Julia, the restaurant inside La Posada Hotel in Santa Fe, NM, offers a warm dining experience with standout service. Fatima and Rosa, who work on the patio, deliver exceptional attention and hospitality, making the meal enjoyable. The margaritas are notably excellent, a highlight of the menu, while the food itself is decent, meeting expectations but not particularly remarkable. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot for drinks and great service with a scenic atmosphere.

Julia at the La Posada Hotel is a great place for drinks, lunch, or dinner in an elegant, historic setting only a short walk from the bustle of downtown Santa Fe. Outside, choose a table or a comfy chair near the firepit. Inside, choose the TVed bar or the spacious dining room. The food is good, the staff is friendly, and the service is excellent.

It was a busy Friday night the day after thanksgiving but the staff did a fantastic job giving great service. One of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. Wings were fantastic and hummus was a great appetizer. Definitely going to come back here

Short version: Looking for a special dining experience? Look no further than Julia, a Spirited Restaurant & Bar. This stunning establishment offers warm and professional service, a cozy atmosphere with a rich history, and mouth-watering dishes, such as the perfectly seasoned rosemary roasted half chicken and bacon-wrapped fillet mignon with black truffle mashed potatoes and mole sauce. Top it off with the jalapeño cucumber margarita and pecan caramel cheesecake and you're in for a treat. Don't miss the opportunity to be taken care of by the exceptional staff at Julia - you won't regret it. Full review: Looking for a special dining experience? Look no further than Julia, a Spirited Restaurant & Bar, where history and modernity meet in a stunning setting. With a rich history dating back to 1882, this establishment is a must-visit for anyone interested in the past. And once you're inside, you'll be greeted by warm and professional staff who are dedicated to making your experience unforgettable. During our visit, we were lucky enough to be seated next to a cozy fireplace, adding to the warm and relaxing ambiance created by the exposed wood and beautiful architecture. But the real star of the show was the food and drink. We started off with a jalapeño cucumber margarita that was expertly crafted with the perfect balance of flavors. For our entrees, we opted for the rosemary roasted half chicken and bacon-wrapped fillet mignon with black truffle mashed potatoes and mole sauce. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. And for dessert, we indulged in the pecan caramel cheesecake, served with fresh fruit and whipped cream. It was the perfect way to cap off an unforgettable meal. But what really set Julia apart was the exceptional service. From the bartender wishing us a happy anniversary to our server Karel going above and beyond to make the night extra special, we felt truly taken care of from start to finish. Don't miss out on the opportunity to dine at Julia and experience all it has to offer. You won't regret it.

Wonderful service and excellent food. Amazing ambience, too. We ate out on the patio and ordered the Trio Dip (queso, guacamole, and salsa with tortilla chips) as our appetizer. All three tasted great. I personally had the Julia Burger (lettuce, tomato, pickle chip, and cheddar cheese), which tasted great. Overall great place! :D

Google
Awful food. Dried out chicken breast was like eating a cardboard box. Service was extremely slow.. maybe bc they were burning the chicken. Burger was dry and had no flavor. She dropped the food with the check, which I find rude. Some of the strawberries were close to being rotted. She disappeared after dropping the food and check. Had to get another employee to check us out. Was really bad. Very disappointing.

As hotel guests we decided to try out the restaurant on a night we were feeling a bit lazy. Wow! We were so surprised and impressed with the food quality, taste, and presentation for a hotel restaurant that we made sure to plan another night to eat here again. Our first order was the charcuterie plate followed by the veal and filet. The appetizer was thoughtfully presented and a great mix of sweet and savory nibbles (we took leftovers to our room for later). The mains were succulent and filled with flavor. The meats were cooked to perfection and the veg accompaniment was perfectly portioned for the plate. This was proper upscale dining with good size portions of the star of the dish. On our second visit we tried the lamb, beet salad, and green chile stew. All were fantastic. Again, well seasoned, meat falling off the bone, salad was perfectly dressed and beautifully presented, and the stew had a lovely depth of flavor. We have tried a number of highly recommended restaurants around town on our week long visit and this has been a standout.

