The location is perfect, right next to Eagle Lodge. EV charging on-site if you care about that. Our room was nice but could use a bit of TLC. For the price of look for a little nicer accommodations.

I haven’t been here a full 24 hours and I want to go home. Why don’t you put on your advertisement: ‘whites only welcomed’. I booked this lodge 6 months ago with a group of 7 ppl. We also paid the total fee as requested, 6 months ahead!! At checkin today we were given rooms at their overflow property which is not as nice, and we weren’t allowed to use the facilities at Juniper since our rooms were at Sunstone. To be continued….

Beautiful resort. We had an issue where we got locked out of our room for 3 hours which was a bummer considering all of our stuff was in the room already, kids were wet from the pool and cranky but they totally made up for it and gave us a discount to stay another day. Well stocked rooms with essentials and more importantly we felt comfortable being there the week they re-opened (closed for covid19). Masks were required in common areas and the staff was super friendly.

Georgia was really patient and helpful letting us know all the interesting places to visit, hike and the lakes

Toplocatie tijdens onze roadtrip. Na het hoge tempo van de dagen voordien, was dit de perfecte locatie om tot rust te komen. Een dagje extra zou zeker aangenaam geweest zijn. De kamer, eigenlijk appartement, was perfect: 2 ruime slaapkamers, 2 badkamers, zithoek en keuken. En alles van alle gemakken voorzien. Het buitenzwembad was heel aangenaam, mooi en perfect proper. De omgeving is top en het personeel erg vriendelijk. Aanrader!

Excellent! Five plus stars. Stayed three nights and it was very enjoyable. Room was spotless with all the amenities ever needed, fabulous! Guest services above and beyond as well.

The place is fine. Service is good. I'm bumping them down from 4 to 3 stars because it is dated and shabby. The carpet is worn. There are chips in the veneer of the dining room table. The dishwasher is so loud we only ran it while we were out for the day. The burners on the old-school electric stove weren't plugged in. The armoire is broken. The TV only has linear cable (no streaming). Had the cost been lower, none of this would have mattered. For $500+ for two nights (during the off-season), I expected better.

We booked at the last minute and wished we did a little more research. This place is not close to any restaurants and does not have one onsite. There is a small gift shop/coffee shop that was supposed to open at 7:00am but it was not and I was told it probably would not open today. The resort is at 84% capacity and today is Saturday morning so I am not sure what they are waiting for? The rooms need updating and the carpets were pretty dirty. There was a shuttle that would bring you into the village or town that ran from 5pm-11pm and the driver Keith was very nice. Check-in was easy and the staff very nice.

Convenient and overall good experience. However maid service not so hot. Hairs in pullout bed. Blood on bed cover. Also, vending machines only took cash and didn't give change. Every place on mountain is cashless except their vending machines including the one in Kai dry room for soap and nit a single change machine. They loss probably at least $20 from me since couldn't get kids candy or soda. Healthier for kids tho. lol.

My husband and I stayed here over three nights. We had the nicest guy greet us at check-in. He answered all of our questions with a smile on his face and he also gave us some good restaurant and grocery recommendations. Our room was on the 5th floor of the main building facing east. It was nice to have a one-bedroom condo where we could cook our own food and have use of the warm swimming pool and hot tubs. There was some wear and tear with all of the cabinetry and the lamp by one side of the bed had a very crooked bulb base, but overall the condo was in good condition. I liked that you could open the door to the balcony and not worry about bugs because there was a screen. But my only issue is that our king-sized bed and pillows were not very comfortable. They were too hard for our liking so we didn't get the rest we had hoped for. It was a good base to go hiking on our favorite trails, like Devils Postpile and Rainbow Falls. I would go back to Juniper Springs Resort again -- but would bring my own pillows next time.

We stay here every ski season 2-3 times. We love the ski in ski out. Never once has anyone at the front desk welcomed us back. The rooms need to be updated. Everything is worn and showing age. No usb connectors. TVs are so old, remotes never work properly. There is no food on the premises except for a small cafe that sets their own hours whenever they feel like working. We came down at 6:50 and were told they are open until 8. However, they decided to close and would not serve us. There are few ski in ski out accommodations so we put up with the downside.

