This is a classic ride. It’s family friendly and I love the jokes. The skipper if you get the right one will have you laughing the entire time. Ten out of ten totally recommend this ride. Worth the wait if there is one.

Kyle Mika

Google
I usually don’t take photos or record the actual ride, but for a classic like Jungle cruise I couldn’t resist. The line was surprisingly super long this time, and the waiting areas can be pretty cramped. But the ride itself is super simple and fun! The jokes are silly and a great time. A Disneyland classic!

Google
Jungle Cruise at Disneyland is a classic ride that never gets old! 🌿🚤🌊 The ride takes you on a relaxing yet adventurous boat journey through some of the world’s most exotic rivers, including the Amazon and the Nile. The animatronic animals are surprisingly lifelike — from elephants and hippos to crocodiles and lions — and the attention to detail in the jungle setting is incredible. What really makes Jungle Cruise special is the skippers — their dry humor and playful puns are absolutely hilarious and make each ride a unique experience. The combination of cheesy jokes and surprising animal encounters creates a perfect balance of humor and excitement. It's a family-friendly ride that’s suitable for all ages. The queue can get long, but it’s shaded and moves fairly quickly. If you’re looking for a light-hearted, nostalgic Disney experience, Jungle Cruise is a must-ride! 🐘🦁🌴🌊

An old old ride by disney standards for upgrades, but still a fun excursions, sitting in a small boat listening to puns and seeing the animatronics doing their thing. Tends to be a bit quieter as most of the kids are screaming for the thrill rides.

Google
The Skippers make all the difference! Without them, it's just a boat ride with anamatronic animals, but the workers working on the boats are incredible! This was my daughters favourite attraction at DLR and made us go multiple times. Even if you get repeat jokes, they somehow still hit just as good and always fun to hear the delivery in different forms from different skippers. All cast member staff are incredible, but I have to keep singing the praises of the skippers and all cast members involved in this attraction. They are amazing!

John Haddock

Google
This is one of the parks original rides and is a fun and relaxing. The boat skippers will keep you entertained during your journey with their puns and jokes. The ride has undergone some changhes over the years but still is fun.

Google
A true Disney classic ride. Fun for the whole family. The wait times, if long, are minimized by all of the fun and entertaining things to see while in line. Once aboard, you are greeted by your skipper and entertainment tour guide for your voyage. The fun ride takes you through the jungles and down the Nile river. Plenty of fun animals and jokes to enjoy on your trip. This ride also brings you up close and personal with the backside of water!

Google
Back to back dad jokes by our captain. Big fan of the groans. Line isn't too bad. Thankful there's no splashing. Great for kids.

Yelp
Love this ride!! The best part are the crew and their corny jokes. A lot of people are lame and don't laugh but man those corny jokes get to me every time hahahah it may be because I like jokes like those and use them myself but I love hearing them. Shoutout to the crew members!!! Until next time.
google avatar

Yelp
I'd like to suggest that if you want a funny and scary ride, go here at NIGHT. Of course if you know what to expect it's not scary but I haven't gone on for years and man was it scary! The river water is dark and mysterious. The animals appear suddenly as the boat's lights make them seem unexpected. The noises and the darkness makes the jungle so much more scary. You swerve a lot so you think you're going to crash but you don't! Our boat captain is funny and I know the jokes are used over and over but it helps make the trip more dark if they tell you the jokes in a monotone voice. Overall, at night, the line goes by faster so I think it's a great scary ride. For little ones, best to go during daylight so they can see the animals clearer and can see it longer!

Yelp
Love this ride why you ask. I love hearing the comedy of the ride operator. It's so corny. When I go on the ride I think is this what it would be like in Africa. I love the waterfall when the boat goes underneath it. Just brings the child in all of us back for a short period of time until the ride is over. This ride is Great for kids.
google avatar

Erick W.

Yelp
The ride is entertaining - the jokes are amazing! My kid quoting the ride operator from a recent visit: "we laughed together, we cried together, we almost died together." If you don't get the joke - you have to ride the ride. If that is not enough to lure you onto the DeNile River, then you must visit to see the 8th wonder of the world! Come on everybody - say it with me now... on the other side of the famous falls - we see the back side of....

