We had a great weekend stay at the Gstaad Saanen Youth Hostel. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and professional. Big plus: the kids play corner just next to the eating area --> parents can actually have a moment for themselves. Gstaad Saanen is charming, the mountain views are epic, our visit to Lauenensee was stunning (recommendation from the hosts). Overall, great vibes!

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway at the hostel in Saanen. It was relatively quiet in the hostel, probably because it was already off season. The rooms are newly renovated, clean and very cozy. For breakfast and dinner there was always a delicious selection of homemade dishes. And the staff is very welcoming and had some nice recommendations for daily activities. In total, we can really recommend this place and would definitely choose it again!

I went at an off peak time as it is not ski season yet. There were very few people, do I had my 6-person mixed dorm to myself. The guy at the front desk put me in a room with a beautiful view.
They give you bed linens and there are towels to rent. The showers are spacious, have hot water, and there is a 2-in-1 soap dispenser.
The breakfast was a traditional Swiss Hostel breakfast: cold cuts, bread, yogurt, muesli, and coffee machine.
