Great Hotel and service. Very close to Pilgrimgasse train/metro line (1 min walk) whoch connects easily to all the other stations and 3-4 mins walk to the bus stand. Perfect location in the city centre. We had our stay again with them after a gap of 2 days so we were easily able to store our luggage with then during this time for free. The rooms were nice and they also provided for extra things we required like iron and the iron board. The staff was nice and quick to solve your issues. Completely happy with Jufa hotel ananas in Vienna.

Pleasant and well-equipped hotel close to the city center. The terrace offers lovely views of the castle, and the breakfast was excellent with a nice atmosphere throughout the hotel. The only minor issue was the bed being quite firm, though this might be a matter of personal preference. However, I was disappointed with the dinner options - we ordered pizza which was clearly frozen, which seems inappropriate for a hotel of this standard. Despite this letdown with the evening meal, the overall impression was great and I would still recommend the hotel.

I’ve never sat down to write a review so fast, and that’s a good thing! The location of JUFA Hotel in Salzburg is just perfect — close to the center, yet tucked away in a peaceful green area that makes you feel like you’re on a retreat. You even get a beautiful view of the castle! The hotel has a 24-hour bar and a cozy lounge area where you can enjoy your drink any time, even in the middle of the night — a rare and awesome perk. The staff were all incredibly friendly, with a special shoutout to the amazing reception team. The rooms were not only beautiful but also spotless — super clean and well taken care of. Honestly, this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve traveled a lot and seen many. If I ever return to Salzburg, this is 100% where I’m staying again — no question about it. Only one tiny suggestion: I wish the rooms came with slippers. It’s such a small, inexpensive thing, but in today’s travel culture, it’s really helpful, especially when we try to pack light. Still, this is a full 5/5 for me — from the location and relaxing vibe to the breakfast, which was amazing with so many options. Definitely book with breakfast included — it’s a must! Highly recommend this place.

Our family (two parents and two adult children) stayed in this hotel for six nights at the end of June.|Firstly, when we first entered the assigned room, we quickly realized that it was not at all what we saw as a description on the hotel’s web site and one well-known travel agency, through which we did the booking. The description said that the room would be around 40 square meters and would include a large double bed and a bunk bed. Instead, we saw a room, which was around half the size with a large double bed and a (narrow) sofa bed. We strongly believe that the number of rooms for the first description in this hotel is actually very limited (maybe only 3-4), which means that the hotel is actually providing potential guests with clearly false information. |I demanded a room in accordance with the description and received an answer that none were available. I felt that the hotel staff is hearing this complaint regularly. They offered us an ‘upgrade’ to a suite, which was more of a joke. Yes, it included two small rooms, still below 40 sq m, but with a large double bed and a sofa bed. There was really limited space around the bed and the unfoldeded sofa. There was space only for one suitcase (for 4 persons?), so we had to place the second one next to the door, while blocking our exit in case of emergency. |We were eventually offered a room based on a promised description for the following night, but that meant that we had to wake up at 5.30 (as we had to leave at 7.30 on a timed activity), pack all of our things and then unpack again after coming at around 21.00 in the evening. |We received a new room and stayed there for 5 nights. |We did not want daily cleaning, so we requested a cleaning for only one day. Imagine our surprise, when we arrived in the evening, when we found the door of our room unlocked. I guess the cleaning person did not check that the door was locked. We checked our most valuable belongings and nothing went missing, so we just had a thorough discussion with the reception person the next morning. When leaving the next morning, we checked the door 3 times by 3 different persons. There was also a Do not disturb sign, which we left. Imagine our distress, when we found the door unlocked again, when we arrived in the evening. Nothing happened to our possessions. We stayed for 2 more nights, but no similar incidents occurred. |One of the reasons we booked this hotel was the presence of air conditioning. However, the flow of air even on the maximum setting was not sufficient for us (it was really hot outside, but it should not be the reason). Eventually we ended up opening the window.|The bathroom was reasonable with good water pressure. As the room can accommodate four persons, it would be helpful to have four hangers for the drying of towels.|The choice of foods for breakfast was OK, but it could be better. Marking for the foods would be helpful. However, the major problem was the size of the plates, where the food was located. They were clearly too small, so the food was ending regularly and was not refilled properly. So we tried to come to breakfast as early as possible (before large school groups), so we can get some fruits and something sweet. |The hotel promised a large parking lot (extra charge), but on the weekends we had problems finding parking as all places were taken. Eventually we parked outside of legal parking spots, but not to block other guests.|The hotel is located some 15 minutes walk from the Salzburg center with many different restaurant options. This was a big plus for us and allowed us to try different cuisines almost every evening. |Overall, this stay was a major disappointment for us. We would not recommend this hotel for any guests.

The hotel has a good location close to the city but avoiding traffic jam to reach it from highway.|There is a wide parking just in front.|The lounge is pleasant and visited by clients.|I had only breakfast which is a good for the hotel level.|I was expecting maybe a better room.. not so big, not completed renewed (only bathroom - which very small). Anyhow clean.

