit. Would come back to this hotel!

Yelp
The location of this hotel is right off the Main Street, yet is on a quiet street with little traffic. The room was incredibly quiet considering how full the hotel was and how loud of an area it's in. The beds were a tiny bit hard but it was doable. I was in love with the shower/tub room and the large amenity bottles were a nice touch. The only issue we really had was with the breakfast. Some items like the eggs and potatoes were routinely cold even though they were sitting on a hot plate. It didn't seem to be working well. It was almost impossible to get someone to make an omelette or fried egg for me because the ones sitting out were always cold. The rest of our stay was great, but I expected a better breakfast considering that the hotel wasn't cheap.

Yelp
Very convenient location right next to Shinjuku Station. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are pretty standard for Tokyo, nothing to rave about but they were clean and a good size.

Yelp
Everything is great except the bed. The room is a decent size for a Japanese hotel, the amenities are nice, the bathroom space is a nice size with excellent shower and nice bidet, and the location is PERFECT since it's close to the train station and the main part of the city, but the bed is so uncomfortable and the pillows are so thin. Sleeping on that mattress was rough.

Yelp
I adore old cities and historic buildings but don't love antiquated hotel facilities. Especially beds that need mattress replacement, and older bathrooms that have not been updated. Old cities like Tokyo, are filled with hotels that could use a few updates. A friend recently told me about this fairly newer hotel that he stayed in last year, in the heart of Shinjuku. Looking at the calendar...this spring ended up being an excellent opportunity to check it out. Modern, sleek and convenient are the words I'd select to best describe this property. From the moment you enter the first door to the lobby, you felt it. By the time you made your way through the second lobby door you were sure of it. I knew we were going to enjoy calling this place home for the next 9 days. Base camp here is ideal because it is just a 6 minute walk from the Shinjuku train station , 5 minute walk from the Shinjuku bus terminal & 4 minute walk from the subway station. Exploring Tokyo, easy! First stop, lobby bathroom. Cool, the door opened to the stall and the cover lifted like a spaceship :) The check-in process was seamless. I liked the fact that the reception desk staff was not well versed in English, possibly indicating less tourists and more local guests. I don't stay in American hotels in Japan for this reason. The hot hand towels that they greeted us with, were refreshing after a long journey. The elevator ride to the upper floors was quick. Modern elevators are always nice, this one was roomy by Tokyo standards. A normal elevator has one or possibly two panels of buttons facing the front of the door. This one had four panels, two in front and one on each side. Designed for ease. I also liked the idea that the property was set up to place your room key on the indicator to access the rooms. This property is located in the heart of a busy city so it was comforting to know that you had to be a hotel guest to come up to the rooms. Feeling safe in Japan is definitely not an issue, it's safe. But always nice to know that if you weren't suppose to be there, it wouldn't happen. Once upstairs, the hall areas are decorated in dark hues, ambient lighting, with a modern feel. Each floor has a vending machine, an ice machine, washer & dryer. No pool or gym. The rooms are not as large as an American hotel. The bed is new and comfortable. The city views from the rooms are magnificent, great aerials of Shinjuku. The bathroom is the star of the show. After long days of catching trains, cabs, buses and subways and many, many miles of walking...I loved returning everyday to this strong shower head and deep soaking tub. The long scrub towels reminded me of my grandparents house. The shampoo, conditioner & body bath were of good quality, not necessary to bring your own. Rooms are equipped with a safe to store any valuables. A refrigerator, which we used everyday when purchasing some of the high quality fresh fruits that the area has to offer. If you need to iron, call the front desk, they will deliver it in less than 5 minutes. It is such a cute compact iron. Complimentary bottles of water & drip coffee pouches were brought to the room daily. Tasty and quite nice. I like strong coffee, this one was medium but we found it a pleasant way to rise! Another cool feature that I haven't seen in any hotels abroad is that each room comes with its own complimentary smart phone and free internet. Handy for us because we didn't notify our phone provider that we needed internet before we departed. It was really nice to discover that they placed this phone equipped with unlimited WiFi on the desk. This became useful for navigating our way around to the places we mapped out on our itinerary. Why didn't they mention it when we confirmed or checked in? So it wasn't necessary to pay for International roaming or WiFi charges on our phones after all. An unnecessary added expense and good information to know ahead of time. It ended up being a good thing, that we forgot. The parking in this hotel was designed for Batman & Robin's bat mobile. It was often fun to watch the parking attendant navigate the efficient use of limited space in a big city. The breakfast buffet is a separately owned restaurant. Hotel guests are offered the breakfast at a discounted rate. You can also select rooms that include the complimentary buffet. We didn't select to have it everyday but when we did, we found it a pretty awesome thing to look forward to the night before a well needed rest. The food selection offered here is another review on its own! The cost to stay here depends on your room type but it is moderate. It's not a grand property but perfect if you ever find yourself visiting the area. It's an absolute great find that deserves to be recognized.

Yelp
Location, location, location! This hotel could not be more perfectly located near the Shinjuku station, opening you up to the whole city within minutes. I'd recommend Blossom for your stay in Tokyo for the location alone. The lobby is sleek and staff is friendly. Our room was small but had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great, and we got water bottles by our bed everyday. There was a plethora of toiletries provided including razors and a hair brush, but they don't provide lotion so keep that in mind. Also, there is a fee if you lose a room key, which I've never experienced before. Just be aware.

Yelp
Great place to stay in Shinjuku just steps away from the train station without all the noise of the main streets through town. Located on a side street just a stones-throw from the station makes this a perfect spot to hole up while you're traveling in Tokyo. We stayed six nights and were delighted by the clean and comfortable room we had. Always clean and quiet for a great nights sleep. Considering it's in Japan, the rooms were decently sized and had a fridge to keep some snacks or drinks cold. Light switches conveniently located next to the bed made for an easy "lights out". We were mostly exhausted from walking ten plus miles a day from sightseeing, so this was a welcome relief when you finally plop yourself on the comfortable beds. Storage space for clothes was limited and the closets so thin that you had to hang the hangers flat instead of width-wise. All good to me but it gives an idea how economical the space in the room is. Downstairs there is a perfect buffet for a traveler. Anything from an American breakfast to sushi and just about everything in between, we made use of this a few times during our stay. Fresh croissants that melt in your mouth and interesting choices such as shrimp croquets or octopus balls for breakfast- Why not? The server staff in the restaurant and the hotel staff at the desk were all very friendly and made our stay a delight. For sure we would come back if we were staying in the area.

Yelp
Very nice hotel located nicely in shinjuku near lots of goodies and subway lines. The rooms are small but apparently everything in japan is small. But it was really comfortable. Nicely stocked with amenities, like ALL amenities...hair brush, razor! The front desk is nice and helpful and they speak some english. Free water each day, robes and slippers, comfy bed....we were quite happy with the room. Oh but the closet is tiny, so you do have to live out of your luggage a bit.

Yelp
Nice rooms, clean, comfortable and views galore when in the top floor rooms. Even though a little pricey, this is the west side and you get what you pay for !

Yelp
I traveled to Japan alone in May and I spent half of my trip here at the JR blossom Shinjuku. I have to stay I loved my stay. The room and bed were clean and extremely comfortable. They had a ton of amenities and the staff was prompt to help with ANYTHING you needed. They held my luggage, they ordered cabs and they made reservations for me. I will most definitely stay here again.
