⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — 9/10 Would Definitely Recommend Today my husband and I visited and we were pleasantly surprised from start to finish. The wait was super quick — we were seated in less than five minutes, which is always a great start. Our waiter was amazing. Friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. He suggested the Charleston-style shrimp and grits, and let me tell you… it was so good. Full of flavor and seasoned perfectly. My husband ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and a Coca-Cola barbecue sauce. Hands down the best chicken sandwich we’ve ever had. The chicken was juicy, not dry at all, and the sauce tied everything together perfectly. The fries were just okay — nothing special, your typical average fries — but everything else made up for it. And the sweet tea? Amazing. Sweet, refreshing, and exactly how sweet tea should taste. Overall, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Great service, great food, and a great experience. 9/10 — highly recommend!

Google
My first time there and was very impressed! The food looked and tasted amazing! The sangria is a must try! Best fried green tomatoes I've ever had! That short rib is food dance worthy! I could go on, just go see for yourself

I had driven from NC and one of my friends found this place for me! What a perfect fit! The food and atmosphere was amazing. My server was very attentive and what I love of my Midwest roots. Thank you all for making me feel welcome after dropping in after a long drive! I highly recommend 🥰

Very tasty! I got the flight of deviled eggs and the fried green tomatoes. It was my first time here. I would def go back. The atmosphere is delightful. Great place to meet a friend for lunch.

Google
Amazing place to grab a bite to eat with friends or even solo! We sat out on the patio and even with it being slightly chilly, they offer outdoor heaters if needed. Service was very attentive, thank you Zach, and the fig salad/sangria was absolutely delicious!

Google
Lovely visit for lunch with our family. Very accommodating with a baby, great service, and helpful staff. The restaurant was clean, organized, and cheerful inside. The menu has wide variety of southern coastal classics and the dishes are quite large portions. The pricing is pretty steep for a lunch; however, you’re paying central Carmel prices. Really enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich, short rib pimento grilled cheese, Cobb salad, deviled eggs, and CBR chicken sandwich. Would recommend sharing dishes if you’re not really hungry. Overall great spot and will be a repeat place for us.

Google
This was a hidden gem! We were visiting Indy but we like to go to the surrounding neighborhoods and found this place in Carmel! Super cute inside and quaint. The service was great and the food was even better! We had the crab cakes and the fried green tomatoes to start both were really good I just forgot to take a picture! Since it was lunch we were keeping it light and had salads both very different salads but so good and HUGE! I had the Forsyth Fig which was sweet and savory love the fried goat cheese balls. And my husband had the St Simmons Salad! 10/10 would come again!

Carmel continues to reach new heights in growth, currently becoming Indiana’s fifth largest city while still attempting to maintain a bit of small town Hoosier charm. An example of that charm, in the heart of the town’s very busy Arts District, is Juniper on Main. It doesn’t come off as pompous or showy; it actually looks somewhat like a Southern house and feels quaint and homey inside. The food is absolutely delicious and what I’d call “comfort food with an upscale flair”. A Charleston-meets-Mississippi vibe. Still down-home cooking by nature, yet still classy by touch. I joined four other friends for a lovely dinner, garnished with warm staff service. The staff and owners have done a fine job here. I definitely recommend it.

Yelp
Wow. Traveled here for an event and the food is next level. We ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes - came out fast and perfectly cooked. The aioli and the apple jam were fantastic. The Short Rib Manhattan was perfection!! All of it. The meatloaf was just home comfort on a plate. Ambiance and servers - were amazing. Don't settle - come here. PS. Reservations are recommended. Enjoy!

Yelp
Nice litttle dining place. They have outdoor seating in warm weather. Parking is good nearby. Started with crab cakes, it was enjoyable when dipping on lemon aioli as the flavoring was lacking. I had to get 2 main courses with local stout glazed short ribs and grilled rib eye chimichurri as both looked really good. Both meat were tender and well flavored. Yum!!! Their fries are also very well flavored. Wifey got the peach glazed salmon. It was also well flavored. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Overall, had a really good time dining here.

