Great food and service. The Singaporean noodles and the burger were delicious. We went back for more, and the Korean buns, and peanut chow fun were also delicious

Google
Wonderful little healthy food spot. I was treated to a meal here and it was definitely such a good spot to eat a nice meal over a nice conversation. The prices were so affordable with very generous portions. I an ordered a pancit plate with a drink that was the best lavender lemonade I’ve ever had, so I had one times two! Food comes quick, people are nice and well mannered. This place is fabulous.

Google
The “Alfredo Mac” was great but that was about the only think I enjoyed from what I tried on the menu. Any of the burger/sandwich items I was not a fan of the taste. Honestly a veggie burger would have been better than whatever what in it. I understand they want to be uniquely vegan and provide options other than just the classic veggie burger, but some things don’t need to be made so extravagant. The customer service was great however, they were very kind and worked on getting our food quickly

Google
Amazing food! Chef Chris is a genius! I’m a big fan of all the food but often get the hirata buns or Japanese curry or tofu katsu burger…and the baked goods are amazing too!

Google
Come here and get their vegan "loco moco"! It seems like this place constantly rotates their menu, so try and get it while you can. It is soooo good. Enjoyed everything else as well. Will have to come back next week and have some coffee.. Probably my new favorite spot for vegan noms. My bf who isn't vegan at all was certainly impressed by the taste. The portions were also very large for the price. edit: Came here again and got even more food :) The okonomiyaki is AMAZING~ also had vegan manapuas, SO GOOD the dough seems to have curry in it or something. Large and delicious. Think I've decided this place officially has the BEST vegan food anywhere.

Google
cute little vegan cafe with a bunch of options got the mushroom toast sandwich thingy and it was pretty good 6/10! it was around ~$12 and most things on the menu range from $12-$17. parking is a bit rough but there’s street parking near by

Great spot for brunch on Oahu! Creative, delicious, a must try on your Hawaii adventure!

Google
Always great vegan food & exceptional service. The relaxing atmosphere of the place leaves me with the impression that I’m stopping by to visit a friend. Today I had these delicious sweet potato croquettes & it was such a big portion Im going to have lunch for work tomorrow. You can always tell a lot of thought, creativity & care goes into every thing the chef does. It feels like a treat to be passing through the city & grab something special for myself, but it’s honestly worth the drive all on its own.

Yelp
Juicy Brew is one of our favorite restaurants--vegan or otherwise--in Hawaiʻi. It's small, often crowded, got a "granola" vibe. And sometimes service is a little slow. But the food is SO worth it. Every dish is well-crafted and super tasty. I crave their Mac 'n Kimcheezy, which I actually prefer over any real cheese version. And my hubby LOVES their Hirata Buns. I'm often skeptical of fake meats ("chick'n") but JB's are really good. No issues at all with texture or taste. Just yummy, meaty goodness.

Yelp
EDIT: I ended up getting really awful 24 hour long food poisoning from eating here, and I called the restaurant to let them know. However, I wasn't offered a refund and only received a verbal apology. The food itself, service, and the inside seating are fantastic, and I was really excited to try this place as it's been on my list for a while and looks delicious. However, I'm not sure if I got a bad batch, but the soba noodle salad with tofu poke really upset my stomach just an hour after eating, and it has still been in pain a few hours later. I am not sure what it would be that would affect me this much, as I rarely ever get food poisoning/my stomach is not that sensitive, but next time I might try something made to order instead of being premade to avoid this happening again.

Yelp
This is the first place I tried in Hawaii, and it did not disappoint. Every dish was a flavor of explosion. My favorite was the spicy chick'n ceasar wrap-it is so underrated! Also the staff was so sweet. Highly highly recommend! (And the prices are great)

Yelp
Love this place. It has been our go-to since we first started going there. Dog-friendly. They have our dog some water and a little healthy and organic doggy bowl of food. Just the nicest people. We had the mushroom melt, the mac and kimcheezy, Kimchi jjigae, and soba noodle salad. Delicious food. Can't wait to try more items. In the convenient Kaimuki area. Street parking. No outdoor seating, but dogs allowed inside. If you go at an off hour, there will be seating. I would recommend online ordering and pick up when it is lunch time as it can get busy.