Google
I had the marinated skirt steak cooked medium, grilled shrimp, over Spanish and garlic mashed potatoes. It was amazing? The steak was super tender and everything meshed well together for an amazing flavor! I will certainly be ordering this again during my week stay here.

Yelp
Interesting food (bison burria over polenta) was very tasty. The salmon was cooked well and also tasty. They brought a complimentary appetizer which was good although now we can't recall what it was. Something with crisped onions on top. The "cup" of posole was more like a bowl and satisfying, and a little too filling to accompany a meal unless you're a hearty eater. The food was a little slow to arrive, but maybe that's the price of having it prepared well. Service was friendly enough. Prices are not inexpensive but not through the roof. We were too full to eat dessert which was a shame because they looked good! Breakfast was a tad pricey for what it was. A modest-sized fruit plate was $23. The omelet was good but most places can knock out an omelet without messing it up. Good food, not inexpensive, but a nice break from the usual fare in this tourist area.

Yelp
They have some excellent southwest breakfast options. The classic breakfast was perfect amount of protein and veggies. The spring mix with tomatoes and pickled onions paired nicely. Yum

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised by our experience at Julia's. We ordered the bread service, the bone marrow, the shrimp empanadas, and the Birria short rib. The bread service and the bone marrow were great, although $22 for a single bone did feel steep, and I believe the bread was supposed to come with 3 butters and we were only served 2. The shrimp empanadas were delicious, but too spicy for us. The birria short rib was wonderful, and the polenta it came with needs to be highlighted as well! The service was kind, but very slow despite the place being essentially empty. Another detail we found funny was that the music kept stopping and randomly starting again. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back!

Yelp
Our breakfast was delicious but pricey. Thank goodness for complimentary breakfast cards. Make sure and ask the front desk for one. I had the skillet hash and is was delicious. The atmosphere is nice and has a cozy fireplace that you can sit by while you eat. The very small glass of orange juice is $8.00 so look for your drink prices. Service was excellent.

Yelp
We arrived very late to the hotel property and thankfully this restaurant was still open. We started off with some fabulous bourbon on the rocks and an Old Fashion. The waitress brought us a complimentary soup in a short glass. It was to die for!! A creamed zucchini soup that was full of flavor and perfection on your tongue! We then had a Cesar salad and the beet salad. They were both lovely, fresh and crisp. We decided on the tacos which were legit and made correctly per traditional recipes and the salmon. All the dishes were beautifully presented and we were thrilled to have such a delicious dinner after such a long commute to the hotel property. The next morning we had breakfast to start our day which was colorful and filling. The decor is bright, cheerful, clean and crisp with a fireplace that provides a perfect warming glow.

Yelp
I don't understand the negative reviews, maybe they are old? I had a 5 day stay at La Posada (the hotel where Julia's is located) and I ate at least one meal a day at Julia's, truly enjoying each and every one of them. The filet mignon with truffle mashed was delish, cooked perfect (loved it so much I got it two nights in a row). The cucumber jalapeño marg was my fav drink. The grain bowl for breakfast was a great healthy start to my day. The vibes in the front bar are so fun, historic and great art on the walls. Every server I had was attentive and friendly, giving me great recommendations for where to explore. I'm picky, and I thought this place was great!
google avatar

Robin H.

Yelp
Fatima and Eric the bartender are both great!! I highly recommend the poblano pepper...yum!! My husband raved about the ossobuco and the pecan caramel cheesecake. I What brought it over the top was the service and hospitality!! Highly recommend this for the food service and beautiful location!!

Yelp
Entrees were excellent. Service was amazing. Amber took care of us and was awesome with our kids.

