Psst, don't tell too many. Enjoying a mid afternoon cerveza, with some of "the locals". Animated conversations, really friendly service, great decor/ atmosphere. (BTW, they only take cash.)

There’s not a lot of old historical spots but Juanito Bodega Bar is still around. I came for there pisco sour. Wound up getting a ham sandwich “jamón del país”. It did not disappoint. The waiter recommend another drink, the “chiclallo”. Next time!

Really nice spot to get a beer and some food. Lovely looking place from the inside. Nice clean bathrooms when we went. Just super chill and friendly.

This is the neighborhood bar I wish I had in my neighborhood. There is an eclectic mix of customers and workers. The age range of patrons varies from young students studying for their exams, all the way up to the retired fellow kicking back on a Wednesday afternoon with his buddies talking about old times. The sandwiches sliced up perfectly in front of your eyes are perfectly done by the old man sitting behind the counter who has been doing this job since he was just a young lad. Do yourself a favor and drop by for a cold beer, a stiff drink, and delicious deli sandwich. No frills, tons of history, and a perfect afternoon/evening spent in a local dive.