Yelp
Honestly, I haven't been vegan very long, just about a month now. I tried every vegan place on the island during my trip. Everything was good, but the orange chicken hirata bun was incredible! It was my favorite thing I ate the entire time. I only wish it weren't the last thing I ate because I would have had it every day! On my next trip back I know where I will spend all of my time!

Yelp
got a sandwich here for brunch. the food here ranges from 12-17 dollars! the worker was friendly and the place was empty. not sure the sandwich was worth the ~$12 lol but it was alright

Yelp
Juicy brew is the best local vegetarian/local vegan food you can find with several gluten-free options. Their menu changes. Their price isn't outrageous, the service is wonderful, and the food is delicious. There is some music playing in the dining area. The dining area is a bit small (3 tables and 2 booth like spaces). But if you time it right, you have a nice spot to enjoy a healthy, hearty, satisfying meal. Top it off with a coffee or one of their fresh juices and whatever dessert they have (I always go for their unique mocha flavors) and you will not regret coming here. I even got a tofu poke sticker one of the staff members creates them. Thank you Juicy Brew folks! Y'all rock, y'all rule!

Yelp
The lavender latte with macadamia milk was so Ono I came back a hour later and tried the herbal tea which had like hints of mango. Definitely recommend both drinks. So good makes me want to come back and try something else. The blueberry scone was good too just wish it was warmed up instead of serving it wrapped up and cold. Ambience is quiet with nice music with many chairs and tables to pick from.

Yelp
Ate at Juicy Brew- I enjoyed the branch in Hale Pawaa so I decided to eat at the Kaimuki branch. Love the Black Velvet drink and the healthy food selections on the menu. The service was polite and efficient. Questions about the menu were answered with details. The ambiance is an eclectic shabby chic and it felt comfortable to dine in. Metered street parking is available, and I was able to get a stall right in front of the Cafe. Read that Dr Blum , my hand surgeon, is involved with Juicy Brew and knew it would be of high quality like his office and surgery center. It's an amazing cafe. I love the menu - so healthy and creative

Maria M.

Yelp
Mushroom Chow Fun was too salty, also your cold tofu noodle, again the dressing/sauce was too salty and noodles are saggy. Took home 2 of the tofu n noodle for my kids, they didn't eat it - only the pieces of tofu and potato. My $22.00 and $29.00 all wasted, ended up throwing it away. We are excited that you came to our workplace today, but really disappointed with the quality of the food. And to say it's not just me, my coworkers said the same thing. I will still support the local business, but really unhappy customer.

Teresa P.

Yelp
Honolulu is full of vegan food options, and this is one of the best. They use local ingredients when possible and serve vegan versions of Hawaiian and Asian foods, such as tofu poke and buns and noddles. Everything is delicious. The value is really good considering the quality and portions as well.

Cheryl M.

Yelp
I had my first runny-yolk egg in almost two years and it was vegan and delicious. For health reasons, I don't eat raw or undercooked food, including eggs so finding a loco moco with an "egg" that oozed creamy "yolk" into the rice and gravy was fantastic.

Yelp
I been eyeing them out for awhile and finally get to try them. I didn't try their dishes though cause it took 25-30minutes to prep (even for a mushroom melt). So I only try their chickpea salad and blueberry scone. I would recommend their salad, lots of ingredients and flavor on point. There are cranberries, celery, chickpea and other ingredients. But I don't recommend their scone, very dry and too dough. They have few tables inside, but tight space too. Reasonable pricing, total around $11 for a salad and a scone. Friendly service too.

Yelp
My friend recommended this place. Located in Kaimuki with limited parking. Look for street or meter parking. It's a very small restaurant and very hot inside. Three of us ordered 3 lunch plates and shared it. The food was sooo colorful. Lavender lemonade $4.75 - Not a strong lavender taste but lemonade for sure. Birria tacos $17 - a bit salty. But I like the crunchy-ness and meat together. There's like pickled veggies. Wabi sabi moco $17 - the patty was made with beet. Texture similar to meat. I liked it. The gravy was just a little bit salty. Other than that, the plate was yummy! Lemon yuzu poppy chick'n hirata buns $16 - reminds me of lemon chicken. Sweet and sour. Even the texture was similar to chicken. Pretty good with the bun. It was quite pricey, but the food was pretty filling. Food was delicious and very unique for being vegan. Definitely will be back when I want to eat healthier.