Yelp
Yasss...what would a visit to Disneyland be without a ride on the Jungle Cruise. Turns out the actual Jungle Cruise River is in fact a representation of several iconic rivers from around the world all wrapped up into one...who knew?! Nevertheless...it's a must experience part of Adventureland and well worth the time one will spend in queue waiting to ride the attraction. I have experienced this attraction over the years and apart from the serene ride through a lush jungle landscape, you will encounter the 8th Wonder of The World (no...I'm not telling), tigers, crocodiles, snakes elephants apes, lions, zebras, rhinos and hippos (just to name a few) and all the while..your boat's Skipper will be giving you a monologue of comically bad/good "puns". Depending on your "mood" the monologue will make you laugh, make you chuckle, make you shake your head or just decide not to listen to the amusement dribble. Since the puns/jokes are coming at the riders quickly and non-stop...my experience is that most people just take it in and don't react. Kinda makes ya feel bad for the "Skippers" who need to memorize the spiel because it's a long one, since the ride is between 7 - 8 minutes in duration. There were some slight transformations on this river trip (over the years I guess it pays to re-invent slightly to keep it interesting) but overall the attraction continues to give riders a fun and pleasurable experience. In this Yelper's opinion, on this occasion the Jungle River Cruise in Disneyland (CA) truly earns this "highly recommend" ,come bring the entire family, 5 Star review.

Yelp
Another ride I've never been on. All I know is when we were running through the line they were saying it's magical at night time. I'll take their word for it. The commentary was pretty much everything about the ride. She kept saying silly jokes, but one precisely over and over . The Bamboo could grow up to 11 feet and she said I think 12 but that's another story. She said it so many times that I kept beating her to the punchline that was fun #heckler. #5Stars.
google avatar

Chelle S.

Yelp
I wasn't expecting to like this ride, but plot twist, it ended with a smile! The guide was hilarious! The ride itself was well-maintained and the animatronics were great! Fun for the whole family!

Yelp
"It looks like these hippos are about to charge! Good thing I only take checks." "That big rock over there is limestone, but some people take it for granite." "Tigers can leap over 20 feet. Fortunately, we are about 15 feet away so he'll go clear over us." I've always enjoyed going on this fun little ride. During the hot summer months, it is a nice break from the heat and a chance to rest my feet after walking all day. Some of the inspiration from the Jungle Cruise ride comes from one of my favorite old-time movies "The African Queen" starring Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn. Jungle Cruise is a river cruise ride through a dense rainforest in tropical Southeast Asia on a canopied steamboat. On the way you get to see hippos, elephants, lions and snakes. But the fun part of this ride is the skipper who navigates your ride and narrates it with dry humor filled with bad puns. Jungle Cruise is one of Disneyland's original rides when it opened in 1955. It has been renovated many times since then. The water is a dark blue-green color to hide the boat's underwater guidance system. The ride itself is located in the Adventureland area of the theme park next to the Indiana Jones Adventure ride and the treehouse. The Jungle Cruise film that came out in 2021 and stars Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt is based off this ride. I really liked the movie and still crossing my fingers for a sequel.

Yelp
One of the last rides I partook in prior to leaving the park. And after the long day of walking around, it was much needed. This is located in the Adventureland section of the park and fits this area appropriately. It takes up a big portion of the park which is not surprising for what it is. This is meant to be a leisurely ride down a river. You are led by your cast member serving as your tour guide. This is quite possibly the best part about this attraction. The tone in which the monologue is delivered and the dryness of the material actually makes it funny. Basically you get to sit back and relax and take in the views. You'll see all types of "animals" throughout the area. And, um, pay attention. Don't be like me and get jump scared by the crocodile in the river. I was literally looking at something in the distance and did not see this coming up to the boat. When it "jumped" out of the water, I nearly fell off my seat. A great way to have a little downtime while in the park. Kind of like a must do if you want off your feet before leaving the park.
google avatar

Britney M.