Such a cool ski in ski out experience! We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath townhome condo at Juniper Springs and I was impressed with the experience. We arrived at the resort a couple hours earlier than their 4pm check in, and they ended up being able to get us in early. We did get a bit lost trying to find our place (as it was not in the main building and ended up being quite a hike all the way to their furthest properties). It could be helpful if there was a cart to take us up the hill (as we were lugging all our bags and gear as well and didn't have a car). However, once we found our condo and settled in, it was smooth sailing. The place was clean and comfortable. One of the bedrooms had an en-suite bath. We also had a small living room and full kitchen. The kitchen was stocked with cookware, cutlery, etc. Also things like paper towel, a new sponge, mini dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. Large fridge. The coolest part was that our living room windows looked out directly to the Eagle ski lift/run, which is just a short walk away. Our first morning, we saw a fox run by our window. Front desk staff is super friendly. At one point during the first night of our stay, we got a little lost trying to navigate the shuttles. (We wanted to get groceries in town and didn't realize the daytime shuttles ended at 5:30pm.) I called the front desk for some help and they walked me through step by step in downloading an app (MAWS Hotel Shuttle) that essentially was like calling an Uber/Lyft but free! Our driver also dropped us off directly in front of our door and saved us the small trek from the main building with all our heavy groceries. Door code for entry was convenient. We had WiFi and a TV. Daily housekeeping. There's a hot tub right outside our door. (Only minor note is that the sound really carries into one of the bedrooms from folks chatting in the hot tub, even when not talking loudly.)

Room 305 smelled of moldy or musty. The coffee machine was broken, the bed was worn out. Not all the lights work. Also they took money out of my security deposit without explanation and when I called they said they would refund it but I did not receive anything so they lied! Stay somewhere else.

Our check in was in less than 5 minutes. The person at the front desk was very friendly and professional, I think his name was Harry Mendoza. The room was super clean and everything was well organized, our room was very quiet which allowed us to connect with nature at night. We are definitely going back soon!! They don't have air. conditioning but I remembered on other trips to the mountains almost no resort has a/c

I have stayed here twice, one in the regular hotel and once in a ski in ski out condo. Both were fantastic. I also had an amazing interaction with one of the employees named Lannie. She was fantastic and incredibly helpful! As for a brief review; the hotel can feel dated an in need of some upgrades, but over all it served me well during my stay. One thing that agitated me was the inability to bring snowboards or bikes into our room. I understand why as this would cause excess damage to the floors especially in snow season, but I would prefer doing this for for security reasons. Besides that the hotel is a solid 4 stars, but the location next to the ski lift is the huge benefit along with the ability to get lift tickets/passes on site which makes it a 5 for me. However, my experience with the ski in/out condo's they manage was 5 stars all the way. You can't beat the location and the condo was much better than staying in the hotel, and I will 100% book them again. We had a 3 bedroom and it was incredibly comfortable and we could bring our snowboards inside :) Overall the resort's main selling point is location, and IMO, worth the price.

First time visiting and I can tell we will be back. We had the best experience to date at juniper springs. The two (manager and front desk attendant) were so helpful and welcoming. The room was perfectly clean, I could not have asked for a better resort to stay at to celebrate my husband's bday. Also the manager lanie I believe was her name brought my husband a nice card and wine bottle to celebrate, I have only had this treatment at Disney resorts. Definitely a must if you are in mammoth.

Five stars! This place is absolutely amazing; think the hotel from the movie The Shining! Not anything scary of course but the exterior of it resembles it. This hotel has the most beautiful rooms ever complete with a full kitchen, living room, a balcony, bathroom and bedroom too. Not ever room is the same because we learned that each room is privately owned which adds to their character. The hotel also has a fitness gym, a coffee shop (called the Daily Grind), a fire pit for making s'mores (yay) or grill areas for barbecuing food and the most gorgeous pool area (that is heated to 85 degrees) and three separate spas. The staff is amazing and accommodating as well. My husband and I are currently on vacation here (staying four nights) and we couldn't ask better accommodations. Highly recommend!!

We liked or stay at this resort. It was a 2-bedroom that sleeps for 6 (there's only 4 of us) with a full kitchen. Our room was clean when we arrived and best of all the receptionist allowed us to check-in a bit earlier-- it was a huge relief especially driving 6+ hours coming from Socal. The resort is a stone throw away from chairlift #15. If the common areas/hallways were updated, I could've added another star.

