Great spot for a delicious variety of breakfast items. My wife and I enjoyed every bit of our breakfast. The next thing you know we're in a wonderful conversation with the server, cashier and locals at different tables. Just sharing stories and backgrounds feeling very welcome. We've been back a few times and it never disappoints.

As I've been traveling to Pascagoula for a while I've gotten a bit tired of the breakfast in my hotel and wanted to try someplace new. So I found Juanita's and I'm glad I did. I had the huevos rancheros and was quite happy with it. The service was warm and welcoming, the food damn tasty and I'll be back again to try more of their food.

Another place I've returned to after an extended absence. Ate here once months/years ago, but only being open for breakfast and lunch I rarely stop to dine. Decided I wanted breakfast before work on a Saturday morning. This place reminds me of the breakfast dinners if my hometown that my dad would take me too. They were *Greek diners, so slightly different, but eggs are eggs. It wasn't too busy and sat myself. It was a few minutes before I received a menu and service, but I was in no rush. Ordered the asada steak and eggs, and while everything tasted great, there were a few mistakes. I ordered cubed potatoes, but received hash browns instead. Also ordered toast, but it didn't come out with my meal originally. I finished most of it before I got my bread to soak up my runny eggs. The steak was good though and the eggs cooked perfectly to order. I didn't complain about the hash browns as they were good too. Wish they had alcohol, could've used a bloody or michelada, but one if the better breakfast I've had recently.

Great service, good food and reasonable prices. I enjoyed my breakfast burrito (loaded with ham, bacon, sausage, egg, onion and peppers) with a side of hash browns and hot coffee. Our waitress, Shelly, did an excellent job and we were privileged to meet the owner, Jesus, and his wife, Juanita. The location is perfect and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We hope to return for breakfast soon!

This was horrible 😢 . The steak was not the type that shouldn't be cooked on a flat top. Chewy, tough, no flavor. Anyone remember the movie 'Slither' or 'Night of The Living Creep' I was chewing the steak, but it was trying to slide down my throat. I was not done chewing, it was a struggle 😫. A few people were looking at me. So I guess I looked like I was in de-stress. The rice and beans were good. The service was good.

Google
Great service and the Mexican Philly Cheese Steak sandwich was a scrumptious mess 😋 They do a wonderful chilaquiles breakfast.

A wonderful little restaurant right at the entrance to town. Top notch service. Wonderful food. Had a three meat omelet topped with Queso, Fresh fluffy hashbrowns, and a side of Chorizo. Treat yourself to the food here if you haven't yet.

Yelp
We stopped at Juanita's kitchen after we left Pensacola this morning. The weather was horrid, thundering and lightning. We had Freckles in the car with us and it's a challenge trying to find outside eateries with your dog. I found this place on Yelp and Dave and I were starving. So he went inside and ordered two western omelets, grits and coffee to go. We happily shared the breakfast with the Freck, who hates bad weather. Thank you Juanita's for your delicious breakfast!

Yelp
Nothing fancy here, but the food was very good. I had the Huevos Mexicana from the breakfast menu. They top it with queso, which is a little different from other places, and it really blended nicely with the eggs and the diced potatoes on the plate, a nice lagniappe to everything. On the other hand, the coffee was really bad. I'm not a coffee snob so I loaded it with cream and sugar and then drank it anyway. Maybe it was just a bad pot, and it isn't always like that. The ambience is very casual. The building is small, a little old and run-down, but not dirty or unclean. There are plenty of booths and tables to sit in. It was calm when I was there but it is probably crowded and loud at peak times. The waitress told me I had just missed "the crazy breakfast rush". She and another lady were actively serving and bussing tables but they never neglected me or the other diners. They were both friendly and cheerful. My food came out quickly and was very nicely done. The restaurant is strangely located behind a gas station in a little triangle where three roads cross with each other. The parking lot and the main entrance is between, facing the convenience store. Parking wasn't a problem, but the approach could be weird depending on which direction you are coming from.

Yelp
We enjoyed Juanita's kitchen - the breakfast was delicious at a good price. This place offers nice menu choices. The waitress was great & food was served in a timely manner. The restaurant is in an older building, but it was clean and seems to be a well-run establishment. We will return.

