Old style atmosphere with solid quality food. The bread used for the fried shrimp poboy is the first part of the magic. Crispy crust that flakes easily exposing the moist perfect bread hidden within. The second part is the fresh shrimp, fried to perfection. Having just had a fried shrimp poboy at another well known Lafayette establishment yesterday, I can say there’s is no way to pick a clear winner other than to say everyone wins having food like this to chose from. Will definitely be back to try that fried catfish I saw on the table nearby.

I usually never review on locations but I came to this place in the past and the service and the customer respect was a lot better in the past then now. My recommendation is to learn how to treat customers with respect not treat them like their lower than you .The way you talk to somebody will affect you in the future. My recommendation do not choose this place at this moment until they fix the customer service.

Google
The food here is so good. The meat pie and crawfish boudin ball appetizers are delicious. We had sweet tea and lemonade. For dinner we had the Alligator PoBoy and friend shrimp PoBoy. So tasty. The place had a cool look to it and the owner (assuming the lady we spoke to was the owner) was very friendly and made our visit a fun one. Take a trip here when you are in the area.

Bunch of trash or dirt inside my cup when untopped.. $16.&change for 1/2 shrimp poboy small fry and dirty drink or filthy drink.. cashier was nice ig but really awkward vibe from all the guest.. SMH.. won’t be back there ever!! And telling all my friends not to either.! Maybe that’s what you all wanted anyway🤷🏽‍♂️

When you aren’t home, you appreciate, especially during these difficult times for the warm welcome and embrace that comfort food can provide. Julien’s is an unassuming place, but don’t be fooled. The welcome and the service is as if you were visiting with family. The menu is both traditional and varied. The Alligator Sausage po-boy and Kurley Qs were delicious - especially when paired with a bottomless cup of sweet tea. Take a moment. Pull up a chair. Stay a spell and enjoy!

The po boys are very tasty and the homade potato rounds are excellent. A couple of things to note: I wish I had known that the potato rounds were unsalted before leaving the drive through. This made them a little bland...I would recommend using seasoning salt to really bring out the flavor. When it comes to po boys, fresh bread is everything. My bread didn't seem to be that day's, but it certainly wasn't bad and it wouldn't deter me from purchasing again. Now, here's what would. Usually po boys come with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. I like to add jalapeño and onions. In this instance, it didn't (I believe it came with one veggie...not sure which one). I added lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles and jalapeños. Each veggie addition cost $1.25 each. Yikes! Come on y'all! Usually veggies do not cost extra (they certainly don't at Subway, Quiznos or Jimmy John's). Now, I get it. You're not a huge national franchise and you have to recoup some costs. However, $1.25 buys a whole head of lettuce, a couple tomatoes, a whole onion, and a whole jar of jalapeños. 50 cents a piece seems reasonale. Don't make the customer feel ripped of. Give them value. I enjoyed the food, however, I can't afford to spend $20 on a po boy (especially when I can get the same thing somewhere else for about $12) on a regular basis so I won't be back.

The food was great I would recommend anyone to go there I know I will be back there again soon

Google
Finally decided to try Julian's Poboys...one word, amazing! I had the shrimp poboy and it was delicious. The bread was the best and the shrimp were fresh and fried to perfection. We also tried the Wild Turkey poboy, also delicious. Don't forget the onion strings. The best poboys we've had in Lafayette to date. The staff were great also.
google avatar

Yelp
The best shrimp poboy in the area. Very large shrimp batted right, fried perfectly and excellent poboy bread. It's my go to spot and they never miss.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food, warm and welcoming mom and pop atmosphere and phenomenal customer service. Found this place through yelp while on a road trip and decided to detour to give it a try. We will definitely be making this a regular stop when we are passing through.
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
So a co-worker ordered some food from here thinking it was a good idea. Well it actually was a horrible one. Although the rest at the school weren't impressed by their poboys I'll stick to what I ordered the Shrimp Poboy. I took one bite and that bite came with hair. Never knew hair was part of a shrimp poboy. So anyway I'm so done with Julien's. Yelp so needs a 0 rating.
google avatar

Yelp
While passing through, we found this lunch place and so glad we did. It was great! Not just po boys which is what we were hoping for. A nice selection of po boys, platters, and more.
google avatar

Janice A.

Yelp
MY food was good enough but I am pretty concerned about the racist activities described in the reviews.
google avatar

Phillip D.