Yelp
My family and I came here on a very crowded Carmel night and we were able to get in for a family dinner. The service was very friendly. The ambiance was comfortable. We ordered Quesadillas, bacon and pimento grilled cheese, fried chicken platter, short rib and pimento grilled cheese. It was okay. Our food came out very very quickly. Some of this was fried. Oh wow, we all said, that was quick we all added. But it was cold and tasted like it had been made some time ago. My wife had been here several times and always talked about how great it was. This time she said it was off - it was different. I don't know if we ordered something popular and these were premade or what happened. It looked good. Just seemed cold and old.

Yelp
I used to really love this restaurant, especially for the flavor profiles and consistency of high-quality menu items and ingredients. Lately, especially during my last visit, I am so sad to this quaint gem go downhill. My spouse and I arrived during a non-busy time and yet despite one person a table for two at the front of the restaurant, surrounded by several open tables, we were squeezed in between two parties in the back, so close to them that I couldn't hear my spouse across the table - very uncomfortable. Luckily we were able to move, after barely fitting through the tight space again to exit (tables were less than a foot from on another). I ordered a salad, which was pretty good, but I had to remove several brown pieces. My husband got the fried chicken meal which was decent, not great (no seasoning), but the collard greens were awful - we both gagged and had to spit them out. Clearly no one is tasting the food before serving it. The greens tasted completely metallic. Luckily we were able to get a different side, fresh green beans, which was a little better (very al dente, almost raw), but nothing was great. We ordered hummingbird cake to-go, my favorite part of coming here. I didn't think to check it before leaving, I just trusted it was great, as it had always been in the past. Upon getting home to indulge, we discovered it was a very stale, tiny piece of white cake, with white frosting, and a little coconut - NO hummingbird cake and no pineapple relish. I was very sad! I contacted the restaurant, just hoping to have the cake replaced when it's made correctly again, and never heard back. I'm not sure if they're too busy to care but quality control needs to be in place again. Until then, please spend your money at a place where quality matches the price, because this is not it (not anymore).

Yelp
Hello, delicious South Carolina cookin'. We've been here a few times but this is my first review. Our past experience taught us that their portions are large for two seniors so we decided to find something to split for lunch and I immediately landed on the short ribs, dinner portion. They offer a lunch portion a well plus something similar on the sandwich menu. This was more than enough for the two of us since the meal is so rich. The dinner portion has two large pieces of beef lying atop cheese grits, all of this partly covered with a rich stout gravy. Three pieces of cornbread were served on the side. This also comes with a topping of pimento cheese sauce which we had served on the side. I never touched it as it just wasn't needed! The beef was tender but I still had to use my knife to cut it. The grits were outstanding, just the right flavor for both of us, and the gravy was absolute perfection. The cornbread was good as well. Each part of this meal complemented the other nicely. We both certainly recommend it as you can see by our empty plates. BTW, they do not split meals in the kitchen but will bring an extra plate.

Yelp
Really good food! The salad that I got was absolutely incredible and the ranch dressing that was homemade. It was so flavorful. I also love the outdoor seating that you can use when the weather is good. A great place to catch up with friends and the service is great!

Yelp
Juniper on Main is an absolute gem if you're craving Southern fare. I went with friends for an evening out and the atmosphere immediately felt inviting and homey. We tried a few things throughout visiting multiple times: the Sea Island Platter was beautifully presented with fresh, coastal flavors that felt both indulgent and authentic. It had sweet plantains, coconut rice, and black beans. You can also add meat to it. For pure comfort food, the Buffalo Mac & Cheese was gooey, spicy, with just the right kick. Every dish leaned into comforting flavors! The service was attentive and friendly. I've really enjoyed my experiences there.

