24 Best Hotels in Bali, From Oceanview Villas to Jungle-Immersed Escapes | Condé Nast Traveler

"Built into a clifftop above one of Bali’s loveliest beaches, this resort’s chic mix of alabaster architecture and luxury villas makes for a stay fit for royalty, against glittering panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. A private entrance leads right onto buzzy Dreamland Beach, just seconds from the pool, where you’ll find the island’s best surfing. The design nods to Bali’s ancient maritime kingdom—you’ll spy many water features spilling into bubbling koi ponds and glassy pools—and exceptionally well-manicured grounds mean the only hair out of place is the odd creamy flower that's wafted to the ground from the waxy-leaved Japun trees. A top-notch spa, two excellent restaurants, and a majestic triple-tiered infinity pool flanked by friendly staff ready with a cocktail menu seal the deal." - Chris Schalkx, Kathryn Romeyn

9 awesome family-friendly hotels in Asia to visit in 2023 - SilverKris

"A palatial, all-villa luxury property in Uluwatu inspired by Hindu-Javanese water temples, it recently introduced two-bedroom ocean villas that accommodate large families (up to six adults plus two children under 11). Family programming is immersive from the first moment: children join a resort-wide treasure hunt on arrival and can spend hours at the Peafowl Pavilion Kids Club, an imaginarium with indoor playgrounds and outdoor nature-focused activities that encourage discovery of Balinese flora and fauna." - Joshua Zukas and Tara FT Sering

This was our first experience with Jumeirah hotels and we are seriously impressed ||This is an Outstanding hotel with generous space and service - we have stayed at Como, Belmond previously and this beats them hands down. ||The villa was huge, very plush and modern with the best in-room amenities I have yet seen in a hotel (automated mood lighting and blinds/curtains, toiletries that include mouthwash, hair ties and clips, kids toiletries, shaving foam, the fluffiest towels etc). We enjoyed a couple of movie nights with the kids on the large TV screens, and the lovely in-room treats each evening. ||The kids club is the largest I’ve seen so far and fantastic with a variety of interesting classes - sushi making, cupcake baking, Balinese dancing etc. Some of these are chargeable and I do feel the hotel could easily throw these in - that would be a small area of feedback, nevertheless the entire offering and the staff were outstanding||Breakfast and food in general - everything we tried was amazing. I would suggest adding more Indonesian dishes and keeping them authentic, but overall excellent. |Service - whether buggies, at the pool or beach side, or in-room was prompt and courteous with immediate responses on WhatsApp. I didn’t visit the spa but my husband said it was amazing. Overall staff at Jumeirah is very well trained, forthcoming and particularly indulgent with the kids. ||The beach is not private and has rather large waves even close to shore but those were not deterrents - we enjoyed ourselves in the sea and were well taken care of in the small but well appointed space for Jumeirah guests. ||Thank you and Kudos to the GM and team, we will return!

My husband and I spent the first week of our honeymoon at Jumeirah Bali, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the incredible dining at Akasa and Segaran to the beautiful villa and perfectly kept grounds, everything felt like a dream.||What stood out most, though, was the hospitality. The beach and poolside team especially Yudi, Dana, and Yoga made us feel so cared for. They were kind, attentive, and always a step ahead in making sure we were comfortable. Their genuine warmth really elevated our entire stay.||I also had a wonderful experience at Talise Spa, where the staff went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday. I can’t recommend the Bhumi Blessing enough for anyone curious about Balinese culture it was such a meaningful and unique experience. Anggi made it unforgettable with his generosity and knowledge, and the massage therapists were incredible as well, leaving us completely renewed.||Jumeirah Bali will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Huge thanks to Yudi, Dana, Yoga, and Anggi for making our honeymoon so memorable.

My family had a most wonderful time at Jumeirah Bali. It was an ideal blend of romantic tranquility within the lush nature, relaxation at the spa, and adventure via the beach, pool and kids club. The staff were all highly attentive and friendly, which made it all the more memorable. The highlight for me was the cliff and sunset views - they were stunning and not to be missed. My daughter loved the kids club so much that she cried for hours upon departure and all the way back home. She said the staff looked after her so well and cared for her every need. It is certainly a place I would highly recommend for a short escapade for young families.

We had an amazing stay at Jumeirah Bali. The last 2 km leading up to the hotel can feel a little unusual, as the area was originally planned for luxury resorts but many projects remain unfinished. However, the moment you enter Jumeirah, you step into a true paradise. The grounds are beautifully designed, spacious, and offer breathtaking views in every direction.||We stayed in two villas with our daughters, and they were outstanding — extremely spacious, elegantly furnished, each with its own private pool. The ocean views and easy access to the beach were another highlight that made our stay unforgettable.||As is often the case in Bali, it’s the people who make the difference, and at Jumeirah this was no exception. Every member of staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. A special mention goes to Carlos and Widi, who made us feel especially welcome.||We enjoyed our time so much that we’ve already made plans to return next year.

We stayed at Jumeirah Bali from 21 to 24 June for a short getaway and had a wonderful time. We booked the Sunset Pool Villa, and upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with refreshing drinks while the staff handled our check-in.oWe took the half board package and were very impressed by the food, great quality and generous portions. The staff throughout the resort were polite, attentive, and quick to respond to any requests. We also booked a day trip driver through the hotel. The car was clean and spacious, and the driver thoughtfully prepared cold drinks for us. He brought us to ATV and river tubing activities in Ubud, which we thoroughly enjoyed.Although the stay is on the pricier side, the service and experience made it worthwhile. We would definitely come back again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️||I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel in Bali. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Our butler Ari was simply fantastic – always there for us, extremely polite, and she even organized a wonderful surprise birthday party for me, planning everything down to the smallest detail. Her kindness and dedication truly made our stay unforgettable.||The entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, whether at the beach, in the restaurant, at the bar, or at the reception. The hotel itself is beautiful, offers great activities, and creates a relaxing yet exciting atmosphere.||I truly enjoyed every moment here and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Jumeirah Bali was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine care from all the staff. The villa was luxurious and beautifully designed, offering breathtaking views and ultimate comfort. One of the highlights of our trip was the stunning Dreamland Beach which has the most magical sunsets. The food at the resort was delicious, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of to make our stay perfect. We left with beautiful memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxury escape in Bali.

We spent an awesome eight nights at Jumeirah Bali, and would happily recommend the resort! Comms prior to arrival was excellent, and the hotel were very accommodating with various requests before and during our stay.||The rooms and the resort in general are beautifully appointed - for anyone who has stayed at and enjoyed a Jumeirah resort before, you won't be disappointed! You could be in Dubai/Abu Dhabi whilst in resort, there is little to no difference to the standards across the brand.||Not a great deal of choice of restaurants, two to choose from and both are excellent. The hotel are happy to recommend local restaurants and arrange transport etc., which if you are staying more than 4/5 nights, will be useful.||Final point to note - the WhatsApp service, that many hotels use nowadays, is by far the best we've experienced. Swift responses, resolution of any queries first time, buggies when you need them - even chased up a delayed bag with the airport and got it back to us - other Jumeirah resorts, take note!||Thanks to all the staff who made our stay memorable!
