I absolutely adore this shop. I've grown up in the area and am so happy to see Jubilee still thriving! They offer such cute clothing options at various price points. You can definitely find some quite affordable things that is great quality! Some of my favorite pieces have been purchased here. The space itself is lovely and a feast for the eyes. Very colorful and welcoming! They also sell cheery home goods as well as fun gift items. Today I had a blast utilizing their "hat bar". I had not realized they even offered this service! I was able to pick some hats and then pick out feathers and trinkets to decorate them with. Best part, it's all interchangeable! You can also choose to put a branding on them, if you'd like. Every time I go, the customer service is also top notch. Everybody is so sweet and helpful. Shannon assisted me with choosing out my hats and accessories today, and I am so grateful for her assistance! Now that I'm home and looking at them, I am absolutely thrilled! I wholeheartedly recommend visiting for a nice and fun experience. Definitely check out some of the other shops on 19th St. as well! It makes for a good afternoon experience with a lot of fun stuff to look at.

I Absolutely am hooked on Jubilee boutique fabulous decor & clothing apparel . Unique novelty gifts /etc. I own 2 Antique Shop’s in Galveston Texas. Jessica was awesome so we’re all the other ladies sweet employees great customer service I recently purchased large chandelier for my antique store from Jubilee and too many prisms and chandeliers also . I’ll show the before and after. Very very pleased. I strongly recommend this boutique Jubilee wins Hands down. Most unique boutique. With all ur merchandise needs. ✅ and wants.

I love Jubilee! I'm in Houston once or twice a year & always try to visit! It's a candy store for grown-ups! Visually a treat; color, texture & sparkle everywhere! Housewares gifts, and always something for yourself! The ladies working here were very friendly & helpful. A very unique boutique!

I've been hooked on boutiques for years, and didn't think any boutiques in Houston would ever top Paula Fridkin's old boutique on West Gray. But thankfully, Jubilee has become a favorite go to boutique for me. What really sets this boutique apart from most others is the variety, thoughtful/open minded curation and the good, positive vibes in the store. The selection offers something for everyone, whether your interest is in home decor, apparel, jewelry, kitschy items, etc. I find the price points to be accessible, and even the unique clothing is often reasonably priced. The most expensive clothing item I've gotten from here, which was a birthday gift of a green silky blouse ($80), looked well tailored with wonderful fabric. I've always found the service here to be good, but I prefer to just wander around the store and shop on my own. Overall, I would highly recommend Jubilee. It's one of the coolest businesses on 19th Street (and The Heights in general), for sure.

Jubilee is the most interesting and fun store for ladies in Houston! It's in the old Heights neighborhood, near the iconic Yale Grill (the 75 year + old drug store with old fashioned soda fountain breakfast/lunch stop. Go by Yale Grill after lunch and shopping in the Heights for an old fashioned malt, chocolate soda or cherry limeade. Anyway, Jubilee has the cutest kitchen towels, purses, jewelry, greeting cards, decorative housewares and very unique funky clothes! Great for girly western wear and unique gifts. I have led ladies groups here for a shopping and lunch trip. They have White Linen Night in August with specials and street band, etc. Everyone wore white. There are also several other cool stores in same street, one in old theater , another with lots of antique booths and a cafe. Other lunch places are on 19th, Yale, 20th and Shepherd. No matter if I needed it or not, I always find something at Jubilee that makes me smile long afterward! Check it out!

A boutique on 19th street worth taking a look around in . Celtic mix of tea towels , clothing , cards and conversation pieces .? The clothes seem to be for curvy women. The conversation pieces rock n roll with cow punk bent. Street parking. Coffee house and antique mall a short walk away. . A nice browse on strip designed to be walked and shopped.

Such a cute shop in the Heights! The store is packed with fun things to look at. There's a really diverse selection of clothes, most of them kind of western style. A lot of studs, bright colors, and animal print. I think this is just a really fun take on a cowgirl chic look. A lot of prices were super reasonable, some things were on the higher end. I thought pricing was really fair for what they offered! They also have a lot of inclusive sizing which is nice. There were tons of accessories, and potential gifts. Just a fun store with a lot to see.

