The Jungle lagoon miniature golf course was a gem! Well maintained, fun, and had little surprises throughout the course. The manager said they’d been there for 46 years. If you are looking for a wholesome vintage putt putt golf course, look no further!

Google
Played 18 holes on the lagoon course and it was very fun and satisfying. I paid just $10 with the senior discount which is a good deal. The course was decorated with with a jungle/lagoon theme and the holes were varied enough to keep you interested. Overall very nice. I got there just after a cloud burst so there course could have used some additional clearing, but that was a very small problem. I liked it. Important...watch your head in the caves.

Google
Very beautiful location and staff was friendly, however looks like some of the statues and signs may need to be updated.

General impression: It seems more fun when you see it from the road. Rating on 1-5 Scale Course Condition: 2 – Astroturf was in fairly good condition, but wood borders were dry rotting and bricks missing so your ball could roll off the course. Tall grass and weeds needed to be cut. One of the holes was part of a drain and the plate in the bottom was moved and we almost lost one of our balls. Bathroom was all the way at the front with no shortcuts. The stairs were ramped and different heights and depths, it had rough edges to the steps, and it was very dark and not well lit. They had signs everywhere to “watch your step”. Also, the signature hole with the giant hill seen from the road had a sign that if you hit your ball in the route to get the hole in one, it was likely to become trapped and you’d have to go all the way back to the front to get a new ball. Difficulty: 4 – Some holes were deceptively difficult. The green had a lot of rolls that you couldn’t necessarily see. There wasn’t much variety in the layout and course design. Cost/Value: 2 - $12 per round, and don’t have coupons but they do offer a military discount, senior discount, and second round for $4. We’ve paid the same price for newer courses that were better kept. Fun: 3 – the main draw was the animals and they seemed to need a fresh coat of paint. No interactive or cinematic components.

It was putt putt and the kids enjoyed it, but there are way better options, especially for the money. $15 for adults, $10 for kids. There are many courses with in a block that are in better shape for the same or less money. Many other courses with nice clean flowing water, the water here was dirty, stagnant and a mosquito breeding ground and trash in what little water they had. I know it had been around for a long time and it is showing it. We will not go back.

Google
An excellent representation of classic Myrtle Beach mini golf. The course was well maintained and very shaded as an added bonus. Though I wouldn’t encourage anyone with mobility issues as the stairs were often steep and uneven, which was part of the charm. The look out point of the boardwalk was one of the better views I had all week.

Google
Love the courses here! My family plays A LOT of mini golf while on vacation and this was one of our all time favorites! Very affordable course with a steal of an all-day option. Great layout with huge hills, waterfalls and tunnels! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with shaved ice on site! We played 54 holes here on the all day pass and enjoyed every minute! Will definitely be visiting here again when we go back to Myrtle Beach!

Google
We recently traveled to Myrtle Beach for a road trip vacation. We love trying new mini golf courses and Myrtle Beach definitely has plenty to offer! Today we visited Jungle Lagoon and we absolutely loved it. This location has been around for more than 40 years but it is so well taken care of you wouldn’t know! Not only are the courses beautifully taken care of, but the lady at the ticket hut was so sweet. Shout out to Brenda for chatting it up with us in between our 1st and 2nd game. She was so sweet and made you feel like an old friend. We are from Maine and Brenda embodies what we picture when someone talks about “southern hospitality”. We are sad to leave all these beautiful courses behind, but we’ll remember Jungle Lagoon the most simply because of her. Thank you for adding to our experience :)

Yelp
REVIEW IS NIGHT BASED AND REFLECTS PEOPLE AROUND US!!! Night: My wife and I had a lot of fun playing, but I wouldn't recommend playing at night. From the beginning workers greet you right away it cost 11 dollars per adult so it's not expensive, and the holes are easy and fun. It's also very clean and no trash!!! I should have taken more photos but course definitely needs some TLC when it comes to lighting, it's very dark on 60% of the holes and you can't see the course! We got stuck behind a few larger groups and ended up waiting majority of the time probably taking twice as long as it should have for us to play a fun none rushed game. We also had a family directly behind up trying to rush us constantly to see what was ahead, which was annoying and asked if we were playing, pls don't be those people! If your impatience is high you probably will have a bad time. Overall we had fun and enjoyed our time together taking pictures and making the best out of it! 3.9/5 NIGHT

Iris S.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this course purely for the animal statues that popped up at every hole! It wasn't super challenging, but fun. If I remember correctly, it was about $27 for two of us to go at night around 7:30pm- and they didn't take amx which we primarily use, so we paid cash. We chose to do the "jungle course" but there is also a "lagoon course" we would try next time!