Yelp
What a surprise. It has been several years since I have been here. We came within the first year of this restaurant opening. I would have to say we were not overly impressed at the time. Flash forward to this weekend and we had heard there was a new menu and the food was much better. That is definitely true! A much more extensive menu and every bite of our dinner was delicious. We even went for the Hemmingway cake for dessert. Despite being busy, the service was quite good. The hostess allowed us to sit where we wanted, and the server was patient and quite pleasant. We will definitely recommend and come back again .

Yelp
We first dined at JoM a few years ago and i enjoyed everything, especially the grits. Even if you think you're not a grits person- GET THE GRITS! Visited again recently and everything was so delicious, staff are very friendly, dining room is intimate and comfortable. We got the grit cakes with bacon jam as an app (rather than a side) and it was the standout! Highly recommend and we will definitely eat here again

Yelp
Just as good as always. Had family in from out of town and decided to take them to Juniper on Main. We started with the corn bread basket and the fried green tomatoes. Both were great. Excellent panko fry in the tomatoes and the corn bread was a bit sweet and not too course, just like I like it. Forgot to take pics of these as we dug right into both. One in our party had the chicken salad sandwich and said it was very good. Another had the Pimiento Grilled Cheese with tomato and bacon and said it was outstanding and very rich. Third member of our party had the Hot Honey Buttermilk Chicken Strips and said they were excellent as well. I had a taste and will try these next time. (These would be outstanding with waffles.) I had the low country boil and it was every bit as good as the first time I had it. Loads of shrimp, potatoes, sausage and corn. A must try if you have ever had this dish anywhere else. Service was outstanding and quick. Drinks stayed filled. We ate outside and it made for a perfect day.

Yelp
This was a complete random find. We were traveling to Carmel to see our son. The menu had a large number of options. I got the BLT that came with a fried egg. Sounds a bit weird, but it was fantastic! A quick glance at other patron's meals an it was easy to assess everything on the menu looked amazing. The portions were large and the service was great. We sat outside, but the inside seating looked wonderful too. The next time we are in Carmel, we'll purposefully select this restaurant.

Yelp
This was our first time dining at Juniper on Main. We sat at a table inside in the front room. At first, I thought it was loud due to the amount of people. However, after most of the people were gone, it was still hard to hear my friends sitting right next to me. The food is good. Within a menu that reminds me of southern cooking. I ordered the blackened catfish with grits and okra. The plate came out with two good size portions of catfish a large portion of okra and a cup of grits play. It was big enough that I was only able to finish the fish and part of the okra. My son ordered the seafood boil and loved it. Next time we visit we'll request an outside table. That should help provide a more comfortable experience.

Yelp
In town for a family Christmas meet up, coming from three different states to meet in Carmel, we chose Juniper for our family dinner outing. Super accommodating, friendly from the get go, and amazing service. Warm and bright interior and the patio looks like it would be a great setting in the summer. The menu is large - I think just a little too large to the restaurant's detriment to be honest, and there's high likelihood everyone will find something to try. We started with deviled egg flights and cornbread for the table. Unique styling to the deviled eggs - none were the same - which was a cool way to present but also frustrating because it would have been great to try more than one! They were tasty but really cold and the yolk filling had almost hardened a bit. I enjoyed the black and bleu tacos. The corn salsa and pickled onion made that dish. Really unique flavor combo with the bleu cheese and I liked it! The coconut rice and citrus beans were a touch on the bland side. Overall, with our large party, I felt as though the consensus was that everything was good. Happy to have spent our money there and happy that everyone found something on the menu to enjoy. My one advice offering would be to trim down the menu slightly to allow just a little more attention to the dishes and really make them go from good to great.

Yelp
Food. And service were great. Should have a reservation. Very crowded each time I go there. But worth it.

Yelp
Awesome food and environment. It's understandable why this place has so many positive reviews.

