The salon itself is very central and easy to get to, there’s street parking right outside (paybyphone). The interior of the salon is warm and welcoming. Made an appointment to get my hair done by Ilana, she did a lovely color melt to blend my roots and my ends so I would have easier to care for low maintenance hair. I’m from out of town so it’s difficult for me to go back as often. She gave me some great advice on how to care for my hair properly once I went home too. Overall one of the best salon experiences, and a stylist I would trust with my life!

Tigerlily cut and styled my wild postpartum hair. My hair is quite thick and I wanted it to be less heavy. She was kind and receptive to my input. I appreciate her diligence very much. Tigerlily was also able to share her knowledge of curly hair, as I am now navigating life with much different hair after two kids. The location was welcoming and had a great seating area for my eldest to stay entertained on her tablet for the duration of the appointment. Metered street parking available in 30 minute increments, FYI.

Easily one of the best haircuts/shaves I’ve ever gotten. I walked in with what I can only describe as a mess of hair (see: crazy fro), and asked for a miracle of a fix. First of all, Artem was amazing, gave me his recommendations and explained in detail what he was gonna do, great convo (dude has great energy), and I came out the other side beyond happy. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for an all around great experience, and an even better cut.

Michael is simply the best and so very talented and knowledgeable! He consistently has provided the best haircuts I've ever had! It's been really hard for me to find someone who can cut my hair so the curls lie well and aren't weighed down, but he did that effortlessly! He gave great advice for styling products and methods for my finicky hair, but with the haircut he gave me, my curls were much nicer even without using product (where as before I needed 3-5 products at a time). I love the way he styles my hair and shows me how to use products. He is friendly, punctual, funny, easy to talk to, and very talented. For his amazing work, his prices are of a great value for the price, especially for Miami! Junior and Hatter has an amazing vibe! The decorations, furniture, and ambiance are all amazing and cover even the smallest details while remaining functional! Staff are all very nice and talented, and the place is clean and modern!

I'm not one to write reviews, but this place left me SHOOK!!! The aesthetic of the salon is so gorgeous and very welcoming. The staff was so sweet and amazing, I couldn't recommend this salon more. After a few very horrible haircuts, I finally decided to check this place out since I work a a block away and it was convenient for me. LET ME TELL YOU, Danni gave me the most perfect haircut of my entire life. The confidence boost that she gave me is through the roof. Danni is also so sweet, she made be feel so comfortable through the whole process although i was really nervous. The haircut felt methodical and precise. I am so extremely happy with the service I got. And I will be coming back for as long as I can!

Rossana is the absolute best, I always look forward to our appointments. She's knowledgeable, professional and talented in what she does. I have very fine hair so she took the time to show me what products to use and how to style my hair on top of her amazing haircut, I now have the volume I've been after but didn't know how to obtain. She also cuts my husband's and 8 year old son's hair and they always walk out happy. I always receive compliments on my cut - I cannot recommend her and the salon enough.

Writing this on behalf of my fiance. Completely unprofessional service from start to finish. She booked an appointment with Kristina Fuentes, and paid $100. She arrived on time and Kristina was too busy to take her (even though.. again.. appointment was booked and paid for). Kristina didn't even consult with her and decided another person would be doing the cut. The haircut came out nothing like what was asked (she said she wanted a trim and the stylist cut all her hair off.. like a short boy cut). She's now in tears and will never be returning. I myself will avoid this place as well and will recommend others to do the same. Should be a fraudulent charge if we're being honest. Avoid this place.

I’ve been going to Dennis for 7+ Years now and I couldn’t have been happier. From day one he thought me how to take care of my hair, helped me with products and styles that fit me best as well. Every year and every session besides a haircut there are also lessons that I learn from him on how to protect my hair and even how to style better. He is always learning and advancing himself and his techniques and helps me / his clients to always look their best, protect their hair and style and also try new things. He is very talented, he is passionate about what he does and what he creates.