Bryan T.

Yelp
This place was right next to our campground, so I popped in while my wife was sleeping to kill some time. We love mini golf and this place had awesome prices! $11 for 18 or $13 for unlimited. The place wasn't too busy and it took me about 20 minutes to play 18. There was plenty of room and spots to sit on busy days. Scenery was nice there were a couple of runs where there was suppose to be water but there wasn't which made it look rundown. Parking lot was huge! Overall course was in good shape not too crowded and had fun play. None of the holes were all that challenging, but if we come back will definitely check out this place because of the value alone!

Teressa L.

Yelp
We were looking for a putt putt that had some shade. Parking is in back of this business and it does have irregular stone steps all throughout the park. They have multiple signs asking you to go slow on the steps. Heed the warning. Some steps are larger in height than others and it does take paying attention when using the steps here. Staff was friend. The jungle course was recommended as most shady. There is some overlap between the two options so both have the ability to do the high up viewpoint of the beach. We liked the holes here. A lot of the difficulty is eye candy and not truly a difficult hold but we enjoyed playing here. It's showing some wear and tear but we did see someone working on the grounds. The water features were not working at our visit so that added to the run down appearance. There was a snow cone type dessert also being sold on site. Fun course, had a lot of shade. Hopefully they can spruce it up b/c it has great potential.

Daniel D.

Yelp
Jungle Lagoon was excellent, staff was very helpful and provided good descriptions of the two different paths. Each hole provided a different challenge, many looking more straight forward than they were. There were benches at every hole and usually multiple benches. The course was a mixture of shady and sunny holes (which is huge during the summer time). There was a cool view on the Jungle course where you could see all the way to the ocean. If you are looking for mini golf this is by far the best course I've played in Myrtle Beach, you should check it out!

Cassie A.

Yelp
My bff and I absolutely loved this place! The ladies working here were the absolute sweetest and really made the place for me! And we both had a blast playing the course, I hope to come again sometime!

Bridgette R.

Yelp
Cute course! Very nice gentleman who kindly helped us to pick the course with less steps. Pretty fig trees and very silly painted animals. Looks like the course has been here since the 80s but it's in really good shape. Somebody has taken care of it. We enjoyed it!

Laurie W.

Yelp
We had fun but this place has seen better days! The gentleman running it was so super nice but the course itself is a mess. The water is gross and everything could use a fresh coat of paint, there is debris all over the course. Looks fun from afar but close up is rough.

Rini J.

Yelp
Would not recommend this course. There is debris on many of the holes, many of the holes have little to no lights and the little bit of water around the course is scummed over and has mosquitos. There are too many other places to go.

Victoria J.

Yelp
I have fond memories of this putt putt from my early twenties and now my family had a blast! Thanks!

Jasmine S.

Yelp
Nice place for some down time . Might as well get the all day pass if it isn't packed you'll go through both courses.

Jackie B.

Yelp
Great place! Clean, well maintained courses. Two courses. We choice the scenic outlook course- view was well worth it! Kids loved the jungle safari theme to the entire place. Lots of steps involved - so definitely not for those with mobility issues. You get a free game time if you get a hole n one. Easy access to parking. Bathrooms onsite- bring big spray!

Alicia L.

