Had a great stay at Junipine Resort! The room was spacious and came with a full kitchen, which was super convenient. The front desk also served as a small convenience store—perfect for grabbing anything you forgot on the way in. The location had a peaceful forest vibe, making it a great escape from the Valley. Staff were friendly and made everything easy. Would definitely stay again!

It’s my wife’s and my favorite place that we’ve ever stayed at. There’s just something about being in the middle of Oak Creek Canyon that nourishes the mind & soul. We’ve stayed here at least 10 times and every single cabin we’ve been in is special in its own unique way. It is our dream to one day own one of the cabins. Look no further, this is the best stay inside of Oak Creek Canyon.

It was a nice place to stay. The location is great. I definitely wouldn’t call it a resort as they don’t offer any amenities. The staff was nice and the room was decent, not great. The bed was old, not very comfortable and the linens were old and scratchy. It’s a nice decent place to stay if you are ok with 3-⭐️ but it’s a very dated property. The restaurant was decent and convenient. No breakfast offered. Check out Indian Gardens for a great breakfast. All in all, I would stay again if the rate was right.

Junipine is a lovely resort in an absolutely gorgeous setting. We stayed two nights in one of the Creekside cabins and the view from the patio was magnificent. We loved watching the sun rise and set over the mountains. The room was a generous size for two people and the kitchen had everything we needed. The decor was tasteful and we had a lot of privacy. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful and the restaurant, The Table, had delicious food (try the trout with brussel sprouts if they're on the menu) and friendly service. I only wish the restaurant had been open every day instead of being closed on Mondays and that they could have offered a breakfast menu. Since the resort is a 15 minute driving distance to downtown Sedona, the Table is really the only dining option near the resort so having better hours and breakfast would have greatly enhanced our stay. If you're looking to enjoy the natural beauty of Oak Creek Canyon in a quiet setting with friendly service, decent amenities, and good food (when available), Junipine Resort is a wonderful option. We will definitely be back!

My husband booked this cabin for our 20th anniversary! I was so excited to get away from the Phoenix heat! We showed up late in the evening, and check-in was super easy! We get settled in the room, and we find black mold on the shower curtain and the ceiling. Thankfully, my husband was kind enough to clean it, so I wasn't freaked out all weekend. As nice as the room was, the shower was very basic, with a very basic shower head. It looked like the cabin had some nice upgrades, so the shower was disappointing. The views were amazing, and the staff was incredible. It is a bit overpriced, though, if I'm being honest! I know places in Sedona are a lot higher for a weekend, but $416 a night is a bit crazy!

Came here for a weekend with friends, it was beautiful. The gal in the lobby was friendly and kind. They carry basically everything you may have forgotten or just need, from wine to breakfast food, to cute bracelets and local items. The rooms are huge and nicely decorated. The view from the deck was wonderful. Hearing the creek at night was so relaxing. Definitely will return.

We like this place! We stayed in a 2 bd, 1 bath condo for 6 nights. The property is on beautiful Oak Creek, close to Sedona. We chose a standard unit with a forest view. It has a large deck. It is very quiet. The unit is spacious and is a short walk to the creek where you can fish and walk on a long nature trail. When we asked for extra coffee for the Keurig, the staff gave us more than we requested. The same with towels. Our unit is somewhat dated, especially the bathroom. But it is pretty clean. We have our pick from 2 fireplaces. Our main disappointment was that the dishwasher in our unit overflowed. When we reported it to management, we were told it was a known problem. But, no one thought to forewarn us! They offered (and we accepted) a credit to be used at the onsite restaurant. That helped us feel better.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding our recent stay, which involved significant disruptions and safety issues.||Originally, we had a confirmed reservation for a Unit with double beds and a hot tub, but due to last-minute maintenance, we were rebooked into Unit #3 for the first night king bed only and then moved to Unit #43 for the remaining two nights. We accepted this compromise under the condition that it included a hot tub and had to negotiate check-in and check-out times to accommodate pre-planned activities.||Unfortunately, Unit #43 fell short of acceptable standards:||The unit was poorly stocked.||Two exterior door locks were broken, creating a serious safety concern.||The hot tub, a key amenity influencing our choice, was non-functional for the second night.||Although we reported these issues immediately, and the front desk made efforts to help, the problems were not resolved during our stay. We were offered $100 in compensation, which we feel does not adequately reflect the inconvenience, safety risks, and diminished quality of our experience.||Furthermore, the lack of proper maintenance in Unit #43—particularly the broken locks—presents a clear liability and undermines guest security. This needs to be addressed urgently to prevent future incidents.||We respectfully request:||A more appropriate level of compensation for the disrupted stay and safety concerns.|Confirmation that the necessary repairs, especially to the door locks, have been completed.|On a positive note, the restaurant (food and service) was more than very good. Our server was great!