Let me start by saying I am not cool enough to go here but consider it kismet that I found my new salon in Miami on the first try. Booking online is intuitive and easy. When you enter, the staff are welcoming. I booked 2 appointments with Kristina: first a cut then color. In both appointments, I gave her minimal direction and she still managed to give me exactly what I wanted. I have wavy hair and Kristina cut/textured my hair in a way that complements the natural wave. For color, I wanted a more lived-in blonde and something that could grow out without looking bad. Kristina killed it! The detail and precision in her babylight game is I couldn't believe my color took almost 4 hours because I enjoyed chatting with all the stylists during the process. Time flew by! It's a very communal vibe in here. While I was in, I saw so many trendy cuts and colors going on that inspire me to be bolder with my next cuts.

Michael Minucci. I feel like that should be the entire review. 5 stars and just his name. As this guy is an enigma himself. But I will go on... I researched before making this appointment because a blunt bob is not on every hair dressers roster. He nailed it. And he splashed me with a lil color and made me feel brand new. Will be back. Regularly. This place is cute and in wynwood. Has a super artsy vibe. Funky decor. The book collection is strange, but Ellen Burstyn's autobiography and a LOT of John Grisham can be found. I'm not sure how many book collections can celebrate that!

I needed a haircut for my untamable tresses after many years of growing out my short hair do. I didn't want an average stylist to grasp my locks so I ventured here on a Monday to get a trim. I'm glad I did! I made an appointment with Alana and she greeted me within moments of my arrival. Before she grabbed the scissors, she earnestly asked me what my hair goals were and what products I was using to obtain them. After analyzing the texture and curl definition of my hair, she offered some remedies since I didn't have any concrete ones of my own. My hair was super tangled yet she patiently brushed it out after my wash. She suggested I use a silk sheet for my pillow to keep the frizz at bay and I'm glad I paid attention. The products they use are all top-notch and smell divine. If you're looking for a well done color, trim, or complete makeover-this is the spot to come to! They take their time and use skillful methods to make sure your hair gets compliments wherever you go. The layout is split in half offering men and women the appropriate areas they need to feel at ease while making hair decisions. Leave it to the professionals! Remember...good hair care ain't cheap and cheap hair care ain't good so upgrade thyself and you'll be happy you did. P.S. I look great!

I found Junior & Hatter almost six days to the date and our relationship has been going strong ever since. Man, nothing quite like a global pandemic to make you realize how deeply you need your hairdresser! I've always seen Mario except for once when he broke his hand and I was sent to co-owner Andrea instead. It was right before my wedding and I was nervous to see someone new but of course, he did an amazing job and was fun to talk to! As for Mario, I'm a pretty easy cut/blow gal, but he always listens to what I have in mind and I walk out feeling great. The staff always gives a great shampoo and head massage, too! The inside has grown and morphed over the years. Now there is a male barbershop attachment that wasn't there when I first started. They've also expanded their services, so you can check those out on the website. More businesses have started to pop up around too, including El Cielto Artisan Pops next door, so a popsicle is always in order after getting my hair done. Parking is easy to find via metered spots around the shop. In the past six years, I've bought a house, gotten married, attended weddings, moved jobs, been promoted, and had a baby. Junior & Hatter has always been there right before to ensure my hair looks the best to take on all of these exciting new chapters!

Shady and misleading business practice with cancellations! They lie telling you one thing and it's the exact opposite! I walked in and told the receptionist I needed a haircut the same day but she only had availability the following day. She then recommended I go to the wynwood barber as they may be able to accommodate. I asked her to tentatively set my appointment for the following day just in case. She mentioned that I could just call back to cancel without a fee if I was able to get an appointment elsewhere. I clearly said if I find somewhere else I'll call and cancel and she acknowledged and said I wouldn't be charged if I cancelled the appointment the same day. After getting my haircut at the place she recommended I called and Junior answered who I imagine is one of the business owners. I requested to cancel my appointment. Junior then refused to get rid of a $27 cancellation fee. I explained that the receptionist said I would not be charged but the business owner continued stating that the email has the correct information. I continued explaining that I just made the appointment the same day about an hour ago and that I wouldn't have booked if I knew I would be charged. Then I continued explaining " the receptionist said I can call back and not get charged." This happened the same day within a 1.5hr window!! Very shady practice to tell people they won't get charged and then say "the email sent to you states our cancellation policy" which is completely different from what the employees are telling customers. Very shady and misleading business owners!