Yelp
This place was really cool. However, the thing that my family and I didn't like was the fact that the hole difficulty was so simple. The shot to make it to the hole was always basically straight ahead. The course itself was really creative, with the waterfalls, fake jungle animals, and the hills, but there wasn't really any challenge to any of the holes. The max amount of strokes is 5. Each hole is par 2, so you can guess how easy they need to make each hole. I figured it was to keep the flow of traffic going for the amount of people playing golf, but they still could've added more of a challenge to the courses. Don't assume the 10 other golf courses or however many there are, are all that different though. I'm sure they're all pretty much the same since they all are similar with its simplicity. The difference is what kind of environment you want to be in. Totally a tourist trap, but fun for the family. Try and find a coupon online or wherever you can because there will likely be one out there.

Don V.

Yelp
Great course. Walking distance from our hotel. The lady behind the counter was super friendly. Lawanda is awesome! The course was clean for the most part. A little trash in one of the water features. Cool place. We only played 1 side. They have 2 - 18 hole courses!

Joe E.

Yelp
Very fun. I recommended going at night. The city view from the lookout at hole 15 is beautiful.

Nicole E.

Yelp
Picked this place because my father in law wanted to go. The golf holes were nice and fun but surroundings weren't. We went through the lagoon option track. The water surrounding the place was very gross and dirty looking. My boyfriend even saw a dead fish or maybe bird in one of the water holes. It was just gross. We did have fun but really wish the place was kept up better.

Lindsay B.

Yelp
My entire life this has been a great mini golf course and always so cool and nostalgic! Went for the first time this week since probably a decade ago and had the same great feel to it! Friendly staff and a good time. The "sorry my friend, you are not a winner but try again" is the most nostalgic thing I forgot existed hahahaha

Alissa D.

Yelp
We loved this course! It was not very challenging, but it was fun! The jungle theme was great, loved the animals and caves. First time we went we chose to do the jungle theme. However we were warned of severe thunder warning for area. We were able to play 10 holes until the course needed to be evacuated. We were content with getting a free game token, but others seemed disappointed, no refunds. We came back the following morning because it was our last day in the area and got there for 9 when they opened. It was nice and cool not too hot and hardly anyone there yet. We chose the lagoon course. We both liked this side a little better getting to go through caves. We were still able to see the giant giraffes! So much fun, highly recommend this place!

Justin M.

Yelp
Awesome course! We are traveling the United States for a year with our kids and have to say this One of the best putt putts We've played. Love the views and the tunnel. Course we Came in the off season and pretty much had the place to ourselves. The nice lady up front hooked up my son with a free game for his birthday :) very sweet! Totally would come again

Kristina G.

Yelp
Finding a mini golf course that was open during off season was tougher than I thought but we stumbled upon here and I am glad we did. They have a coupon in one of the coupon books (Monster?) and I was able to show the lady a picture on my phone and she honored it for us. You could go one of two paths to golf and since we had 7 people we opted for what looked like the less popular side. Jungle? I don't even remember. I am sure both are fine. I liked the course. The holes were not too challenging but challenging enough that you felt like a real winner when you got a hole in 2. There was a lookout where you could see a good amount of the Myrtle Beach area. A nice photo opportunity. There are bathrooms near by and easy to get to if you needed to escape mid game. There's also ice cream at the end if you choose to partake. All in all a good mini golf experience!

Rebecca W.

Yelp
Let's start with it's actually pretty clean! Employees were all very nice. Course was fun with all the cute animal statues. We saw a live raccoon and it's babies so the kids were really excited, great family fun and a nice beach excursion!

joe b.

Yelp
This place offers 2 separate course. All holes are par 2 and are rather easy. The facility overall is very nice and well kept. The staff was friendly. We played both courses and found the lagoon course to be more challenging. If you do a second round its only $4 a person. I would say this course is better for kids due to the lack of difficulty.

Skylar M.

Yelp
This was cute fun at the Jungle Lagoon. I liked the course was interesting and we had lots of laughs here. The owner is super nice and they are hoping to clear the second course ASAP as it has damage from Matthew. Ice cream to buy is the prewrapped kind in a freezer. :)

Swindler L.