Yelp
I want to try something different and came across Juicy Brew's vegan "chicken" buns online. Juicy Brew is located on Waialae Ave and they sell everything vegan when it comes to sandwiches, burgers, buns, bentos, etc. Their menu have different selections of vegan meals that are both colorful and filling. I ordered their Orange "Chick'n" Hirata Buns which comes with two buns of orange "chick'n", purple cabbage, kyurizuke, Ahiki Acres bacchus radish, radish sprouts, kimchi aioli, ao nori and bubu arare furikake, on the house bao (as described on their menu). The two buns were $15, but they were huge! Both filled up the large plate lunch take-out container. The fillings in the buns were very generous. The size of the bun was bigger than my hand. I had to eat this with a fork instead of my hands because it gets very messy. The flavor of the "chick'n" was crispy and sweet. I would not have known that this was vegan. The sauces and vegetables helps with the balance and the flavor of the buns. Overall, an interesting experience. I do prefer meat, but this place serves tasty and colorful vegan dishes. Definitely would try their other dishes on the menu.

Yelp
Amidst the many plate lunch places in Hawaii, Juicy Brew is helping you live a balanced life with healthy and raw food options. It looks like they used to have a bunch of grab and go options but it's now transitioned into more of a restaurant style where you order at the counter. They have some seating. Some of the items are ready made though. I placed an order for an Okinawa sweet potato salad that was instantly ready to take out. It looks like the menu may also change frequently as I don't see it on the menu anymore. But everything is fresh and feel good for the body!
google avatar

Chas S.

Yelp
Boohoo. No more grab and go food anymore. Looks like there's more seating now, though.

Emmy B.

Yelp
I love Juicy Brew, it is one of my all time favorite places to eat on Oahu. I am gluten free and vegan so to find options I can eat is difficult but I am always so excited to go to Juicy Brew. I feel welcomed in and I love the books/art you can look at while there.
google avatar

Yelp
Am I vegan? No, but I have been enjoying more vegetarian options lately and have been eyeing Juicy Brew's hirata buns for months now. They're located on Waianae Ave with street parking only. I was able to conveniently order ahead on their website and select curbside pick up! They have daily specials posted as well. Now for those buns! Oh my goodness they were so yummy and huge. I thought $15 was quite pricey for two baos but they ended up filling the entire takeout container. The house made steamed buns were thick and pillowy, not soggy at all. All of the Asian flavors and textures were perfect from crunchy purple cabbage to pickled cucumbers. But the star was the the chick'n, which was texturally very similar to the original meat. The kimchee aioli and pistachio furikake added even more flavor. Will definitely be trying their other items soon!

Yelp
Juicy brew is a little gem of a plant based culinary elevated experience. Focusing on commiting to organic pacific island ingredients intergrating asian inspired fusion that is tasty, healthy and utilizes seasonal ingredients. The service is friendly, casual and co-op style. Help yourself to utensils and help bus your own table if you are so inspired or not, its all good. The ambience is homey and casual borderlyning on funky asian auntieʻs pad that wafts with tasty food!

Yelp
Amazing food!!!!! We will def be back! We got the spicy chik'n Caesar and I asked them to recommend the other so she suggested their most popular item (name is failing me now) and both were perfection!
google avatar

Jacie F.

Yelp
If you are looking for a vegan spot in town, Juicy Brew will be your spot. Their menu changes with their made to order dishes, but they also have their classics. When I was looking at the menu, I saw very carb-heavy options. I opted for the salad on the front page and was not disappointed. The green goddess dressing was FIREEEEE and there was a good mixture of ingredients. As for price, you have to expect to pay a little more for these vegetarian/vegan options. But that's just the price you have to pay...especially when it tastes good. Parking is on the street or in the neighborhood. Definitely would like to try more of their menu in the future!