Yelp
Came here for a 3 day getaway with my adult kid. We booked a 2 double bed, creek view, with a hot tub. We arrived fairly early on our check in day, knowing we may not be able to check in , which was fine. I thought this was a hotel/ lodge, but it's a bunch of privately owned rustic condos that are mostly managed by a " front desk". When we arrived we were told our room wasn't quite ready so we headed over to the onsite restaurant " The Table" , for lunch. The staff at the restaurant was super friendly- (Kyla, I think that was our server's name, and Rebecca, the bartender, waited on us every time we showed up to eat. They were both amazing to us during our stay, as well as the Chef ,Chris, who took time to come and chat with us). We ate at this restaurant several times during our stay, and every meal was delicious! While we were eating I received a text that our room was ready. We went back to the front desk, and the girls working were extra helpful and very nice. They answered all of my questions about things to do nearby. Prior to booking, I gauged from the photos online that the units are older, and rustic, so my expectation was exactly that. Our unit was clean and fully stocked with kitchen items, as well as a fridge, stove and dishwasher. The property is exactly what we were looking for! Foresty, green, and with a creek. We used our hot tub each night and did some star gazing. On the first night we noticed our upstairs a/c wasn't keeping cool enough, so I notified the front desk. They gave me a box fan and told me maintenance would look at it in the morning. The next morning, we went for a hike and when we returned, the a/c had already been repaired! The staff was extremely attentive, and we had a great time! I will definitely be back!!! This property is older, the grounds are well maintained, some of the units could use updating ( our carpet was old and had stains) but you can't beat the location, views, staff and restaurant, if you are looking for a getaway in the foresty woods near Sedona!!!

Yelp
Love the concept of what they say they are in their description, but overpriced and it's just not working for them or their target market. Pretentious setting and an experience of which you can tell they are trying to justify what they are, but you can feel it not working the whole time you are there. A place that needs to completely stop, completely recalibrate, then completely reopen. Or, sell and let the new owners do it.

Yelp
Beautiful location and great expectations when booking a day trip/staycation. The drive in the canyon was gorgeous and when we arrived the location of the resort was so picturesque, we were so excited to get out of Phoenix and enjoy our night in away. Upon arrival we were told that due to how we booked the room we would have to wait until a different employee arrived because the girl on shift didn't know how to confirm the registration, even though she acknowledged it on her end and was providing multiple confirmations. After the 30 minute wait we were told our creek view room was not available because the aforementioned employee had neglected to "turn it over" so we were moved to another room. The room was gorgeous and provided everything expected for the night, or so we thought. Because the room was booked with the expectation of a full working kitchen we packed a nice romantic dinner to share by the fire only to find that the oven was not working. The front desk was called several times from 7p to 730 with no answer and a voicemail was even left which went unreturned. Rather than allow that ruin the evening we improvised our meal and decided to move onto a relaxing hot shower. Five minutes may have been plenty of hot water for some but, not for what we were looking forward to yet, that was all that was available. I boiled a pot of hot water on the stove and gave myself a quick cowboy shower before turning in for the night. Any idea of romance was out the window at this point, especially since my wife remembered we had planned on making cinnamon rolls for breakfast. The last thing she mentioned before rolling over and going to sleep was I can't believe we paid almost $300 to basically go camping, at least the heater works. Like I said, it's a beautiful room and the views are gorgeous. It would've been magical had everything worked as expected I'm sure.

Yelp
Love the location and views, but the rooms need updating. I wish you knew what you were paying for before you get there. I've stayed 3 times in 3 different rooms and liked one which was

Yelp
The location and views are amazing. Full disclosure I messed up on the date of my reservation and the young woman at the front desk was rude and made us feel. Even though they were not full she claimed not to know and had to "check." The rooms were tired with worn carpeting, insufficient lighting, ancient coffee makers, and a smokey fireplace. The views are amazing and the setting next to Oak Creek is spectacular. Had a great meal at the restaurant. Overall a mixed bag.

Lori L.

Yelp
Beautiful drive up Oak Creek canyon . Lovely ambience and good food! Good place to stop on your drive to and from Flagstaff or Sedona, Az

Julianah A.