Yelp
It was the book AMERICAN GHOST that brought us here and the name derives from the woman that lived here. Interesting history and great ambiance. I wish I could be equally complimentary of the food, but based on one exposure, I'd describe it as average food, overpriced. Just come for the ambiance.

Justin M.

Yelp
Based on the reviews I was hesitant to eat here. I was totally surprised by how fantastic the staff are here. The food was exceptional as to be expected at a Marriott. I had the classic breakfast but I subbed out the hash browns for pancakes. They where able to do the small child pancake with blueberries or chocolate chips. We arrived early so it was not too busy. The staff here are kind of limited in the amount of people working. Even relatively understaffed they work very hard to take care of all the people dining here. I am sure it can take longer when it is busy but it is not any fault of the staff.

Tessa M.

Yelp
Delicious food, great friendly service and very unique ambiance with the beautiful location and history of Julia, the resident ghost!

Mary R.

Yelp
Ate and drank here a few times over 4-days at hotel. Menu not extensive - but anyone could find something to fill a crave. Salads, soup, sandwiches, burgers, wings and breakfast were all fresh and tasty. Breakfast and brunch service was solid- and friendly. Not inexpensive- but consistent with the area. Nice outdoor sitting as well.

Yelp
This dinner exceeded expectations for a hotel property. The meat was cooked perfectly and the sauces were compelling. Service is prompt and fun. Expected to come in for convenience and left with one of the best meals of our trip.

Yelp
LOVELY SETTING -- Very disappointed in the management of this restaurant. :( We wanted to go somewhere to sit outside for brunch & we passed by this hotel & decided to give it a try. We ordered "olive & roasted vegetables $11" -- we got a small bowl of olives (she seemed VERY surprised & a little put out that we asked for the vegetables, which is the REASON we ordered... we had to WAIT while the kitchen COOKED the veggies...once they came out they were bland...won't order again.. THEN, on the bill, it charged $12!?) The Green Chile Stew was tasty, but a BOWL came with ONE tortilla. It is not enough for how much stew there was... I would expect that a cup would have 1 tortilla, but a bowl should have (at least) 2, in my (hungry!) opinion. :) When I questioned the bill, one of the wait staff said that he'd noticed on other occasions, for example, that an omelet said it had mushrooms but regularly didn't & that there were other items people had complained about the wrong amount being charged. Apparently, management had been told but the system has never been updated with correct prices.

Yelp
Lovely outdoor patio on a beautiful evening. A little pricey but good food. I had the New York Strip Steak cooked medium very good but should have asked for medium rare and told them to hold the sauce. The apricot margarita was excellent. Not too sweet with just a hint of apricot. I loved the birch tees next to the patio (my favorite tree) and they even had wisteria blooming.

Yelp
Amber is a great bartender. Very attentive and gives good recommendations. The place is absolutely beautiful and has a lovely ambiance to it. It has the a nice and simple menu. Love the flatbreads.

Yelp
I am so sad to have to write this ,but I must. What a complete disappointment! ! 2 beautiful , lovely women totally ignored by 3 young bartenders, while eating at the bar on Saturday night. I chose not to address the situation during my meal as I didn't want to ruin a lovely evening. My friend said ,at one point, " they are totally ignoring us" .That's not the Santa Fe I know and fell in love with.My steak had so much fat on it ,I left 10 pieces on the plate. My friend was enjoying hers throughly and again I didn't want to " Harsh our Mellow" But it was eating at me.. Pun Intended... I called 2 days later and calmly spoke to the manager , complete disappointment #2. After patiently listening to my respectful, disappointing recount of my experience at his Restaurant, he said "I'm so sorry but our computer is down and I can't offer you a refund" ( I didn't ask for a refund) " I'll be happy to take care of you next time,I'll give you my personal number "( which he didn't). What I would have appreciated was any gesture of good faith, a $25 gift card with a nice note. They're charging $40.00 for steak fritte, and serving $20.00 cocktails with terrible service ,I would expect them to right a wrong and appreciate the locals who support their business! P.S . the hotel staff were completely charming and gracious!!

