Jugendherberge Davos

Davos Youth Hostel, also called Youthpalace, is a vibrant and sociable mountain retreat housed in a former sanatorium on the sunny side of Davos Dorf. With its panoramic mountain views and communal energy, it caters to families, student groups, solo travelers, and budget-conscious visitors. Managed by Swiss Youth Hostels, it offers a clean, functional space that balances affordability with access to nature and community.

The beds were comfy, the rooms clean and soundproof, and the cook had made sure there was a nice vegan meal for me for every evening. There were enough options for breakfast, clearly labelled, too.

Nice hotel in Davos dorf... Good location... 10min from train station... 10min to Parsenn ski lift... Rooms very big, with big windows... The view is so beautiful... Bathroom also big, and very clean... Inside room you have locker for every bed... Every day you have breakfast and if you want to pay for dinner... Also inside there are play room for relax... People who work there is so kind and helpful...At night it's very quiet and you can relax and rest of skiing... All recommendations for visit and sleep inside if you are in Davos and in this part of Switzerland

Like the other Swiss Youth Hostels, so clean you could eat on the floor, and a large breakfast. In a position with a great panoramic view, the rooms (I was in a dormitory for 6) are small but you get a private bathroom+shower and free towels (not like the other hostels). Kids area available and a good common area. Just like St. Moritz (Engadin Marathon), for large sport events (Davos X-Trails) they offer a VERY early breakfast and checkout ❤️ February 2025: second time here, first small mishap (my room was sort of taken over by kids), but they promptly gave me my own dorm. Super staff! They also have a microwave and a public fridge! Soap (shower, hands) is also provided. The laundry service is done by them (24h roundtrip), so if you need something urgent you can't do it.

I’m really impressed how good this place is! Perfect location in a beautiful city, helpful and kind staff, nice common areas, even rooms for storing skis and waxing them. Of course also the breakfast - really nicely equipped 👍 with a wonderful view of Davos. I really love it and would love to come back here ☀️☀️❄️❄️ Aaa and the internet is really perfect, you can work from here easily 👌

Nice place which located in the top of the hill, a bit hard to find since name at tue sign not really match with the name booked from the app. But food was good have many types of food and clean.

Fantastic budget accomodation, super clean, large room with spacious balcony and ensuite bathroom. The only complaint one of our group had was the fact that there weren't any coirssants for beakfast!