Yelp
Our jacuzzi room had the most perfect view and sounds from the creek. Really good price for the amount of amenities provided (full service kitchen, bathroom, living room, patio etc.), but I know the summers tend to be cheaper. There is some dated parts of the house of course but that's to be expected for the woodsy area.

Yelp
While looking for a place to stay near Sedona, I came across Junipine Resort on Expedia and decided to book our stay here for the weekend. The condo/villa we stayed in at this cabin resort was MASSIVE! Two balconies, an entire living room and kitchen (complete with all the necessary cooking supplies, utensils Etc) and a giant bedroom with a extra comfy bed. There was only two of us on this trip, but honestly this condo could've fit a whole family and everyone would've had plenty of room to relax and enjoy their stay. Also the staff was absolutely wonderful. Every interaction with them was so helpful. They brought extra firewood to our room after a quick phone-call and they even delivered our food to us from the restaurant (the restaurant was currently undergoing renovations when we were staying at this resort, but the kitchen was still open and taking orders). They also have a little gift shop/market in their lobby where you can buy souvenirs, wine, snacks etc. which perfect and super convenient. Next time I'm visiting Sedona I'm definitely coming back to this resort!

Yelp
We checked in for 4 nights recently in August 2023 and after the first night we made a list of items that need attention. ( Cobwebs inside and outside, ceiling fan noise, filthy dirty windowsill near the bathroom window, broken front screen door, smelly main carpet in the living room, no deep cleaning had taken place and a patio table the was not level. After reporting this directly to the office Tuesday morning we NEVER had an employee of the resort address the issues. We are not recommending the resort to any family or friends as service was non nonexistent. David

Yelp
Fancy! Romantic! Relaxing! Great place to stay in Sedona. It was so beautiful and comfortable to stay. I felt like a Queen here. Definitely want to come back. Loved the hot tub and it was nice to watch nature outside my window.

Sarah D.

Yelp
The two stars are for the creek I don't know what I was expecting but I could not stay there again. We booked 2 nights and left at 4am after the first night. The bed made so much noise. The place had an odor that no amount of spray or fresh air could mask . There are pictures of someone's family. I thought this was a resort not an air b and b. I'm so very disappointed

Yelp
We were in desperate need of a quick getaway from Tucson and life's stress. We actually booked over the phone at midnight on Friday night (my husband likes to try to negotiate rates....it works) and left Saturday morning. Once we got through the touristy part of Sedona and on the road up Oak Creek, we easily found our destination. I fell for the quaint resort immediately! Check in was easy and the front desk personnel MORE than helpful. They just really were interested in us having a wonderful experience. Our cottage was gorgeous and spacious. We never had a single issue or problem with anything in the place. Really enjoyed the fireplace in both the living room and bedroom but the best was the hot tub on our patio. Completely unobstructed views of the gorgeous rocks/mountains with snow on them. Even had snow on our patio! Purchased some items in the little store in the lobby (breakfast stuff, wine & a few snacks) and the process was so easy! Just add it to my room :) We also called for more firewood and it was delivered within an extremely short amount of time. The restaurant on property is top notch as well.....but that's another review! I will definitely be back!

Edward M.

Yelp
The rooms are nice but a little dated. Fireplaces, balconies, kitchen. I would definitely stay here again. The restaurant is a different story. My wife and I shared the Chala Shrimp Bruschetta and White Pasta with Scallops. Bruschetta bread was teeth breaking hard. Pasta was bland although the scallops on it were good. I tried the caramel apple croissant for dessert. I literally could not cut the croissant with a knife. I eat out very often. I don't think I've sent something back in 25 years. I may not eat it, but I do pay for it and I don't send it back. This dessert was so bad I sent it back and had them take it off the bill. Rooms are 4 stars. Restaurant is 1 star.

Yelp
This resort has changed and has the worst service and doesn't care about the customers anymore!! Don't stay here if you want to stay in Sedona, there are many other places to stay now! I canceled my reservation 6 days before due to a road closure that they notified people of by email and they said they would refund me my $300. They lied and charged me the $300 after the fact and didn't tell me that I was going to be charged anyway. They were extremely rude when I called to see why they charged me without my knowledge and they refuse to give me back my money! I have been coming here for over 20 years, but will no longer be going ever again.

Sheree B.