Yelp
came here for lunch & it was amazing. out of all the carmel restaurants i tried in my very brief weekend trip, juniper is the one i think of first. the property is giving house + gigantic homey front porch vibes. we love. the green apple grilled cheese was solid. maybe a bit sweeter than expected, especially with the cinnamon (i think it was cinnamon???). the staff is friendly & their bathrooms are cutesy. next time i'm trying the flight of deviled eggs or so yelp me god...
google avatar

Yelp
Service & food EXCELLENT I had the chicken tenders, coke slaw & grits. Can't wait to go back

Yelp
Our monthly supper cub visited! Everybody absolutely love their food. We tried to mix it up, but three of us ended up getting the shrimp and grits. Highly recommend! The hubby got a shrimp boil for one and we ordered cornbread for the table - it was almost like dessert! Be sure to get the deviled eggs as an appetizer. Next time we'll get two orders since there were six of us and five eggs.

Yelp
I have come to Juniper on Main several times now, and unfortunately, the experience seems to be getting worse. I have no complaints about the food. It's always delicious. But when I was most recently there, the inside had so many flies buzzing around the tables. Not just one or two but 10+. Also, at one time I counted seven high school/college girls around the welcome desk just looking at each other playing on their phones, and not engaging with customers in anyway. I was a little shocked at the wardrobe! One of the girls really only had on an oversize T-shirt. If she was wearing shorts, you couldn't see them. I hate to ding the restaurant for this, because I really do feel like the food is good and the location is great. But I would encourage them to have higher standards towards their staff and to please get some fly traps!

Yelp
Fried green tomatoes....theres really no need to go further. I don't eat meat or dairy very often and this place has the most amazing option called the sea island platter that has citrus black beans, plantains, coconut rice, and asparagus, and it was delish! My husband had the shrimp and grits, which they are known for, and it was amazing as well! They have ample patio seating, with heaters so even if it's cold you can sit out there. The inside is not huge, but cute. The service was good, and fairly fast for as busy as they were.

Yelp
This might just be my favorite restaurant in Ham Co!!! I've been here a handful of times and have never had a bad meal! The staff is always friendly, and I love that they take reservations over the phone. The ambiance is quaint--it's literally a house that's been converted into a restaurant, making it super cozy. My only minor complaint is that it can get a little loud, but they do have panels on the walls to help soften the sound. The food is absolutely to die for. I've ordered the braised short ribs the past few times, and they've always been incredible, so I was hesitant to branch out. But I'm so glad I did because my fried chicken platter was unreal! I was a little nervous that the hot honey would be too spicy, so I got it on the side instead. It turned out to be the perfect balance of sweet and heat! I even enjoyed it on the cornbread appetizer we ordered (which was also fabulous, btw). I will absolutely be back--again and again and again!

Yelp
We went to Juniper on Main for an early dinner on Friday night. We sat outside because the weather was perfect. My wife, my daughter and I moved to the area from South Carolina last October and we actually got married in Savannah. Finding Juniper on Main was a pleasant surprise with several menu items we were used to having "back home". My wife ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and she absolutely loved them. My wife ordered a crabcake as her entrée, and I ordered the meatloaf. My wife enjoyed her crabcake and she said we must come back so she can try the shrimp and grits. My meatloaf was amazing. I generally don't order meatloaf out, but I was very pleased that I did at Juniper on Main. Proportion was also huge. Two large pieces of meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. All in all, we had a great experience and we will be back to try other menu items.
google avatar

Yelp
The salmon was delicious! I advise making a reservation because their walk in seating was limited.
google avatar

Yelp
Best upscale southern cooking. Juniper on Main is a delicacy and the perfect date night restaurant. The service is good and the food is 10/10. Not pictured are the deviled egg starter-ft unique takes on the classic deviled eggs

