Lovely spot on the river. Great Building with clean rooms. We stayed in a family room with big windows out front looking over the river, awesome. But be warned the bars and cafes along the street and river and around the hostel are open very late and it is noisy. You will need your ear plugs even when the windows are closed. The front desk is very particular with its opening times.

Location is 'ok', clean and offers pretty much everything you need. Was quite surprised about the service though. I arrived on a sat. for a marriage and unfortunately didnt notice that reception was only(!) open from 8-10am and from 4-6pm. As i really needed to dress for the event I urged them to provide me with a room. Service personnel was quite unflexible and treated me rudely, but gave me my room in the end. Booked a single room and unfortunately had to move into a 6bed dorm.

Great. visit with perhaps the best service I've had in Switzerland. Great food prepared to order. My steak was great, with wonderful gratin potatoes. Our waitress was friendly, funny, and helpful. ||We had a bit of a long wait to get our bill after asking three times.||Over all we liked ''tis new steakhouse.

The building itself is rather impressive; glass and steel frames making a very contemporary interior for the old building. As with every Swiss YHA this hostel is clean, well looked after and well run, but has limited staff hours and is rather lacking in real comfort. Each floor has a seating area with a few chairs and a table, but there is no proper comfy sitting area or TV room.||||The hostel is in the old town, a quick 5 minutes walk from the main and west train stations and very easy to find being on the riverfront.||||Breakfast is typical Swiss (bread, cheese, cold cuts, muesli) but of a rather high quality. Like all Swiss YHAs there is no guest kitchen (nor even a guest watertap other than the toilet sinks).||||Most of the guests seemed to be Swiss families at the weekend and school groups during the week. Very few regular backpackers.||||Wifi is good, though doesn't work in the sleeping areas.||||During the summer the area at the front is filled with bars and so chatter and music will be loud until late into the night.

Very modern and fine place near river, new building inside old one. A little bit scary because very modern with metal, glass (also in stairs) etc; and you can see all the way down even from 3th floor. Little street between hostel and river; late evening / night people were walking and talking there and room was a bit noisy; windows had to be shut even fresh air would be nice. ||Lockers, good showers, ok breakfast etc; very good value.

Rooms are basic but clean and tidy. Free wi-fi, friendly staff, they all speak English. Meals are delicious, for example at breakfast there are plenty of food from local bakery and farms. Great location next to river Inn and in the old center.

Come here the enjoy a quite piece of industrial design art. Definitely impressed to the max. One of the coolest “hotels” I’ve been in.

It was good to save your money in this place. Except the WiFi will not be connected to Ur room. But you also need to buy a membership card if you planning to stay for more day. Else without membership you have to pay an additional 7frac per day. And member will cost you 33 for one year.