Yelp
This place is gross. I found hair in my food and when I asked to get it replaced the owner made a scene, raised his voice, and refused to replace it. Don't go here. Period.
google avatar

Yelp
As advertised. Wonderful worth the stop. Order the -1/2 shrimp grilled & 1/2 shrimp fried Po-boy. Then smack yourself in the face. Wow! Is this good. Slather on some Julien's Po-Boy hot sauce and your good. Wow. When we pulled up locals joyfully entered & a fire truck with happy eaters departed. We will be back to try the oysters. They had sold out. Warm service and delicious food. We used the Yelp $3 Check in discount. Yippie!

Yelp
Two ways to tell a neighborhood joint is legit: 1. 5-0 parked outside. Popos know good food. 2. The place may be empty inside, but lots of locals are waltzing in and out with their to-go orders. We stopped in en route to NOLA, and my trusty Yelp app found Julien's. I wasn't too hungry just yet, so I noshed on crawfish balls (essentially boudin balls but filled with spiced crawfish, onions and ooey, gooey sauce. The po-boys are served with house made chips (what we back home refer to as "Texas Taters.") The woman working this quaint restaurant was a charming and sweet ol' lady. She even asked me if I was Cajun. "No, I just like it spice-ay." They serve beer and have enough cool signs and old memorabilia on the walls to keep you entertained.
google avatar

C L.

Yelp
Great shrimp poboys! Don't forget the garlic hot sauce. Nice staff. Not for off freeway.
google avatar

Kim K.

Yelp
Just what we wanted and needed. After a day and half of driving we were looking for some good PoBoys... Well Julien's delivered! This "hole in the wall" restaurant has shrimp that was fresh and flavorful with French baguettes that crunched on the outside and yummy soft on the inside. Wonderful experience and sweet staff. Def recommend..

Yelp
Com'On , you can't beat this place, the family That owns this place for what the last 25/30 years Superior humans with kindness, And the food The rest can just stop now, you'll never beat Julians Italian Stallion

Yelp
Worth the 1.5 miles off I-10 for sure! 1/2 burger was tasty and served on the PO' boy bread, perfect mix of soft and crispy. Husband had the fried shimp po' boy and loved it. Ask for the spicy tarter sauce, he went thru several containers of it and asked for some to take home!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious po-boys! We tried the following: - Ragin Cajun Po-boy: a ham that has been soaked in cajun crab boil brine, and sliced thinly and into the po-boy, with a side of curly Q's, delicious. - Ribeye Po-boy: a nice and juicy ribeye, perfect seasoning, and just so delicious, with a side of sweet potato fries (which was decent, not as good as the curly Q's) I would most definitely eat here again, they are delicious!
google avatar

Bobby D.

Yelp
Gave this place a 1 star because I couldn't give it any lower. Easily the worst poboy joint in Lafayette. Low quality ingredients at gourmet prices.
google avatar

Yelp
Best catfish PO boy we've ever had - delightful service and drive through option definitely will be our go-to stop on road trips through Louisiana!

Yelp
I'm a foreigner living in Northern California and I'd long heard that the Louisianais were quite serious about their food. So when the opportunity to take a three week roadtrip around the United States came up I made sure I got to spend some time in LA. After destroying my iPad and getting a replacement at the local BestBuy I was hungry and I'd eaten all the other 'favourites' like gumbo, jambalaya etc. during my stay in New Orleans but I had yet to have a Po-boy. Yelp usage here is not like it is at home but several web searches validated my suspicions about this place and I let my car navigate me to Po-boy heaven. Julien's is on the end of an unassuming strip mall, it is a cute, well maintained and spotlessly clean restaurant. There were three ladies behind the counter quickly and efficiently taking orders. I decided to get two half size Po-boys and went for the classic Shrimp as well as the seductively sounding pork chop one. I also ordered up some home made potato chips called 'fried rounds' and a soda. The first thing that struck me was the bread. The roll was soft and very light and buttery yet had a decent crumb structure that gave it a lovely tender chewiness which then broke down and melted in with the contents as you ate the sandwich. The sandwich had been expertly structured with a thin layer of mayonnaise protecting the bread from the moisture of the contents. This meant the sandwich remained in tact as you ate your way through it. The shrimp was deep fried in a crunchy batter to perfection with the flesh moist and tender. However the main event for me was the pork chop. A thin slice of boneless pork loin had been *perfectly* cooked and was moist and full of flavour. In addition to the mayo and lettuce there were a generous portion of pickled onions that had been cooked gently so they were soft, sweet and sharp all at the same time. This combination elevated this sandwich to the ethereal. As I drove back to the freeway I savoured every single bite and before I knew it I had turned around and went back for another pork chop po-boy. Oh boy. The service was extremely friendly, the restaurant clean and tidy which extended to the restrooms and the amount of traffic this place was getting showed me that I wasn't the only one to consider this a five star joint.