The hotel design and facilities were lovely and very family friendly. Our kids preferred the play area to sightseeing! The laundry service was fabulous. The daily breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Ordering cooked to order items was confusing, However, all other services were lacking. Our rooms were refreshed one day, but garbage was not emptied, even in the room with the baby bed that had dirty diapers. Check-in was a total nightmare that took 90 minutes for 3 rooms that had been booked for months. Front desk and in room electronics didn’t work. Restaurant and bar service was confusing and slow. Most of the servers were friendly, but not on top of serving. We had to seek them out if we needed anything. Great facility but service was very lacking.

Great hotel in a quiet neighborhood close to old town. Lovely rooms, great air conditioning, great breakfast and close to public transportation |(Buses). We had a lovely stay and would go back again.

Google
It was a total surprise. The location is very handy, super close to the centre with wonderful views and gardens. I was owed by the kindness of the staff, and we felt very welcome and comfortable. The breakfast is good and varies, and also for us vegetarians. We enjoyed nice warm weather for which you probably wish a pool, but just sitting by the garden with a nice shade and drink was also a joy.

Yelp
The sign says "hotel" but it should really be called a hostel. I'm under the impression that this was a recent rebrand. The rooms are snug as a bug in a rug. In our double room there wasn't a place lay the suitcase down other than on the bed. She's a basic and no frills place that is tucked away from old town (approx 20 minute walk). For the price, it's not bad, but she is needing some basic upkeep to keep it looking nice.

Yelp
(Summer?) Rate $220. NOT close to old town. 19 minutes walking, 16 by bus is estimated. Its in suburb looking area. NO restaurants nearby. I saw no staff in their 24hour cafe. Walking to bridge is too far, path is not straight, ie left/right, left/right, no bus goes there, saw many people waiting 4 taxi in lobby. Very small room for 1 person. Shower Very tiny, hard to completely close. Customers were very old people, including groups. No young/tourists. No view. This is like those tiny freeway hotels in europe. It says this was a dorm.

Yelp
Not bad. Pros: Free wifi, linen, towel, breakfast. Breakfast was good. Not need to bring linen at check-out. I was at 8 female room (but partially separated half; 4 and 4). At my side, 2nd night was only me (other side was 2). not full. meaning it was quiet. Desk and chairs in the room, and internet works in the room. No password. Cons: Far from Salzburg central station (Hbf). 30+ students (elementary or middle school) stayed, so it was noisy at breakfast time.

Yelp
JUFA Salzburg is one of a chain of " budget hotels" in and around Austria and Germany. It was clean, had an excellent location central to the shops and major city sights. However, JUFA definitely has hostel tendencies--austere rooms, twin sized beds with an occasional bunk, lockers in some of the rooms, no amenities or toiletries. However, they do serve a complimentary breakfast (nothing fancy, typical Euro breakfast with rolls/cheese/salami/fruit/etc) and also have a food counter/cafe for late night snacking--very important for the jet-lagged. My only real complaint about this place is that the wifi only works in the lobby and you need to request a username and login from the front desk. Pro tip: only 1 username/password for wifi per device. We stayed in the hotel part of JUFA, and the people we were travelling with stayed in the field house. We really didn't see much of a difference at all, aside from the layout of the rooms. One luxury that I did notice was that our room in the hotel part came with towel warmers in the bathroom. Why don't more places have these!? All of the people at the front desk were very kind and had good suggestions on what see and where to eat. They also have a couple electric bikes that you can rent for EU 1.50/hr. I highly recommend it--everyone in Salzburg bikes and it is a great way to get around town.

Yelp
Near the City of Salzburg. Friendly personal. Good breakfast. A lot of young people. Nice low cost hostel with small but clean rooms.

Yelp
You know the company is doing a good job when you don't want to leave! JUFA hostel was wonderful. A full breakfast, bedding, and towels where provided all for a inexpensive price. The staff where also very accommodating, friendly, and helped us figure out our travel plans. I have recommended this hostel to everyone I know. Thank you for our wonderful stay!

Yelp
What a great location in the city and an overall great place to stay on a budget. There was a reservation mishap when we first checked in, but the girls at the check-in counter were very helpful and provided us an upgrade for a few days as a consolation. Honestly, it was difficult to see a difference between our upgraded room and the regular room we later moved into. The accomodations were so comfortable, bright, and clean. We stayed in one side of the building that had a beautiful view of the Festung Hohensalzburg in the Nonntal district. We were close to many of the beautiful's beautiful sites, so it was incredibly convenient to get to the bus stops that are only about a 5 minute walk from JUFA. They had a wonderful breakfast set-up in the morning and a nice mini-cafeteria in the lobby that served quick food after-hours. Wifi was dodgy - only worked if you could get the password. Overall, a great place to stay for international travelers staying in town to take in the beautiful city of Salzburg.

Yelp
The front garden area is very beautiful, but that's where the beauty ends for this hotel. Our room felt like satan's armpit and two of the guests checking in with us were assigned rooms with people already checked into them. Our room was supposed to house three people, but the third bed was locked up and we weren't able to access it until at least an hour after we checked in. Also, there was a party going on with loud music and yelling people until four in the morning. It was either open the window to make the room a livable temperature or close the window and get some sleep. Definitely would not be staying here again. Ever.
