Jupiter Bar

By far one of my favorite bars in Seattle. They have amazing slushee drinks, delicious pizza, karaoke on certain nights, loads of games, and amazing service. I have been here a couple times and it’s always a great time. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun night or a relaxed environment.

Love this place! Always great service. Never no attitude or the feeling like you’re unwelcome. Decent priced drinks.about $8-$10per drink & frozen margaritas!-$10👌🏼 Food is a little over prices but convenient if you’re hungry. Booths by the bar have domino sets. back room is an arcade filled with new & older games. Pac man, pin ball, mario cart, a few shooting games & a few more. Front Patio. No smoking in the patio but it’s never been a problem if you do. Recommend the frozen drinks. They let you mix them if you want. Atmosphere is grunge mixed with class. Lots of art & entertaining pics on the walls. 21 & up. No cover charge. Never denied me to charge my phone.🫧

Absolutely visit this spot if you come to Seattle. It’s a crazy living art show and there’s a lot of really fun events such as karaoke, DJs, pinball tournaments, live music and art openings. It’s also a 21+ arcade. It’s one of the very few places in Seattle that is home to the art and nightlife community.

Pretty fire pizzas, cool arcade vibes, but there were some absolute creatures running pinball. This is probably the most Seattle place I could visit from the east coast, beanies galore. Heavy pours on the drinks are wonderful with great service. But I want to emphasize the creatures that dwell here can be scary, but don’t worry it’s all about the vibe. Overall cool place I f widdit

Jupiter Bar was so much fun! We were from out of town and wanted somewhere fun to hangout, good atmosphere, games, and drinks. They had lots of options for games- TONS of pinball machines, Mario Kart driving, and other variety of arcade games. It was kinda packed when we went, but overall were able to play games as we pleased. The place has limited places to sit, but in the same area there was a side space with tables and chairs with someone playing music which was cool. We only got one mixed drink, no food, and seemed appropriately priced.The machines take quarters and kinda pricey…There was only one place (that I could find) to get quarters and an ATM. Overall, fun experience and would recommend. I would definitely go back for some drinks and games!

Such a fun bar in belltown! On entry you'll find one of two bars that is great to just a drink at. Behind that bar is an arcade! With multiple pinball, racing, and quirky games! Great place for a date if you are looking for something fun and inexpensive.

This was my 2nd time in. I love this place! I caught the end of happy hour, enjoyed a Narrows Brewery Porter (Half shackle?), and soaked in the ambiance and good vibes. The food looks good, too 😅 haven't tried it yet though lol, next time

Honestly the best bar I've been to. They have street fighter, teenage mutant ninja turtles and a Photo Booth. Everything I need and want :) Next time we will have to try the pizza! We went on Halloween night 2024 and vibes were awesome. It's a bar so of course there will be a few drunk idiots and bartenders with attitude. We had a fun time here and the bartenders know how to make a drink they def do nottt skimp on the alcohol lol ;) I would definitely recommend and return!!!

I didn't go here expecting to write a Yelp review about it, but I haven't been out much recently, so I can only share a few details that popped from that night. I went bar hopping for the first time in years, and this is the only bar I really remember. When we entered, there was a room with karaoke on the left, and a bar to the right. The drinks and service were alright, but not special. But you know what was special? The arcade games. Behind the bar seating area, you walk down a little hall and BOOM- a huge room filled with the familiar sounds from childhood of triumph, or failure, as bright screens announced whether you won or lost this round, so, "do you want to insert coins to play again?" I'm not a big gamer but with so much available, and the contagious excitement, I had to join in. The vibe was lively, there was cool art on the walls- I just had a really good time. This is a fun place to go with a group on a Friday night.

Jupiter Bar is a great option for large groups who are a little eclectic. There are SO MANY pinball machines, and the room was packed and a little humid because of so many people in there. There was interesting art on the wall, which was my favorite aspect of this place. I had one basic well drink which was fine, nothing special. Considered getting pizza but they said the wait was 40 minutes on a Friday, which we were not trying to wait that long. If arcade bars are your vibe, I can see how people love it. Otherwise, it's a dive bar with mediocre drinks.

Such a fun nostalgic arcade full of 1990s games. Super fun to go back to my childhood and play ninja turtles, pin ball and other fun games. On the negative, there was a bar but it wasn't open when we were there and there was an unpleasant smell, which reminded me of a frat house. But maybe that is part of the nostalgia for some!

This is one of my favorite places in Belltown. The Doorman (J), is awesome and very personable. Hang out here if you want nice bartenders and eclectic music.

Jupiter bar is nostalgic AF. Friends took me here before and I was excited we ran into it while in Belltown during our visit. We had such a great time that we came back twice! The beers are cheap! Games are cheap! The bartender was cool. I've had nothing but the best times for $5 every time I've come to Jupiter.