James K.

Yelp
We arrived at 1 pm to a largely empty restaurant and given menus. 20 minutes later we left as we never saw our waiter again The place might be haunted. But there isn't a ghost of a chance that we will be back

Jeanine F.

Yelp
The all day menu was spectacular! Poke nachos, loaded tots, steak tacos and trio were absolutely superb! Karel was an awesome server with great suggestions!

Yelp
Julia has gotten had reviews here, but my experiences have always been pleasant. The staff is always friendly. It never seems to be busy. Food is delivered quickly. I haven't always felt that the food is the best that you can have in Santa Fe, but it's a foodie town, so that is a challenge for most places. This afternoon, we had a late lunch on the patio. I had Christmas tamales and a fish taco. The fish taco came with a spicy chipotle sauce. The tamales, as the name suggests, came New Mexico Christmas style. The pork was in a red chili sauce, and there were both red and green on the side. The food was delicious and the spice crept up on me. My wife enjoyed her southwest salad. She said it was so good she could have had another for dessert, but we went with the chocolate bourbon bread pudding, instead.

Love S.

Yelp
Absolutely loved Julia's. We came last night for our anniversary and sat outdoors I. The beautiful patio. It was lovely and the waitress was very sweet and helpful - we felt very attended to. I had the salad and had them add shrimp to it. I had the citrus non alcohol cocktail and it was wonderful in a cold brass mule cup - so cool! My husband had the chile and the other warm salad and was very impressed. Need to mention the beautiful decor and artwork in Julia's - it feel like a plush art gallery/home inside. We will definitely come back!

Yelp
The food was good. Drinks great. Service was exceptional. They should really change the music. Boomer soft rock oriented around three bands: The Eagles, Steve Miller Band, and Steely Dan. The most non-risk taking music you could ever hear. Kind of ruined the ambiance for me. Not spirited at all actually.
google avatar

Eva Maria T.

Yelp
Service was excellent, the drinks were good. Gentleman Jack and Coke and a prickly pear margarita. They had a fantastic live band playing Cuban music. The Mr ordered the Julia burger with Swiss, bacon, and caramelized onions and he enjoyed it. I had the chicken nachos with a side of queso. The queso was no bueno...Very similar to Taco Bell. While the potion was huge, the flavor was not.

Yelp
It's Restaurant Week in Santa Fe!! The Julia Restaurant lives up to that nicely. We were lavished in the most comfortable setting with three outstanding courses for lunch. It started with the right size arugula salad with ripe cherry tomatoes with a light nice vinaigrette. Followed by a main course of mouthwatering rib eye steak (perfectly cooked), shrimp, moist crisp spinach and mashed potatoes. The meat was only outdone by the most wonderful spinach. Last but hardly least, was a chocolate mousse with raspberries on top. The chocolate sang a yodel from its Scandinavian roots. We could not have asked for a better representation of Santa Fe Restaurant week. Bravo my Julia. Thanks for reading. Avram

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in here for a few drinks on Christmas. We ordered our first round and we were charged an additional $2 dollars more for my drink. My husband questioned the bartender about the price difference and the bartender was like...ohhh yeah that is wrong and changed it. My husband and I checked to make sure our additional few drinks were priced accordingly. The drinks I ordered were just okay and way overpriced. I am not sure about the food but the mountain of nachos were a big hit amoung the other patrons.

Renee S.