Greeted with a nice welcome got checked into our first room which was nice but then decided to see if we could have a view of the slopes which she was more then happy to grant our wish which was really nice of the girl who assisted after check in The resort has a big beautiful swimming pool spa and fire pit area a nice gift shop and cafe and fitness center with nice equipment This resort is a must visit super clean well staffed and quiet and relaxing The most relaxed experience I've had thank you oh one more thing nice balcony as well Please when staying in mammoth give this place your business

Update: on our final night, we noticed the ceiling in one of our bathrooms was leaking water with BLACK MOLD growing everywhere. I was unfortunately exposed to it and have been experiencing the respiratory effects of it. Called front desk to request for someone from maintenance and they rudely dismissed us saying there's no one so wait for tomorrow morning! This is a serious health hazard and yet management treated us like criminals with some of the most dehumanizing behavior whenever we lodged a complaint. Was literally told "it's not our problem. If you don't like it, you can leave". Absolutely disgusting customer service in what should be a world-class destination for tourists. Highly unprofessional management and staff. Amenities listed on the website and property info that are not even available. Front desk manager should not be running a hotel at a first-class destination whatsoever. Dismissed guest concerns during our stay and overall this place is not worth the price tag to be treated like a second class citizen.

The resort itself was awesome, but an older couple who was staying at the resort had two large dogs who were barking and running around with no leash. I informed the front desk, but nothing was done. Then, as I was on the 2nd floor landing. The 2 dogs off leash rushed me. I froze and faced the wall. The man called them back and said, don't worry,there good dogs. I was so scared and angry that I immediately got away and into the elevator. I later, after gathering my composure went down to the front ck in and spoke to the Mgr Manny, who was rude and dismissive and didn't even try to help me. He made me feel as if I was bothering him. When I still heard the dogs later that evening I called down to the front desk and Manny again dismissed my concerns.

Best ski in and ski out at mammoth. Hidden gem . Best beginner green runs on the mountain. Sunny side of the slope so season ends quicker on that side. Free charging for electric cars. Nice warm pool to soak in.

Love this place! Stayed again for the 4th time! Staff is AMAZING! Room was super clean! Stunning views of the mountains and just a few steps to the slopes!

Decent accommodations, pretty clean and well kept. Unfortunate though that the bedroom windows only crack vertically 3 inches and they do not allow for any airflow. Without air conditioning, it was uncomfortably, stuffy, and warm in our room the entire time. Front desk staff was great! Very friendly and helpful. The young man working in the coffee shop, however, was quite the opposite. We asked for one regular coffee and two mocha iced coffees. He proceeded to make all three hot coffees and argued with us when we told him we asked for iced. Upon paying, he was unable to give me the correct change because the cash register was telling him what to give me. I explained to him that the cash register was incorrect, and he was not able to count to figure out the appropriate change. He was very rude and seemed annoyed that we were in there in the first place.

Great location: Very short Walking distance to eagle express chair lift, eagle lodge and eagle rentals. Public transit stops right in front of hotel and can take you anywhere important. Hotel shuttle called MAWS can take you anywhere you ask and pick you up for free! I just tip them. room: I got the 1 bedroom with pull out sofa with full kitche and balcony. Fantastic, and relatively updated. I cooked breakfast easily for a fam of four. Hotel amenities: Heated pool and hot jacuzzi great. Storage lockers for your skis and boards secure with code and can fit about 3 boards and 3 skis in each locker , each locker specified per room . Lockers are on the first floor. Gym small but useful. Ski and board rentals are in house too but DO NOT use them. Go somewhere else please. It took one lonely employee 1 hour and 45 min to help us out with our gear reservation . Only 7 ppl were ahead of us. Parking: Lotsa parking avail. Big trucks and suvs have special oversized parking. Electric vehicle - 4 tesla destination chargers. 1 non-tesla j1772 charger. If you go here with an electric vehicle buy the Lectron tesla to j1772 adapter so that you have options when the non-tesla J1772 charger is busy with another car. Trust me - the Lectron adapter works well giving you about 35 miles per hour. Snow was good this week and the constant snow storms didn't stop us from having fun even though they had to shut down a lotta lifts sometimes. It was expensive about $850/night. But it's high season. And you're paying for a nice room and a short walk to the lift. This is better than Westin Monache in my opinion. Better kitchen and closer to lift. I would stay here again, but get my rentals elsewhere.

