Judita Palace Heritage Hotel

From the moment Andy met us at the edge of the pedestrian area to help with our bags and walk us a short distance to the hotel entrance, we knew we were in for something special! The staff here are all wonderful and so helpful - especially Andy and Carla! We got some great recommendations for restaurants in Split and Carla called up and made the reservations for us. Our 2 rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had a lovely balcony. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. The location is absoulutly perfect - close to everything you want to explore in the Old Town. We felt very pampered here and would absolutly stay here again when in Split!

My husband and I loved our stay at Judita Palace! Our room overlooked the “people’s square” and I loved that it was located in historic old town. The windows were sound proof so no difficulty at all sleeping with the hub bub of the city below. Andy helped us to the hotel with our luggage and our stay was made even better with his good humor and the hospitality shown to us by him, Carla, and the rest of the staff! Honestly felt like a home away from home. As this is a UNESCO heritage site, there was no parking on the property but the hotel did provide us with a parking spot that was a short go kart ride to the hotel. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely love the staff here. Always welcomed with a warm smile from Carla and an offer for coffee or wine. The staff is extremely welcoming. Andy takes your bags up to your room so you don’t have to haul them up the stairs, which in my case was about 70 pounds. Can’t say enough nice things about the hotel or the team that work here. ||The rooms are gorgeous, spacious with a small fridge, excellent air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and a nice sized bathroom. The soaps and lotions offered are high quality citrus smelling L’Occitane. ||As you walk in, you’re going through an adorable little bar that has delicious cocktails and feels like you are joining friends in their courtyard for a summer evening. The bar does not offer a full menu, only snacks. ||They have a nice variety of food for breakfast. They make the eggs fresh whether you want scrambled, an omelette or fried. They offer all kinds of toppings for the eggs, such as cheese, ham, mushrooms or Avocado which our friend Andy calls “green butter”. The coffee they make for breakfast is yummy. There are several options for coffee espresso, latte, cappuccino or black. ||The hotel is centrally, located in the heart of the old town, Diocletian palace location. We found out that the hotel itself is part of the servants, quarters for the original palace. It’s next-door to many shops and delicious restaurants. The receptionist provides excellent recommendations for food and for the best ATMs to use if needed. The opera center is close enough that you are serenade at night. ||We went for a day trip in which we left at 6 AM. Kresimir (Chris) pre-packed a breakfast of granola bars, nuts, fruit and waters. Was so lovely of him to take such good care of us so we could make it thru the full day at the national park without passing out. ||Upon exit, patrons are threatened within an inch of their life not to take their luggage. “Leave the luggage in your room or it will be destroyed for security reasons”. They have a smooth system and we love the humor used to emphasize the importance of allowing the team to handle the luggage. ||We have been here twice already and intend to be repeat offenders! Highly recommended! Love it ♥️♥️

The entire stay was more than perfect!!!! The staff was absolutely amazing--big thanks to Andy, Chris, Carla, Maria, and Mariana for making our 3 night stay the most memorable experience ever! The room was so spacious, with an incredibly comfortable bed, sofa, desk and massive bathroom. Incredible clean. Breakfast was remarkable, with a variety of bread, pastries, cheeses, meats, every fruit you can imagine, plus made-to-order omelets. The location can't be beat; you're right in the heart of Old Town, right at the Diocletian Palace. And the hotel bar is in an outdoor patio just beautiful in the evenings. We have traveled alot and this hotel is by far, one of the most lovely experiences ever! Well worth the splurge to stay here!

This hotel has to be among the best in all of split. Andy runs the show with great humor and service, making every guests visit enjoyable. The staff here goes above and beyond in helping guests, solve any issues or problems that might exist, really setting this hotel apart from any others that are out there. The free wine check-in was fantastic and there is a cool little bar downstairs that is extremely popular. Cannot say enough good things about this jam right in the heart of old town.

Absolutely incredible hotel in every way possible! Particularly the service and location were unbeatable. The decor, vibe, cleanliness, bed comfort, and breakfast were also amazing!!! Could not have had a better experience. Amazing staff/customer service!

This boutique hotel offers an amazing location in “The People’s Square” as well as first class service. Communication with the hotel prior to our visit was very timely and arrangements were easily made for pickup and transfers to the ferry. We found the front desk staff, breakfast crew and bar tenders to go above and beyond the norm. Andy…you are so joyful, funny and helpful! You made our stay memorable! Did I mention the rooms? They were lovely, elegant, clean and comfy. I left my glasses in the room and Marija made sure they were on the ferry to Hvar the next morning. There was no detail left undone, and all the charm and service we could have asked for was delivered. What a delightful stay in Split!

5 stars plus. Everything about Judita Palace is perfect. Andy and Carla are special people who go out of their way to be helpful. The hotel is so well managed. Beautiful, spotless, charming rooms. Great ambiance. Very good breakfast and delicious coffee! Look no further for a fantastic stay in Split. Excellent location.