Yelp
We were traveling between New Orleans and Houston. Stopped in because of the yelp reviews. From the outside it doesn't look like much. Our group ordered Poboys: catfish, grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, and Ragin Cajun and a Muffalatta. The ragin Cajun was mine. Very tasty. Has a little bit of heat to it which made it yummy. My only complaint is that it could have used just a bit more meat. Both of the shrimp Poboys were eaten fully and declared delicious. The catfish has a little kick to it. My wife couldn't finish it all but she liked it. My daughter liked her muffalatta. Overall, good food delivered fairly quickly. Great lunch for us while passing the
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by and ordered the Cajun Kicker PoBoy, and a side of Onion rings. Both were delicious! I definitely recommend stopping by and eating here.
google avatar

Carolyn A.

Yelp
The Poboys are very small, tasteless and mostly empty except for some cabbage and a glob of mayo. There are so many better options in Lafayette! Don't waste your time or money. Also, the tables are always sticky. The place doesn't feel clean.
google avatar

Doris M.

Yelp
The last time I ate there my wife and I felt like we were unwanted. Servers were not nice to the point of being rude. The food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Ole Time Grocery by far better food. Don't waste your time unless you enjoy being treated like dirt.

Tiffany F.

Yelp
I wish this thing had a 0-star rating. 1. the place was in a very sketchy area. 2. My food wasn't made right. They refused to remake my order after I asked polity (I worked in fast food in high school I know mistakes are made. I wasn't mad.) Then I to see the manager or owner. He comes out and tells me to eat it as it is and they were not going to make it again. It wasn't even what I ordered in the first place. Took forever to get a refund for their overpriced food.I'm still shocked because I never had this happen EVER! 3. After all this, I find out that the owner bullied a pregnant woman who has morning sickness and had gotten sick in his parking lot. Yelled at her and made HER clean it even after she explained that it was morning sickness and was told that he didn't care if she was. First and LAST time ever going there. Just do yourself a favor and go to or order Acadiana Poboys & Cajun Cuisine from Waitr where the food is seasoned as any cajun would, more food for your buck, AND where they give you no trouble if its made wrong.

Yelp
Again, the Yelp App came through with flying colors. Had to be a little careful navigating some really narrow back streets in order to find a place to park the truck. We both had the Catfish Po Boy with cole slaw and an order of extremely thin and extremely good onion rings. The Onion Rings were actually free due to my check in on Foursquare but the waitress had no idea what to do or how to do it so she just took them off of the bill. Nice small town and about a local as you could get. One small complaint is the fact that they do not have lemons, only lemon juice packets. I find that a bit strange. Located in an unassuming strip mall, the place was fairly well packed even though it was after 8pm when we stopped.
google avatar

Yelp
My family loves this place and all it's crazy signs! The food is great also! My sister and I stopped in today for lunch. She had the shrimp poboy and I had the soft shell crab poboy. My crab was perfectly cooked with a crispy outside and I was just sorry I could only get 1/2! The bread was fresh and delicious. I would have enjoyed a little more sauce on my sandwich, but that didn't keep me from enjoying my lunch. Our waitress was friendly and the owner stepped out briefly to greet us. We will definitely be back for another delicious and satisfying lunch!
google avatar

Alice T.

Yelp
The first time I had soft shell crab was here. The first Po Boy I ate was here. It was worth it. Their Po Boys come in half or whole sandwiches. I got a half soft shell crab sandwich which only comes in a half. I wish it came in as a whole because it was that good. The crab was deep fried and crunchy, but not greasy or oily in anyway. I also almost didn't want to eat it because it was so cute and I felt bad eating a whole crab. It was delicious though. My friend got the catfish po boy and the fish was so fresh, I believe they have a pond out back where they fished it out of. This is definitely has a small town local mom and pop feel to it. Our waitress was super friendly! I hope to return here some time the next time I'm in Lafayette.
google avatar

Penny J.

