Judita Palace Heritage Hotel

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in the center of historic Split. The staff at this hotel is unmatched in kindness, helpfulness, sincerity, and hospitality. The room we had was absolutely amazing and the views were so unique. The bar downstairs in an open courtyard was perfect to grab a drink. Special shout out to Andy who was the most gracious host and so kind and funny. He and my husband ended up having the same birthday!! Another special shout out to Kris (Chris?) who helped us find a screwdriver to put together a child's toy. Would 100000% return!

My husband and I stayed at the Judita for 3 nights in October 2026. This was part or a trip for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was wonderful and centrally located. The room and common spaces were nicely appointed and clean. For two people the room was a nice size. Our room faced the bell tower in the square so we were worried about the noise, but there was no reason to worry. With the windows closed we did not hear the bells. |The continental breakfast in the morning was a little smaller than some of the other places we stayed during our trip, but the food was very good. They also offered eggs for order.|The staff at both reception and breakfast were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, welcoming, and helpful. |I would highly recommend a stay here.||One small thing to note - The balcony in our room was very small. Barely big enough for one person to stand on. This did not detract from our stay in the least but others may find it helpful.

Great hotel with an even better staff. Hotel is in a perfect location close to restaurants and attractions and has a really nice gated courtyard bar.||We had a 6:30 am flight and the hotel was great in helping us. They helped us reserve an Uber, packed us a breakfast to go and even helped us get our bags to the uber stop. We appreciated this and thought they went well beyond our expectations!||If you are a runner this is a good spot. Only a few blocks from the waterfront where I was easily able to get in a nice run.

Comfortable, welcoming city stay. Friendly and attentive staff. Rooms modern and clean with touches of authenticity to the area. The setting is great, easy walking distance to the tourist areas and shops with a lovely bar. Free breakfast was a bonus as well as the free transfer to the ferry. Would highly recommend here as a place to stay.

Judita Palace brims with quality and sincere service. It’s in a pedestrian part of the old Diocletian area on a wonderful plaza with lots of action. Hotel staff is attentive, self initiative, and entertaining. We were met at the drop off from a limo service and escorted to the hotel. High quality rooms (we stayed twice in a week going to and from Hvar. Breakfast was a highlight. Great personalized service. Assistance with airport and ferry transfers, connecting with another family member in a nearby hotel, dealing with health care issues, and more. We were treated like family. What a great place to stay!

We had an amazing stay at Judita Palace Heritage Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. A special thanks to Carla (receptionist), who was incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Andy and the rest of the staff were equally outstanding—professional, friendly, and committed to making our stay comfortable and memorable. The service here is truly excellent, and you can feel the personal touch in everything they do. We left with such a positive impression and would highly recommend Judita Palace to anyone visiting Split.

First, there is a reason why Andy’s name is mentioned in so many ratings. I would hypothesize that Andy is the soul of the Judith and a welcome introduction into Croatian culture and the dark comedic genius of his people. The staff are fantastic. The rooms are elegant. The morning breakfast not be missed, and be ready to have eggs (that is important to them). The courtyard entrance and bar is a jewel.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Our driver called ahead and they met us outside the old city gate and helped carrying our suitcases on the short walk to the hotel. When we went to Hvar after the stay, they arranged shirt golf cart ride for us to go to the ferry terminal. Breakfast is delicious and beautifully presented. Room is quiet even though facing a popular square. It rained when we were there, and Split is bigger, more crowded and less charming than some smaller places we visited. But this hotel made up for some of Split’s shortcomings.