Yelp
Very quaint and laid back restaurant! The inside is much larger than one would guess with plenty of tables. The staff were all very polite and professional. At the entrance across from the cash register is a large rack of local business cards and I found several of interest for: pet care, RV maintenance, home yard care, etc. I like a small business that supports other local small businesses! They were undergoing an inspection while I was there and I heard the inspector announce that they passes with an A+ rating! I had a veggie omelet with hash browns and it was perfect. My coffee was a tad acidic for my taste (nothing a dash of milk wouldn't care) and piping hot! Quiet atmosphere allowed me to enjoy my breakfast at my leisure. I highly recommend Jaunita's Kitchen!

Yelp
When I read Mexican restauran, I thought it would have the Mexican flavor on the food. they didn't have Horchata, or any type of Mexican juice, the steak tasted like can food. The service was good and the lady was sweet.

James F.

Yelp
Had nice omelette there last week. Wife got eggs. Both done nicely. As we were finishing up some friends took their tickets to the register to pay. They got into an argument with the waitress/ cashier and she quit. Got her purse and walked out A lady' came out of the kitchen to take their money A customer got up and refilling coffee cups Pretty fun time.

Yelp
Saturday breakfast visit...I decided stop by because of the Yelp reviews and wanted a super breakfast of a Mexican Breakfast Burrito like back in Cali. I didn't get that but instead encountered amazing service and a super delightful Saturday Breakfast Mexican Menu. Ordered the Carne Asada Steak combo - didn't ask but should have asked but could have used a citrus touch like a lime. Scrambled eggs, hash browns, and flour tortillas. I also ordered grits on the side which was amazing. All perfectly made to order and a fantastic service staff on duty on December 14, 2019. Highly recommend a visit!

Yelp
Awesome service and best foods great combination ever ! I been here years ago but never been since due to covid and now coming back, I'm happy that I had.

Yelp
This was my first time here and it has a "roadside diner" ambiance. An A health rating and other good reviews along with very reasonable pricing enticed me to choose this for dinner. I was greeted immediately and invited to sit anywhere I liked. There were about all of 12 patrons there but could be the weather keeping people in. I was served chips and salsa and a drink rather quickly. I ordered a chimichanga dinner and it was very good. The food was hot and delicious. There was also plenty of it and I ended up taking home a box. The only negative thing I witnessed was that the floor was not exactly clean. There was some debris scattered about.

Yelp
Had a great breakfast. Staff was friendly and quick. Will definitely be back. If you are in the area you should check it out.

Yelp
Good food for the area! Affordably priced. Excellent service. Can get a little busy around lunch time.

Yelp
This is probably the first Mexican spot that I actually been at and like since I moved out here. Stopped by during lunch time from work and it was actually really close by. Always drive pass it but never really had thought about coming here and eat. It was actually recommended by one of my co workers. Place isn't too big but definitely have plenty of tables for big or small groups. They have a small private parking area and two entrance to the restaurant. Went here with a big group and got seated right away. They have plenty of stuff on their menu front and back. From salads, fajitas, flautas, to burritos and their BIG BURRITOS!!!! I ordered the asada burrito and it came with some beans and rice. Burrito was covered in some white sauce not sure what it was but I know it wasn't sour cream. Everything was good only thing I didn't like was their tortillas. Was hoping for the authentic tortillas but it seems like it was those store bought tortillas from wal mart. It wasn't bad I just wish it wasn't. And a friend of mine asked for corn tortilla but they gave him some flour one. Other than that that's all the negative part. Asada was good wish it came with some stuff inside the burrito beside just the meat. Service was great and very polite! I'd recommend it to friends!