I'll start by saying I booked my stay through Delta Stays, and I definitely as though that affected the overall quality of the room given to me. The property was rated 8.8/10 and I felt pretty good about the photos shown in their reviews, but the reality of the room was very disappointing. Something to note: none of the rooms in the delta stays photos showed green carpet. We were first given a room on the second floor (Which appeared to be under construction. There was masking tape and lockboxes in front of many of the doors. It felt abandoned.) but the room smelt foul. Not something you could easily air out. A mixture of sewer and rotten food is the best way I could describe it? We checked the fridge and freezer and found nothing. Asked the front desk if we could switch, and Hayden was extremely accommodating and did switch us to a room on the 3rd floor which seemed more well put together. Both rooms however by no means looked anything like the photos advertised to me. And overall the hotel had the feel of a motel 6, not a 3 star hotel. The hallways are very worn down, the door locks look as though they have been removed and replaced several times leaving behind holes in the doors, and the carpet was just dirty. The room felt and looked dirty as well. The towels, bedding, and robes provided were not longer white after seemly years of use, the bathroom had a strong mildew smell coming from the old shower curtain, and the carpet was coming up in several places throughout the room. We couldn't get the TV in the bedroom to work or the fireplace in the main room to turn on. After already asking to move once it felt like too much of a hassle to request a new room again. Overall, highly disappointed and wouldn't stay again.

Might be a bit on the pricey side for some, but for us we appreciate a true ski in/ski out place. The Eagle Lodge lift walking distance from the resort -- What more can you ask for?! Literally the closest, easiest way to get on the mountain. We also find that given how popular the main lodge and canyon lodge are, eagle lodge tends to be less busy at times. Love the amenities- locker on lobby floor for boards and skis, gym, heated (did I say heated?) pool and jacuzzis, and our personal fave- a gated secured heated garage. They also have a small coffee shop/convenience store open mornings that sell limited Mammoth clothing and souvenirs. The accommodates itself are generally very similar, but tend to be on the more outdated side. But nothing to complain about given the location. We typically stay in a two bedroom and use the kitchen to cook.

Mammoth is a beautiful place to visit..... we showed up on the week of Cross-country racing...... The town is packed.... But every where you look is beauty.... Trees, waterfalls, etc.... Our room at the resort was Great..... each room has its on kitchen, plus living space, dinning-room and balcony. ....perfect for us....

We always stay here in their 3b condos. It's basic and clean. Meets an expectations for a ski in / ski out. The kitchens and bedrooms are well stocked - lots of cups & plates, cooking utensils, heaters and dehumidifier, blankets. Could have used a few more in bathroom in terms of spare toilet rolls and soap. TVs are old but wifi works so if you bring a firestick, you're good to go. The place seems well maintained year over year. We stayed at the exact same condo 2 years later and looks like carpet was replaced recently. Overall we will come here time and again, don't ever change!

We visited on our roadtrip for the last night to get out of the trailer for a change in 2 weeks, but the hotel wasn't ideal. First of all our place didn't have AC. I guess there were a lot of fans but still it messed up everyone sleep. There was even an alarm for 5:58 am set which woke everyone up and the day ahead wasn't going to be good. Then they gave us a 70$ hidden fee for cutty Wi-fi and a pool that wasn't heated. when we asked the front desk, they said we couldn't go into the other pool. the only thing that was heated was the jacuzzi which was small. Lastly the front desk manager was saying over and over "don't park in overflow, park in Sunstone" what was very annoying we got scammed by this place.

Between the construction, lack of cleanliness (bathrooms both had evidence of prior guests) and the weird feeling of being watched by hotel staff on the balcony which raised safety concerns for my family we wont be returning. The location is nice but the staff was unresponsive to any concerns.

Beautiful resort lodge. Our unit was towards the front on the 4th floor. It was clean, fresh and equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our 3 night weekend (Sat-Mon). It snowed 2/3 nights. It was postcard perfect. Hubby and I had the fireplace going the entire time. It definitely was cold enough to use. Romantic, rustic, cozy, sweet vibes all the way. No kids or bring the whole family. Leave the furry four-legged ones at home, they're not allowed. Gym and pool amenities, but it was too cold to swim and who actually exercises on a getaway? They had a heated garage which was appreciated because coming from SD I had on flip-flops, of course. The staff were friendly and were quick to respond to requests. Minus 1 star because someone needs to do regular checks and maintenence on the furniture and appliances. Two of the dining room chairs were rickety and the oven handle was dangerously loose. Overall, we had a a great time and a relaxing stay.