Rossana AKA TIJERAS is a master at timeless cuts - I won't be going to anyone else as long as I live in Miami.

I've been searching for a salon in Miami since I moved here, and had kind of given up, but I honestly just liked the name at first so I made an appointment. The space is so cool looking, and so eclectic and cute I loved it immediately! Their prices aren't ridiculous for Miami and they listen to what you want, it's not a crowded loud place so it was one of the first times I actually enjoyed getting my hair cut/dyed, usually I'm super uncomfortable but I just adored this place!!! Jennifer was my stylist and I'd completely recommend her, she was great!

THIEVES!!!! Incredibly UNETHICAL practices- GROSS! Calls to see if I could get a same day haircut, the receptionist says next opening is tomorrow, I ask if there is any possibility she says NO but try Wynwood barber, she shall weMAKE the appointment for tomm either way? You can call and CXL it if your are lucky at the WBarber, I say OK- She says NOTHING else. I go as she suggested to Wynwood Barber, they cut my hair right away, I call JR&Hatter JR answers I ask to CXL my appointment and he says there is a fee of $27, I explain what the recep told me less than 2 hours ago and he says "there is nothing I can do" - they had my cc to m the system bc I WAS a customer and CHARGED my cc- not even 2 hours after the receptionist made the appointment she suggested and NEVER told me I would be charged cancelation fee!!!!! THIEVES!!!! And dumb to lose a customer for their unethical practices! Does the recep get commission for misleading clients?

Wow wow wow. Best hair experience ever! I had a curly cut done by Stephanie. I am so happy with my experience. She took her time shaping my curls. I've lived in Miami my entire life and never has someone cut my hair this well. I will be coming back. Stephanie is def in this for the love. She only recommends products you need. She is not a pusher for products. She's a minimalist and encourages you to love your curls the way they are without wanting someone else's pattern. She always reminds you it's ok to have some friendly frizz. Her knowledge is literally mind blowing! She know what she's talking about and this will be the best money you ever spend on your hair. If you're a curly girl. This is the curl ninja you need in your life!! The only con is Wynwood's parking. Pricing is as expected when you're wanting a quality cut, plus when you get a quality cut it lasts longer.

Went in today to give them a second chance. Big mistake. I literally got everything I told them I didn't want... AGAIN. I lost 3 hours of my day, 2inches of my hair and over $200. When I asked for my hair to be removed of some weight instead of grabbing a razor she grabbed old school thinning shears that only add fly away and frizz to my Latina hair. Fml

Absolutely LOVE my stylist Jen! I moved to Miami from out of town 2 years ago, found this salon online, and I was not disappointed. Now I won't see anyone else. The staff is friendly and prompt, always great music and smiling faces. Highly recommend if you're looking for any sort of color or cut in the area.

This is the first salon that I went to after moving to Miami. It was right as salons were starting to open. Instagram convinced me to embrace my grays. It did not go well for me. I basically got some tequila, my husband's clippers and a YouTube video. When I showed up for my appointment, Jennifer Traveso didn't blink an eye. She's transformed me with a buttery blonde pixie that took about 10 years off me. I'm too vain to post my before picture, but trust me when I tell you that this lovely lady is pure magic!!! I left and came back again with grown out blonde and my natural brown. She made it look great. I love my pixie now and I might not grow it out as much now. Great vibe to the salon and I'll happily use any excuse to come to Wynwood.

I'm super picky about my hair. Finding someone to cut my curly hair is always a challenge, but I think I've found my forever salon. Michael gave me the best haircut I've ever had. It looked great immediately after he cut it and continued to look incredible after washing and styling a few times on my own. Added bonus: the salon is just a cool place with great vibes and great music playing.