Yelp
On way to Houston realized I didn't get my poboy craving satisfied while in New Orleans. Well I'm from there so picking about my eats. I called juliens to order 2 shrimp poboys... delicious! Bread not the typical poboy bread but it may even be better. Service so so. The woman who answers phone is either rude or lacks customer service skills. Maybe a little of both. Not knowledge on yelp or coupon I had Frim yelp. Said 'he does what he wants doesn't tell me anything.' Again the shrimp was great. Well seasoned and tender. Wished I'd gotten a large.
google avatar

Yelp
I came into Julien's last week on my bicycle. When I asked the hostess if she had a place for me to put it, she replied "outside". When I asked her again, nicely if I could park it just for five minutes so that I could get a po boy to go, she said "outside". When I started to say something else, her response was "outside". While I understand that some places are not "bike friendly" I can't remember the last time, if ever, that I was spoken to so rudely at a restaurant. There are plenty of ways for a hostess to handle a situation like this, but this was was about the worst.... and the letter of complaint I wrote to the management was not answered. I will not be back. Ever.

Yelp
My first non-home-cooked meal in my most recent visit was to Julien's. I'd never been before, by my bf told me that his BIL really liked it. I was a little skeptical as I am every time we try a new place in Lafayette - it's a little dark and non-descript on the outside. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and fell a little in love with their burger. The cheeseburger was huge, juicy and OH-MY-GOODNESS served up on delicious po-boy bread - so fresh and delicious! A little bit of spice is cooked up into the beef, and you get a choice of 4 cheeses to add to the burger. The fries are also served up hot and fresh, thick-cut. and go great with the extra seasoning on the table. I struggled to eat the whole thing, but I'm no quitter! I loved every last, miserable bite. Service was friendly and expedient. Everything we needed was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. The only thing that I didn't love is that on the menu, it says you only get one free refill before being charged again. Fortunately the drink cups are pretty big.
google avatar

Yelp
Let's see...Bacon wrapped shrimp, check! Alligator PoBoy sandwich, check! Such great food here and the service was on point. For a little hole in the wall Cajun Style place in Layette, they do it right!

Yelp
I have mixed feelings about this place and maybe for the first time in a long time, cleanliness is going to be part of my rating. So that being said let's get to the..... ambiance: Strip mall, no windows you can see out of, stained carpet floors, looks like it was decorated by your dead grandmother. OK, I can get by all of this without an issue so I will save the best for last. Service: I had not issues here. The waitress we had was exceptionally friendly and paid attention to us when our drinks needed a refill. Constant chatterbox to here coworkers but paid attention. Only issue I had is that I ordered two sandwiches, for my family thinking I would cut off a bit of each one for the kids. I did not notice on the menu that they are only served as halves (not sure why), but it ended up being a problem because of not enough food. I can get passed that though, because this miscommunication was my fault, but she did miss an opportunity to point that out to use when we specified that we were sharing them with the kids and at making a larger sale. Oh well, my fault not theirs. Food This is where they do themselves both some favors and some foot shooting. We ordered Crawfish kickers: Boudain-ball esque, except with crawfish. Very good but pricey for serving only 4 on your plate. Shrimp en brouchette po' boy: Shrimp wrapped in bacon on a po'boy. Tasted great but I do have to reiterate the fact that they are only served as a half. Comes with 4 shrimp on that half, could probably use 1 more to fill out the bread. Gator Sausage po'boy: Exceptionally good. Never had gator sausage before but it was very tasty. Not much meat in the po'boy and could defintely use some more (and serve also as a whole) but what was there was delicious. Cleanliness: A portion of me feels exceptionally guilting for docking a place based on its customers inability to pee in a toilet, but it was pretty damn bad. Once of the bathrooms was out of order (women's) and the other was essentially a room used in its entirety as a commode. I am pretty sure there was more pee on the floor than in the toilet itself. It was worse than several truck station / public park bathrooms that we had to visit along the way to Houston. If they scrub this place down, put a little more meat in their po'boys (20% more) and figure out how to offer wholes and halve for all of their sandwiches, I could kick the rating up a notch. Crazy thing is though, I would order it to go the next time I roll through. It was really tasty and I think I could get by if the dining room was my automobile.