Yelp
Always down for some low country and coastal fare but this place was just a hot mess when we came here on a Monday night. So I will stick this place on my list that is called "I just want to give you money" because it was damn near impossible to pay (let alone get a hold of our server the entire time). We sat on the patio, our server came over eventually and then not again.....for a long time. We ordered an appetizer in hopes it would stave off the hunger but it took a bit albeit, it was delicious (crab dip). After that we played the waiting game......the food came out, we devoured it and it was delicious, although I didn't taste much chile lime flavor with the salmon not coconut with the coconut rice. After that we had to ask three different people to get our server so we could give him money. Nope, never again. Again, please let me just let us give you money in exchange for food.
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
We have been here a number of times and recommend it to our friends, yet unfortunately, we failed to impress one couple that joined us last week for a mid-week dinner. I enjoyed the shrimp and grits, and my wife enjoyed the salmon. Another of our couples in our group of six enjoyed their dinners, along with the flight of deviled eggs, the cornbread and the hummingbird cake. However, the third couple struggled with their choice of the house wine and the meatloaf with green beans, as the beans were undercooked. This still remains one of our go to restaurants, and we'll be back, just with some different diners next time:))
google avatar

Yelp
Might just be the best spot in Carmel! With nice patio seating (including heaters) and an extensive menu where everything sounds good, Juniper exceeded expectations. Service was very quick and very friendly.
google avatar

Connie S.

Yelp
Always enjoy my experience here! Love the Red Sangria which is served in a jar. Staff is friendly and ambiance is quiet, and can be considered casual or more formal depending on your dress preference.

Yelp
We had lunch at Juniper on a Wednesday at 1:30pm. It was not very busy inside, there were several parties outside. This was my first time here. It was excellent. I already have reservations to return in a couple weeks. We ordered the plate that was cheese grits, gravy, beef short ribs and pimento cheese over the top. It was excellent. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich with bacon and ranch on the side. Should have added cheese to the sandwich. It was good. Upgraded to the sweet potato fries. They were the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Outstanding! We ordered more to take home. We also tried two sides. The mac n cheese was fine. I wouldn't order it again. It wasn't as cheesy as I prefer. The beans and rice were very good. Loved them. We took cake home. They were good. They are not made by the restaurant. There were so many fabulous options on the menu. I look forward to trying more things. The service was friendly. I highly recommend.

Yelp
Came here on a random Friday night and we did not have a reservation. Had to find parking on a local street behind as their parking lot was very full. It wasn't a bad parking spot because we only walked about one or two short blocks to the restaurant. Upon arrival because we did not have a reservation, we had to sit outside, which was fine because luckily it was a nice weather evening on the cooler side. Only problem with their outdoor seating area is that the chairs are metal with no cushions and very uncomfortable The service was absolutely incredible and very friendly and helpful. We ordered one appetizer and one entrée each, and everything was super delicious. However, I have to say that for both entrées the main proteins were very hot and fresh off the stove while the sides of the potatoes and the vegetables were very cold. Not sure if the food is kept warm or if there is a plate warmer available back there in the kitchen, but that would've made the experience just a little bit better I would definitely come back here again because the food quality was good. The service and the ambience is fantastic and the location is awesome on the main street in Carmel.

Yelp
First timer here! Hubs and I just moved to Carmel a week ago from Charleston, SC (used to live downtown Indy '15 - '18) and man, I think we found our spot. Food: Phenomenal. Order the CBR chicken sandwich, you won't be disappointed. They do load it with the ranch dressing so I got a side plate to relocate some and dip any pieces that needed a little extra. Fries were really good. Hubs got the catfish and loved it. Only thing we would change is that the grits had a little more moisture to them. Service: I'm still giving them 5 stars even though there were some issues with staffing BUT they were upfront with us about it, thanked us for our patience, and that's all I can ask! Very friendly and helpful staff. Ambiance: We sat outside and loveddddd it! Inside was a bit more noisy so make that decision based on what kind of experience you're looking for! Very relaxing outside!
google avatar

Justin T.

Yelp
I was hesitant at first as the inside looks like it was definitely a house at some point that was turned into a restaurant. I wish it would have been warmer because the outdoor seating area looks amazing. The food was very good though and the staff made you feel very welcomed. I had the Charleston style shrimp and grits. They were good but if I had to give some semblance of criticism it would be that the sausage felt out of place in the dish. The sauce and shrimp were the stars and needed to be highlighted. My wife had the filet medallions. They tasted great and the potatoes and asparagus were a good compliment. In all... good place for a date night dinner.
google avatar

Jordan J.

