One of the best resorts in have visited till date. The rooms are spacious and very well designed. Food and service is also very nice. Although the package is expensive it is worth every rupee spent. Their safari drivers are well experienced with a passion for wildlife sighting. Overall a great experience. It is worth booking their Maharaja package.

We stayed in the Viceroy Room for a night and were immediately impressed by the smooth check-in and warm welcome by Ashwini, the naturalist at Kabini, who also gave us a helpful briefing on the itinerary and the resort. Our room was spacious, well-maintained, and part of a restored heritage block. While we were hoping for an air-conditioned room due to the heat, the cooler provided worked well. The room was spotless and all our requests were promptly taken care of. The bathroom was clean too, though the drainage was a bit slow—something that could be fixed with minor maintenance. Quality of amenities provided can also be improved with better brands being offered. The absolute highlight of our stay was the food at Kabini River Lodge! The spread was extensive and absolutely delicious across all meals—lunch, dinner, and breakfast. We genuinely couldn’t get enough, though our stomach's begged us to stop eating! The team at the Golghar dining hall was kind and attentive, even when it was crowded. We loved both the jungle and river safaris, with amazing sightings of tigers, deer, and elephants and many more. Ashwini was full of insights, and our safari driver, Muthu, was outstanding—his spotting and driving skills made the experience even more memorable. River safari was undertaken by Ram, and another naturalist, and he was great in his knowledge too! The multi-lingual staff made it easier to communicate with everyone. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to return—especially for the food! Suggestions for improvement: - Providing air-conditioning in all rooms would be great. - Binoculars could be offered to all guests for safaris. - Since Golghar is open-air, better mosquito control would enhance comfort. - Insect control measures near the rooms—like insect traps near doors or overhead lights—would be helpful. - Encouraging more use of solar energy across JLR properties would boost sustainability. - A community-driven online forum for nature enthusiasts could be useful. Tips on safari gear, clothing, footwear, etc., would be especially helpful for first-time visitors.

Beautiful place for a jungle safari. Ample car parking space and the resort are located in place with great views. Although it's a bit expensive but still the service and the food that was served were good. They have very good condition jeeps, vans and buses for the safari. We stayed in a dormitory, which was very clean. We had a jungle safari and a boat safari the next day, which lasted about 3 hours each. While spotting a tiger or leopard depends on your luck and we weren't that lucky but still we were able to see elephants, deers, crocodiles, and some birds. I would highly recommend this place for a family, friends, or solo trip.

i. Stayed here several times and enjoyed the relaxation and safaris. The enthusiastic safari drivers take us around. The forest spies and alerts - the deer calls, a special coo when the predator tiger is moving..the sambar deer's alert call, when the tiger has been spotted and the langur monkey from the tree tops has its alert calls too..! ii. Expensive trees such as sandal wood have reflectors, so that they are seen in the dark at night..and not axed by thieves..;)) iii. Wildlife Water Resources – Kabini River

They have top notch service and arrangements. It was an excellent experience. Family loved it. Food quality and menu was good with a decent spread. Jeep safari was excellent with a fantastic guide. Boat safari was ok. But I can’t debate about price vs ROI. But it’s worth giving a shot atleast once.

this year was 3rd time we visited this place in last 4 years, we stayed in Maharajah package, this time the service was way poor. The service was poor, not the best. The premium price we pay is for the safari was always worth it, this time the safari guide didnt even bother talk or even go extra mile for show us some wildlife. He was not even explaining anything to us. Usually the guide there are fantastic they take extra efforts to atleast tell more wildlife stories or even general about trees and wood not just wildlife spotting. This time it was so poor. Very Poor. Complete disappointment, I could see even few families who booked 3 days want to reduce it to two days and leave at the earliest. The service is going down for sure.

According to price jungle safari camera cost too much and they didn't even go to deep forest .They using jeeps and cantonment for safari .it's too noisy they should use electric vehicles for safari .Not that much disturbance for animals atleast. Otherwise staying and foods are too good .Mahesh service is good .Only feedback as a women , Inside domatory bathrooms atleast they should keep hanging clothes options. No shelfs also on washroom.

Great place, great food, only it's super expensive that mostly NRIs come there. The jeep and boat safari really try hard to show you the few number of animals coming out of the bushes into the open during rainy season.best to go during summer I guess.