Yelp
Awwwwwsome! I haven't had a poboy from here in 20 years. The Cajun shrimp poboy is just like I remember. The best I've ever had. Service was excellent but wait was a little long. Lunch time is quite busy.
google avatar

Enrico P.

Yelp
On my only visit, two women in their early twenties who were high on some sort of stimulant were entranced in a very loud argument with the waitress about the service they received. One of the women said, "This service was terrible, and I should know, I managed a Sbarro's." I supposed it's all a matter of perspective, but I thought Julien's was much better than Sbarro's (although I hate Sbarro's -- see my review of the Travel Plaza in Sloatsburg, NY, where that hatred began. I had the shrimp po-boy, my friend got a roast beef and some mini meat-pies, and the food was great. The service was better than Sbarro's.

Yelp
There are two locations, one in Lafayette and one off of Hwy 90 in Broussard. Their cheesy bread is something like I've never tasted before. Not sure what is in it, but it's fabulous! Their sides are huge, and can easily feed four people. They have a bacon wrapped shrimp poboy that will have your taste buds tingling!

Mitchell M.

Yelp
Owner's actions caused me to never buy a thing for this expensive place. I'm all about supporting locally owned restaurants.... but his recent unnecessary actions towards a pregnant lady is unacceptable to me.
google avatar

Marcos H.

Yelp
We found this place on Yelp driving from Orlando to Houston. The neighborhood it was in is the type you try not to drive around at night in. However, this place was ridiculously good! I ordered the Ragin' Cajun po-boy (ham marinated in cajun crawfish boil) and my wife ate the pork chop po-boy. Life-changing meal! It was one of those meals that you eat everything until your full, but the food is so good, you want to keep eating. Yup, one of those. The food was so delicious, we just might have to drive the 5 hours or so back to Lafayette to eat there again because there is NOTHING like this in the city of Houston. Trust me, I've tried them all.
google avatar

Annie C.

Yelp
If the food won't turn your stomach the bad attitudes of the staff and owner will. In my family we always joke about the impossibility of a bad shrimp poboy. Shrimp, French bread, lettuce, tomato, mayo. Sounds fool proof. This place has done the impossible. The shrimp poboy is lackluster (pale little shrimp and old lettuce). The service is apathetic at best and resentful and rude at worst. This establishment does not want your money if you support the poor and disenfranchised. Good people who like good food beware!!! Hit up Old Tyme or Pop's Poboys for a real treat!
google avatar

Zoe Z.

Yelp
Ambiance- 3 (10%) Standard Cleanliness- 2 (20%) We ordered take out, but the place smelled like old grease when we went in. Service- 1 (25%) There was an older lady who took our order- she was somewhat rude (maybe she was in a bad mood) Food- 2 (35%) Juliens used to be a great spot for poboys- I was looking forward to going. This is not so much the case anymore. We got two shrimp poboys, an oyster poboy, a family onion ring, and fries. The shrimp poboys had 4 small shrimp on them- so pretty much was a bread sandwich, the 4 oysters on the other poboy were the size of my thumbnail. Their onion rings were tiny and strawlike, and the fries straight from the freezer cooked in old grease. Not a fan- AT ALL. Value- 1 (10%) Their pricing is not extravagant, but it really doesn't matter because their food is not there.
google avatar

Candice G.

Yelp
Best customer service. Got our food Togo. It was delicious and the cashier helped me out to the car. Looks closed from the outside but don't let the appearance fool you.

N S.

Yelp
Possibly one of the driest shrimp Poboys I've ever had. Very bland and the shrimp was over cooked. The French fries were fresh and good though. This place also seems racist. There are many offensive posters throughout the place.
google avatar

Ssixty F.

Yelp
The waitress didn't know about the yelp coupon or what that even was. But she compt our fries anyway. Always good poboys and jalapeno cheesy bread, always cool people both locations.

Darin M.

Yelp
We were greeted quickly and in a very friendly way. I had a Ragin Cajun; companion had the Italian Stallion. The bread was excellent - good crunch on the outside and a great flavor. The sandwiches were filling without being too much and the chips they were served with were fresh and salted just right. Both of us really liked our poboys and we'll definitely go back again to try another style. Nice place, nice people, great food.

Mariam O.