Yelp
Let's talk about a beautiful day. My wife and I eloped this morning and we had reservations in which we called ahead to say we were going to be about 30 minutes late. The staff at the front (female) said, "that's not going to be any problem. We show up and the very problematic, extremely rude and pessimistic manager named Jason says to us, "we're going to need you out of here by 7 o'clock because we have another party coming to this table." the nerve, unprofessionalism, extreme disregard and disrespect we were shown by Jason.... Was unbelievable. To imagine he has been chosen to be a manger of this beautiful place is a disgrace. Please don't waste your time, money, or happy moment IF JASON IS PRESENT The front staff does not communicate and it's very obvious JASON is full of it. Sorry about the power move you thought you were showing. All I see is a restaurant manager who cannot handle the business. Jason and staff do not communicate, are cold and rude. I was married today and this manager Jason made EVERYTHING, completely made our wedding dinner insignificant with his comments and completely unprofessional with his words. Completely disappointed in the restaurant we were recommended.

Yelp
We're staying at this hotel and the past two mornings their breakfast service has been pretty bad. Luckily today we had a great experience! Salma did a wonderful job!

Kate H.

Yelp
We went at the recommendation of the resort checkin. Maybe we went at the wrong time of day but this was awful. Servers were kind but the kitchen and bar did not deliver. I had the grain salad which had no actual grain (farro). It seemed they substituted edamame? The chicken I added to it was very obviously old or maybe even frozen. I've never had a soggy chicken breast before today. My husband had tacos and they were ok, but my chicken gave us pause for those too. They did a great chicken finger and fries for my child. The jalapeño cucumber margarita came out with none of the listed ingredients and the base tasted like the cheap store bought kind. The remake they did was even worse - suddenly in a pint glass instead of the former low ball and still had no tajin. We didn't make a stink and just paid and left but it's such a shame. The courtyard is beautiful and could be amazing. Hopefully the stay at the hotel is better!

Michael B.

Yelp
Loved eating and staying at this hotel. The food was delicious and our server Carol made the experience one we won't forget...

Scott S.

Yelp
Service was absolutely horrendous. I realize there is a shortage of workers right now, but if you can't serve people, don't seat them. We started out ordering drinks and after an inordinate amount of time, we went over to the bar ourselves. Ordering and getting the food was another ridiculous amount of time. Service took so long, the table next to us simply left after ordering and not getting anything. If you go, plan on a few hours to finish your meal. On the bright side, the setting on the patio was beautiful. The food was pretty good too, but not worth the non existent service.
google avatar

Alley R.

Yelp
I really really wanted to love this place. We went here to honor Auntie Julia...Alley loves her Auntie. The hotel and restaurant is very nice but.......the Auntie Julia's namesake, the Juliarita was lack luster. The bar tender stated "you got the last one for the night....i can't make anymore." Honestly he couldn't make this one. All one could taste was the tequila and nothing else, no apricot anything. Instead of being honest and giving us the drink for a discount he charged us full price!!! We love our Auntie Julia, in this life and her last but sorry, we won't be back, we will honor her ghost by leaving her favorite brownie in front of her favorite haunt. I love you Aunt Julia - Alley

Yelp
This review is for what I call the Staab House, a bar in this hotel with an English library decor. It started our first night out in Santa Fe, and brought me down more than when my Doc told me I would need Cataract Surgery. Service at the bar was cold, deadpan and impersonal. The patrons appeared snooty, Waspish preppy, very Episcopalian (Whatever that means), and they looked right through me as if they were SS, and I was a Jew living in Warsaw in 1940. We were not welcome at the Staab House. That was quite evident. We quickly downed our drinks, paid our bill, and took off with a large sigh of relief. I had escaped the Gestapo and would live another day, never to return to the Staab House, Julia's, or this hotel.

Yelp
We stayed at the hotel, La Posada during our trip for 4 days. The service was decent; friendly staff and low occupancy. The food; easily the worst restaurant I've eaten at in the past year and certainly the worst hotel food I have ever had. Breakfast; the burrito is microwaved scrambled eggs and potatoes (not fresh either) in a flour tortilla. The eggs and ham plate was the only breakfast plate I could stomachs. You really can't mess up two eggs and a piece of ham. Oh you can? Yes, it was $16 for two eggs a piece of ham and clearly microwaved potatoes. For lunch, the meatloaf was edible and so was the burger. Still, nothing to be desired. The food quality tastes and looks like it was ordered from a mass distributor, Sysco, pre made, heated and served. Also noted, the NY steak is $20 for lunch and $28 for dinner. Exact same plate, however.