Yelp
You know what! They should add a Steve Irwin (Australian zookeeper and conservationist- also known as the crocodile hunter) animatronic as a tribute to him. That would take this ride to the next level. This ride is an absolute classic at Disneyland. Or they could just add some characters from the actual jungle Cruise movie that came out in 2021. Maybe they could add The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) or something- would be pretty cool. Just some ideas lol This ride takes you through the jungle! With crocodiles and rhinos! It is lots of fun. But not to worry, you are not in any real danger lol
google avatar

Amber P.

Yelp
This ride is so nice and relaxing. The guides are always friendly and witty. The line is never too long
google avatar

Diele K.

Yelp
A Disneyland classic that has withstood the test of time with plenty of dad jokes to be shared. The skipper is the best back of the experience for me as it makes the ride unique each time, though you sail the same waters. That unique piece of personality makes it interesting for sure. It's not a ride I do often as the boarding and de boarding can be difficult for both my parents and myself. It's still worth visiting on your next Disney trip!
google avatar

Elyse F.

Yelp
The best jokes in Disneyland, and that is no joke. Jokes are punny. The Jungle Cruise takes adventurers on a cruise around the jungle. See such amazing sights as the back side of water, and hippos blowing bubbles while wiggling their ears. The ride ends right back at the docs. The Jungle Cruise is one of the original Disneyland rides. Fun fact, many of the original trees surrounding the shores of the ride were sourced from all around Orange County. Some of the trees even came from the very land the park was built on.

Yelp
The Jungle Cruise is classic Disney at it's best. The many times I have ridden this ride each time I discover something new. You get aboard a boat with a funny name and a skipper whom if you know the jokes repeat them for the benefit of the passengers who haven't ridden. A couple of the best jokes are "wave goodbye to the people on the docks; you will never see them again!" and "View the 7th wonder of the world, the backside of water!" Your skipper takes you through the jungle scenes where you see elephants bathing, a hippo that rises out of the water where your skippers shoots a gun at, a pilgramized safari camp overrun by apes, and of course my favorite, the men on the totem pole with the rhino's horn prodding the butt of the lowest man. Trader Sam's is also here from where the famous bars gets its name. It's an enjoyable and funloving voyage. Magic Kingdom comparison:- The Magic Kingdom has the upper hand here since that ride alone navigates you through the South American Inca temple full of snakes and treasures. I learned that when I asked a cast member about it after we got off. There is no temple in this ride. Still it is one of the classic original rides and will always be a fan favorite of mine. Located in Adventureland in Disneyland.
google avatar

Angelina L.

Yelp
I have been on this ride numerous times. Many jokes are the same, but once in awhile, you get an extremely unique comedian. Five stars for Eddie from this past Tuesday. He was hilarious and I hope I'll get him again in the future. I was laughing the entire time!
google avatar

Gail U.

Yelp
6-25-23 Lions and tigers and bears!!! Not on this water ride but the backside of a waterfall, a rhino trying to gorge a safari clad man climbing to get out of harms way, you'll see that and more. You'll have a skipper who'll take you on your river cruise with witty or commentary that may summon a chuckle or two during your adventure. He'll bring you back to the starting point of your adventure so that another boatload of passengers may come aboard.
google avatar

Anna M.

Yelp
I love the jungle cruise so much at Disneyland. It's one of my favorite chill rides. When I was younger, it felt like the longest ride ever and correct me if I'm wrong but, as an adult I feel like it's gotten shorter. The announcer this time was absolutely hilarious and I could not stop laughing. For the kids it might not have landed but, as an adult I had great joy. The attendants were all so kind and were willing to relocated as I went as a single rider last time. The animatronics could use a little updating but, I don't really mind it. After a long day of walking around, this is the ride to go on!
google avatar

Marcus F.

Yelp
Nice relaxing ride with the same old jokes told over the past forty years. - One of the few attractions I wouldn't recommend riding when it's raining at Disneyland. It gets really wet and the canvas roof leaks and dumps water on passengers.. - If this line is over an hour wait then you know it's a very busy day the Disneyland. You might as well start drinking now.. - They made a terrible movie out of this ride. I've lost all respect for Emily Blunt..You're better than that.
google avatar

Spencer Q.