Total 1 star place. This business doesn't care for the people that live across the street. Too LOUD garbage music that can easily be heard on the upper floors. They are people that need to get to sleep and relax in quiet enjoyment but this place doesn't care. I don't go shoving a boombox with my music genre out, let they are doing tonight. Plus, This business has a very dirty roof. Other rooftops of nearby business are clean, but this is all grimey and black and nasty looking. 1 Star for everything.

Fun and colorful. Well-curated selection of quirky clothes, accessories, gifts, and more. Great selection of unique socks. Cool Texas items sold here if you're looking for a gift/souvenir. Bought a cute baby onesie that says "Made in Texas." A little on the pricier side. Socks were $14.00 per pair. A unique shop to check out if you're on 19th street.

I was searching for an orange & blue sequin jacket & was directed to go to Jubilee. I pass he store all the time because I frequent the credit union that is down the street but never noticed. It is indeed a hidden gem. This store is so cute, quaint & has some very unique items. I didn't find the size in the jacket that I was looking for but my name, size needed & phone number were taken down to be notified if it becomes available. All of the employees were very helpful.

It's just the perfect gift store in the Heights, quirky and homey at the same time. Their clothing is adorable and comfy and they have Effies Heart dresses which are mostly cotton and fit well and very flattering! I picked up the blue pomegranate dress today and wore it out love the pockets. You can buy a gift for anybody here, including the men in your life! T shirts and funky socks galore. Be careful if you stay too long because you are apt up pick up a gift for them, a gift for you, a gift for them, a gift for you... Highly recommended and staff are very helpful.

My wife drags me into here! Yikes! If the weather is not too bad, I like to sit on the bench on the front and just people watch. Actually though, there are some cool things for men to look at too. There are always new things to look at, so many unique and nice items that I haven't seen anywhere else.

I didn't buy anything but this reminded my of one of my favorite places to gift shop in Austin. We had little time (getting to a reservation) but I would shop here! I'm kind of regretting not getting my friend a coaster I think she would like. Guess I'll have to go back to Houston. Perfect place to shop for that person who has everything. You'll definitely find something for almost everyone here. And if not, maybe get friends with better taste.

What a cute shop! My first time venturing down 19th street, and Jubilee was definitely my favorite stop to pop into. A great selection of women's clothing and unique gifts for family and friends.

I love JUBILEE. Great store with a fantastic selection of interesting items. They have interesting stuff. They are dog-friendly, which gets my vote, and my business, plus, they have a nice bench outside for husbands to wait! The stock is rotated out with various seasons and every employee seems to be so friendly, especially the one who has colored hair that rides a scooter. If you are looking for a special gift for male, female, pet, youth, brides, etc etc, this is your place. And, they have a discount rack with 50% and 75% off of items.

So much fun shopping at this neat store in the Heights. They always have interesting things and keep seasonal items so you will always find new things. I was shopping on 19th last month and they even had a band playing! I bought a hat for an upcoming Kentucky Derby party. I will be back soon for sure.

ive been coming to jubilee since 2010...it's one of my top 3 local boutiques in houston...today was valentines day...and i drove in from galveston to have a girls day out. jubilee has grown in size since ive last been...it has more to offer too. prices vary from cheap to expensive. there is really cute cup towels and tops..corral boots, great wigs for festive activities, etc... my haul today was a pair of blue q socks, "queen of bitch mountain!!!" cute white beaded bracelet and a black lace "wishlist" bralette. they stayed open late and celebrated valentines for the girls...called galentines...with balloons and hearts everywhere. 15% off any item. they served wine, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and candy...it was fun support local buy local

This is the cutest hidden gem in the heights! I walked in and was totally in amazement/shock! It reminded me of a quirky beautiful World Market feel but in its own unique way! They have lots of cute random Knick knacks and clothing and purses for the hipster at heart. Super cute spot!

Cute. Cute. Cute. This store is a girly, girly, girly. They've undergone a new layout, and I really like it. Before, it was filled with bright pink colors and partions here and there; but now with a lighter color scheme and different layout, it *really* opens things up and browsing through all their amazing items makes my visit that much more enjoyable. So, what will you ladies find? Clothing, home furnishings, art, jewelry, hair accessories, candles, gifts ... anything and everything girly. For those gals gearing up for the Rodeo season, head to Jubilee NOW. They have an amazing selection of glammed up Rodeo and western wear but with BLING, colors, fringe, modern designs ... and I love all their Old Gringo and Corral boots. Some things are far more overpriced than what you'd find elsewhere (online, big department stores), but this is a local store, and I like to support them. They also have a sales area. Return/Echange Policy: No returns, just exchanges within 2 weeks.