Stayed here half a dozen times. They have a lot of new rules now that I don't recall them having before. And-- if you don't comply with the rules they fine you. For example, if you forget to close the curtains when you check out $25. If you forget to return the plastic key card $75. If you forget to bring all the trash in the unit to the dumpster outside $50. I have attached a shot of the dozen or so rules and their corresponding fines. Imagine checking out with two small children, extra ski gear and you have to coordinate a trash run-- after paying $800 per night. When we arrived the hotel had lost power so we couldn't park in the garage. In the morning they booted our car ($100 fine). The front desk insisted we pay it until a manager got involved who was cool and let it go. The rooms are generally nice and clean. Most staff are hospitable. And for some of the season the Eagle Express lift is outside your door.

Friendly front desk staff. Lots of amenities like the fire pit outside and small natural gas indoors. Unit is very circa 70 and dated and needs new furnishings. Built like a standard timeshare unit layout I can see that this was converted to hotel. Base of Eagle express next door I can see why many like to go ski and mammoth and come back. During the fire there was no room circulation as the dust outside was unhealthy and thus the temperature inside was stifling at 80. Even with the heater turned off. Making for uncomfortable stay.

Found out hot water didn't work and couldn't be repaired at 930pm after a long day on the mountain. Management offered a room change or $25 off resort fee... no assistance offered to move snow gear offered. Upper Management agreed $25 was a sufficient cost to refund. Management prefers you spend your evening moving belongings over enjoying your trip. Snowed in recently so views from bottom floors are boarded at the moment. Main entrance is closed and finding parking wasn't easily accomplished. For the price there are better alternatives.

This is the second time I've stayed here, two different rooms and I love it. I've read reviews and I'm not sure if some of the rooms are that bad or it's just opinion. They have everything that you need to cook for your stay. Everything works well, beds are comfy, small Ac unit in my room, games in living area. We always rent a two bedroom condo and it's perfect for our family of four. They have a little store , heated pool and jacuzzi and this location is perfect. Convenient stores are nearby as well as restaurants. Employees are also very friendly. Would definitely recommend and come back. Not pictured is the second room with two twin beds because my boys took over it quickly.

Juniper is the best! All employees are super friendly, kind and there to make your trip one you won't forget. Hayden and Harry are awesome, they helped me at the front desk. Thanks to everyone that made my trip to mammoth amazing!

This was a great experience. there is a special shuttle for guests to pick up and drop of whenever you want. the bad thing is the pool area the pool has pieces of hair floating in it and other black bits. the hot tubs are hood for sore muscles but you can get a headache and if your hungry and go in your ears might hurt very badly. but it is right next to the ski lift.

Got a deal on Expedia a year ago and good thing bc the price was higher closer to date. Comfy and great heated pool and Jacuzzi. Only thing that sucked was the bed ... It needs a refresher - creeky and too soft. So upgrade the beds please.

We've stayed here many times. Staying in the town houses and was hung up on by the front desk woman for being told we were rude for pointing out that on 3rd party sites, it doesn't say you DON'T get pool access.She insisted we dont and hung up. WTF? Won't be coming back.

I will start by saying this is one of the closest complex on the snow in mammoth! Ski in ski out! Pool on the snow with jacuzzi! Ski locker room, amazing fireplace, underground parking! It truly is a 5 star place! Very quiet and you just pop on your skis and get on the lift. Best place in mammoth

Long story short..booked to stay here from July 8th to July 11th (Thurs-Sunday) for a wedding on Friday. After the wedding today, we're leaving and going home. Worst night of sleep in my life. Mickey Mouse job done on the sink with the drain trap not working...not connected at all so the trap was closed and water drained slowly. Maintenance had just attached a straight pipe from the drain, not allowing the trap to work at all. Looked like previous guest had shaved before leaving because there were little hairs in the sink when we arrived. Beds are uncomfortable. Old spring style that hasn't been changed in who knows how long. No AC so the staleness of the air was unbearable. If you want to have the windows in the bedrooms open, you need to keep the blinds up because they don't close due to the window pane opening into the room. So..if you want the window open to let in some air, be prepared to have your neighbors outside watch you. Toilets are pretty bad. Let's just say that some plunging was needed and it wasn't that bad. Suggest using a public restroom in the lobby if you need to do some business..otherwise you'll wait forever for maintenance. Read other reviews about a bait and switch. The room we are in does not at all look like what is advertised. As others have said, this room does not warrant the amount of money spent. I know I said this would be short at the beginning..but once I got going..I just kept wanting to write more.