Yelp
I came through during lunch hours and it was fairly crowded but was seated right away with a smile. The restaurant is located right after you pass the Pascagoula bridge going east right behind the Exxon gas station. After looking through the menu the prices are fairly decent and they have a wide variety of combo platters and even offer breakfast as well. I went ahead and ordered and within minutes a complementary side of chips and salsa was sitting in front of me at the table. The chips were nice and warm and very crunchy while the salsa paired perfectly with the chips. I went ahead and ordered the chicken enchilada combo with rice and beans. The dish had a very home cook meal feeling to me while nothing is fancy but just felt as it was cooked in a home kitchen. The enchilada combo was nicely dressed with 3 tortillas with nicely seasoned shredded chicken rolled with a queso blanco poured on top. The rice was nicely flavored while the refried beans were as creamy as could be. I also ordered from the A la Carte menu a shredded beef taco and once I again I got that home cook feeling to it while looking at it and tasting it. It was very basic with a warm tortilla filled with shredded beef and lettuce garnished with mozzarella cheese. The flavor wasn't bad but felt like this was something I could make by myself in my home. This place serves up some home cooked meals with a great price I definitely recommend anyone to check them out if your looking for nice ambiance, service with a smile, and a home cooked meal. Ill definitely be back to try there breakfast!

Yelp
Looking for something different, but local, had to try this. First of all: Wednesday Night, where is everybody at at 6:30pm?!!! With their food so good this place should be packed during all hours. Maybe they get good traffic at lunch time, but they should have a bustling dinner crowd as well. If you like Mexican but don't want the Tex Mex, and you can't cross the border (damn Wall!!!) then Juanita's Kitchen is great for Mexican Comfort food. All the food is prepared local. No packaged, frozen fare. Yes chips, salsa, and queso. But great Chile relleno, chimichanga, and local nightly specials. Don't judge the dive. Family restaurant does good!!!

Yelp
Left Chicago in March and left our favorite taqueria which was sad. Experimented with a few taco joints and were always disappointed. Then we found Juanita's! We aren't disappointed any longer. First off their hot salsa is the best I've ever had. The taco el pastor is perfection and the chicken tinga tostada is memorable. I also had a bite of my husband's shrimp taco which was yummy as well. They also serve a great breakfast with American dishes as well. Try it, it's well worth it.

Yelp
We were in the area a few weeks and stumbled upon this place, a d we are so glad we did!!! Everything we tried was so delicious. Loved the Horchata, and we will definitely he back next time in the area.

Wendy A.

Yelp
We have eaten here for breakfast twice in one week. The food is flavorful and plentiful, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is clean. A casual and comfortable feel that allows you to relax and enjoy the morning. As a bonus, the prices are very reasonable! We haven't tried Juanitas for lunch or supper yet but plan on doing so soon. We expect the food will be as good as the breakfast. Highly recommend this little gem in Pascagoula.

Dwayne S.

Yelp
Juanita's is a new little Mexican Food restaurant! The prices are very reasonable and the food is freshly made and has that wonderful chili pepper kick to the cuisine! Christian owned and operated! Great place to take the church group!

Lisa J.

Yelp
Amazing food and amazing owners. Authentic and delicious!!! My husband loves the Big burrito and my favorite is their chicken fajitas. Salsa is the best we've had on the coast. Definitely check them out!!

Ellie M.

Yelp
This place is phenomenal. The staff is super sweet, the food is fresh and delicious, and the prices are great! I've been twice so far. The first time my lingua torta was absolutely perfect. The second time, I got my al pastor tacos customized by the cook to perfection. (Oh, and tacos are one dollar each on Tuesdays. Awesome!!) This place is a hidden gem and I hope it finds a happy place in Pascagoula's hungry hearts.

Yelp
I was just wondering if Juanita's Kitchen is planning on getting a liquor license. I'd love to enjoy a Margarita Grande, or 2, with my meal. I was also wondering if Juanita's has Tamales Excellente? I LOVE my Tamales and used to work with a guy who promised to teach me how to make them. Then, he moved to Pascagoula, opened up his own Mexican Restaurant and left me without teaching me how to make Tamales. Now, since I assume that Juanita's does not Deliver to Dauphin Island, AL, we're planning to take a Road Trip for a visit to Juanita's Kitchen. There are several of us who want to make the trip, so we may have to make a few trips to accommodate all of our schedules. But, if this guy can cook like my old friend, I KNOW we will enjoy the meals he prepares for us. P.S. We promise to behave. See you soon!

Yelp
Great service + great chips and salsa. I ordered the Adrian's Especial and it was absolutely amazing, you won't regret ordering this.

Yelp
The food was great and the service was very good. People there are friendly. My wife and I eat there every time we're in the neighborhood. I love the loco dip.
