Jungle Bay Dominica

I stayed in Jungle Bay Dominica from 03.12.2025 to 08.12.2025 and I have never been in a more beautiful hotel. Colins could tell me a lot about the island, its communities and people during the transfer from the ferry port to the hotel. Staff was really friendly everywhere and I immediately felt very welcome. The villas are special and made with love, I loved hearing the nature. There’s many animals, especially cute geckos!! My absolute highlight was the snorkeling excursion Jungle Bay offers, something I have never done before, we saw turtles!! 🐢 Weefee was great. I joined Stacy on the garden tour and she was so passionate, was so much fun to learn from her. I also joined Jeff and Cameron on the Middleham Falls hike, even though it was raining heavily we had a great time. Equally as fun was the Roseau Market and Trafalgar Falls tour with Chester! The roads look so stressful to drive on but all of them were amazing drivers. Special thanks for the kind worker who helped me get to my room in the dark because I thought I saw a spider :-) I can totally recommend this stay at Jungle Bay Dominica for anyone - even though I was traveling alone I found very cool people there. Was extremely bummed when I had to leave, but I definitely want to revisit in the future. Thank you very much and all the best, Jasmin

Jungle Bay was our favorite place that we stayed at in Dominica. The property is beautiful with great views of the sunset (especially from the infinity pool). The room was spacious and clean and there is free parking if you have a rental car. The breakfast and restaurant on-site are fantastic and utilize local produce and ingredients. The hotel is located in a great spot if you are looking to explore sites in the southern part of the island (Scott's Head, Roseau, Trafalgar Falls, etc). I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Dominica.

Jungle Bay was an excellent value! We stayed in one of the villas facing the ocean — the view was absolutely spectacular and offered wonderful privacy. The room was simple yet very comfortable and beautifully maintained. The restaurant was great; we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner, and everything was fresh and flavorful. We also visited the spa and each had a fantastic massage — the perfect way to end our stay. We’ll definitely return to Jungle Bay, and next time we plan to stay longer. Highly recommend this peaceful, rejuvenating escape!

We loved our stay at Jungle Bay. We already miss getting to eat in that restaurant and swim in that pool with those amazing views. We also miss walking around grounds seeing lots of birds, lizards, and just hearing the sounds of the rain forest. Loved the indoor/outdoor rooms too though if you hate the sight of bugs in your room you might not like it. We had some centipedes and a lizard on the walls but they didn’t bother us. Of course the real highlight of the stay was the excursions (snorkeling and waterfall hikes/swims mainly). We had a rental car so we didn’t use the resort excursions. I highly recommend getting a car.

I’ve traveled to many special places around the world, but Jungle Bay stands out as one of the most extraordinary experiences I’ve ever had. This resort is more than just beautiful, it’s deeply magical and spiritual. From the moment I arrived, I felt peace, warmth, and genuine care in every interaction. The staff are exceptional, not just professional, but truly personal. I had a private one-on-one yoga session with the general manager Laura and that was incredibly grounding and relaxing. Joanne and her team went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration so special. They decorated my table beautifully and made me feel so cared for. And Stacey was an absolute delight, I met her by chance while exploring the property, and she generously gave me a spontaneous garden tour, sharing so much knowledge and passion for the land. Besides the beautiful ocean suite and delicious daily fresh food, everything here feels intentional, from the lush surroundings to the kind hearts behind the scenes. Jungle Bay isn’t just a resort, it’s a sanctuary for the soul. You will leave this place feeling like a different person, it moves you in ways that are hard to put into words. It reminds you of humanity, connection, joy, and kindness in this world. Jungle Bay is the prime example of what hospitality should be and I cannot wait to come back! 🌿

Absolutely amazing stay at Jungle Bay! The views from BOTH pools are incredible, the rooms are cozy, everywhere smells and looks and feels fantastic, and the food is tasty too. Visited for Creole day lunch. It was raining and was thankful they had golf carts to take you from parking lot to dinning area. Greeters upon entry were very pleasant. Decor is gorgeous - definitely keeping on island theme. Food was good but wasn’t hot (note: we did arrive at the last 1/2hr of the buffet lunch but as long as there is food left it should be kept at temperature). Table service was not great, had to get the attention of at least two servers to get something to drink. One person in my party never received her juice. Mind blowing view of our beautiful island.