Yelp
I went for the first time this evening with my wife. I love Southern-style cooking, so I was very excited to try it. And, it certainly delivered! The crab and artichoke dip appetizer was nice and hot, and the homemade naan chips to dip in it were great. I had the Savannah-style shrimp and grits. Terrific! The Coca Cola BBQ really rounded it out nicely. Bonus points for some tasty lemon blueberry cake for dessert and extra bonus points for having a dog-friendly patio! We love taking our dog out to dinner!
google avatar

Sheila D.

Yelp
Perfect dinner location and close to all the action in downtown Carmel. We enjoyed the southern comfort food, shrimp and grits and the southern coastal plate. The flavors were amazing and made you feel you were somewhere other than Indiana! They have a great outdoor patio for seating when the weather is nice. Service was good but we came in closer to closing time so the server seemed a bit distracted with closing task versus taking care of customers. The service would not stop me from returning as the food was that satisfying.
google avatar

Denise H.

Yelp
Cannot express our excitement and satisfaction of the food at Juniper's on Main. Hush puppies with sour cream are a wonderful and delightful delicacy. Fried green tomatoes best in the state! Deviled eggs are incredible. My new tasteful delight was the low country boil-corn, potato's, smoked sausage and shrimp - mmmm boy!!!
google avatar

Birgitta H.

Yelp
Such a cute little place w lots of charm! Very kind staff that treated us and seated us immediately. We were greeted by our waiter and he took our drink orders and answered questions. We had a very hard time picking what to eat because so many things sounded great. In the end we had the Hot Honey Buttermilk Chicken and the Meatloaf dinner. Excellent! The chicken is nice and crispy w just a slight drizzle of hot honey. Very tender and juicy. Served w fries and delicious Cole Slaw. The meatloaf was good, like an old fashioned home-cooked meal. The smashed red potatoes were good but we asked for gravy to enhance it and that was a delicious gravy! The meatloaf also came w sautéed zucchini, onion, corn and garlic that was light and very tasty. I look forward to coming back and enjoy a meal on the patio.

Yelp
What a wonderful place with excellent staff! I was trying to find a place to celebrate my friend's 50th birthday and after calling multiple restaurants that wouldn't allow me to make a reservation I came across Juniper on Main. They made making a reservation so easy and were so accommodating. We had a group of 10 and everyone loved their food. From the loaded fries to the salmon, everything was delicious. I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Natalie G.

Yelp
The lemon tarragon crème sauce was to die for! The chicken was amazing and very juicy! I do wish they went a little heavier on the "stuffed" contents, but I give it a 5/5!! The potatoes hit the spot! I was disappointed the asparagus was hard on the end. If you hope to sit inside, it is very small and you will likely need a reservation on a weekend.
google avatar

Amanda H.

Yelp
My family and I went here for my mom's birthday dinner. It was absolutely delicious and filling! It did really give a southern home cooked meal feel, comfort food at its finest! I am allergic to gluten and got the Habersham Hash Chicken and it was so good! The family got the cornbread appetizer and they enjoyed it! The whipped butter was also a huge bonus. Each of us enjoyed our plates! Our server was great, and gave helpful suggestions to each of us. The restaurant was clean and bright, it felt very homey. We sat inside but they also have a nice outside patio, if it weren't so hot.

Yelp
Two Haiku Review: A lovely restaurant. Southern hospitality, Large sizes, superb Food, great atmosphere. My sole critique would be that Inside can be loud.
google avatar

Rick F.