Yelp
We visited the location in the Hale Pāwa'a building on the first floor. I actually had a MRI to be done but got their to early so we decided to try out Juicy Brew. We noticed the giant Taco Rice Burrito which is wrapped in a spinach tortilla. We had to order one of those. Now this was great toasted or cold. No salsa came with it but it's great without it. The meat is also plant based which is awesome it has a little crunch to it. The Mushroom Melt was the Bomb!! Omg we went back and bout two more sandwiches to take home. The flavors just mix well and there is no funny mushroom aftertaste. The Matcha tea is way better then Starbucks I'm sorry but the coconut milk and the way she made it was perfect and smooth. No chalky taste.. Ulu Blueberry Mochi is a must try we bought what ever they had left after our first try. Our 4 year old loved it too. The server was great she was very informative and didn't treat us like just another customer. We are definitely going back for more.

Andrew E.

Yelp
Food expensive but worth the price for the quality. Take out only in non-recyclable non-compostable plastic packaging :/

Miko S.

Yelp
Highly recommend the yakisoba and the black velvet latte! The service was so friendly, and the music set the right mood :) will always visit when I come to the big island! Mahalo Juicy Brew

Yelp
This place was a delight! Servings are nice and big, the food was fresh and tasty! My husband got the falafel and that was also really good. The whole menu is vegan.

Yelp
I had the wabisabi loco moco. It really looked good and they give a lot. However, I really didn't care for it. There was very little taste and some vegetables were actually bitter. The textures were good though. Maybe people who are true vegetarians, without their tastebuds spoiled by too much salt, would like it. Being someone who likes to try vegetarian dishes, it was not for me.

Kylie S.

Yelp
We were scared to be adventurous but so glad we went with the Wabi Sabi Moco. It was so amazing and flavorful. Yummmmm I love this place. It was so much more food than I expected, it was good for sharing.

Aya C.

Yelp
Amazing service and the food is creative, delicious and healthy!!! Every thing I have ever ordered is a delight to my tastebuds I especially love the lattes and desserts but also the uniqueness of the menu is inspirational. I LOVE eating here and would have given it 5 stars except that the bathroom desperately needs an upgrade, and I know maybe bathrooms shouldn't be part of a rating but it is part of the overall experience..now I'm not too particular with bathrooms but a minor investment in rubber mats, a shelf and new secure lock would do wonders..and nice for customers and staff alike. But aside form that minor thing (and if you don't have to pee you'll never even know) this is the place to get excellent plant based food!!The best that I have had on Oahu

Sarah B.

Yelp
Phenomenal vegan food. So filling, delicious, and nourishing. My friend and I had the Hearty Miso Soup and the Panisse. The service was fast and the chef Christina was so helpful and kind in her recommendations. Thank you Juicy Brew!
google avatar

Sydni K.

Yelp
I was eating dinner with one of my vegan friends, and I decided that Juicy Brew would be a perfect place to pick up food from. I ordered the loco moco and mochiko tempeh. I placed my order online a few hours in advance, and I was able to select contactless pickup. When I got there, there were no legal parking stalls, so I waited at the corner behind another car. I gave the store a call, and within a few minutes, one of the workers brought my food to my car! Both dishes were flavorful and used fresh ingredients. The mochiko tempeh was a little spicy for me, but overall, it had great flavor and side ingredients, especially the kabocha! I am impressed with how flavorful their dishes were considering that it was vegan. Other than the parking situation, I would highly recommend Juicy Brew! Please support these small local businesses during these tough times!

Yelp
What's better than Sunday vegan brunch? Saturday vegan brunch (edgy!). Veganism is picking up popularity and it's just a matter of time before we abandon our meat eating ways to embrace the way of the bean. For anyone wondering what life's like with vegan alternatives, it's fifty shades of green. Get ready for seeet and savory delights because sin is in! If vegan restaurants are the new hype, Juicy Brew is the gateway that will get people hooked on the new thang-a-thang. Featuring a rotating menu, Juicy Brew keeps it fresh every weekend for its vegan brunch. It's the place to be if you're into comfort food, especially if you want to indulge without feeling swollen like a bee sting afterward. One thing to keep in mind is the rotating menu. You'll fall in love with the seasonal dragon fruit dark chocolate ulu waffle and B-Boy bi bim bap, only to realize the menu changed the following week. Although I'm not big on cell phones at the dining table, I wholeheartedly support taking photos to remember favorites until they come around again. As we locals say, "broke da mouth." Parking is located on the street in metered stalls (free on Sundays) and the neighborhood. For an extra fun experience, park in front of a monster home and take a selfie.

