Jubilee! Community

Love, love, love the Jubilee! community and this facility! Amy is a riot and the energy and love is flowing powerfully, right in the heart of Asheville 'one of our favorite places to be! We also enjoyed renting the space for our 2020 Vision event during New Years. Great sound man (Bob) and a great experience for us and those attending.

We attended the 2020 Vision event for New Year's eve. It was the most wonderful time we have ever had on New Year's eve. Amy sang such powerful beautiful raucous spiritual joyful songs in the most pure and powerful voice with great humor. I love Jubilee, what a great important and joyful spiritual center in Asheville. The best.

I (finally) went to Jubilee for the first time today...which is odd because our studio is on the same street. I have never felt Spirit so strong in one room before. The whole service moved me to tears. Seriously...I was crying in Love the whole time. So much Gratitude, Joy and Peace emanates from Jubilee. Never have I experienced a room filled with so many authentic beings connecting hearts with one another to the Max. There is an intense beam of energy that hugs you right when you walk in the door. It is incredibly profound. I wasn't looking for a Church and a Church found Me! So blessed to have found this Spiritual Community of Asheville. 🙏❤️

Not a church that I attend, but I'm there in the Summers for their summer Orchestra program conducted and directed by Eric Scheider. His programs are always great. Their minister is Howard hanger, is a jazz pianist, a good musician oh, and just a wonderful minister. This is not your run-of-the-mill Methodist Church.

The services and community has consistently lifted my spirits, brought me to tears, warmed my heart and brought more joy to my life. I highly recommended going to this incredibly authentic, uplifting rock'em sock'em , non-judgmental community church. It seems as if Christ, Buddha, Mayer Ba Ba and Mary Magdalene and the Blessed Mother , etc. would have all delightfully approved : )

A positive, joyful, welcoming interfaith spiritual community with a strong focus on giving to and serving the needs of our community. Upbeat weekly celebration services with a musical focus. Active charity and social justice programs.

Not a single word about Jesus our Lord and Saviour!!!! It's all about just feeling good. Feeling good doesn't get you into heaven. Relationship with our Heavenly Father is the only way.

I don't know if this place can be duplicated elsewhere, and i wonderabout this since i don't live here and yet it's obvious that it is one of my spirit's true homes. If you like seamless transitions between rock n roll references and songs, messaging, sufi chanting and honoring the 4 directions, and grabbing a Thibetan singing bowl to ring, and you like to feel connected, uplifted and inspired, then you may want to make sure you visit.

Such an awesome community! I REALLY LOVE this place. Any service I've been to has inspired me. Once I got there and it was poetry day. Ugh I thought, I don't like poetry. Then a poem by Hafiz was read- something like The Treehouse and it blew my mind! Right after the service, I walked over to Malaprops and bought the first book of poetry in my life. Little story to let you know how inspiring this place is. They really walk their talk. The services are fresh, lively and thought provoking. I leave feeling connected to Divine love and energy. No matter how I feel when I walk in, I feel better afterwards. Two weeks ago, they gave out milkweed plants after we learned about monarch butterflies. This ain't your usual church.

This is a warm, loving space for you to connect with your innate divinity. The music and the messages are joyous and uplifting. All religious upbringings are honored and many represented in the service and the congregation. You will be so glad you went! http://www.jubileecommunity.org/

You will feel something so alive here. The presence of a higher power- however you interpret it-with huge outpourings of spirit, creativity, joy. And yeah, probably more connected with the community in that building than in any other "church" of your lifetime. Ok to be whoever you are. And the spiritual leader Howard Hanger wears socks that don't match! Go find out how unique this collection of souls really is!

What an awesome and open community! Casual and welcoming Sunday services (9:45 & 11:15) and neat events through out the week. It is not intimidating to come in as a newcomer. It's just as easy to socialize with new folks as it is to sit and watch everyone else socialize. Great for extroverts and introverts alike! Beautiful spot that is true to its mission.

Jubilee! is a faith minded community of open and interesting people. Nothing here is typical, but it's pretty cool. You'll get a hug and hold hands with a neighbor.

love this church. We moved to Asheville for 6 months just to experience this unique community. I always leave feeling spiritually nourished & refreshed, and encouraged to lead a life of service & peace. Isn't that what church should be all about?

A loving, spiritual community. Non traditional in the sense that it embraces MANY traditions. Beautiful music, dance and a sense of harmony. I enjoy being rejuvenated here.
