Jungfrau Lodge, Annex Crystal

It was a pleasant experience. Room was nice, view was amazing. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good. It is also not very far away from train station and plenty of shops and restaurants, just walking distance.

We stayed at the triple room last december. The room is abit old but with amazing view! Breakfast are good!

A little windy in the room, through the window. Breakfast was very nice and the staff friendly. If they will solve the problem of the window where the wind blows, I may actually check-in again.

The hotel is wonderful at good location near Grindelwald Station! It had an amazing view, friendly staff, clean rooms, free parking. The hotel was affordable and it included breakfast in the morning. I definitely recommend this hotel. Check in at the main building across the street. And there's no kettle in the room, if you need some hot water just ask at the reception.

This hotel had an amazing view! The first thing I do in hotels is look out the windows to see what kind of view I got. This one was stunning! The accommodations were good. The hotel was affordable and it included breakfast in the morning. I would recommend staying here while in Grindelwald. Tip: Check in at the main building across the street. Tip if traveling by train: Short walk to the hotel from the train station. Take the train all the way to the last station (it’s small and in the center of the town), don’t get off at the large Grindelwald Terminal.

Excellent service, Nicole and Andres are very kind and helpful. North Europe styling room. It is sparkling clean. The shower is perfect with instant hot water and high pressure faucet. Size is reasonable is this price range. Stunning and breathtaking view from the room day and night. In the clear sky night, you can see stars and take a photo of Milky Way from the balcony. 5-8 minutes away from Grindelwald railway station as well as the supermarket. Bus station just 20 -30 steps away. I had a pleasure stay. Highly recommended!

We actually stayed at the crystal annex which is just accross the street. It is a small and modern building. Rooms were very convenient with a balcony facing the Eiger! Amazing view to wake up with. Breakfast was excellent. Due to the Covid situation they were serving breakfast at the table instead of a self service buffet. Definitely a good place to stay.

The reception desk was unkind. The location is not good either. But the price is fine. If I go on a trip again, I will go somewhere else even if I spend more money. Just refer to your personal opinion.

The lodge is well situated near the train, main shopping and eating area, and the terminal to reach Top of Europe. The views are spectacular. The accommodations are modest but so the trick. The property and rooms are clean just dated. Breakfast is included which is a bonus. Some of the disappointments are no body lotion or hair conditioner in the bathrooms, No conveniently located plugs for charging devices, and no on-site amenities.

Really cheap hotel. The breakfast that was included in the price had everything you could ask for in a continental breakfast. My room did not have a bathroom attached and there were only two showers (!) in the entire hotel. I am assuming that other rooms actually have showers attached which is why there are so few showers in this three story hotel, but I cannot say for sure. My room had a sloping roof, so it was a somewhat tight fit. The carpet was thin and worn and there was a sink and mirror in the room. I was on the side of the hotel facing gravel with the upper portion of the view restricted by the roof. If your room is on the other side, you will have a beautiful view of the valley. Overall, I think the deal was fair, but I did not receive what I expected in the way I expected it.

Terrible hotel and terrible experience. Totally overpriced Had a train literally right outside our window. The room was small and dated, bed was super small, one pillow will a very small duvet that didn't cover my whole body, and it felt like an old apartment building from communist Russia. But here is the worst part, we paid through booking.com for 120 CHF, and we we checked out they charged us 190. They charged us an extra 70 CHF for an extra person, and said that was in the fine print. It was a double bed but we paid an extra 70 CHF for another person? That's retarded and the rate is way above other options all over the mountain. Wouldn't refund any money. Hated this place.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. In no ways is this a 3 star hotel, it's barely a step up from a motel. If you get a mountain-view room, the views are gorgeous, but the room itself is a complete disaster. First, everything is old and falling apart. The carpet was worn, our sheets had holes in them, and the duvet covers were so old that they are stained yellow. In addition, the cleaning staff did not take away dirty glasses, nor do they change our sheets. I realize that if I called down, it is likely that I would have gotten my sheets / covers changed, and the dirty glasses taken away. However, I just feel silly calling down for such basic things. As for customer service, it completely depends on the person. Most of the staff were very polite and pleasant, but a couple were cold and borderline rude. As for this being a budget hotel and you get what you paid for... for the price that we paid, we could have gotten a much better deal, even in Grindelwald. This hotel is the only blight on an otherwise incredible trip to Interlaken.
