A great place to stay - we will definitely return!|Location is good - a little ways out of the centre of town, and onsite restaurant and bar is great. Food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff offer excellent service.|Rooms are clean and modern - beds really comfortable and ensuite is very spacious. Showers have excellent pressure and temperature and only thing that could be improved is lighting in bathroom could be better.|Rooms are also very quiet - you’d never know you were above a busy restaurant and bar!! Air con works a treat and has opening windows also.|Carparking can be a struggle, so we paid for a carpark with the booking which was well worth it - they give you access to the parking garage across the street which makes life easy!! |Highly recommend - will definitely be staying here again!!

Great place to stay - rooms are very comfortable and modern, and surprisingly quiet given the bar & restaurant below! Staff are great, service is excellent and food at the restaurant is spot-on! Breakfast was delicious and great value for money too!!

What a great trendy pub in Newcastle. The dinning interior is very nicely done out, with bright colours and a great water feature, to make it a pleasant dinning experience for a hotel, and a very good location. The food is exceptionally good. The battered F&C was raved about! They also cater to people's dietary needs 🙌 Friendly service, clean, and welcoming.

The reason the rooms are a zero is that we did not stay in one; we only came to eat. Apart from that, the food was very delicious 😋. They have priced the food well, and the staff were very friendly. My son had the pork gyoza and said it was very delicious, and the outside was crispy (as it should be). The food was well-sized and perfectly cooked. Our waitress, Maggie, was very friendly and had great hospitality. The meat dishes where succulent and juicy and the pasta was well cooked and creamy. *15/10 IF I COULD 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

We arrived later than anticipated and the bar staff could not have been more helpful. We had asked for a parking spot and were taken to the parking station to show us the ropes.|The room was extremely comfortable, the bed very comfortable, great shower and bathroom.|On departure the following morning one of the downstairs staff held the door open while we took our luggage to the car and exited the parking station so she could take our room keys instead of having to go back upstairs. We were very impressed!|We did not eat at the hotel because of time constraints, but we would next time.|So….. 5 stars from us, and particularly 5 stars for the staff

The staff's hospitality was exceptional, providing invaluable assistance that significantly enhanced our experience. The hotel's proximity to local attractions, including Bar Beach and McDonald Jones Stadium, proved highly convenient.|The food and beverage offerings were of an excellent standard.|The on-site rooms were well-appointed, featuring a modern and trendy design.

Went to the restaurant for lunch, and it was clean and tidy. Nice music and great service. The menu was a little expensive, but the service was excellent. The food was tasty and had a good atmosphere. I would go back.

Friendly, welcoming & courteous staff. Very comfortable bed, pillows & linen. Clean & well presented room. Breakfast menu was good. Parking option was appreciated. Close to a few good cafes & bakeries. Would highly recommend for a weekend stay.

Yelp
I was sent to The Junction for a business trip. My employers had booked me a room for a 2 night stay at The Junction Hotel. My first reaction after hearing the arrangement they had made was "You've got to be kidding me! They booked a room for me at the top of a pub?" (thinking that The Junction Hotel would be another one of those filthy pubs with a bunch of drunkards). Colleagues who stayed at this hotel tried hard to convince me that The Junction Hotel is no ordinary pub - but I still had to see it to believe it (you wouldn't blame me for being cynical too if you saw most of the pubs within the area I live in). But to my surprise...it was a nice hotel! 1. My hotel room was clean. 2. Modern. 3. Complete with necessities (like most commercial hotels): * Towels and hand towels * Shampoo - conditioner - body wash gel * Complimentary bottles of mineral water (and chocolates!) inside the refrigerator * Hair dryer * Iron and ironing board * Lots of toilet paper and tissues (no need for the housekeeper to stack them up on a daily basis * Coat hangers 4. There is a bar and a nice restaurant right downstairs: there's no need to get out of the building just to get food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Their menu was great and has quiet a variety of things to choose from. The meal prices (depending on what you order) can be a bit costly. But the quality of the food served at the hotel are well worth it. You just need to taste it and refer to the food presentation! 5. The restaurant and bar staff would be willing to bring food and drinks to your room (although you will have to order by the bar downstairs due to the fact that there are no telephones inside the rooms). But hey...it's a few walks down the stairs and you're there. Unless you are ridiculously lazy... 6. Less expensive than other hotels (I forgot the exact price but it was definitely less than $150 per night). 7. Oh! Did I mention how super comfortable the bed was? I definitely wouldn't bother paying to stay at the Crown Plaza Hotel (not far away) when I could get myself a hotel room that is equally decent - and that cost less. The guests - mostly locals - were also nice. I felt that I was able to just randomly start conversations with strangers.

Yelp
Really love this place. The decor and atmosphere are very cool and relaxed. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. We stayed upstairs and the rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The food downstairs is delicious and there is a wide variety of dishes which would suit every taste. They have a variety of great beers on tap. Funky, fun & comfortable.

Yelp
Great pub food. Really enjoyed my Cajun Barramundi . It was surprisingly moist. But the highlight was the wait staff. Attentive friendly but not intrusive to a sole diner here for business.