Yelp
The resort is beautiful with a nearby creek. Large unit for a family size. However, the unit number 14 we were in had flaws. The air condition wasn't blowing cool air so the room was very warm during the day. The bathroom sink wasn't draining. The DVD player on the loft was busted. One of the loft bed had a nasty large stain on the sheets that clearly wasn't changed. We had linen wrapping left on top of the dresser which was someone else's trash. The furnitures were very dusty.

Cheryl K.

Yelp
The Villa was lovely inside. I reserved a creek view. Unfortunately this was an inaccurate website description. I was given Villa number 8. It does face the creek but you can't see it. All you see is the parking lot. I did mention this to the receptionist but she did nothing but say I will tell the GM. I was disappointed because the view for me is everything. Make sure to call ahead and ask these two questions. Is the restaurant open during my stay. Is this an actual creek view?

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here in #49 for a week to celebrate our 50th anniversary. At first glance the cabin was ok and appeared to be clean but after closer inspection saw many flaws and dirt. The kitchen had 3 different coffee makers that were in different stages of disrepair! There were several mismatched pots and pans that were better fit for outdoor camping. The dishwasher was full when we arrived and the oven was a filthy mess. Sliding door off the living room could use some maintenance such as a ripped screen and both doors wouldn't slide open/close. The living room rug was dirty and stained and the furniture looked to be garage sale/Goodwill quality at best. All the window screens were torn/broken and pulled out of the frames. There was no dish towels in the kitchen, only one pot holder, one teaspoon and one tablespoon. Everything in the kitchen drawers looked to be leftover crap from several other places. The bathroom was really nice with double sinks and a nice walk in shower however the exhaust fan did not work. There are many switches all around the cabin that did not work for anything. There were two phones but neither worked! The double sided fireplace had a door on each side that wouldn't stay closed so it was useless! I wouldn't consider this a "resort." Could use an umbrella for the patio and some cushions for the outdated chairs. The bed was really comfortable but the bed side table was so wobbly it looked like it would fall over. Don't book through a 3rd party web site (book directly) because I was told (in a round about way) that certain villas are kept for 3rd party bookings and are not as nice as others! For the money I payed to stay here I expected a really nice place not low income housing! WON'T STAY AGAIN!

Laura S.

Yelp
This is the second time I stay here. I have read the other reviews about the rooms not being clean, etc. It's true in a sense but the whole experience was wonderful. Those details didn't matter to us. Our time there was fantastic as we only needed a place to sleep and eat after all the adventures we had. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. Our kids made core memories there! Sedona is such a beautiful place. I loved being on a mountain in between pine trees and a creek. I recommend!

Nancy C.

Yelp
Junipine Resort is a beautiful place to stay in Sedona , AZ , highly recommended , nice Bar and Restaurant too

Lena C.

Yelp
Beautiful resort with great amenities. The sound of the creek is so relaxing and the cabin is cozy. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Access to kitchen with appliances, and dishes so you don't have to bring your own. The view from the balcony was gorgeous as the trees butt up to the resort so plenty of shade while you sit outside. Only complaint was the amount of spider webs on the patio furniture. Asked for maintenance to swing by to get them off and they did. But some of the webs came back in the morning. I would highly recommend Junipine Resort. First time taking my mom here for her birthday and she loved it.

Alison M.

Yelp
We needed a short vacation and didn't want to go too far, but wanted something a little cooler. Note: The drive from the Valley is easier if you go back on a Monday. Traffic and tourists are heavy in Sedona on the weekends, just expect that. Slide Rock was packed (we just drove by...did not go in). However, our 2 bedroom unit at Junipine was exactly what we needed! An easy drive to town, creek access, nestled in the canyon, and was actually a little chilly in the evening at the end of June. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, it had a full kitchen, and plenty of beds for our family of 5. We are looking forward to another stay!

Paniolos M.

Yelp
OUTSTANDING place the whole family enjoyed our recent stay here ‼ Very close slide rock and not too far from uptown Sedona shops.

Andrea B.

Yelp
Booked this a year in advance and got it for a steal. Cute 1 bedroom with king bed - #43, creek side. Large porch that was so peaceful. The cactus stained glass door was amazing. All kitchen items we needed were there. I cannot wait to come back and stay. Hoping they get a better lounging couch to enjoy the fire.

Sam B.

