Juicy Birds Nashville Hot Chicken (Greektown)

the space is small but you can see them frying up all the chicken when you order , and TRUST ME REPLACE THE BUN ON YOUR SANDWICH WITH A WAFFLE, IT’S MIND BLOWING ! the waffle is ridiculously soft, not “undercooked” but perfectly mushy and doughy with a mild sweetness that goes so well with the freshly fried, super tender and juicy chicken. it has just a slight crunch, and the honey chipotle coating was sweet, sticky, hot, and tangy. the jalapeños were super sour and quite spicy and packed a punch, but i don’t know if the coleslaw paired that well (even though i usually really like coleslaw on my sandwich — the cold creamy fresh flavour just didn’t work as well for some reason). seriously the waffle was so comforting and yummy and good though. the banana pudding is also very solid — it’s got a super strong banana flavour (including banana slices!) and is very much on the lighter and creamier side . i think it would’ve been better if there was a stronger, deeper flavour from the biscoff crumble though, it didn’t really do much here.

The staff is too friendly, and the food is good, but the dining room is tiny and crowded. I waited about 30 minutes for my order. Honestly, I can’t blame the staff. They work very hard, but they have a lot of deliveries and take-out orders, in addition to the orders in the restaurant.

This place used to be my go-to spot, and I’ve recommended it to so many friends over the years. Unfortunately, my most recent order was a huge disappointment. The fried chicken piece I received was small and paper-thin — there was barely any actual meat. It honestly felt like I was just eating a thick layer of flour coating with almost nothing inside.It was overcooked. The chicken was so dry it felt like wood, and it was hard and unpleasant to chew. Really disappointed with the drop in food quality. I used to love this place, but after this experience, I’m not sure I’ll be coming back. I hope they seriously look into their portion sizes and cooking consistency.

Music is too loud that it's a bit hard to order when talking to the cashier. The chicken in the burger is generous. A nice flavor. I do think they could have put in more fries

I’ve been coming here and today i ordered G.O.A.T sandwich and i love it specially the chicken is crunchy every bite . I am a but sad as they don’t sale chicken wings anymore which i always order! Hope one day they will bring the Wings back to sale it again.. Service is good, assisting guest properly and i wish they have bigger place so the customer are comfortable to eat as they have only small space. But what matters most is the food os really good and tasty..😝🥰😁😋😋😋😋😋

Have eaten from here many times, takeout and delivery both. Would definitely consider them to be the best fried chicken sandwich in the city. Even with delivery the food is hot, and the chicken is crispy. My favourite used to be the GOAT. I have tried the hot honey and while the flavours were good, it was a little too spicy for me. I recently tried the Tandoori x Nash sandwich and it is now my new favourite. It's like the GOAT, but the seasoning is better, more flavourful. I ended up adding pickles onto mine as it doesn't come with them. Amazing sandwich! Their dirty fries, chicken and waffles are also very good.

This place is more for to-go. It's my first time and the high rating attracted me here. The staff was kind, and the open kitchen looked clean. I ordered G.O.A.T sandwich, the freshly fried patty was crispy and hot. Overall taste wasn't much special but not even bad. Good for a light meal.

The fried chicken was decent in flavour and portion size, though some pieces were a bit tough. There was a deal advertised outside for two people, but when we ordered, it wasn’t applied and we had paid before noticing. We assumed he would apply it since we said we are here for that deal. The cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired, as shown in the photo, and the single staff member present spent most of the time on the phone. While the food itself was okay, the overall experience — including the hygiene and service — makes me hesitant to return, especially since there are other spots nearby offering similar or better food for the same price.

It was a national fried chicken day & took advantage of their classic slider ( limited two per person ) deal of $4.99( regular $7.99). Loved juicy chicken, generous amount of slaw and martins bun. Went with spicy level "burning" & "Nashville hot" but it was not overly spicy. I would recommend this place as a solid fried chicken spot!

