Best price through their website. Clean and great-value breakfast. Too many mosquitoes in the room at night (the window needs to be open in summer). Installing window screens would solve the issue. I was there on a cycling tour - they have a bicycles shelter.

Gave me a small reduction because I could not join breakfast as I had to get up early. Clean Room & Clean Sheats and very helpfull Staff.

This hostel stands out for its breakfast service, offering a wide variety of options. However, the number of bathrooms is insufficient compared to the number of rooms. There are 10 rooms per floor, each with 4 beds, which is not adequate for guests' needs. Hand soap was not refilled during a 3-night stay. The staff presence is minimal, and guests are required to make their own beds and return the bedding upon check-out. On the first night of the stay, children were running around and slamming doors loudly until 11:00 PM. Location is good

This hostel is one of the cleanest hostels in Switzerland. Perfectly located next to the train station, with all the amenities and more. Swiss hospitality at it's best. Food is beautifully presented and delicious. Nothing was missing during my short stay. I would highly recommend this youth hostel.

I had an excellent 3-night stay at Zug Youth Hostel. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming staff who made the check-in process smooth and pleasant.The hostel is impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to the beautiful town of Zug and its picturesque surroundings.Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, making for a great start to each day. The facilities were modern and convenient, contributing to an overall enjoyable experience.I highly recommend Zug Youth Hostel for its top-notch service, cleanliness, and prime location. It’s one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at.

Super nice hostel, everything was clean and comfortable.

If you are traveling alone on budget this hostel is probably the best thing around zug. It's 2-3x cheaper compared to the next cheapest hotel. They only catch is you may have to share your room with other guys/gals. First week I was alone in the room, though next week I had few roommates. I really only needed a bed to sleep, so it wasn't a big deal for me. The room was extremely basic but very clean. Toilets were also very clean. I didn't shower there so I can't comment on that. The hostel is located 2 minutes from the train station, but be not afraid trains are really quiet in Switzerland and did't bother me at night with windows open. There's a free wifi and breakfast (very good as well) is included. The personnel is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. Oh, just in case, check if your key card works. For some reason mine didn't work on the entrance door, but worked fine on the room door.

A well located hostel. Good for individuals, groups or families. Very new and facilities in tip-top condition. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Will strongly recommend to all members!