On a spare of the moment decision we decided to stop by Mammoth. We had only planned on a day hike, yet as this was my first time in Mammoth, we decided to stay for a few days. Juniper Springs looked beautiful. Your accommodating staff team, was first class. The central location made for quick access to wonderful hikes and ease of local grocery shopping/restaurants. We booked a studio and was provided with a beautiful room, all the amenities of being at home and the most spectacular views of the Mammoth mountains. We extended oir stay and your Front Desk Manager arranged everything so we dis not have to change rooms...thank you. We will be back amd highly recommend Juniper Springs.

We visited this resort for my birthday during "shoulder season" and the service was impeccable! The night manager Denzel was extremely helpful and gave us so much insight into the town and activities to do off the property! I read some reviews that said this property is old and that the rooms feel outdated but we loved the room and had no issues! The room decor was very true to mountain theme and had great amenities including a full kitchenette, a roomy bathroom, and a comfy bed!! Denzel answered all my questions (non-resort related) and went above and beyond providing extraordinary customer service! This property was perfect for my birthday and more importantly everyone I met had such a pride to live in mammoth lakes that it really warmed my heart! I will definitely return.

Definitely have nothing but great things to say about this place and their staff! Immediately upon arriving, we were greeted by a staff member that helped us with our luggage. That's really a big deal when you arrive to Mammoth in the middle of winter! There is a ton of snow and black ice everywhere. So having someone greet you while you're still in your vehicle is a plus. I was truly excited about our adorable 1 bedroom condo that overlooked the slopes, lift and lodge. One easy walk over. If you are planning on skiing, the resort offers rentals on the property as well as lockers for both men and women. They have an amazing outdoor area with one heated pool and 3 jacuzzi's. The walkways are heated so that the snow doesn't feeeze over. I definitely took advantage of the steamy hot jacuzzi, it was quite a view with snow and a bit of light snow happening above our heads. Just be aware that your hair will freeze immediately when you're out of the water. Definitely felt like a lucky snow bunny to be staying at this luxurious resort!

If you need an average in general but nice for Mammoth type spot to crash during your stay this is your place, but it is pricey and outdated and service is below par when you have issues. - This is an older resort with condos and timeshares that they rent out. - It is a typical mountain type resort with the basics. - Do not expect a 4-5 star hotel or true resort type experience. Especially during Covid in Summer 2021 (June). - It looks pretty at night, but in the day you'll see that the rooms are remodeled from the 90s. Not bad but not what one would expect for 4+ hundred a night for a 2/2. - I found hair that wasn't mine on my bedsheets, and my moms bed sheets smelled like a man had slept in the bed. None the less we slept. So it met it's main purpose. - Pool is open -Gym is open - Theres a resort fee $20 and underground parking is included as part of that - one hour from Yosemite and 2.5 to S Lake Tahoe. - There's a Vons close by and other little shops. - Kitchen is fully stocked with plates pots pans utensils for about 4 ppl. No condiments except salt n pepper. A working normal size fridge, microwave, TV in every room (3 total), dishwasher. Electric stove and oven. - storage via drawers and closets is good. We were There was a problem with the reservation and the night shift manager that came in after me dealing with this for one hour promised it would be resolved, but then the next am the day shift manager did not have the information. It was no fault of ours rather a system issue between the booking system and the actual booking. I dealt with this at 11:30pm for two hours while my 80yo mom waited in the car as she was exhausted and physically unable to stand or sit for long periods of time and finally got into a room and then come 8:30am I called to make sure it was resolved and it wasn't and now it's 11am and still no resolution.