Yelp
So it's nice ride to get off your feet and listen to some funny dad jokes! It's always nice to see the revisions they have made over the years tying it to the new Disney movie staring the Rock. Always is a good time but of course it always will depend on your cruise director!
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
I will reiterate what I said in my past review, your cruise is only as good as your guide. Ours just rattled off the usual humor that I have heard multiple other times and did so in a very unexcited, slightly quiet monotone voice. If it were for the fact that I was looking forward to the new additions, I think I would have been kinda miffed. The Disneyland app said that the wait was going to be 35 minutes, but despite the long line that went up some stairs and back down some, it was only around 11 minutes (thanks Yelp for letting me know the check in times!). During the wait, there's a bunch of neat things you can see in the shack. Real insect samples, additions from new characters added to the ride, and some Easter eggs from the new movie apparently (the outfit that the Rock wore, etc). The new additions included taking out the tribal people and the shrunk head hunting portion of it with the shaman medicine man. Definitely a much more PC ride. They were replaced with some other explorers (an etymologist, artist, etc) and you can see their items strewn throughout the queue line and the ride. There are more animals, especially mischievous monkeys messing around (with the butterflies and the painting supplies) and you see Trader Sam's shop at the end. There's a very cute parody of taking your pictures at the end with the monkey and elephant. Nice touch! Not a bad ride, but much more worth it during the day time when everything is visible !
google avatar

Chanté B.

Yelp
Slow boat ride that a person takes you through the jungle and gives you puns after puns. Some where funny and others were like dad jokes. This ride in the lightening lane was super quick, also if you have a stroller of some sort the area to park is very close to the lightening lane. The gentleman chucking the redeem code informed us that if you have DAS that always check in with the registered person first than the rest of the people in your party.
google avatar

Deanne R.

Yelp
Feeling tired.... Try this cruise lol. Nice to get off your feet for a bit. Several years since I tried this ride it's been updated with monkeys. I am glad no more cannibals. But the jokes are the same lol....

Stanley S.

Yelp
Still good but not as nearly good as WDW. It seemed shorter and with less scenes. Backside of Water was like a dripping faucet compared to WDW's waterfall. Our skipper did not tell many jokes. I disliked having to go up stairs to go down stairs. Disappointing.
google avatar

Delfina E.

Yelp
Who doesn't love the Jungle Cruise. It's a nice little ride no frills and lots of corny jokes. I still remember riding this and believing it was so real at five. Maybe I just like the giggle it gives me to think of my younger self being afraid.
google avatar

Anson W.

Yelp
The dad jokes on this ride are really corny, but they've groan on me. The recent movie by the same name was made because of the success of this classic ride. I can't say quite as much for the movie, but the ride was hilarious. It had me keeling over with laughter. In fact, I'd be lion if I said this wasn't now one of my favorite Disneyland rides. The ride takes you along a river in the middle of a treacherous jungle in an unspecified part of Africa. Every animal that you see wants to eat you. Even a bunch of ravenous piranhas make an appearance. They swam there all the way from the country of Hungry. Listen, Disneyland has the Storybook Land canal boats and those are okay. But if you want a real river adventure with danger and bad jokes lurking at every turn, then get yourself on the Jungle Cruise, where they don't just pile on the eye-rolling humor, they go overboard with it.
google avatar

Kim T.

Yelp
What Studio Tram Tour is to Universal Studios is what The Jungle Cruise is to Disneyland! Well, in the sense of kicking back and relaxing, while having your Skipper "tour guide" tells you about the ride and cruise itself. You will see gorillas on here, but they're no Kong from Skull Island, lol! Located in Adventureland right next to the Indiana Jones Adventure. This ride has an estimated wait time of minutes, but the lines move pretty fast since the boat holds approximately 20 to 25 people. Just like other Yelpers had commented, your cruise is only as good as your Skipper. Luckily, we had Skipper Jenn and she was quite entertaining with dry, sarcastic jokes and humor. Though, I was keener on taking the pictures since I haven't ridden this ride in a long time. As you wind down the river, you'll encounter various jungle animals both on land and in the water. My favorite scenes were the humans climbing up the pole trying to get away from the rhino and hyenas below or the gorillas and monkeys getting into the human tents and Trader Sam's Gift Shop, lol! Other Yelpers also mentioned to check out this ride at nighttime to get some compare and contrast visuals, but do note, the pictures might not be great night (I may do that next time). Overall, it's an enjoyable ride to give your feet a break from all that walking! One last thing, if you sit where the engine is on the left side (facing the Skipper), you will get squirted on with some water from the elephants (damn, pachyderms!).
google avatar

Tony G.