Jose took great care of me. We had a wonderful conversation about Takis and Foos Gone Wild. I've never had a barber notify me that he was actually ready for me earlier than my appointment time. I appreciate that kind of stuff. I plan to bring family and friends to the light and hopefully they can get away from the poor service commonly found in most Miami barber shops. 10/10 great experience

I was new to Miami this past year and looking for a new stylist. I had come across a mutual friends page tagging a woman named Nina. I reviewed her Instagram page prior to my decision to give the salon a call. She is a blonde specialist, however I myself like my hair dark. Being as I used to be a stylist myself I am extremely picky with my hair and the person styling it needs to be someone I trust.. I saw how fabulous her work was (and know how difficult it is to do well at coloring blonde hair), so I took the chance with her. She did NOT disappoint! Nina is an amazing stylist and I recommend her to not only my blonde friends- but anyone looking for a educated, professional, and talented stylist. Also she makes a mean (delicious) espresso . HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thanks for the great hair, Nina! See you in 6 weeks.

After reading some outstanding reviews of Junior & Hatter on Yelp, I decided to get my hair cut there. I just got home from my haircut and straightened my hair to see what the cut looked like. This is far and away the worst haircut I've ever received. I'd asked for a trim and to have a few more layers put in. Instead of that, I got a lopsided cut, with 2-3 inches taken off (definitely more than a trim), and entire pieces of hair that just weren't cut at all. I was going to email Junior & Hatter the photos I took of my bad haircut, but they don't have an email address listed on their website. I also tried calling to leave a message about having someone fix my hair tomorrow, but they don't have a voicemail. I'll be calling again when they open in the morning in hopes of getting my hair fixed ASAP or getting my money back. Update- I called the salon and went back in to have the co-owner fix my haircut. He was very apologetic and seemed pretty appalled that I'd been given such an awful haircut at his salon. He offered me a free keratin treatment this past weekend, which I took him up on. It's been a few days and I think it turned out okay. I really like the location and the vibe of Junior & Hatter, and I appreciate that the owner made amends for my less-than-ideal experience, but I'm not sure that I'd return or that I'd recommend the salon to others based on the steep pricing ($85 for a haircut + style) and the quality, or lack thereof, of the original cut I received.

The people that greeted me when I came in today could not have been any less friendly. both lacked communication and Just had me sit in a chair with no explanation of where hairdresser was or even a hello for that matter.

I never post negative reviews as I know it can be detrimental to a small business, however, one would think that as a salon owner you ensure the quality of the work you perform would meet a certain expectation. I had my highlights done here, & the outcome was atrocious, and they refused to refund me the money. I went for golden blonde hair, and left with orange burnt hair with white and orange streaks & I have the photos to prove it. The most disappointing part is I had been to this salon many times for haircuts, & even recommended friends and family; one would think that as a long-standing client the owner would rather try & make things right as opposed to refusing to assist in any manner. The experience is very disappointing to say the least, & it's a shame for people to waste their hard earned money on a service that was rendered so poorly. I had to wear a hat for weeks until I was able to get it fixed somewhere else, and even then, I'm still dealing with the aftermath of this nightmare. Do NOT waste your money coming here.

Arlene is amazing!! It's very hard finding a colorist in Miami that performs balyage to absolute perfection and I have finally found her. I've been going to Arlene for about 2 years and each visit I leave even happier knowing my hair looks and feels amazing. She's the absolute best!

Came here for the first time to get a haircut, i was pretty nervous at first made and appointment with jennifer travieso and explained to her what i wanted.... what can i say i loved it... she was super sweet and very understanding, the place was super cool, my haircut came out to be super cute and amazing. I had a lot of compliments the very first day, this is my new hair salon and jen is my new favorite hairdresser.

Absolutely the worse experience ever. I made an appointment for my wife by suggestion from a friend. She showed Ilana a photo of what She was looking for. She didn't have her hair cut in 6 months to let her hair grow. The result was hands down the worse cut She ever had in her life. I thought my friends incident was a once off but obviously this is the norm in this place and would never give them a cent until they hire proper stylists that actually LISTEN to the clients needs. Unfortunately the manager didnt know how to handle this situation. Really bad customer service and no talent at all.