Yelp
I constantly pass by this place but I finally got around to trying it! I came to get lunch from their options in the refrigerated case. There was a wide variety of choices, but some of them were a bit intimidating to my non vegan self. I decided on the chik'n tikka masala with sauteed kale over quinoa. The curry was well-spiced and fragrant, and the seasoning for the chik'n seemed to be fully incorporated into it. I was pleasantly surprised by the texture of the chik'n, which had a good amount of chew. I also picked up a coconut blueberry mochi, which honestly bumped up this review from a 3 to a 4 for me. It's like butter mochi but a little less firm, with a nice flavor that's not too sweet. If you decide to come here for grab-and-go food (as opposed to their brunch service), I'd say it's a mixed bag. My friends recommended I come here to try specific dishes, like the vegan mac and cheese. But since their options vary every day, it's not certain that you'll get what you're looking for. I'd like to come back to try their brunch, which seems like a totally different experience!

Yelp
At first I was thinking of getting something to drink here but nope it's not that kind of juicy brew. It's a cute shops with a wide range of healthy eats and it tastes good too. We tried three options. I got the mochicko chicken donburi, my daughter got the crispy chicken hirata buns. I grabbed the bulging I-style eggplant for my husband. We all need file for work and today this was our spot. The mochiko chick'n" donburi was a hefty packed bowl for $11.75. It was too much food for me. The chicken texture was like it was breast meat but I couldn't tell. It was precut into rectangular slices. The brown rice was perfectly cooked and so was the kombucha. Now that combination I can ride with. Can't say much for the shrooms and lotus root, it's just not my thing. My daughters crispy chick'n" hirata buns were very pretty. Loved the presentation. It cost $13.00 and was full of flavor. Very filling too. My daughter could only eat one. Now for the Bulgogi-style eggplant hirata buns. Again another beautiful presentation for only $13.00. My husband loved it. He said it's tasty and healthy, big bonus. If your looking for a healthy flavorful meal that will fill you up but won't leave you feeling sluggish stop by and see what they had to offer.

Yelp
Juicy Brew is amazing! I love that there are so many vegan options here, including dessert. The food is so thoughtfully curated, well balanced, and very flavorful. I usually order in advance via their online system and the pick up process is seamless.

Yelp
*screaming* Get the bao. I dream about the bao in the orange "chicken" style (you'd never guess it's tofu!).
google avatar

Amber T.

Yelp
Another pleasant discovery in this quaint hole in the wall place - always have spot on burst of flavors in everything they make! Service is awesome; Parking can be challenging on some days so try to come earlier to do a few laps. (: But all in all, they got regulars for life Don't knock it until you've tried it. It's totally worth it!

Yelp
Omg second time here... I came back for the BLT sandwich I had months ago it was so delicious wanted it again... unfortunately not on brunch menu today However ordered the enchilada - see picture- it was so big I could only eat half - again surpassed my expectations. I worked with some of the most talented chefs in the world in nyc for many years ... the flavors are spectacular here. Must check it out quiet serene vibe. I took Manapua to go Soo full barely can stand and I only ate half lol

Yelp
I enjoyed it. I'm not vegetarian but I don't eat red meat, deep fried food/white carbs or sugary/processed foods so I was interested in JBrew. They will be catering Aloha Animal Sanctuary's first fundraising gala so had to try it out before the big night. My pancita noodles with pickled daikon and tofu was great! Friend had French Rostov- sweet with persimmons and kumquats and blueberries. I would eat there again - that's my bottom line. I've been to places I wouldn't go back to but this was not one of them.