Yelp
A very nice place to eat especially outside in summer. Make a reservation to insure there is a table for you,

Yelp
Lunch: Reservation system was down, no biggie; not too busy and we were seated immediately. We had just checked into the resort and we had a simply amazing lunch outdoors. We ordered two tacos, the pork stew, lobster Mac-n-cheese along with two different nicely sized and delicious margaritas. Service was great and the food was even better! Dinner: Far from the same lunch experience. Reservation system was still down and it appears that we may have been given someone else's table. Good for us but not so good for them. Waitress was prompt and courteous. We ordered drinks (cocktails for now and wine to come with the meal), appys and our meals. Appys were fantastic! 30 minutes from the time we ordered, we were told one of our main courses was no longer available! Unclear why this was not known when we ordered...that's when the wine I ordered to come with my steak came. We decided to simply share the steak as our main course. Oh yeah that glass of Cabernet (although a proper full pour) came in the smallest glass imaginable, just not what we would expect from a restaurant located within the La Posada de Santa Fe. We cannot say enough about the food, the chef is on point! If they can simply get the other parts of the restaurant to step up, it will become a goto spot in Santa Fe!

Yelp
Having been here many times before, I thought thanksgiving dinner would be great. It was terrible! We had to wait over an hour past our reservation. The food was adequate, but very flavorful, service was slow and dreadful, we were never even offered dessert from the fixed menu. The manager adjusted the bill only after I complained. Don't waster you time, So many great options in Santa Fe that will enhance you visit.
google avatar

Sabrina K.

Yelp
Could have been better... for the price!! Plates are small with no carbs. Scallops plate at $32 was literally 3 scallops with ten tomatoes and sauce. Ask for bread or they won't bring it. Arugula salad was tasty - we replaced with romaine. Roasted chicken was dry - about as tasty as a grocery roasted chicken - grilled romaine was awful & with no taste green sauce & beans - interesting combo? Waiter never checked on us after our food arrived? There was a wedding party so that could have been an issue... The entertainment and location was really quite lovely. The jalapeño margarita was surprisingly good. For $100+ I'd stick to a salad, appetizers and drinks.

Yelp
Staying at La Posada so we decided to try Julia's. Not a very good choice on our part. The service was horrible and the food was just OK. There were 5 of us including one child. When the food was delivered they only delivered the two entrees and two appetizers. The salad and the chicken tenders was delivered about 5-10 minutes later. Needless to say the first round was not hot just lukewarm.
google avatar

Steven S.

Yelp
The food is okay, but the service is lousy. Even worse, when I asked to speak to a manager, some employee who was clearly not a manager came out and basically implied that we were trying to get free food by complaining. There are a lot of eating options in Santa Fe, no need to eat here where you're treated like a criminal for complaining about service.
google avatar

Jordan W.