Yelp
HI HO kermit here again with moose and we came upon this place after wanting to play a few times. two 18 courses but we had the play the animal side to see our friends and family in the animal kingdom. Mr. Gorilla was so happy to see us as we took some pictures. but my oh my the holes and scenery was absolutely beautiful!!! The views of the burger king, the discount stores was gorgeous. I loved the holes as they bring excitement and fun. The club up the stairs and boom you see all myrtle beach. My moose hooves were so happy as she was able to drink some waterfall water because it was so blue making me sad because it aint easy being green :/. Love this place as you should too. KTF out peep our reviews plz and send request.

Paige D.

Yelp
Our family enjoyed this great place on our vacation! The staff (I think it was husband and wife owners) were so pleasant and at the end, we got all the children shaved ices which were delicious and huge for the price! Not to mention that the woman serving them was so kind and funny to boot!

Sharmon H.

Yelp
We have always enjoyed this place but tonight we felt absolutely disrespected. When my husband told the woman running the front that he was a senior her exact response was " oh well too late I already rang it up" she was very rude... as we were leaving we put our golf clubs back on the stand and she never looked up from her cellphone to even acknowledge us,or anyone else for that matter. This person should never be allowed in customer service

Lindsay C.

Yelp
The best time our family has ever had playing putt-putt. We have 5 and 3 year old boys and the course was easy enough for them but still challenging and fun for my husband and I. The grounds were spectacularly well maintained. We played the Jungle side this time. The lookout point has a beautiful view of Myrtle Beach, the Sky-wheel and the Boardwalk. If we ever find ourselves back in Myrtle Beach we will be coming back here!

Heidi K.

Yelp
Everytime we go to Myrtle Beach, we have to mini golf SOMEWHERE!! How can you not when you pass at least 6 on one short stretch of road!! We've only been to Mt. Atlanticus, but I wanted to check out other places while we were up there. I'm a mini-golf nerd, no matter how bad I am, and love to try different courses. What made me choose Jungle Lagoon out of all our choices while driving by was the beautiful set up from the street. Of course they all have water fountains and hills, but something just caught my eye - maybe it was the animals. Yes, I'm a girl. Anyways, Jungle Lagoon as 2 courses - Jungle and Lagoon - although they are kind of intertwined (I think.) We did the Jungle Course. The holes are honestly quite different from any cours eI've been to, and was pretty happy when we left. They are not super easy, but once you get the hang of how the hole is SUPPOSED to work, it's a bit easier. You have an opportunity to win a free game if you score a hole in one at the end (I didn't.) They have a military discount ($1.50 off, I think) and the man ringing us up was VERY nice and laid back. I had a great time here and would return!

Emma K.

Yelp
My friends and I went here while on vacation at Myrtle Beach and it was great! We loved the lagoon course and would have done the jungle course if we still had time! The course was very scenic and a lot of fun.

Robert B.

Yelp
So far this has been my favourite mini putt course at Myrtle Beach. It has a very nostalgic 80s vibe but still well maintained & clean. The holes have a few more challenges than other courses around town with a waterfall jump at the end! Fun on a bun!

Stacie M.

Yelp
I have been coming here since i was 18 and now I'm in my 30s and I bring my kids here. This is a must stop on our vacation every year. The employees are always nice and polite and answer every question my kids have without being annoyed. The miniature golf area is always very clean, I think it needs a little sprucing up, maybe cleaning out the pools from all the algae that seems to be creeping up, but if that is my only complaint I can live with it. It's always fun to play with the kids they are old enough to choose to keep score or not and still have a fun time!!!! We will always be back and it'll always be a family tradition for many years to come!

Griffin S.

Yelp
Awesome miniature golf course! I visited six different courses during my stay in Myrtle Beach and this was my favorite. The staff was very helpful and nice, and the course was designed in a fun and challenging way.

Kt H.

Yelp
Fun!! The split course idea was clever and interesting, and provides you with the option to either do one or both. All the holes in the whole place are par 2, which is kind of underwhelming - I would have enjoyed a slightly more difficult course, just for some variety. But everyone working there is very nice! And the scenic overlook in the jungle course is beautiful (albeit a bit dangerous, don't slip!!) if you're lookin to take in a sweet moment with your boo or your family :)

Mary S.

