Jungle Burger Sports Bar and Bistro

Went here twice (because it was so good the first time) on a trip to Siem Reap earlier this year. 1st visit had the Smokey and the Bandit Burger, my word, it was delicious, so, so good!! 2nd visit I tried the Pork Floyd Burger and believe it or not, it was even better than the Smokey and the Bandit Burger. On both visits we also had Moo Moo balls, so good we had to have them twice, but be warned, Moo Moo balls + one of their burgers and you will be absolutely stuffed. I am coming to Phnom Penh later this year, seriously contemplating getting the bus to Siem Reap for 1 night just to go back to Jungle Burger, that's how good they are!!

I ordered the pulled pork burger. My partner ordered the Mango chicken burger. They both came with fries and a drink (beer or fizzy drink). The burger was delicious. Probably one of the best pulled pork burgers I have had. I was very full after finishing the meal. As a kiwi it was so cool to find a place that had Maori saying and significant sport moments, memories and people. Was nice to feel at home. I wish I could have ordered all things on the menu.

Ordered the smokey & bandit burger and it was one of the best burgers I've had in SE Asia. Excellent quality ingredients, super tasty and lovely chips. The mayo (thinking homemade) was exceptional. Now to go back and try the pie.

Oh my god! This is truly the best burger in Siem Reap! The smoked burger was absolutely delicious! I was already full, but I still finished another burger. It was that good. The only small downside is that the air conditioning was a bit weak, but that’s nothing compared to how amazing the burgers are.

Great service and an exciting energy were the great things about our visit here. Unfortunately the junior smash burger was a very thin slice of ground beef on a thick bun. However the regular size burger was good. The fried chicken sandwich looked substantial. Maybe I ordered the wrong burger? In all fairness all of the smash burgers I’ve had in Siem Reap have been very thin and flat. I just expected it would be different here.

One of the best Western restaurants in Siem Reap. They serve big portions of fresh, high-quality beef, chicken, pork, and lamb. It’s owned by a New Zealander, so part of the theme is rugby and All Blacks memorabilia. The staff are very friendly and the vibe is great. I’ve had numerous burgers here and they’re all very tasty and unique. I love the blue cheese burger and the “Smokey and the Bandit” burger — both are flavorful and have great portions of their respectively unique add-ons. The chicken plate is also quite tasty, with a perfectly cooked, large portion of chicken breast. The restaurant also serves a great selection of drinks, including a range of soft drinks, cocktails, beer, fresh coconut, and even a homemade “jungle juice” that features natural honey, Thai tea, ginseng, fresh fruit, and B vitamins (without added sugar). If you’re looking for a hearty, scrumptious Western meal in a fun atmosphere, definitely give Jungle Burger a try. You won’t regret it.

I asked ChatGPT to help me find a burger place in Siem Reap, an authentic one. The kind people dream about or come back for. We all know AI can get it wrong sometimes, but this time? It got it so right. I ordered the JB Smokey and the Bandit Burger and let me tell you…wow. The bread tasted fresh and homemade. The burger was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of toppings. It comes with fries and a beer a total steal for the price. Add Rugby on the TV (a first for me!), and it felt like a mini trip home. Yeah, it’s a little warm inside but once that burger hits the table, you forget all about it. If you’re craving a taste of the West or just want a damn good burger, run (don’t walk) to Jungle Burger. Amazing staff. Cozy vibes. And a burger that might just live rent-free in your memory.

I am a huge fan of this place and it all starts with Clayton. He is friendly and engages customers at the bar. The decor has both rugby and funky pop culture regalia. The portions are large. My favourites are the Sloppy Joe Burger and Sloppy Joe Mac and Cheese.Clayton puts on the NHL games in the mornings which is a huge plus. I would give 6 stars if possible.