Yelp
It's still ok. Some of the jokes are funny, some are really predictable (the backside of water). I wild really like to see a revamping of the script and jokes but for Pete's sake, if they do, DO NOT make it PC!!! Disney has already messed up the Pirates of the Caribbean by doing so.
google avatar

Ryan L.

Yelp
I actually feel like I am on riding a boat going down the river. The animals, plants, and sounds are so so realistic on this ride, especially at night!
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
One of the best, classic rides at Disneyland. It sucks how Disney has changed this ride over the years so that they are more politically correct. I personally think that Walt Disney World roll over in his grave new changes the current management has made at the rate is still good, it's a classic and it's a must do when you're at Disneyland.
google avatar

Ana P.

Yelp
I never been on this ride so I really did not know what to expect but I ended up really enjoying it. Like other yelpers mention, this is a nice and slow ride with lots to see. They put you on a boat and your guide (the skipper) tells you all about the place while making funny quirky jokes. I personally enjoyed them and though was the best thing. It took me almost an hour to get on the ride and was kinda frustrated because it was not moving fast enough but I made peace in my mind to take this moment and just focus on myself and not the line. The day I went on the ride was cloudy and rain every now and then so it was a perfect day to be on the boat. It was not hot or too cold and it really did feel like I was in the jungle. I got splashed here and there and there were lots of animals to see that looked really real. I would go again but I would pack more patience and more sandwiches haha
google avatar

Jennifer E.

Yelp
An easy ride that the whole family can enjoy. Wheelchair accessible, without having to transfer. Great ride to cool down and relax on a hot day or after a lot of walking around. Lots of "dad jokes" and humor the kids can enjoy. Even if the line looks long, it moves quickly. The kids really enjoyed looking at all the insect decor on the walls and the animals during the ride.
google avatar

Benny H.

Yelp
One of the classics. Movie coming soon, so a bit packed. A relaxing jungle ride that has a ton of animals. One of the better rides for the kids.
google avatar

Monique W.

Yelp
Jungle Cruise, It's a classic Disney ride. This ride is directly across from Bengel BBQ and next to the Indiana Jones Rides. Just a note, there isn't a fast pass for this ride, so you'll have to wait in line. I typically don't see the wait line, even on busy days, exceed the 30 minute mark. Disney is pretty good at keeping the lines rotated between two different boat docks. This ride relies on your skipper! Depending on your skipper, you may have a great experience, or just an okay experience. I've rode the jungle cruise multiple rides, and typically, I feel if the skipper has a ton of energy and jokes, it makes the ride that much more enjoyable! In the jungle cruise, it's a nice relaxing ride, especially for the kids. It lasts between 5-10 minutes. You'll see a variety of sights and animals as you drift down the winding river. If you're looking to take a quick break from those fast pace rides, then this ride is for you. It's one of the original Disneyland rides.
google avatar

Yelp
I can't help but compare Disney World rides to Disneyland rides. Jungle Cruise is one of the attractions that really isn't too different between all of the parks it occupies - you'll also find this ride in Tokyo Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland. At each it lasts about 7 minutes. At each it has fake animals strewn about. At each you'll get corny dad jokes galore. So if your goal is to try rides unique to Disneyland, this isn't one of them. However, there's something so old school and nostalgic about it and I'm sure because it has not changed much since opening day of Disneyland on July 17, 1955. Jungle Cruise is one of the rare rides that opened with the park that day. If you've never gone on the riverboat cruise, head over to Adventureland and give it a whirl. This is not one I ever wait more than 10 minutes for, but it's also a ride I don't ever see insane lines on. It's one of those old, reliable, short wait attractions. When I see the wait up to 60 minutes, I think people have simply lost their minds if they wait that long for this. It's a cute little ride, but is nothing mind blowing. Go on it for the cheeky fun of it & to get off your feet for a few minutes. While on it, think to yourself...My goodness! In 1955, this was supposed to actually resemble what a jungle cruise would be like. Then think about when you rode the actual Safari ride at Disney World. Classic Disneyland ride I never miss!
google avatar

Samantha G.