Yelp
My husband and I spent our 1st wedding anniversary and most of our experience was magical! Check in was a breeze and we loved how they had snacks and drinks in the lobby! The restaurant on-site was great - we ate there a handful of times and every time the food was fantastic! We were blown away by how big the room was when we first walked in! #24 - beautiful view facing west and you can hear the creek from the patio. We walked around the cabin and noticed there was a set of stairs with two locked doors at the top. Thought that was very odd but didn't ask about it. We thought the shower was pretty cool at first but it's a HORRIBLE design! It's not an enclosed shower so water gets everywhere outside of the shower with minimal towels provided to clean up. The bed was our biggest letdown. The mattress was super springy and the pillows were dreadful! We stayed 3 nights and after the first morning, we woke up so stiff and not looking forward to the next nights sleep We loved the overall vibe and environment and would love to go back...but not in that room!

Dana H.

Yelp
setting is a 10! our unit #3 was not worth the money. lack of supplies, sky lights full of spider webs and bugs, dirty sheet on the pull out sheet, deck and patio not swept or cleaned for months.

Avegail V.

Yelp
This is our first night here and so far, everything has been amazing! The only complains that I have about this place is the hot tub doesn't get any hotter than 95 degrees Fahrenheit. My husband and I suffer from bad backs, so we were really looking forward to some relaxation and the upstairs bedrooms ac did not work. Maintenance was able to fix the ac upstairs but unfortunately when we switch the air on, it sounds like I dinosaur lives up there, our 13 year old got startled and yelled at us to "turn it off!" (Hahaha) It startled me too. We put our two girls to sleep up there with two double beds which could have perfect minus the ac but thank God it got cooler at night. We were willing to pay for the amenities so those two experience were disappointing. Staff has been friendly and pleasant, we were greeted with a breakfast basket. We chose to stay in the two bedroom villa with a hot tub facing the creek. It looks and sounds like tranquility, my family and I wanted to get away from the stress of Vegas and especially because we've been home for the longest. We enjoyed the fireplace, our villa came with one in the living room and one in the Master bedroom. Before coming here, I read they had a full Kitchen which included everything we needed, so we brought food to make and eat. My husband lit a fire place for the first time and we made s'mores. And last but not the least, our beautiful villa came with two balconies. My family and I went to the upper balcony where the second room is located and enjoyed gazing at the stars last night! It was impeccable, it brought back child hood memories living in Hawaii, it felt like we were on a planetarium! Both of our girls, especially our 5 year old enjoyed every minute of it, she also seen her very first shooting star! Living in the city for 20+ something years, we don't get this majestic view. I love that this Resort is deep in the woods with both forest and creek views and the fact that it only has 86 villas. I also really wanted to try their restaurant but because of the closure, we weren't able to try it, not even to go or room service but it's understandable. We drove around at the end of the day and found a small inviting town where people were eating! We can't wait to explore.

Jenny F.

Yelp
I have stayed at this location many times and always had positive experiences with the place. My last stay will be the last. There were many little things wrong with the place, the blinds wouldn't close and parts were missing, torn carpet, parts of the sink broken when we arrived, small things like that. We didn't notice this right away but the second day went to the front desk and informed the girl of what was wrong so they wouldn't think it was us who broke the blinds and the sink. Lesson learned for sure. Make sure you have someone go in with you for an inspection or take a video when you arrive. Got an email after we got home with a $300 charge saying we did the damages. Stayed there many times over 10 years spending thousands of dollars over the years. Never had a problem in all that time. Not that this was taken into consideration. I liked staying at the Junipines but never again. At least call me or check with your staff to see we reported the damage you accused us of doing before just sending an email and charging us. Maybe it was the maid afraid to get into trouble or the people before us who did the damage and no one noticed? The place is definitely starting to show its age with the wear and tear and it is not cheap to stay there. The point of this post is CYA when you check in or be prepared to pay an expensive price.

P G.

Yelp
Quaint place in Oak Creek Canyon. Great outdoor tables. The waiter was wonderful. He explained the food in great detail and has a passion for his work. These a small bites of unique local combinations that tingle your taste buds. The SUMMER TOMATOES with Oak Creek watercress, lemon infused farmers cheese strawberry and AZ Sake vinaigrette was amazing. My husband loved the smoked trout club. But is more than the food it's the atmosphere. I think lunch is better as driving back to Sedona on that windy road in the dark is not for the faint of hear.

Hilary L.