HOLY WOW get the breakfast for dinner pizza. i was skeptical but now i am a firm believer. its like a big yummy bagel. with extra char and crisp and cream cheese. get the ranch too even though it sounds weird.... it's very sour creamy.... yummerton.... pair all of this with an awesome and heavily poured old fashioned (i upgraded from their well to Four Roses for a grand total of 14 bucks) and then play 25 rounds of Black Emperor for a dollar. i love u Jupiter

I came around 10pm on Saturday and it wasn't crowded until after 11. We ordered the raspberry slushie, pinball punch, and a few vodka shots. The slushie and punch were strong! Raspberry slushie: well-blended, doesn't melt fast, good raspberry flavor and alcohol mix Pinball punch: the cherry vodka was very strong, maybe even overpowering. You could compare it to cherry syrupy medicine. I could barely taste the pineapple juice in it. There's many games and a Photo Booth that prints 2 strips for $5, which is a better price than other bars around here that charge $7-10 for 2. The Photo Booth also lets you customizes the background and theme (black & white, valentines, aquarium, etc).

Great bar although I'm thoroughly disappointed that I can't come drink and work during the day here anymore. This used to be my favorite neurodivergent spot to body double while getting the sensory input of loud music. I spent ours here eating tacos and drinking while working on my laptop during slow hours. Not anymore unfortunately. They no longer give out the password. I still recommend for a cool vibe and good food. But I'm so sad about the wifi. I guess we're on to black cat instead.

This bar has such a fun atmosphere with arcade games and fortune telling machines! Bring cash so you can easily get tokens from their machine. The drinks are very cheap and strong. There's also a vending machine for tarot cards and cigarettes. There's some seating throughout and two bars: one in the arcade room and one in the front separate from the arcade.

We were on the prowl for a good drink during happy hour and decided to stop by this spot because it was nearby and had the arcade. It was pretty empty, ID check inside the door, bar in the front and machines in the back. Not the best happy hour discount offerings, just a dollar or two off basic drinks, but on par with what other places in Seattle seemed to offer (doesn't seem to be too happy of a place for happy hours). It's not the largest variety of arcade game machines but they've got the classics like Mario Kart, a few shooting games, lots of pinball machines, but no air hockey. At least one of the change machines was out of order but at least one was working properly. There's a vending machine near the restrooms offering everything to satisfy your vices. When we passed by again a few times later on during our trip, there always seemed to be a crowd outside at night.

Didn't try the food but it looked pretty good from what I saw on other tables. The drinks were good too. Not great but better than I expected with price, portion, and taste compared to similar bars in the area. The bartender was speedy and kind despite having a super long line. The ambiance depends on which area you're in. The front bar and food area is more a dive bar with loud music and neon lights vibe but then in back where the pinball machines and arcade is, it's more of a lively but more chill vibe. There was a 50th birthday party going and lots of people drinking, eating, and playing games. We'd definitely go back. One of the machines ate my quarter so I was a bit salty on that but overall pretty solid that it was one of several machines we tried.

Excellent Belltown bar. Plenty of space, good bartender ratio, and clean-ish bathrooms. But the taco bar! Awesome! Not even by drunk food standards, her tacos are crispy and excellent. Careful there are toothpicks that hold them all together. There are 15 signs that tell you so. Excellent to down with cold beer.

Absolutely wonderful Spot to come and spend an hour or two in the evening. Fun vibes with lots of dark arcade mood lighting. Fun murals on the walls and crazy graffiti in the bathroom. I did not try the food but I had the pinball drink and it was pretty damn delicious! Service was decent. Last but not least they had a bubble bobble arcade machine ! Next time I come to Seattle I'm definitely coming back here.

Great selection of games however it's very dark inside. Go on a Monday it's very chilly then.

ONE OF THE BEST BARS I EVER BEEN TOO ! I was super excited to stop by & grab a drink , they have a drink menu that rotates often . I grabbed the passionfruit piña colada slushy it was amazing and couldn't feel the alcohol. Super fun and vibrant bar ! Bartenders were really nice

Great bar for a casual night out! I've been here a few times while bar hopping in belltown, and I've always had a good time. It's the perfect place to end the night, with cheaper drinks, lots of games, and not so loud that you can't hear each other. Is it a bit grimy? Sure, but it's a dive bar. Bartenders are pretty friendly as well. I really appreciated the one who helped me figure out where to get coins! I especially love the arcade section as there are so many options to choose from. It's easy to find all the classics, but also a few I hadn't seen before. After a long night out, nothing beats feeling like a kid again. Overall, I highly recommend giving Jupiter a try!