Yelp
This was a fun course. Not very diverse with each hole. A lot had similar concepts. The blue water was only running at the end on the last hole where it takes your ball. The other parts of the courses where the water should be running, it was either a dirty puddle or dried out. However the greens at each hole were pretty clean and mostly kept up. Overall, despite the uncleanliness, this course entertained us for a couple hours.

David K.

Yelp
They are relatively easy courses but lots of fun and well maintained. Staff are courteous and friendly. I would definitely recommend if you are staying at the KOA.

Cat L.

Yelp
This place is awesome. We've played miniature golf at many places and this is for sure our favorite one yet.

Casey B.

Yelp
Nice place. Choice of 3 (9) hole courses. I is handicap accessible. Clean and family oriented. Pricey, but hey, if your here, your probably on vacation. Indoor parts are air conditioned. Overall holes are pretty easy, but fun.

Erika B.

Yelp
I went with a large group at the beginning of June. We went after dinner, maybe around 9:00 and got in for $8 with an online coupon. We only golfed on the jungle side but it was great! Each hole is very creative and original, not like other mini golf parks. They closed at 10:00 but didn't immediately kick us out! I will definitely come back if I'm ever in Myrtle Beach again!

Alyssa S.

Yelp
Over priced. Same obstacles at every other hole. Will definitely try a different course next time- looking for more creativity with my kids.

Cheryl M.

Yelp
This course is great!! Played with my boyfriend and beat him by one stroke. David Mandrell trash talked me the entire time saying he would win and NO way i could beat him. Ha! Love this course!!

Dan W.

Yelp
I have played putt-putt here for the past 13 years in a row with groups of kids as small as 35 and large as 72! The owner is fabulous, kind, and helpful. They do a great job keeping up the course and it is a great balance of run and challenging (as far as kid friendly putt-putt courses go). They have two different 18-hole courses. If you have a family, this is the one you want to go to. Jungle Lagoon forever!

Grace H.

Yelp
There are many mini golf places in the area, but this one was the best. We had a group of three and it wasn't very expensive. $9 a person and there is a discount for kids under 12. All of the holes were somewhat difficult but manageable, even for young kids. The animals and the waterfalls were a lot of fun and the palm trees provided a lot of shade. I would highly recommend going there in the evening, where there is not a lot of sun and not as many people.

B R.

Yelp
This was a fun course and very well taken care of. The staff was really friendly. I would recommend it.

Corey L.

Yelp
Excellent putt putt course! Well kept and clean. Worth going too. Challenging and unique

Casandra G.

Yelp
This was a nice course. We went for a double header, playing both the "jungle" holes and the "lagoon" holes (there's a price reduction if you play a second set). In a town of elaborate themed mini golf places, this place did seem a bit tame however. I would've expected animatronics or something. There were these loud bird sounds coming out of speakers but that mostly served to make me a little crazy. The other thing that made me crazy, and I'm sure this would've been an issue anywhere, was the crowd. It was so backed up! Darned families ;) Standouts: one hole leads up to a sort of tower from which you can look down upon all of Myrtle Beach. Another hole makes you wander through a waterfall in a cave, neat. But not enough to make me pledge allegiance to the place. If we come back to Myrtle Beach we'll probably try one of the other mini golf places. If they suck, we'd come back here.

Nick T.

Yelp
Clean and not crowded at all. Friendly staff and beautiful course. Definitely better than the mini golf courses closer to the boardwalk. Definitely go here for a less crowded experience!

Eric S.

Yelp
I think this would be ideal for littler kids. It's not as complicated and hard as we thought it would be. Each hole only has a par 2, which is telling. Cheaper than other places though.

Kelley S.

Yelp
Great putt putt place in a great location. It's a good course and the price was reasonable. We enjoyed it. We did the lagoon course.

Sue K.

Yelp
My family loves Jungle Lagoon!!! We first started coming to Myrtle Beach in 2005. My father-in- law and my son hit any and every mini-golf course they could find. Jungle Lagoon is the one they kept going back to and the one we still go to today. Prices are reasonable and there is a coupon for $1.50 off for up to 4 people in the monster coupon booklet. The people who work at Jungle Lagoon are very nice and remember my family year after year.