Delicious takeout chicken sandwich right around Pape station. It's a bit hot and stuffy inside the restaurant but we ordered it to go and enjoyed it elsewhere. Was the chicken sandwich, great? YES. Is it the best chicken sando ever?... hmm debatable. That's all you need to know. Service took about 10-15 mins for the sandwich to be ready but at least it's nice and fresh. Give them a try.

A takeout chicken sandwich/wings spot located near the Pape subway station on Pape/Danforth. Stopped by and got the Hot Honey combo: chicken sandwich (deboned chicken bathed in spicy butter honey with jalapeños sprinkled around; I upgraded to a cheddar waffle instead of brioche bun), side coleslaw and a pop for $17. While I can nitpick and say i would've like the hot honey taste to be stronger, the coleslaw to have a bit more flavour (though was happy it wasn't drowning in mayo) and the cheddar wafflen to be a bit more firm, all that would be nitpicking. Because WOW was that one JUUUUUICY chicken - they definitely lived up to their name! I'm sufficiently intrigued and impressed. Will be back to try their GOAT sandwich and wings sometime.

We came here after a strenuous bike ride from evergreen brick works. So we built up quite an appetite. We went for the goat and it didn't disappoint. The hottest rub wasn't really so hot that you can't eat. It's definitely very flavorful. We loved it. The sauce on the burger was amazing too. It compares quite well to PG clucks. Overall, a great meal for a reasonable price if you're in the area.

I always wanna try new chicken sandwiches, and I stumbled upon a BOGO deal from Juicy Birds on DoorDash. I got the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich at Nashville heat and the Mozzarella Sticks. The sandwich was super flavourful and was a pretty big portion. The chicken was a little dry, but it wasn't a big deal. I felt that the Nashville heat level wasn't super spicy, so I'll try it at the spiciest level next time. The mozzarella sticks were so so yummy as well, and I really enjoyed the sauce that came with it as well! I definitely will order from them again!

4.5/5 The best chicken sandwich I've had in town (not that I've had a lot lol) The brioche bun they use on the sandwich was just perfect, while the meat was crispy and very juicy. Fyi: they use pepper powder to make it spicier so that's something to consider. My stomach can take heat but not if it's powder so it was definitely suffering the next day lol Nashville hot was the perfect heat for me but I would go Mild next time for the sake of my stomach. Winner of the day: Hot Honey I ordered: The GOAT The combination for the coleslaw, sauce and chicken was very good. Hot Honey I just loved this savory, sweet, and spicy combo. It could use a bit more sauce imo, but it was still great. Coleslaw This was vinegar based with mayo so it wasn't my cup of tea but it was refreshing enough to eat between bites. The place was quite busy with only 2 people working there. The staff was nice and was apologizing for the delay but it was totally worth the wait! Would love to try their waffles next time.

This was hands down the best fried chicken sandwich I've had in Toronto! I had the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was juicy, flavor, and tender, the sauce had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy and spicy and the brioche bun was just buttery goodness! I would love to try everything else on their menu.

I love their chicken sandwiches especially the hot honey sandwich! The chicken is flavourful and juicy. I love that you can choose your spice level so there's something for everyone, even no spice lovers! Keep in mind that it's for takeout, so there's only one table there that seats 2 people.

The Hot Honey was incredible. The best chicken sandwich I have ever had. It really blew me away. It was juicy, very good portion, satisfying, even the bread was soft and delicious. Service was courteous and I was not waiting too long despite them being quite busy with app orders. I hope they expand someday so there are more places to sit and relax but they had some chairs inside and outside and it's a good location.

I've ordered from Juicy Birds several time now and is my favourite. Juicy tasty chicken and sides. Never greasy never drive. Excellent.

don't waste your time. the chicken is squishy.. not crispy at all. i paid $40 for two people just to throw away the food. i hope god forgives me for throwing away the food but it was THAT inedible. lord forgive me