If you're in the area- take a sec n stop in and check it out! I went there yesterday just to walk around 18th Street since I was in the area. They have cute shirts, jewelry, gifts and knick knacks for all of your girlfriends. I walked out with a Dolly Parton shirt. Some items are overpriced but that's how it is in specialty boutiques. The sales people were all helpful and courteous. Checkout was swift. I wish y'all were closer!

Absolutely my favorite store in Houston! I come here twice a year. They have the best collections the best service the best help. It's like coming to visit friends and shop for beautiful things! Every third Thursday they have a Sip & Stroll. Exceptional taste! If you love clothes and Home Decor you have to come here! Everyone is wonderful. You could ask for Carolina, Marley or Emily. They would be more than happy to help. They have everything for every season and every occasion so stop by you'll love it. Enjoy!

This great little neighborhood boutique offers trendy and eclectic accessories for ladies. Located in the heart of the Heights on 19th street, this place is packed with greats finds. Today the store featured an extra 25% off all Halloween items. So I indulged in a pair of skeleton hand earrings to wear to work on the big day. Aside from the seasonal items, there is a very good selection of greeting cards. These aren't the traditional cards but those one-of-a-kind cards that have that little "extra" that catches your eye. There is no parking lot so I parked around the corner and walked. Today it was not crowded so it was no problem. But those familiar with the neighborhood know parking can be tough on busy days.

If you are looking for an eclectic gift, an adorable outfit, a piece of decor for your home, or a greeting card that is sure to make someone laugh, this is your place! However, if you are looking for a place to shop in which you will be asked how you are or seeking help with a decision or a question, do not go here. Their customer service is lacking and that may even be an understatement. I go here at least once, maybe twice, a month and the last few times I've been in the store I've felt that I'm nothing but a nuisance to every staff member on the clock. Hopefully things will change.

Shopping here was a good experience. They truly have a wide range of clothing sizes, which is a refreshing change. I found on-trend distressed jeans and a casual tie-dye dress, both very reasonably priced. Not all the clothing items come in all sizes but many different sizes are represented throughout the store. Cute shoes, decor, and spa/relaxation items. I will return next time I'm in town.

I am from out of town, my brother lives here in the heights and I was in for Thanksgiving weekend. I like to shop at stores that appreciate me and I felt they didn't. I had nobody said hello or asked if I needed help very disappointing! I also noticed that they said they carried Another Love brand exclusively and when I come in town I also stop by Lucy's Boutique and Gifts which they carry Another Love . I have shopped here for many years but I just feel they are not what they used to be.

I don't know how this place is called Jubilee when the lady at the front desk is so rude to and uninterested in her customers.

I have bought so many great things here throughout the years. Many dresses that I get compliments on every time I wear them! They have adorable greeting cards, great candles, and eclectic home decor. FYI - If you are a tiny size 24 - 27 waist, the jeans can be marked down drastically, because the store ends up with an excess in these sizes. Be aware that most of their jewelry is bought on Harwin and then marked up.

I loved this place! They always have cute items that are reasonably priced. I also like how the store has little themes throughout so you could easily throw a little theme party. They always have unique items. I kind of think of it like a brick-and-mortar version of etsy. I know this might sound too important to some of you, but I also really like their sizable dressing rooms. They're comfy and I like the fact that I don't have to come out of the room to actually see what I'm trying on. That comes in handy when you came in wearing a dress and you're trying on a top. P.S. They have a great selection of same-sex wedding/engagement cards.

Love this little gift and clothing store gem in The Heights! It is a few doors down from Manready Mercantile, and they just such a fun variety of bath products, clothing, jewelry, home accessories/furniture, and greeting cards. I bought some locally-made candles for my friend's birthday which she loved, and I got some fun socks for my friends and me. Check out their hilarious sock collection!

If you need cute cards, gifts, housewares or boutique clothing; this is the place! Their prices can sometimes be quite expensive, but they have some reasonable items also. The staff is always very friendly and helpful!