Yelp
My husband is in love with this place. We stayed for 4 days. I mean the views!!! The forest!!! The red rocks!!! The creek!!! We had our own "house" which comes with a fully stocked kitchen in terms of plates, utensils, pots, pans, etc. Had a living room with a sleeper sofa and a main bedroom with a dressing room and bathroom, and a real wood burning fireplace stocked with firewood. The facilities are dated for sure, and the bed/sleeper couch was not comfortable in any way. Springy, squeaky and lumpy. That's the only reason for the 4 stars. Everything else was awesome. Will be back for sure, but request a house with better sleeping accommodations. My aching back! Also, hit up the Whole Foods on the way into town to stock the fridge with your essentials and cook meals in the house. Eat on the deck, listen to the roar of the creek and soak it all in.

Yelp
Bitter sweet experience at junipine resort My wife and i stayed at junipine resort for the second time The resort is beautiful and rustic as you might expect by being in sedona they have a mile long trail that is actually really beautiful We ate at the resorts restaurant it was a really good experience my wife got the chicken and i got the steak it was delicious But!!! The room was extremely dirty!!! It was room 36 I know we are in Sedona and yes there will be dust and insects thats to be expected but when you walk into a room that seems like it has been used but never cleaned thats what my wife and i walked into the mirrors were smeared the coffee table had finger prints There was two dirty towels inside the closet The room tv screen was also extremely dirty The fan was dirty the curtain rod was filthy the blinds were mess I called the lobby to try to get someone to to come clean the room or to be moved to another room the receptionist told me that house keeping had gone home but would have a housekeeper go the next day and that they had no other room to give us Next day came BUT NO ONE SHOWED UP!! We stayed for two nights, the trails are amazing but the resort experience was not so great it was a pricey stay to stay in a dirty room I did mention this to the receptionist again and she did apologize but nothing else Take a look at the pictures

Beth A.

Yelp
Unfortunately we did not have a good meal. Junipine is a place we have met for years for Mother's Day. After not going for 2 years we were anxious to return. I admit I did not research possible changes. Our family does not mind paying for an upscale experience. But for $55 per adult and $35 per child $369.00 before tip was a lot for the quality of the meal. The Quiche was good, and the Biscuits and Gravy was good but the Eggs Benedict you couldn't cut the English muffin and the meat was fatty and gristly. The only meat was sausages in the gravy and the small square on the Benedict. I appreciate the New Chef's outlook on using Arizona products is great, and the vegetable platters are not really what I want to spoil myself with on Mother's Day, Same with the breads and jams, the breads and the jams were good but far from delightful and delicious. Maybe a ribeye & bacon would have been with it, oh I did forget the cold jumbo shrimp that was ok, We have decided not to return, Oh the service was great Lee was the best part of the experience. Our family parted ways, some going back North unfortunately with stomach aches and some going South kinda bummed out that our little tradition will change.

Yelp
This place exceeded my expectations! A hidden gem in the woods! The unit was clean and included everything we needed. The area around this resort has the most beautiful, scenic views I've ever seen! It's only a 15 -20 minute to Sedona town and it's right down the road from Slide Rock Park. (Unfortunately we were unable to get in, the summer crowd is insane!) We will definitely be back in the winter to hangout by the fireplace!

Bernie W.

Yelp
Since each lodging has a private owner, these comments are for #32 which is a 2 bedroom unit (one is a loft). Overall decor was nice, I think the unit has been remodeled in the last 10 years so new tile and tasteful decor. The hot tub worked fine (some commenters of other units mentioned only getting up to 95 which was not the case, although the cover was a little dilapidated and the assist to remove cover was no longer attached. Downside of this unit is that it is right next to the parking area and unfortunately the landscapers were blowing leaves and debris around for 3 hours starting around 8 AM the day we were leaving, not surprising the car was caked with dust and the allergies really kicked up. Note as well, while they have some outdoor grills available due to dry conditions in the forest, they were all off limits.

Yelp
Absolutely a destination worth seeing. Each villa is decorated differently the views from most of your balconies are beautiful!!! I had a view of the mountains just gorgeous. Although I had a spider incident that the manager took care of right away and changed my room, so bring bug or spider spray you are in the forest. But my new room had birds and a big beautiful crow that would stop by which the kids loved and would watch as they ate there lunches. As a working mom of 3 coming to this resort was what I needed, they had wine for sale in the lobby, so I had purchased one just so I can sit on my balcony and enjoy the scenery. The staff is very attentive and kind, just know the night staff is short handed after 9pm, so everything you need call before then. I will be returning often can't wait to come up during the winter to see this place in the snow:)

Yelp
The resort is beautiful and they offered games and dvds for a pleasant experience. We only stayed one night though and I wished we stayed longer. The price for one night is steep but you definitely get what you pay for - it looks like a small condo (2 br, 2 bath, clean, cute decor, kitchen, and a patio). We enjoyed our stay and if I were to come back to the area, I wouldn't hesitant staying here again.

