An absolute treat after a day of hiking and exploring the Daintree forest. Loved the concept and vibe this restaurant brings, great harmony of luxury, comfort and wildlife. Nice small menu and smart use of local ingredients. Really enjoyed the Kangaroo Tartar. A few bugs joined us at the dining table but doesn’t bother us and it’s all this restaurant is about.

We stopped by for lunch on the way back from Daintree Discovery Centre. The restaurant is part of the Eco forest hotel and has a beautiful setting with outdoor tables on the pond. Small menu and small portions of food but delicious and fresh! Lovely cocktails and the staff were super friendly.

Stopped for lunch. Our tummies are very happy. Although the lunch menu is quite limited it just delivers high quality chef style dishes. Absolutely delicious and amazing surrounding

Charming little restaurant in Daintree Ecolodge. Happy smiling staff, simple food done well with a basic but acceptable wine list. Worth a detour to try.

Amazing experience!! Sitting in the middle a rain forest and having this quality breakfast is one of a kind experience for food and nature lovers.. Hospitality was so nice-very friendly and helpful staff…we didn’t have long time here (as we were heading to crocodile watch ride )to try different items and spend time.. ordered an omelette and a chai latte.. omelette was amazing and chai latte had a different tasty I never had(but spicy for my taste and they seems to use freshly grounded cinnamon powder) Overall great experience and wish we had little longer time to spend there..

Best restaurant in the Daintree! - the food was as good as some of the best restaurants in Sydney - both mine and my partners wine was infallible - the venue was so picturesque (dining over a tropical lagoon with the sounds of the rainforest coming to life as the sunset) - the service was exceptional with careful attention given to dietary requirements!

We enjoyed the dining experience with a menu incorporating local flavours. Recommend the scallops with truffle, reef fish, kangaroo and halloumi and quinoa dishes as they were well balanced with sauces and accompaniments. The orange and almond cake with syrup was delicious. Vegetarian risotto and Wicked sorbet was ok. The architecture is stylish and beautiful rainforest and pond setting created a feeling of being immersed in the jungle. As evening fell the forest came alive with bird calls and frogs. Also mosquitoes in the wet season so wear insect repellent. The service was excellent with friendly, helpful staff (including a lovely UK couple enthusiastic about the region) who made great recommendations.

After eating here a year ago we are back and still having a great experience. The food is fabulous. Interesting cocktails with local ingredients - happy to make mocktails and good wine list. The wait staff were helpful and attentive. Can't wait to come back!