What a wonderful find! I was looking for a boutique to do some Christmas shopping when I stumbled on Jubilee and found everything I needed (and more)! The staff is sweet and helpful. I miss shopping at brick and mortar places like this. Their clothes and gifts are fun and unique. It's probably not to everyone's taste, but I think they have a great variety of options and oddities. My favorite place to shop. This has boutique style but has prices in all ranges. They go from very reasonable pricing to higher end. They also carry a large range of sizes. I really enjoy shopping here. An mix of fashion and home decor. Great mix of colors and sizes for all gals from teens to over 50. No lady is left out!! Prices are decent . You could get a full outfit with shoes for $100.00. Accessories added will put you at $175.00. Always have items for Houston and Heights events. Think White Linen nights and Rodeo. decor side has some great pieces and nice selection of candles. You can also get gag gifts and baby items too! Great place to find a unique birthday or get well card.

This lovely clothing/gift store is filled with charming unique feminine clothes on one half, and cute rather rustic home decor items on the other. It has that small tourist town feel, hearkening back to the day of the independent boutique. If you want to get away from the chain stores with the same old clothes, jewelry and gifts, this might be a good choice. The home decor/gift side is filled with more rustic selections of wall sconces, pickled pine items, serving dishes. candles, soaps, etc. Thrown in are some costume jewelry pieces that could be a bit more unique. That being said, as an avid shopper, I found the prices a bit high, and some of the goods the same as I'd seen at craft shows like the Nutcracker Market, or Gem and Jewelry Show. Unfortunately, they were priced more like the former, not the latter. If you like the type of clothing with a trendy peasant romantic flair, (think Marrikka Nakk knockoff), or sweater tunic/legging combos, this is the place for you.

I absolutely love this place. It reminds me of when I was a kid and I'd go to Old Town Springs with my mother and just spend hours looking at all of the cute little boutiques. As soon as you walk into this store, you'll notice first of all how great it smells. They have many different options of candles. They also have decor for your home...cute pillows, throws, tables, furniture, paintings, etc. Then there is the clothing section. It is ridiculously cute stuff. And for all of my "curvy lady" friends, they have plus size! I don't mean like when they say XL and it's still really a large, but clothes that I could wear. At it was very decently priced. Tops ranged from 20-40 just depending on the style. There is an abundance of cute jewelry, and Bamboo sandals and cute rain boots. Upstairs you'll find all your cooking and kitchen needs. Some things are really novel, and some things are things you never knew you wanted! I can't wait to go back when I have some extra money for shopping because I could blow a whole paycheck in this place and never regret it.

I grew up coming to Jubilee for all things unique and snazzy. I still pop in here from time to time to peruse their latest and greatest, however, I rarely make a non-clearance purchase. Why? I am glad you asked! Has anyone ever heard of Harwin? I will tell you I coveted an adorable earring set here which I deemed to cost a bit more than it was worth, so I abstained for a couple of months, checking back to see if the cost had gone down. Alas, no luck. One day, an out of town friend of mine requested a perfunctory tour of Harwin because she had heard so much about it (as a Houstonian I rarely ever went myself). The very first store we visited had a TON of jewelry, and what did I find? THE EXACT SAME EARRINGS (same card and everything). Except, (except except except!) they were 3.99, and came with a matching ring. What a sucker would I have been to buy that same set of earrings (without the ring) for $25.99? Riddle me that! I find the same to be true with their shoes and handbags, and even, sporadically, their clothing. Long story short, Jubilee is ADORABLE and it holds a special place in my heart. If you are looking for fun stationery, candles, books, and odds and ends, you should definitely check it out - just don't be naive about it.

This is the place to find that "great gift for females." I have yet to find the male equivalent, does such a place exist? Candles, incense, cheese knives, clothes, dingle-dangles, really cute luggage tags, jewelry, and sunglasses. It covers: cute, frou frou, kitsch, irreverent, and cheesy as hell mid-western housewife. They have the best votives ($3). Roughly 2' squares, Very fragrant. The upstairs is awesome. Furniture and home gifts. I've never bought any of their furniture; I have gotten inspired for my own art projects. Refinished dressers, chests, tables. Not that their furniture is really expensive, it just gives me an agenda at the junk/antique shops that I usually hit in the area.