I partook in some food and then proceeded to the arcade. I skipped the drinks this time (let's not get into the reasons). For food: I ordered two Hushwe tacos (Lebanese brown butter beef). For a side, "All the things" (chips with guac, salsa, and queso). Tell me, how could I say no to that?! The tacos were a bit unexpected (in a good way). These appeared to be soft shell tacos, stuffed full of protein, then deep fried. The tacos were so fresh they were too hot to handle. They stuffed them to the brim with juicy, flavorful protein too! Oh, and "don't eat the f****** toothpicks" their phrase, not mine. All the Things was a pretty great side. The chips were hot, fresh, and seemed homemade. The pico was as expected (fresh diced veggies, hard to mess up). They executed the guacamole and queso very well. The queso had great savoriness without overdoing it on the salt. The guacamole, meanwhile, was the perfect level of chunkiness with a great level of acid (lime). There's a lot more to this place than a few tacos and a bar, though. There is a full-on, incredible and awesome arcade in the back. This arcade has both modern and retro machines. Most notable is their impressive and large collection of pinball games! These start at modern ones, and go down to those that seem like they are from the 60's! So, if your thing is the simpler, slower classics you'll find it here. If its lights, rails, animatronic, and balls moving at mach 3, you'll find something too. What makes this even more awesome is that most of the pinball games, even the modern ones, are 75¢! Some retro ones are 50¢, and are even 5-ball games! Another sign of good thinking: the ATM can give cash in $5 denominations! Furthermore, the machines run on quarters, not tokens! So, if you get bored you leave with actual money, not tokens worth nothing elsewhere. Be mindful of those ATM fees if your debit card doesn't reimburse them! They're not high on their own, but can add up from several transactions. Finally, two critiques: First, I would have liked it to be easier to find a staff member. While the games are well maintained, when I had a machine eat my money once, I had to search for someone to help. Second, while I get the barcade vibe, with pinball it might help to have some better lighting. Little spot lights might do the trick. Something to better illuminate the field of play so you're not playing in almost darkness. If I was local to Seattle, I see myself becoming more-or-less a regular. Even as a visitor, I will be coming back next time I am in Seattle.

Bar kicked us out just for ordering extra drinks at 10:30 ....... Bad service and very bad attitude .... Seattle Seahawks suck as well lol they were probably mad

I love this classic Belltown bar, and have loved it since I was an undergrad working part time as a server downtown. The house drinks are super fun and there's never a very long line at the bar. The tap list could use some help, but the cocktails are always poured strong. The arcade in the back has all the classics, with my favorite being Mario Cart, which can be played in a group of four. The art around the bar is so cool too! I highly recommend this to both people from out of town and locals who are looking for a little change-up; Jupiter is always an opportunity for a good night. DISCLAIMER: Do not order the food. It's overpriced and not very good. We'll let it slide because I love Jupiter bar but the taquitos are literally 5 frozen taquitos with a scoop of store guacamole for 20$ and the nachos are in the same vein for 14$

Pizza looked delicious. Service was quick for a drink on Wednesday night. They had live jazz music and it was full of arcade games definitely my vibe.

Sometimes after a long day of work, you just need some 1980s arcade games! This place was so much fun. I actually visited two nights in one week. You get to play pinball and Pac-Man with quarters (no plastic cards, like in casino arcades). When you walk in, you can order pizza on the left, and order a drink on the right. My veggie pizza and blueberry cider was tasty. This is not a fancy place, so wear some very casual clothes, and have a great time!

We really liked this place for a first-time visit with a friend from out of town the other day. We noticed this spot for a while before giving it a chance, and we wish we had visited earlier since it's such a cool vibe inside. We loved the purple-blue lights all around, plus the convenience of having access to an atm and coin machine already inside. As for drinks, it was interesting that they served some cocktails in the original glass mixer. Prices were alright, and we had the nachos only, so I can only vouch for those. Either way, I recommend this spot for a fun group hangout or even a fun date night. We'll definitely be back soon, felt like a kid again playing those arcade games :)

Place is intimate and the crowd is always awesome. Prices can be a *little* staggering but so it goes these days. Loved everything about this place.

Sketchy bartenders. Heard bartenders talking about giving free drinks to their friends and making fun of other customers then I get charged $40 for 2 drinks. Check your receipts. Over charging on randoms so they can keep their friends happy. Shitty. Ambiance? The dude pissing right outside the bar killed that part.