Yelp
We stopped at this place on our way to NOLA, because everywhere else was closed. I ordered the shrimp poboy and my husband ordered the veal cutlet. Both were supposedly favorites. The sandwiches came with some broken-to-pieces chips out of a bag. Each poboy consisted of the protein of choice, tasteless bread, a little bit of lousy lettuce and some mayo out of jar. The veal cutlet didn't taste like anything and was disgusting in my opinion. The only good thing was the shrimps that were big and fresh. There was nothing original or interesting about any of the ingredients or flavors at this place.

Bridget M.

Yelp
Always good and fresh....very fun environment and the owner is soooooo entertaining....
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
I have eaten a scary amount of po' boys over the years, but I don't think I've ever enjoyed a restaurant po' boy as much as I did from Julien's. The bread was amazing- flaky and crusty, soft but slightly chewy. Hard-fried, cornmeal-battered shrimp. Lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Simple and perfect. Outside of the ones my family makes, I haven't had better.
google avatar

Alethea A.

Yelp
Well, either the Yelpers that have reviewed this place are related to the owner, or they were high when they ate here because this restaurant does not do anything to garner a three, let alone 4, star review! We were driving through Louisiana and needed some food. We had alligator on the brain, but couldn't seem to find any, so I turned to trusty Yelp to help me make a decision. After seeing all the great reviews, we decided to make a stop here. Julien's is located in a run down strip center with little parking, but that is ok... I am not here for the location, only the food. I walk in and ask for a menu because we are travelling with our dogs and not all of us will be able to eat inside. After lots of debate, my hubster and I decide on the shrimp po-boy, one son gets one as well, another gets a hamburger po-boy and the daughter chooses a fried chicken basket. When I ordered the po-boy, the waitress (and owner's daughter) tells me that it will have only 8 shrimp on it because they use jumbo shrimp. I don't think much of this, and tell her that is fine. Well, when I get the po-boy, the shrimp do not look jumbo in size to me. I have never had one that is so lacking on shrimp... it was really sad. Then, I asked for lemons for my shrimp, only to be told that they do not have any, only lemon juice. Really?!? I have never been anywhere that serves fish or shrimp that doesn't have lemons. I also asked for some tarter sauce and was told that there was a charge for that... My sons also complained about the amount of 'fillings' in their po-boys... it was more bread and shredded lettuce than anything. My daughter's chicken was ok. It came with a salad that looked to have day old shredded lettuce and a cut tomato on it... very unappetizing! The best thing I had was the homemade fries. They are cut very thin and fried to crispy goodness. THAT was the only thing that I enjoyed. DO NOT go here expecting a great meal.

Yelp
People of Color stay away. This places makes a halfway decent sandwich, but you better be white before you set foot in there. Unless you're the cook. The manager, some angry blonde woman, threw a fit after my wife changed our sons diaper in the disgusting and dirty bathroom. She accused my wife of smearing baby poop all over the bathroom. Yea, we got nothing better to do than to smear baby poop around the already nasty bathroom. She then told us that "you people" need to learn how to behave in public, etc. I think we all know what she means by "you people". Then she threw us out of the so-called restaurant. We high-tailed out it out of there before her cousins in the white sheets came for us. I spent my entire life in the South and never experienced this anywhere. You can find a equal or better poboy somewhere else without the angst of this place.
google avatar

Ed P.

Yelp
1 child got the action cheeseburger, 2 got the alligator sausage poboy and I got the tuna steak poboy and a side of onion straws. When I checked in, I was surprised to get a free onion straw too! All very good. Glad we made it to town earlier this time. Just wish they were open later, at least on weekends. Love the food here.

Yelp
Decided to try this place out while on business in Lafayette do to the ratings other yelpers have given. I guess yelpers get it wrong sometimes. I ordered a side salad and a "Action Burger". The salad had brown shredded lettuce w/ a tomato. Hardly what I would call a salad. The "Action Burger" was served on a hoogie roll they forgot to add cheese. Nothing special about it. I guess I was expecting a little more "action" in the burger.

Yelp
Exactly the kind of place that makes me love coming home to louisiana. Giant po-boys on bread that you can only get in Lafayette. Also, the onion rings are unlike any I have ever had. I have no idea how they got them so dang thin, but my cousin said we had to try dems rings and he was right.! Aieeee! Finally, the server was really friendly, attentive and had a fantastic acadian with and style.