How do I love Jubilee? Let me count the ways... one cupcake, two cupcakes, three cupcakes... This place is the absolute bomb. A wonderful place to gift shop (if you're shopping for a woman, that is) Wonderfully scented candles and soaps that are shaped like cupcakes. At Christmastime, they have a cupcake-theme tree! I wanted the whole thing. Cool plates and kitchen-y gifts. A set of candles that look exactly six like giant, crumbly muffins with a wick coming out of them and loaded into a baking pan! They have funky cards and gift-wrapping, and funky.bejeweled handbags, hair accessories...everything! At the back of the store they have cute, bright, sometimes affordable clothes. Love this place!

I just picked up some nice birthday gifts for a friend. If you are looking for some nice quality soaps or maybe some small gifts this place looked nice to shop at.I liked the staff they were friendly and around to help if needed. The shop looked organized and clean and full of items that could catch your eye. I would shop here again and some items looked a little over price. I can understand marking up some items to cover the cost. I would say you could get about half the items in the store off of amazon. All in all if your trying to get out of the house and look around for gifts this might make your list.

Seriously more than triple keyed, but if you don't know what that is, shop away. Expanded space, the economy is looking up. Charmin Charlie, Harwin, all the same stuff, could not find USA made, why do we continue to support China? Jubliee is not high end, quality attire, ladled with Formaldehyde "a chemical that produces wrinkle-free clothing". The chemical triggered severe symptoms, and had to leave, good to know if you have this allergic reaction. Ventilation is needed. Caters to the 12-20+ age group. For those newlywed and nearly dead, hmmm, some cute sales items, for the petite woman this is a keeper, retro to the max! An Anthropologie wannabe, ez on the plastic, not closet staples. Halloween decor 2 clever. Staff friendly but at 5:30 someone is running around turning all the lights off, they close at 6:00, seems someone was ready for the day to end! The same purse (knock-off of a $35k handbag) was for for sale in this store and 4 other stores in the Heights, all different price points. Security screen on steroids at checkout counter. BTW, if you shoplift, stay out of here, shrinkage kills, small and big stores.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Jubilee! Great place to find a fun gift- from cute & unique jewelry to quirky novelty gifts, you're sure to find something that works for anyone. The clothes are super cute and reasonably priced (top ~ $30-60, dress ~ $40-80). Don't waste your time (and money) shopping the malls for something special to wear; head straight over to Jubilee! I challenge you to leave that store empty handed... its THAT great. :)

Clever gifts, unusual souvenirs, great shopping If you can't find something cute at in this shop you really aren't trying. Fun neighborhood (lots of other great shops) and lots of Texas-themed items.

The only problem with Jubilee is I have so much fun when I go there, I end up shocked at the bill when they ring me up. The upside is there are so many interesting, reasonably priced things to buy! I purchased a $10 bracelet there about a year ago, and every single time I wear it I get compliments. Everywhere you look there's potential for gift-giving, whether it's for a birthday, baby shower, bachelorette party, or even...yes, it's true....a guy! They do an excellent job of dividing the store up into areas with different themes. You want animal print, it's over there on the left. You want pirate booty, look on that shelf on the right. Girly stuff, look no further than right by the door. Make sure to explore all the nooks and crannies - just when you think you've seen it all, you see something else you want to snap up.

What was supposed to be National Pie Day in the Heights turned into a shopping day at the Jubilee, go figure! OMG ladies, this store is so cute!! They sell so many adorable things from antique furniture, to women's clothing and accessories, to kitchen goods and cookbooks. I had to really refrain myself from going bananas! This is a wonderful store if you're in need of that unique gift for the females in your life. Sorry guys, no lingerie here. If you're interested in their clothes, one thing to note, their sizes do run small. For their tops and dresses, the size ranged from S to XL. I typically wear an XS from Gap and Banana Republic but the S fit me perfectly here. They also have a sale rack in the back where everything is 50% off regular price.

I purchased a tin artichoke here. Need I say more? Suffice to say that this place is tres cool. It's got a lot of kitschy product crammed into its shelves and the upstairs room has reasonably priced furniture pieces. Nice staff and a very friendly store cat who desperately needs surgery, so donate your extra dollars in their kitty-jar at the register.