Was on vacay in Miami for 3 weeks! Randomly walked into this salon looking for last minute root touch up! My stylist Nina went above and beyond! She did a heavy foil on me, and toned it to my liking. Was extremely patient with me, I get nervous when I go to someone who isn't my stylist! Definitely recommend her 10/10, especially if you live in Miami!

The best place for men's haircuts in Miami. Period. Skilled and friendly staff and surprisingly reasonable prices. Men's stylists who know how to cut hair and shape beards. (Also women's salon stuff, see other reviews). Most barbershops in Miami know how to give one men's haircut - the fade. Because that's what 98% of Miami natives want. Then there's 1% that wants the "party rock" poof man bun. And lastly, there's 1% that want an *actual* haircut. If you're in the last category, this is the spot for you. (They do the fades and the poofs too, if that's what you want. No offense bro). Medium length men's hair? Ask for Mitzy. She is a pro. Don't be intimidated by the wynwood address or the hipster decor. Stop trying to explain what you want to basic barbers and women's stylists. Men's cut and shampoo is about $50 (2018). If you're used to paying $7.99 at Supercuts, take my word for it - $50 is a good price for a quality cut.

I had a really great experience here with Kristina! I came in after a long time without a cut and my hair was super, super dry and in terrible condition. She put a hair mask on and then gave me a trim which I absolutely LOVED, and was super sweet and friendly the whole time. The experience was very relaxing and COVID friendly also. This is definitely going to be my new regular spot!

Stephanie is amazingggg. If you have curly hair, then you know how hard it is to get a decent haircut. Search no longer because Stephanie is your girl! I had my first devacut with her and refuse to let anyone else touch my shape. She is extremely knowledgeable in ALL curl types/patterns, providing instructions for maintenance and product recommendations. I hope my pictures do her justice because she's honestly a curl god!

Stephanie is the best thing to happy to curly hair ever. Not only is she an artist with color, she always makes sure I leave fully educated on the best way to care for my hair so I don't have to visit as frequently. Crazy to have a stylist who teaches you how to maintain healthy hair and lessen your visits! But she's an absolute angel and I will never see anyone else.

Let me tell you, I mean it when I say I don't let anyone touch my hair! Michael cut my hair and blow dried and it looks phenomenal. I was nervous the whole time he was spinning around me with his scissors. I told myself " just play a game on your phone and wish for the best" and i looked up and thought "Thank god!!" He definitely knows what he is doing and I will be returning!

Wow!!! Best experience ever! Nina made me feel right at home. I was nervous because I wanted to switch things up and go blonde, but as soon as I sat into Nina's chair, I was out at ease. Nina was very knowledgeable and kind throughout the process. She had such great energy. I'm very happy to have found Nina, because she gave me the PERFECT blonde!!!!! Nina walked me through aftercare, and even helped me set up my next appointment to make sure my new beautiful blonde locks stay as healthy and beautiful as possible. I am happy to say that I have found my forever stylist!

Worst hair cut experience of my life ! I am 37 years old! I had so many ! This was by far the worst ! Fausto should not be in service or hospitality! He literally told me it's always the last customer who makes you do more than one cut ! Wow ! I showed him pic of what I wanted ! He did something different . I asked him to a little shorter on sides! Oh wow then he got mad ! Very mad! Made me so uncomfortable during the whole thing ! He was literally arguing with me ! At the end he just asked for gratuity straight up ! His barber skills are horrible also but I am not even going there !

Love, love, LOVE my new cut by Stephanie! She has truly earned the title of "CurlNinja". Not only did she give the exact cut that I asked for but she also consulted me on the best products and techniques to use to achieve the look that I want on a daily basis. She takes her time and really commits herself to providing the best service and making sure the client is happy. There is a reason her books are full months in advance!