Yelp
Stayed at the Junipine Resort this week and had an excellent time. The condo we were provided was clean and cozy with nice decor and a wood burning fireplace. We did get a meal from the on site restaurant the first night we were there and it was tasty. The restaurant was not open for dine in but that was no big deal. We opted for the breakfast basket and it worked out fine for 2 people for 2 breakfasts. The condo had a full kitchen and we ended up getting a few groceries in town for our second nights dinner. It was nice to see the snow covered hills the next morning, I was a little worried about leaving while it was snowing but the roads were kept clear and not a big deal to start our drive back to California. The staff was courteous and helpful, we had an issue with our key getting stuck in the door but that was quickly resolved. A very nice place. We will be back.

Yelp
First time staying at Junipine Resorts and WOW!!! Stayed in #39 amazing unit.. Super clean, views were amazing, beautiful property, very peaceful. Having the hot tub off the master suite is awesome. The hot tub never got above 95 but that's ok we still LOVED everything about Junipine. Check in was so easy and Kudos to the whole staff, everyone was super friendly and very helpful. Thank you for a great stay.

Yelp
This review is for unit 44 and our last trip up only......I used to stay here as a kid so I have very fond memories of this place. We stayed for 3 nights, Thu-Sat, and had some good and not so great things happen. Restaurant food was pretty good, service was pretty good although the waitress touched her face and mask constantly, but I understand it is awkward. We only went once and sat on the patio. Nice to walk down to the creek and hiking trail on premise. Brought our fishing poles but don't count on catching fish in the summer, it is busy down there. Grounds are nice and the ambience of the facility, especially during twilight hours is great. But..... Check in was 3, room wasn't ready til 3:30, not a big deal. We re-cleaned the place after check in to be cautious, it felt like it needed it anyway. We were left a dishwasher full of dishes to put away, again not a big deal but not too awesome. Main living area is nice and open, very hot in all the rooms during the day. There is a ceiling fan and portable fans, but pretty stuffy nonetheless. Kept the windows and doors open at night to help. We had a spa on the deck which was kind of green tinted, smelly, and cloudy. Someone came up and put chemicals in it, but it didn't take away all of the off putting characteristics. So that was a waste. One of the nights our next door neighbors partied and smoked all night so unfortunately their was cigarette smoke in our place with our kids. The kicker for me was how dirty the master bedroom carpet was. It was filthy, like don't walk on it with bare feet gross, maybe forgot to be cleaned. Hallway and stairway weren't great as well, upstairs rooms were locked so no telling in there. If we came back and were put in this unit I probably wouldn't stay again if it was in the same condition.

Yelp
We absolutely loved our stay here. Huge villas with amazing views and jn-room fireplaces. The on-site restaurant was really good too but they do close early (8am). The lobby is open 24hrs which is very convenient and stocked with free dvd rentals, snacks, wine. There is direct access to oak creek which was really beautiful, but other than than the creek, there isn't much to the resort. Don't come expecting extra ammenities but it's incredibly romantic.

Yelp
Do you know what I don't like about Junipine? It's that I like to stay in different places to experience different hotels and locations but now that I found Junipine I won't want to stay anywhere else when I go to Sedona. It only another 10-15 minutes from downtown and you feel like you are in your own little world. There is ample parking and the service was good. The room was really a house/cottage thing that is bigger than my house! We had a cool loft as well as two balconies and a fireplace. We only stayed for two nights but this would be a great place to stay for a week or so. There is a nice little river on the backside of the property. The only negative I had was that their restaurant was not open the entire time we were there.

Yelp
Beautiful place to stay while in Sedona. Cabins have *almost* everything you need; kitchen stocked with dishes/utensils, extra blankets/towels, ironing boards, hair dryers and tower fans. The ONLY issue I had was that the cabins do not have central air, which is why there were 36" tower fans in each room. Eleven months out of the year, this isn't an issue. However, in June, those fans were no where near adequate. There is a skylight in the upstairs loft (great for night) that soaks in daylight and radiates heat throughout the cabin. We placed the tower fans upstairs in order to cool it down before bedtime. That being said, sleeping downstairs wasn't as comfortable (temp wise) as I'm used to. Even with a tower fan, it was too warm to sleep with covers. I'm a hot sleeper, I like it cold. Cabins have a fairly large balcony porch, complete with lounging chairs and patio set. Take advantage of the hiking trails, one runs along side a private orchard that makes for great scenery.