Yelp
First off, I love La Posada. I even had my wedding here. By all appearances this restaurant is nice and upscale, unfortunately looks can be deceiving. Our server was Robert (a server mentioned in several other reviews detailing his subpar service). Unfortunately I did not consult Yelp prior to eating here or I would have been prepared for bad service. We started by ordering drinks -- a glass of wine, a cocktail, and an Arnold Palmer. 20 minutes later, we had not received our drinks. When another server came out to refill our water we mentioned we had not yet received our drinks we ordered. He said he would go check and bring them out. A few minutes later the wine and cocktail arrived but no Arnold Palmer. We asked for it again and a few minutes later it arrived. Seriously?! A drink consisting of Iced tea and lemonade took the longest to arrive? Little did we know this was only the beginning... After enjoying the ambiance of the outdoor patio, we decided to order some dinner. I ordered a burger cooked medium. What I got was a dry, "hockey-puck style" burger well-done. My mom, a crab cake connoisseur, got an entree she gets here often -- the crab cake salad, but the crab cakes were made differently this time. Instead of being the usual delicious crab cakes as they normally are when she eats here, they were blackened Cajun-spiced crab cakes that were inedible. When she told the server about it he told us that another person had complained about them earlier as well. Upon taking them back he said he would take them off the bill. At the end of our meal when the bill arrived he had not taken anything off the bill. She questioned him about it and he said he forgot and took the bill back. When he brought it again, rather than taking the item off of the bill he just took $8 off a $20 entree. An entree that THEY messed up doesn't qualify to be comped? I have never been to a restaurant where if something wasn't prepared to your liking they still make you pay for it! Most restaurants would remove the item without question. Overall, I cannot recommend eating here. For the price, the food and service are subpar. Providing good service is one of those things that doesn't just make a little difference...it makes ALL the difference.

Yelp
I think this place is getting an unfair shake with some of the negative postings. We sat outside (which is absolutely lovely and super relaxing!) and had chicken and soup and salad. We also had a shrimp appetizer. It was all tasty! We had margaritas and beers. They had live music and it was the perfect vibe...chill and the lady had a beautiful voice. The prices are on par with what other restaurants in that area offer. This place is at least worth trying for snacks and a drink.
google avatar

Mook S.

Yelp
We saw the negative reviews for the restaurant but decided to take our chances and have dinner here, mostly because we wanted to see the Staab house. To our surprise the food and service were excellent. There were a few other groups there for dinner as well and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Our server was very gracious and gave us a quick tour of the Staab House and Social Club after dinner. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
I'm surprised there are not more current reviews than this. The best part of this is the setting, day or night. Come, take a picture, or have a drink and leave. Horribly run restaurant. It's like your speaking a different language. Either the waiter can't hear, or remember, or the kitchen can't interpret or plate what you ask for. Waited forever to get a menu, with very few tables occupied. Whatever I asked for, I asked for twice from the waiter. Food...mediocre, it's an atmosphere place for breakfast or lunch, but you would think it would be more elegant in preparation and delivery. Sad, we like this once.

Yelp
Stopped in here as it is in our hotel and the menu looked good. We tried the green chile stew which was yummy. Decided on tapas for dinner so we could try a variety of food. Hands down favorite was Croquetas de Pollo Ahumado. Very flavorful. The service was not the best as we had very little attention and waited over 10 minutes for anything The wine list was outdated as well as they had several wines listed that they didn't actually have to offer. Overall not my favorite.

Yelp
Nice seating - indoors and out. My breakfast was tasty (if overpriced) - I had the Grand Marnier French toast. Service was quick, which I appreciated, as I had a meeting to get to. However, my recommendation is that if you have time, walk the 2 minutes down the street and you can eat a wonderful breakfast food in the downtown for a lot less money.

Yelp
Food was good, but probably the worst service I've ever experienced. If Robert shows up at your table, get up and leave.

Yelp
Outside patio is stunningly beautiful and relaxing. Staff is always extremely nice and accommodating. Food was delicious. We'll be back!

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place but there was no way I could have. My dinner experience here was atrocious. Our waiter, I believe his name was Robert, acted as if doing his job was a burden. Not only was the service the worst I've ever experienced, the food was nothing to write home about either. The fact that this disappointment is in such a nice hotel blows me away. Unless you want to be accompanied by flies and get horrible service for your dinner, I suggest eating elsewhere.

Yelp
I specifically signed up for yelp because of this restaurant. The service was deplorable to say the least. The food was mediocre and not worth the price. The waiter, Robert, never came back to take my drink order, I had to go to the bar for my drink. There were flies that annoyed us constantly. I am from Santa Fe and I am embarrassed that this place represent this beautiful city.
