I stayed here for two nights back in April for my birthday. Since it's an overdue review, I'll have to admit I don't remember a lot of the fine details regarding my stay. So I'll write about what I do remember. The staff was very friendly from the moment we checked in -bringing our bags to our room, to the moment we checked out -thanking us for the stay and offering to call a cab. I remember I missed breakfast and they allowed me to gather some food from the breakfast area to bring up to my room. The hotel itself is clean, very beautiful, and in a great location. From the hotel we walked to the Eiffel Tower, surrounding restaurants, and if we weren't so tired probably could've walked to The Louvre as well. We never felt unsafe being out so late at night. Someone had mentioned in an earlier review that the front door opened automatically during the late hours but when we returned later in the evening it was actually the opposite; the staff had to let us in.
A few teeny tiny cons. I unfortunately never had a chance to check out the rooftop terrace so I can't comment on that but I did use their gym which was a little too hot. Because the thermostat was like the one in our room I thought I'd be able to get some cool air in there but couldn't; cutting my workout short. Aside from that, there was the TV in our room. Obviously not a lot of options to watch in English but thankfully it's a smart TV and after a very long while we were able to cast some movies from our tablet onto the TV. Just a heads up you might be out of luck if you plan on casting from an Apple device, which we initially tried and failed. And finally, I did note that it was my birthday in the reservation and again while checking in. I'm not sure what I expected; a complimentary drink or dessert, a note card maybe. Still none of these small things were a deal breaker.
Overall it was a great and comfortable stay. I've already recommended this hotel to a few people and would consider it again in the future.