Yelp
Extremely happy with this establishment. First time visitor that didn't arrive until 6pm at night. Ohhh my goodness! !!!! Pitch Black driving down windy mountain. ...spotty WiFi. ...and then the clouds open to a few businesses. ...until Yayyyyy, We made it! Warm inviting, lobby with cute memorabilia and useful things like wine, bacon, eggs, dvds for use. ...friendly welcoming registration. Cottage 10...WONDERFUL house....spacious with 2bds/2bth ....beautiful creekside view, useable deck....beautiful vacation home. Then a quick drive up to the onsite restaurant. Not fancy, BUT exceptional food!!!! and exceptional service (Thank you, Sky). We had delightful "hot cider with a touch of kick", Salmon dinner (Amazing. ...Delicious. ..Please come cook for me) , the Burger (again, mouth watering, moist, cooked to perfection ) and shared a chopped salad. ..healthy, delicious and full of hidden dried fruit flavors. Wonderful dinner, Wonderful service. ..... This place is a hidden gem. A bit pricey, but I will be back. Thanks to the view and wonderful staff. Sharine D

Yelp
I want to be honest with people so that I can be helpful! Cons: * Not worth your hard earned money. * hot tub didn't work * service not great * dirty cabins * dated furniture and utilities * heat doesn't work well * internet goes out * firewood wasn't enough and then they charge you for it. *Not close to a creek Pros * It was a pretty view * nice location

Yelp
The location of this resort is FANTASTIC. But what's even better than the location? The staff! Hands down the best concierge staff out there. From check in to after we returned home, the staff was phenomenal. The gentleman that checked us in on Thursday was kind and efficient. The young woman that night was super helpful. She helped us secure fire wood for the two in room fire places and tinder, matches, and sticks to make s'mores with. The gentleman at checkout the next morning was very informative about the resort rooms. I didn't get to meet Daisha, but I spoke to her on the phone when we realized my son had left his legal documents in the room we had used. Thanks to Daishas diligence, the resort was able to not only locate our items, but also mail them home to us. A special thanks as well to the manager who travelled to Flagstaff to drop them off at UPS. We got them inside of a week safe and sound. I booked a single night just before Labor Day to try slide rock (one mile down the road) and get a break from the heat. My husband and I were sorry we didn't book two. It was a a beautiful evening on the large patio of room 11. Room 11 is a little dated and could use a good dusting. Thanks to the check-out clerks, we learned that the suites are privately owned (not time-share) and the furnishings are placed there by the owners. Each suite has a totally different style due to this, and it's fun to see the taste of the owner in the furniture. Ours reminded me of the cabin in the movie "Great Outdoors." We'll definitely stay again.

Yelp
Love coming here every year for our annual family trip. The staff is always so kind and welcoming. Every cabin we've stayed in weather it be creek or forest view is always uniquely designed and comfortable in its own way. See you next year!

Yelp
This resort is amazing. The rooms were extremely spacious and comfortable. The resort itself is quiet and pretty plus the short walk to the creek is great. And the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is the beds. The other reviews were right, they were terrible. I hope Junipine can get new ones soon so we can come back again - we would love to make this an annual trip but would be hesitant to make an extended stay because of the beds.

Yelp
Beautiful resort, great for a romantic getaway, full apartment style condo, full kitchen , separate bedroom, bed was very comfy and there's a fireplace in the living room that we were able to use in April. A large deck which had a view of the forest and the mountain; it was beautiful at night when we stepped out and saw so many stars in the darkness. Kelsey at the front desk was super sweet and helpful, can't say enough. It's secluded and not far from town but the road there is a winding mountain road, a little scary for me driving at night. There's a hiking trail right behind the resort and another down the road

Yelp
We went to celebrate our Anniversary and Mothers Day!! all I have to say is WE WILL BE BACK!! the grounds are beautiful. You are just tucked away into the forest, and you get fully recharged mind, body, and spirit. I almost don't want to review it only because I feel like I would be giving away a much guarded secret. However this place is breathtaking and once you go you will know why.

Yelp
Overpriced, unprofessional staff. Reservations canceled without us being notified. They said they would give us a comparable room then when we actually pulled up they said that the second room they gave us wasn't available either. So we took the third option and it was mediocre at best. What a waste of time and money. Save yours by going somewhere else. And be sure to regularly read these 1 star reviews because they tell you how it is.
