I travel around the country in my downtime and play golf. This course is unique and challenging in its design. The course was in excellent shape, and the staff was pleasant and professional. It's just a great course in a beautiful area. Thank you

Google
Great mountain golf course near McCall. Very scenic and well manicured, worth the price. Cool course design with lots of dog legs and risk/reward shots. Views are definitely hard to beat. Tee times were pretty well filled up so book ahead. The food and drink at the clubhouse were also good...loved the Philly sandwhich. Would love to go back!

Google
Played in a tournament with IGF Great course. A real test even for a skilled player. Plenty long and skinny in lots of places. Definitely target golf. As a team we finished second. Stayed around for the food which was very good for the. $$

Google
Great course - bring extra balls if you don’t stay in the fairways. Beautiful views and wildlife

Google
The golf course at Jug Mountain is an ABSOLUTE MUST PLAY course...get there, you will be AMAZED (play the Gold...tips...for the best views) The staff is accommodating and friendly, so have a bite overlooking the course afterward.

We came up for an afternoon of mtn biking. It was my first time here. I was very impressed by the variety of maintained trails. Decent amount of climbing and many downhill trails of varying degrees of difficulty for all levels. I’ll definitely be back to explore more.

Google
Great management, good food and awesome mountain biking. Shuttles are available on weekends for endless downhill riding. Several mountain bike races are held throughout the season. Fun times, every visit!

Google
Beautiful, relaxing golf course. Highly recommend for an enjoyable afternoon!

Yelp
Played the executive 6 hole course and it was so beautiful, just a real great experience

Yelp
Prime rib was good and reasonably priced. Very nice outside eating area. Service was good even with a large party nearby.

Jake Z.

Yelp
Great food and a great view! Hard to bead a cocktail and the view on a summer evening! Love the rotating smokers meats! The prime rib was delicious!

Yelp
This is a golf course restaurant about 20 minutes from McCall. It is largely staffed by teenagers and serves burgers and sandwiches. It had three dinner entrées, but I would not recommend it for a nice dinner out.

Leslie M.

Yelp
Mountain golf at its finest. Course itself is in great shape. Cost is very competitive, but the golf carts are dated and dirty. We enjoyed lunch on the deck after. Service is very slow due to inability to staff. Food is very tasty. We enjoyed a wrap and fish sticks.

Steve B.

Yelp
Amazing experience, course was incredible, views and conditions. Drink cart took almost 9 holes before we saw them maybe a bit sooner of more would have been helpful.

Chuck W.

Yelp
Such a beautiful place with so much to do. Spectacular golf course in great condition. Views in all directions! You've got to experience it!

Yelp
We had fun playing golf here. There were enough of us in the group to be accused of slowing everybody behind us but the truth was it was the 3 people in front of us that slowed us all down. One of them hit the golf ball 10 or so feet at a time. We had fun with 3 golf carts. Rushing to every shot because we were new golfers. Afterwards, we ate at the club. We had ribs and/or pasta and a good dessert afterwards. In that same area, there is a nice trail biking that costs 0 dollars. It is said that not even comparatively to some of the bike trails in LA that May even cost you as much as $50. Go here and drive the miles. The country is beautiful. It makes you feel like CA. Is a dying state.

Yelp
We were a party of 7 on a Saturday night and got turned away...:( not enough help. We were looking forward to a nice dinner

Kevin B.

Yelp
The Cuban sandwich was amazing. Jug is an awesome place to golf mountain bike and have a great meal. Don't miss it.

Gloria M.

Yelp
The greens okay, the service grumpy! Pro shop not friendly the person running the beverage cart must have had a bad day. All and all GRUMPY! Not impressed!

Yelp
This is honestly in my top 5 wedding venues in the state of Idaho. The views are unmatched. If you don't have Jug Mountain on your radar to check out for venues you should add it immediately. The improvements the last year have made it the premiere Idaho outdoor venue.

Shelly S.

Yelp
We have enjoyed lunches and dinners at the restaurant this year - they worked with the covid expectations very well while providing an opportunity to enjoy their food and views. We very much appreciated them being open in a safe manner.

Yelp
Very impressed with this golf course and the personnel. Our starting time was 9 and we got off right on time- kudos to the starter. We were give a "tip sheet" that covered every hole and outlined the "do's" rather than the "don'ts". Fortunately we played the someone who was a regular and he added a lot of information as to what to do. The course was in excellent shape - was told they close on Tuesday's so they can do course maintenance which means that there are no noisy or pesky grounds people in your way. The one downside is that the driving range is probably a half mile from the club house and you can't take s cart to get there- need to drive your own vehicle, plus range tokens are a dollar and if you don't have a one you need to go back to the club house. We had lunch after the round- food was good, service was excellent. Would I play it again? In a heart beat!

Yelp
We came here for an early Valentines Day dinner with my partners parents and the food was great. We weren't expecting this menu since the email we received was for Mexican food but still delicious. I can confidently say every dish was great because I helped to finish all of them. We had two white bean and kale soups, two beet salads, two butternut squash raviolis, one lobster with wild rice and asparagus and one halibut on risotto with asparagus. For desert we all shared a piece of their Ventine's Day special cake. We were all very happy with our meals and the service. The only thing that keeps this restaurant from a five star experience for us was the noise level. It was a pretty full house and we could barely hear eachother over the noise. All in all I would recommend it but maybe not for an intimate night out.