I tend to only write Yelp reviews for companies where I experienced something outstanding and positive. If you looked at my page, you would see that I've never actually written a negative Yelp review. At Junior & Hatter, I experienced such bad customer service and hair styling that I eventually asked for a full refund and I even asked for the tip to be returned to my card as well, which was super awkward, but unfortunately had to be done. I went to Junior & Hatter a few days ago to get highlights and refresh my look a bit, after getting some, (maybe about 12 total highlights) put into my hair and falling under the "partial highlight" ($100) category, the highlights were blow dried to reveal random placement and scattered blond pieces in my hair, it looked super weird and I offered to pay the full $175 for the "full highlights" and expected to receive just that- full highlights. What I received was about 10 more highlights, placed in random areas, and streaks all over my hair. Not only did the stylist, Jennifer, make my hair look like Lindsay Lohan in the movie Freaky Friday, but when I called to explain that I was extremely dissatisfied with my hair, she was notified and decided to call me back herself. She called me from the salon while I was in a meeting, and I answered politely; she told me that since I had upgraded from partial to full highlights, that this was the best she could do in that situation, and that if I wanted to come back and get it fixed, she would be charging me the full $175 on top of the amount I had already paid- can you believe it? I was shocked that she was requesting more money after the hack job I had received, and I asked for the manager, Jill, she apologized and gave me a full refund and offered to have the owner fix my hair, to which I declined. Jill is the only reason I didn't give 1 star to this place- she is extremely professional and knows how to talk to people and show empathy. If I were her boss, I would give her a raise. Will not be returning to Junior & Hatter, I'll sacrifice the mason jars and exposed brick for a professional hair salon.

Another great experience at Junior & Hatter. The ambiance is relaxing and the barber area is rich and eclectic. I usually do not do reviews but when I see excellent service I support those creative professionals with amazing talent.

I went to Junior & Hatter because it was the closest to my new apartment in wynwood. I was hesitant at first because a men's cut is $50 (I have never paid more than $20 in my life) but the experience was eye opening. My stylist, Mario, talked things through and gave his recommendation. This was followed by a hair wash and massage by one of the other girls that work there which felt great. Then came the haircut, immediately the difference was clear from what I'm typically use to. The skill and experience could be felt just from how he worked the hair. This is why I will keep going back.

This is a review of the service at the reception. Mario was amazing and did a great job! I would love to come back and get a haircut from Mario!! But I am giving one star because the lady at the reception. As I didn't have any cash I wanted to put the tip on the card. The guy next to me was putting the tip on the card so I assumed you can put the tip on the card (who had the same men cut $50). The lady who was wearing a blue dress came out and said no you can't put it on the card and that they have an atm inside. I was truly confused as the guy next to me was putting tip on the card. I don't know if she was being a racist (because my partner told me that another guy put $10 tip on the card before I came out), but I am a little sadden how she treated me like that. Hope she would understand it hurts a little when you treat people differently.

I haven't been to junior & hatter in over 4 years and have been dying my hair blonde forever and finally decided to go back to natural. My hair was worn down, dead and tired. The salon recommended Ilana for a colorist as I wanted someone who was good at going from light to dark. So happy with the results!! She's awesome

I've been here 4 times in total. I was pretty happy the first 2 times I went. I must admit that the last two times, have been disappointing. The second to last time I went I had booked a color appt for my little sister and a cut for myself since they didn't have time to fit me in for both. They ended up over booking the stylist and only my sister got tended to. I was less than pleased, as they didn't even try and accommodate me with another stylist. Fast forward to this last time I was there, maybe about a month ago. I booked a hair cut with a stylist I hadn't previously seen. I was desperate for a cut, after all I got pushed aside the previous time. I have really long hair, which I know can be difficult for some people. I asked the stylist to cut off the damaged ends and keep the cut simple (I was willing to sacrifice more length!). Long story short, I still have plenty of damaged ends and the cut is definitely not even. I think the appeal of this place is the location and hipster vibe. I got sucked into it, because it's a nice way to spend your time. Other than that, it sucks that you have to pay for parking, and clearly quality is not priority. So, fellow yelpers, I'm taking suggestions for a new well recommended salon/stylist PLEASE! I hate that I have to pay so soon for a new cut, but it feels like I never cut my hair to begin with.