Yelp
I love this ride. I have so many great memories of it has a kid. But sadly, as an adult, I managed to previously always be here when it was closed. Every time. But this most recent time, it was open! I was so excited that I made it my first ride of the day. And it totally held up. From the corny jokes to the neat scenes, it's a fun experience. You may get sprayed with a little bit of water. The experience is really dictated by how good or not the guide is. It's kinda neat to go on it more than once and compare the different guides. And there are sometimes little touches you miss on the first ride that you'll catch on the second ride. The jokes and little touches are what makes this ride so neat. So chill your feet for bit and enjoy a cruise through this jungle.
google avatar

Michele M.

Yelp
Gotta love this ride if not you may be in de'Nile. Sit back and your captain with guide you down the Nile River to discover wildlife in the water and along the riverbanks. The Jungle Cruise is fun for the whole family and usually the line moves quickly since they continuously run boats. The ride has a different atmosphere riding during the day vs at night. It's a great ride if you need a few mins to sit and enjoy the scenery. My only complaint is the script the cast members use, hasn't changed over the years. The skippers try to make funny but not so much when its the same jokes. I think in all the times we have gone, only once did we actually have a comical skipper a few years back who used different jokes, was generally happy and got the entire boat laughing so hard and participating. That time was a blast, wish it happened more often. No matter what script, it is still a Disney Original ride and its a great ride everyone must go on. PS: wish they would bring back the Jingle Cruise during Christmas time.
google avatar

Charles F.

Yelp
It's a classic and if you get a lively driver it's even better. Our boat driver was super charming and of course witty. There's been some changes but it's still an amazing ride. Here's a PRO TIP. Go twice during the day One time sitting on the left side and the next time on the right to catch all the cool sights. Don't forget to monkey around and pay attention to the eighth wonder of the world.
google avatar

Neen M.

Yelp
Your tour guide will make it or break it for you. And you can tell the ones who are reading from the script and those who are giving it all they got. Some of them even go for the "sad sarcastic vibe jokes" and it leaves the ride feeling so downer! It pretty much determines your experience who your skipper is so may the odds be ever in your favor when loading whose boat you end up in, ha!
google avatar

Andrea A.

Yelp
Love this ride! It is such a classic attraction that I believe is featured in all the Disney Parks. It's a boat ride in Adventureland. You ride the boat along with a funny tour guide that loves making jokes. The animatronic animals look so real! Some highlights for me include the elephants, the giraffes and the tigers. One added addition are the monkeys playing in a bar and making mischief. Quick tip; this line is not very long so you are sure to board this attraction pretty quickly. What I love about this attraction is that it is pretty nice for the warm weather in Anaheim since it floats along a long river and you feel a slight breeze when riding along in the boat. You also feel like you are in the jungles of African or maybe the Amazon River? It's nice to see an island oasis of beautiful creatures staring back at you and any pictures you take on this ride will be amazing for sure.
google avatar

Peter X.

Yelp
A nice calm and relaxing cruise through the jungle to look at the animals, sight see and of course hear some jokes form the skipper. Too bad The Rock wasn't there cause I was wearing his Project Rock gear! There wasn't a lot of people on our boat since we went when the park just open. The ride isn't that long and we didn't have to wait in line at all so that was great. We came back and rode it a second time but this time, we got stuck there for an hour. A boat got stuck and had to be helped being towed back to the dock so we got stuck waiting in the jungle.
google avatar

Marianne W.

Yelp
You can't get me out on the ocean. I took one cruise on a ship during my life and that was enough for me. BUT give me this Jungle Cruise ride at Disney and I'm happy. I can go to a faraway fantasy location like I'm in a Tarzan Movie. I've been on this ride multiple times during my life. It never gets old.
google avatar

Manny S.