Bill G.

Yelp
Probably one of the best course around and I've played a few. Twilight rate in peak season was $53 with a cart which is very fair. Great course

RJ C.

Yelp
Went here for lunch today not disappointed! Great view had the Rueben and the parmesan garlic fries. Highly recommend, beautiful view! Delicious!

Rashelle L.

Yelp
Wonderful welcoming staff. Friendly and knowledgeable server. Excellent cocktails and delicious food. Clams in white wine broth was to die for and Kobe steak cooked to perfection.

Heather E.

Yelp
Great course. There are a ton of long weeds/grass off of fairways, so you might loose a lot of balls. I do. But it is quiet, well manicured and the carts work nicely. The prices are reasonably low for what a nice course it is. Another great part is the drink you can have on the deck after your game. It is gorgeous!

Yelp
My husband and I went to Jug Mountain to ride our e-bikes and have lunch at the clubhouse. We were scolded and told that e-bikes were not allowed. How is it o.k. to use a shuttle to get yourself and your bike up the mountain, but we can't use human power with our pedal assist e-bikes ( we do not have a throttle ) to climb the mountain. We have several friends that all have sprinter vans and e-bikes and love to travel to cool places. Despite being very beautiful Jug Mountain is simply behind the times and backwards in their thinking on e-bikes. Jug Mountain is shooting themselves in the foot, the sprinter van/ebike demographic is exactly the type that can afford a nice lunch and a golf game after their e-bike ride. This kind of exclusion is the same treatment that snowboarding got except that instead of discriminating against a bunch of kids you are discriminating people with disabilities and age. Perhaps the owners and managers of Jug Mountain will feel differently when they get older, have an injury, a knee replacement, or want to ride with a child or partner with disabilities.

Yelp
Winter Supper Club: When we found out that you were open on weekends, we couldn't wait to go. So we grabbed our friends and went last night. It was a winter wonderland adventure with great service and terrific food, friendly staff, We will reccommend it to all our guests looking for a fine dinner. Thanks, Ashley & Katrin of the Ashley Inn, Cascade, Idaho

Yelp
Top notch view of valley. Service was T'ing off on the pro pad. Lunch was above par. Try the homemade soup, filling enough for a lunch and $5.95. Club house in the back on hill.

Jolene J.

Yelp
Great food great view great drinks Not a big selection wish all items were available at all times. And the strawberry cucumber mojito is the best

Kelly S.

Yelp
The Clubhouse restaurant here is FANTASTIC! Professional service, inviting space, incredible views and the best chef in Idaho make the whole dining experience truly exceptional. I went here twice for dinner, both times I had the trout entree with an amazing green peppercorn sauce, mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. A dinner salad with huckleberry dressing was included. Well worth the $18 cost. The wine list is also very good, and the staff knows which wine to recommend with your entree. They easily and professionally accommodated a kid in our party who has wheat and dairy allergies. If you want a high quality restaurant experience similar to what you might have in the Napa Valley, San Francisco or New York, you will find it here.

Yelp
I love this place! They have a restaurant with a large patio with beautiful views, it's a tranquil and serene place to sit. The food is good and I've always had excellent service.

Kendra O.

Yelp
Beautiful views of the valley from the patio! I had a great salad and everyone else in our party seemed to enjoy their meals as well. They also had a great wine and beer selection. Will be heading back next time I am in the McCall area!

Brian M.

Yelp
I highly recommend this course!!! 10 out of 10 as far as enjoyability, difficulty and customer service!!! I live in Florida and was visiting friends when we decided to play this course! After finishing our round and heading back to Boise, I realized that I had left my car keys and sunglasses in the cart. Immediately, I called and spoke to a women in the pro shop who explained she'd found my items. She offered to mail them to me, which was going above and beyond to begin with, but didn't even ask me for one cent for postage or anything!!! I couldn't be more happy with my experience here, and would recommend Jug Mountain to anyone.

Kevin B.

Yelp
Another great day at my favorite spot in McCall. Great Ruben sandwich with home made chips. Mountain bike trails are open. And the golf course is in great condition.

Jerold Q.

Yelp
The golf course looks pristine. The mountain bike trail conditions are perfect for all types of riders. The clubhouse food and drink selection is as great as the patio view. A must see and experience when you're in McCall.

Yelp
Came in for a quick meal before a round of golf with my kids. The staff was great and really got our food out quickly. My wife stayed behind and to enjoy the view with a drink. Fun, challenging golf course and good restaurant- I recommend it.

Dan D.

Yelp
Awesome golf course. The greens are perfect which will reward a good putt. From the tips it plays extremely long especially into the wind so chose your tee box wisely! If you are looking for a great golf course without any gimmick holes this is your place. Make a day out of it and stay for dinner at the clubhouse restaurant where the food is just as good as the course.