This is a beautiful, new stylish salon in the trendy Wynwood area. You can not miss this place with the bold zebra pattern building it is in. Their staff is welcoming & friendly, quick to make you feel at home even offering you a choice of beverage. Mario has been my stylist for a few years now & he is amazing!!! I usually get a cut & blow out, but he has also done highlights for me (perfectly done). I always feel like a rock star when I leave his chair & you will too. He has an edgy style that's all his own & he will be honest to let you know what works best for you. My son has also been seeing him for a while now & he gets major compliments on his cuts... & you know when you're a teenager, that's very important! Don't hesitate to make your appointment... you will not regret it!

Today I had a fabulous facial, mani pedi and brow tint by Amy! I highly recommend her. I've had lots of facials over the years and this one was the best! I expected good, but got great. I have no idea what the mask was (she explained but I forgot) but it felt wonderful. Amy is very knowledgable about skin as well as overall health. She must be part scientist! It's always fun going to Junior and Hatter, but go get that facial!!!

Best salon in the world. No joke. Been a regular for 4 years now and even moving out of town i came back to do my hair. They use the best products and all their stylists are super qualified. Mario is the best hairdresser in the world. Just allow him to work his magic on you. Nina makes the color like no one else. She's the sweetest + profesh. They're like family. Great location and amazingly fair prices.

Michael is simply the best and so very talented and knowledgeable! He consistently has provided the best haircuts I've ever had! It's been really hard for me to find someone who can cut my hair so the curls lie well and aren't weighed down, but he did that effortlessly! He combines the art of a razor and scissors to do amazing work! He gave great advice for styling products (without pressuring me to buy) and methods for my finicky hair, but with the haircut he gave me, my curls were much nicer even without using product (where as before I needed 3-5 products at a time). I love the way he styles my hair and shows me how to use products. He is friendly, punctual, funny, easy to talk to, and very talented. For his amazing work, his prices are of a great value for the price, especially in Miami! Junior and Hatter has an amazing vibe! The decorations, furniture, and ambiance are all amazing and cover even the smallest details while remaining functional! Staff are all very nice and talented, and the place is clean and modern!

Stephanie "The Curl Ninja" revived my curls from the brink of extinction. In our time together she taught me how to take care of my hair, which curly hair products to use and how. She stays BOOKED for months but I was able get an appt via cancellation. It was so worth every penny and following her on instagram is a godsend for information on curly haircare & love. Just look at this before and after . I look forward to being a long term client no matter where she goes and im already booked in 2019.

This was my second time there to trim the beard and cut my hair, the barber specialist was Ashley, the best experience ever, she is really a professional and so polite, I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a great experience and a great haircut/beard trim.

In Miami for Christmas break and both kids needed haircuts. Stumbled upon this place while walking through Wynwood and have to say it may be one of the coolest looking barber shops I have seen. Was lucky enough that Lisa had availability and fit then in. Both kids were thrilled with the results and Lisa was patient is a star.

I love this place, I really do. But I've got a bone to pick with you Junior & Hatter. You guys do SUCH a beautiful job with hair. Extremely talented stylists. So much so that I have recommended others to visit your salon but the attitude, I just cant get behind it. I preface it every time I recommend a friend to visit...BUT I LOVE YOUR WORK. which is the most important part. I went in after work one night and as per the usual, it was packed. I was welcomed by an older woman behind the receptionists desk and she was just awful. What a terrible first point of contact. Rude & off putting would be the best way to describe her. She asked me to take a seat on the couch. I look behind me and errrr there is no room on said couch. Which is totally fine so I stand around and after 15 minutes I take a seat on a random chair further down the salon. 10 minutes pass, said sassy woman lets me know that my hair stylist has been overbooked but somebody else is available. I say fine, I've waited long enough and Ill take whatever I can get. Turns out I LOVED the job Samantha did. I felt like a new woman. She listened to my needs and truly gave me the haircut I was looking to get. Overall, I would go back. But we warned, they're not the nicest crowd.