My partner and I were looking forward to our Mammoth Lakes trip to celebrate our anniversary. Given all the popularity and good things other Californian's say about it, I had high expectations. I had no clue how expensive Mammoth resorts and rooms would be--especially given summer "off peak" pricing. We are native Chicagoans who don't ski so a winter visit is not for us. It seemed that the area drew off roading mountain bikers and hikers. I came across Juniper Springs Resort on multiple review websites (of course including Yelp) and it had decent reviews all around. What sealed the deal is that the room had its own fireplace, private patio and was spacious with its own full kitchen. Upon arrival, I met Kathy at the front desk. We were originally assigned a first floor room that faced the roundabout out front. I had originally requested a mountain view in my reservation since it was our anniversary and it was not cheap. Kathy relocated our room to the quiet third floor with mountain views--I was ever so thankful! Each condo/room was aesthetically different from another given that they are individually owned as part of a timeshare. I appreciated that the decor had a woodsy cabin feel and the bed was comfortable (in comparison to other reviews I had experienced). Since we were there for such a short period of time, we really spent our time exploring nature and dining out, versus taking advantage of the resort amenities (swimming pool, hot tub, outdoor grills, fire pits, Daily Grind coffee shop, etc). We did, however, have a lovely view of sunsets and enjoyed a bottle of wine while playing cards. Our Tesla also had a reserved parking spot with a charger in the one underground garage. Bottom line, the price is a bit high but our stay was pleasant. Everything was clean, given this was during the pandemic. WiFi was spotty but expected given the remote location. Otherwise no complaints--we would stay here again.

This resort was really nice for a winter weekend. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. We called ahead so we can check in a little early because we had an event to get ready for. The staff remembered and had a room ready for us when we arrived. They offered recommendations and assistance. They even shoveled our patio for us so we could sit outside and enjoy the view. I felt welcome and appreciated!

Cannot beat the slope side location! Walk straight out the parking garage to the chair lift. We stayed in a two bedroom with two bathrooms and a little kitchen & living room. It was perfect for a ski getaway. Beds were pretty comfortable. Gas fireplace made the whole place cozy. Staff was friendly and kept everything clean.

They do not honor their cancellation and no show policies. Better to avoid the risk and book other hotels at Mammoth.

Stay was an easy process as always however this time I had a not so pleasant experience and it seems like management could care less. We arrived on Thursday unfortunately that same night as we were walking back I sprained my ankle on one of the large potholes outside where drop off is. My husband asked if they had a wheelchair and anything and they said no. We headed to the hospital and the next morning I had to pass through the front desk. The you g lady noticed I was in crutches and asked what had happened. I explained to her I sprained my ankle in the HUGE pothole that was right outside. She proceeded to make a sad face and did not offer any accommodations or apologies. I went ahead and went on with my dad took the bus down to the village and about 3 hours later I headed back to the hotel only to find out the pothole was patched up. I understand they are probably trying to cover themselves from a lawsuit. However, the least they could've done is find an accommodation since we all the way on the other side of the elevators... and at least give an apology. But no. None of that and nobody seems to get back to me within management.

Update: Sergio at the front desk (supervisor) was apologetic and brought us coffee that morning. We appreciate his sincere apology. I think there might be a miscommunication between the homeowners & the resort. Our stay went well until we were woken up at 8:15am when we heard someone outside our window, I looked outside to find a man right outside my window IN OUR BALCONY. Apparently, this maintenance worker took it upon himself to hop into our balcony and connect his extension cord. As I'm writing this review another tenant came out to complain. He's upset they're making a ton of noise outside our balcony at 8am on Friday 7/10. In the future, the staff should be providing a notice of work. It appears they're going to be jackhammering the walkway all There's no air conditioning so you have to open your windows (which is fine), BUT we have not been able to leave our window open & air out the room because of the easy access into our balcony.

Stayed here for a weekend on our first Mammoth trip. We stayed at a two bedroom suite, which was pretty spacious. It came with a full kitchen (with pans and all) and two bathrooms. One bedroom had a king bed and the other bedroom had two single beds. The living area had a pull out bed, which was nice. What I liked about this resort the most is its proximity to the Eagle Lodge and the lift. It's literally a walking distance and they offer a free locker for guests staying in the resort. Parking was a little complicated, but not bad. We were able to park in the hotel for one of our cars and the other was in the overflow. The overflow is where everyone visiting the resort can park. It cost about $30 per car, but we were able to park for free because we stayed in the resort. Staff were very welcoming and house keeping comes pretty early in the morning. Overall a prime place to stay. The only downside was the jacuzzi and pool were outside. It was pretty cold, although the jacuzzi was very warm and relaxing. They had 3 jacuzzi, but it was all full when we got there. Would like to stay again, hopefully with the mountain side view next time.