Yelp
THE BEST ATMOSPHERE!!! The restaurant has a very Southern Georgia vibe. All white interior, and the drinks are served out of canning jars. The Fried Green Tomatoes are perfectly breaded and not at all greasy. The breading is amazing. I had the CBR Chicken Sandwich, and it was perfect. Again the breading added a great flavor to the chicken. The sandwich is served with ranch, tomato and lettuce on a brioche bun. OUTSTANDING!!!!
google avatar

Kathy F.

Yelp
We love the fried green tomatoes and get them as an appetizer every time. Make sure to leave room for Hummingbird cake too.

Yelp
WOW FACTOR? Yes, the inside was lovely and very pleasant. UNWOW FACTOR? This is a first for my reviews. The servers did not seem well trained. Ours was upset when she mistook a simple question about dessert by bringing it to us -- we were surprised, had her take it back and then ordered the ones we wanted. Even the manager appeared new since she was discussing within earshot how another server was not doing a good job correcting a similar error with another customer. HAVE AGAIN: Southern coastal plate with crab cakes and shrimp was excellent. So delicious -- 5 stars. Key lime pie was good.
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
First time visiting Juniper on Main and I already can't wait to come back! The menu is the epitome of Southern cuisine and ambiance is very much southern, minimalist vibes. The patio also seems like such a chill spot to enjoy a meal and some fresh air. Unfortunately I did have to order three times because they were out of chicken and short ribs, but our waiter was nothing but sincere, apologetic, and attentive. Third time was the charm because the Halibut special I got was delicious and not too heavy on the stomach. The Savannah Style Shrimp and Grits was also yummy and a hearty portion with large shrimp. There are a handful of parking spots on property, but a lot of street parking since the restaurant is right on the Main Street in Carmel.

Yelp
Perfect lunch spot for a girls day out! Would definitely recommend the BLT and the sweet potato fries! Cozy, clean atmosphere and delicious food.

Yelp
Juniper on Main is a cute, little house off Main Street in the Carmel Arts District. The quaint restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. I've visited before, but my most recent experience was with a group of 15 of my coworkers for a bit of out-of-office fun. As I was walking up, the waiter seemed frazzled that we would want to split the check and said this request would be an additional 20 minutes at the end of our meal. No one in our party was stressed about this, but I get that he wanted to set expectations since other groups may not be so kind about a wait. When we went to order, he rattled off a list of menu options that were unavailable: including the deviled eggs that are a major draw to the restaurant. Bummer. Despite these set backs, the ambience and the food were delightful. I got the CBR chicken sandwich. It was tasty and nicely presented. My friend let me try a bite of her short rib and grilled Pimento cheese sandwich. Let me tell you... that was amazing. I'd be back for that. Tip: There is parking behind the restaurant if you can't find street parking!

Yelp
We had a great lunch in the heart of Carmel! We were able to be seated right away, both inside and outside, and we served quickly. Our waitress was amazing throughout or whole stay and our group all loved their food! I got the chicken salad sandwich which was delicious! Our food came quickly and we left happy!

Yelp
This is such a great restaurant in the heart of downtown Carmel. This is only my second time there. Service was fantastic, food was phenomenal, and we were drawn in by the Devour Indy menu. We shared the corn bread appetizer, which was delicious and came out hot and served with a side of butter. For my dinner, I ended up getting the garden salad (description from the Devour Menu: Sweet Corn and Basil Relish, Tomato, Cucumber, Cheddar, Romaine, Arugula, Fresh Herb Ranch (GF) as a starter, Black 'n Blue Alfredo Florentine Pasta (description from the Devour menu: Fischer Farm Beef Filet, Creamed Spinach Alfredo, Cherry Tomato, Parmesan Cheese), and the Hummingbird Cake for dessert (description from the Devour Indy menu: Pineapple, Banana, Pecan, Coconut, Cream Cheese Frosting with Grilled Pineapple Relish). They have such unique offerings. When I called to make our reservation, the gentleman who answered the phone was also very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended for some unique foods with excellent service. There is a parking garage nearby if you cannot find nearby parking, but there is also a little parking lot behind the business as well.
