Must visit. Altho it is significantly lower in height vs other buildings in the world, the offers a panaromic sight of Sapporo. This city is rather flat hence 38 floors is adequate to see it 360 degrees. We visited on a super clear day hence was could see all the Mount Moiwa as well as Furano. Environment is very calm and relaxing on the floor. Saw a few people sleeping on the chairs that are available. Ticket price is a bit steep but highly recommended.

The best night view of snowy Sapporo. A moment where a tranquil space and relaxing music come together. It was the awesome experience that brought peace to my mind and body.

Bought tickets in Klook for fast transaction and easy access but the counter is very open so it’s also okay not to purchase tickets online. JR tower is not the tallest tower in the world and not even on top 5 but still it’s worth to visit this place. It was very nice to watch the sunset and a lot of photo/video enthusiast were waiting for it. It was winter festival so the view was great, seeing the roof tops covered with snow.. it’s just like watching a snow toy village. There were also group of girl friends hanging out and playing cards while having this great view, some were “dating” - agree, also a great romantic spot😅 there’s also a souvenir shop beside the coffee shop, coffee’s aroma is enticing to have one cup of coffee while mesmerizing this great view so don’t miss visiting this place!

Best observatory in Sapporo and possibly all of Hokkaido. It's in the main station so it's pretty convenient. Good views for a long ways in all directions. Worth a visit if you are there. (Pro tip, don't forget to use the bathroom while you are there. Even they have great views)

A magnificent panorama view of Sapporo! Built in 2003, T38 is even taller than Sapporo landmark TV tower. It features a Tcafe, Tshop, art work and soundscape. You can take the T38 lift from the 6th floor of the Stellar shopping mall and pay Y740 admission fee. The 360° view on top is unforgettable.

For breathtaking 360-degree views of Sapporo, the JR Tower Observation Deck T38 is an unmissable destination. Perched atop the 38th floor of the JR Tower, this observatory stands 160 meters above ground, offering unparalleled vistas of the city and its surroundings. From here, visitors can gaze upon landmarks such as the Sapporo Dome, Mount Teine, Ishikari Bay, and, on clear days, even the distant peaks of Mount Yubari and Mount Ashibetsu. Conveniently located directly above Sapporo Station, access to T38 is seamless. Guests can take a dedicated elevator from the 6th floor of the Stellar Place shopping complex straight to the observatory. Inside, the ambiance is enhanced by curated artworks and a unique musical backdrop known as the “Planetary Scale,” creating a serene atmosphere. One of the observatory's standout features is the men's restroom, designed with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide an uninterrupted view of the city—a design that has garnered attention for its boldness and innovation. For those looking to relax, T’CAFÉ offers a selection of beverages and light meals during the day, and transforms into a cozy bar in the evening, serving over 30 types of cocktails. Adjacent to the café, T’SHOP provides a range of exclusive souvenirs, including locally crafted goods and observatory-themed items.

This place can see beautiful city view of Sapporo from different directions. After getting the ticket, take lift for few minutes can reach. The view is amazing here. Can spare some time enjoying the view. There are some chairs around place so that you can sit down and relax. Can see the train from here.

Yelp
Sapporo Tower Level 38 is located inside the JR Sapporo station which is where you most likely will be around to eat and also shop. It's not only a subway station, bus line, restaurants, and hotel but it also has an observation view of the city. We came here during night time to see all of Sapporo and it was beautiful. I love the city lights. Please note that even though Sapporo is not just a small village or town it is a nice city. But this is the smallest observation thing I have ever done. Only 38 floors but still it's a good view. Loved the decorations and things around the building. We stayed and also had some drinks on the 38th floor.

Yelp
The top of the JR Tower is one of the easiest sightseeing spots that you can go to while in Sapporo. This is connected to the same building as Sapporo Station, which is a subway station you're pretty much guaranteed to use when visiting the area. Within the JR Tower, it is fairly easy to find out where to go to go up to the observatory deck for English-speaking tourists because there is signage in English. The observation deck offers a 360° view of the city with relaxing music and decently priced food/drinks. I thought the food/drinks would be overpriced because I assumed that this place was more of a tourist attraction, but it wasn't! The price of admission is ¥720 for adults and is cheaper for kids, according to their website. Note: You can enter for free if it's your birthday, and there are other various discounts for admission on their website. To buy a ticket in person, they have self-serve kiosks, which have various language options. While enjoying the view, I ordered a berry parfait, and it had just the right amount of sweetness. I wish I had remembered how much the parfait was but I just know it wasn't expensive compared to the price of other parfaits you can get in the city. Eating such a beautiful parfait while looking at the city from above made me feel complete. It also makes a super aesthetic and Instagram-worthy pic LOL The atmosphere is super relaxing, and they play a mellow piano soundtrack, which easily puts people at ease.

Yelp
I think the JR tower is the most convenient place to truly admire the beautiful view of Sapporo. It's connected to the Sapporo station, and the entry fee is only 720 yen. The way to get to the entrance was little bit confusing though. I went there at about 8pm, and it wasn't too packed. They have a machine that you can use to make a personalized souvenir key chain. It's been a while since I went there last time, but it was somewhere between 500 yen - 800 yen for this beautiful souvenir. I haven't been to the café/bar, but I plan to go the next time I visit the JR tower. Overall, it's a great place for sightseeing, date night or to just to hang out.

Yelp
"It offers amazing views of the city of Sapporo." Visitors to Sapporo should definitely check this place out. I had a good relaxing time while enjoying the view of the pretty city. Along with a selection of coffee and soft drinks, the cafe also offers Sapporo Classic (local beer) and wines which are all reasonably priced!!