Yelp
As Annual Passholders my Girlfriend and I are here all the time! This is simply a must ride for us. The line goes pretty quick, the boat captains always make us laugh, and I can always find sometime nice to take a picture of! This ride gives us a break from walking around and a moment to just sit and enjoy a few minutes around the Jungle LOL!
google avatar

Vy D.

Yelp
I like this ride. It takes me back to Asia tropical river with all the animals. So chill and funny!

Yelp
I have been coming to Disneyland for as long as I can remember. Almost every year as a little tyke, my mom would bring me to an amusement park and Disneyland was almost always my go to choice. One of the oldest rides I can remember going on was the Jungle Cruise and this ride still holds true today The Jungle Cruise is a relaxing slow moving boat ride that last about 10-15 minutes as you cruise down a river seeing many animals and sights along the way. I remember loving this ride as a kid due to the nature of the ride but as an adult the humor is there but doesn't resonate quite like it did before although a great tour guide can make a huge difference. The guys we had during our most recent visit was absolutely superb and on point with his jokes and quick witted humor During the holidays this ride is decorated with a plethora of christmas decor and redubbed the Holiday Jingle Cruise which I have yet to see and will review at a later time on its own page as this is the page for the classic ride. With some of the old "get off your feet and relax" style rides no longer in operation the Jungle Cruise make a nice break from the walking and crowds even if for a short while. The ride is still a fun attraction that kids eat up and adults can still enjoy . The wait times are sometimes quite long overall but moves relatively quickly as several boats run simultaneously and each holds a good amount of people. I definitely recommend checking it out at least once during a park visit as I can see this being a ride that gets replaced down the line just due to the longevity and the transition to something bigger and better.

Yelp
Things started out just fine but by the third day we started to suspect our skipper was lost. At least he was good enough to pull over and let us forage for food while the boat toured "the underside of water." It wasn't what I expected but I'm definitely not complaining, not like those horrible noisy people that couldn't run faster than me. None of the remaining guests missed them either. The tour ends at a local trader's gift shop where anything is for sale. Only at this moment did I really think I was getting ahead. Skipper Carl really was the best. I'm going to miss him.

Yelp
I love Jungle Cruise. They've made a few changes since we were here last two years ago. The kids love it and there's always so many things to look at. I love the drivers of the ride and their witty humor. Even though they were busy today the line was quick and we were in and out in 20 minutes.

Yelp
I love that Disneyland goes all out for the holidays! This cruise is no different! Change the "i" to "u" (Jungle to Jingle) and add some changes to the story line and you've got a slightly different ride! Although you still ride the same boats and see all the same critters on your voyage, the lights and decorations throughout help change it up! The guides have a jolly twist to their jokes, which is in keeping with the holiday spirit. Some guides add a little more to their spiel. A lot of this is very cheesy, but it is funny! If the line isn't too long, I like to go on this cruise just to give my poor aching feet a break! If the line is long, you will have to take some steps the the second floor and then back down before reaching the boat. I suggest taking this journey twice, once during the day and once at night. Different views and feel to the ride. Picture taking is more difficult in the darkness of night, but the strings of lights are so festive! The guide will shine his/her light on what is important, so you can see things better. Be sure to catch this cruise before all the jingles are put away for another year!

Yelp
The jungle cruise is one of the original rides from opening day of Disneyland. It is a ride where you hop on a boat and take a tour of a make shift jungle with fake animals. During the whole time, the boat captain narrates the whole journey with cheesy jokes which sometimes can be hilarious with the right person. Nothing has changed on this ride since I remembered as a kid but it never gets old going on the ride.

Yelp
This is a fun little relaxing cruise... I have had some eh cruises and some HAHA great ones. It all depends on the cast member giving the tour. (Also, if you have grown adults on your boat who scream at every single little thing, it makes for a long, somewhat annoying cruise as well). Where else can you see... THE BACK SIDE OF WATER!? :) They decorate differently for the Holidays, as the Jingle Cruise, and that is fun as well. I definitely recommend you do this at least once... its cute.