Yelp
The search for the best vegetarian Reuben continues. I happened to glance at the menu of this funky joint as we were walking to Tamura's to get some poke and decided to hit up their Reuben on the way back. The ladies who run the place are super friendly and helpful. We ordered a Reuben to share and sat down at their sidewalk tables to wait. When the sandwich came it was generous and enticing. Nor fake corned beef or fake pastrami but a tempeh patty instead. It was the their home made slaw and toppings that really made the sandwich sing. I loved that they wash and sterilize their plastic takeout containers, keeping them out of the trash stream. Still, though, if you want a real vegan Reuben the only place that I've found that truly delivers is The Chicago Diner.

Yelp
I don't know what I just ate but it was soo good!! I feel like I was good to myself-Christina in the kitchen is so awesome too!! I'll be backkkk!

Yelp
I am genuinely blown away. Look at these buns! Not only did they taste great, but they're one of the most colorful, beautiful dishes I've ever seen. Talk about artisan. The fried soy curls were delicious alongside the sliced rainbow of veggies. Plus, points for being filling--each sandwich was a hearty meal of its own. This cafe is way better than their sister shop which is essentially a glorified (but wonderful) coffee shop.

Yelp
This place is one of my fav vegetarian restaurants in Honolulu. Today, I had the Falafel plate. It was so delicious, if I'd had room in my gullet, I would have ordered another. I always leave satiated. The service is excellent. And although there are only 3 tables, and 2 high tops, and the place is popular, I always go early so never have a problem finding a place to sit. Thank you Juicy Brew!
google avatar

Yelp
Mmmm, such yummy goodness! Ono ulu! Server here is the best, come inside and chill to good vibes and cool island breezes through the air-con.

Yelp
First time trying this place. I am a meat eater so I was skeptical but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the dumplings, manapua and karaage tofu. Everything was delicious but the dumplings were my fave-i highly recommend the dumplings. Ordering online is easy but do it EARLY!! They do run out of some "made to order" items quickly. Safe Covid practice .
google avatar

Yelp
My first time trying Juicy Brew and it won't be my last! I was recommended to this place by a friend of mine who works there (Hi Cheryl!) I got the orange chick'n bao buns. They were so flavorful and filling! Definitely a good lunch in my book. These could easily be split by 2 people with a lighter appetite! I can't wait to come back and try more of Juicy Brew's menu.

Yelp
Beet Box Café Organic, vegetarian breakfast (available all day) & lunch served in a colorful, informal setting. Food**** The food was so good! I wish this place was everywhere. We even got something we didn't order but loved it anyway. Usually we would give less stars but it was so darn good we couldn't even give it back and ask for what we ordered. We got the Burrito Babe and the Yogi Bowl (which we did not order). Yogi Bowl - Yogi Bowl roasted eggplant, seasoned baked tofu, spinach, portobello mushrooms, red bell peppers, cashews & green onion stir fried in an Asian style sauce then served on two scoops of brown rice and topped with pickled carrots, toasted sesame seeds & a swirl of Sriracha spicy sauce and Burrito Babe - a rich and saucy sauté of broccoli, red onion, red bell pepper, zucchini, garlic, carrot & tofu with a splash of tamari simmered in our house Thai peanut coconut sauce & served atop brown rice then wrapped in a toasty flour tortilla Service**** Great minus the mess up! But we won't fault them for this because they provided us with a chair because our table had only one and many condiments. They were very accommodating and had we told them we got the wrong order I'm sure they would have fixed it! Atmosphere*** Small outside area with 2-3 tables and a few chairs. It was not spectacular but due to covid we can't fault them for this. The indoors are not open. Price$$ Moderately priced and totally worth it!

Yelp
For Thanksgiving we had what looks like a humongous pot pie filled with veggies, and more. Delicious. Served 6-8 . The next night we had the second "pot pie". Same thing...just as scrumptious and delicious as the previous night's one. We invited several guest who also were amazed and loved the "pot pie". I hope that Juicy Brew will offer this item for Christmas, By the war this was my first experience with food from Juicy Brew. Looking forward to enjoying more dishes soon!

Yelp
Really good on focaccia bread. Very favorable. Portabella mushroom, spinach, carmelized onions, bell peppers, pesto aioli, and cheese!