I'm into pinball bars and learned about this from a list telling me all the local ones. I don't get to this neighborhood as much as I should and there are many places here I have never made it inside. I would have had no idea that this was a pinball bar had I not see the article, but now I plan to add it into my Seattle rotation. It does look appealing from the outside and many people were hanging out in the front when we arrived before it opened. There's a fortune telling machine that will give you a fortune that even accepts credit cards which seems to work when they are closed if you happen to be walking by. I'll be checking this out on my next visit. The inside is dark and cool on a hot day. There are two bars and the option to get some Mexican food. The vegan cauliflower tacos sounded appealing, but we had just ate. The front area is seating and the back half is the arcade room. There are quite a few pinball machines, some older ones and some newer ones. Most were 75 cents. There are some other arcade games too if pinball is not your thing. I appreciate that there are small tables to set your drink on between the machines, rather than having to use the attached cup holders. This place has a full bar which does set it apart from some of the canned beverage only pinball places. The bartender was helpful and kept up with the many orders. Drink prices were reasonable.

This was the first bar I visited during my trip and had such a fun time here! Cheap drinks, great selection of arcade games, and a relaxed atmosphere. It's in the Belltown neighborhood in close proximity to many other trendy bars. The drinks here were alright - my tequila pineapple was definitely on the stronger side but I appreciated how cheap the drink was so I'm not complaining. There's a coin machine here so no need to worry about bringing change before coming here. Most of the arcade games here are your staples like pinball, PacMan, and Galaga. I had a great time at the pinball machines, they even have a newer themed machine for Stranger Things which was neat! There were a couple of them that ate my quarters without registering as credits though. Side note: if you're looking to play Galaga, choose the PacMan/Galaga machine closest to the bar and pinball machines instead of by the neon sign since the shooter controls at that one are more responsive.

The place is dark, and in the back is a full on arcade, many pin ball machines. I think if the drinks were on point this would definitely pull 5 stars. The area around the corner had many bums kicking it on the street so you probably don't want to have too many drinks there and get robbed on the way out.

Casual Vibes! Good Service! Decent Price! and Amazing drinks! What else do need?? Loved the ambience and the graffiti on the wall/restroom. The water was placed right next to the bar, super convenient. The drinks were strong and was at a decent price. They had a whole another room for arcade games. If you like gin and tonic, I highly recommend to try it

Fam, please start switching up your date nights. We can get kbbq and boba any day of the week, but dang, sometimes a girl just gotta let off some steam. Let me take a homie down in Mortal Kombat real quick. Jupiter is a great place for big groups and smaller parties. I came here two times so far, one with my potential husband, and another with a big group of friends. Easily with twenty bucks you can have a good night. Majority of the pinball machines and games are 50 cents. Like name something in this economy that you can cop for 50 cents? Exactly. Bring in Belltown, so much happening. Lots of places to eat and plenty of happy hours. The drinks at the bar are solid. I do not condone drinking and driving, but Mario Kart had me braking some laws. Their special drinks are ten bucks and so worth. Located in Belltown, Seattle. Street parking. Indoor seating available. Masks not required. Must be 21. ATMs and change machines on sight.

A fun arcade-bar with a great vibe and tons of fun, classic games -- they have affordable drinks and two bar areas so you never have to wait long. They have SO many games, including Mario Kart, pinball machines, Galaga, Pac-Man, Pong, and more -- for $20, you can have a great night. It's fun with a group, and there's tons of games for everyone. Belltown doesn't always feel like the safest area later at night, but it is walking distance from many other bars and restaurants. Overall, a good time and I'd come back (perhaps a bit earlier in the night) with a group of friends!

I came with a group from the hostel I stayed at. The arcade was interesting. Not something you typically see at a bar. The bartender was impatient and not welcoming when I asked for suggestions. Prices are probably pretty standard. Maybe it's just that guy, but I'm not interested in coming back. I noticed after checking my receipt that there was a $0.50 card fee. The bartender did not notify me there would be an additional fee for paying with card.

Had so much fun here the other evening. Came here with my bestie while visiting from out of town. They Have so many games and a lot of interesting pinball machines. The drinks were strong and not very pricey. The food sold was pretty pricey. I agreed to pay $18 for taquitos. I'm from LA and have never paid a hefty price for Hispanic food but the quality of food was worth the price. All of the employees were super nice, especially the front door guy. His kindness was infectious. The bathrooms were clean and artsy with graff quotes everywhere. The art and dope remixed 70's/80s music was a VIBE. Will definitely be visiting this bar again next time I'm in town.

Great bar. Bring cash for the coin machines to use arcade games. The tacos are killer, nachos too. Just a fun vibe with the games and wall art.

We wanted to stop and get some herb before headed home. We wanted to wait inside somewhere and this bar was super close. We walked in and grabbed a little corner booth and grabbed a drink and a little bit of food. I tried to order a drink I saw on Yelp from a menu forever ago but got something else called the getaway. It was alright. I didn't realize it had tequila and I'm not a huge fan. It was cool that it was built in the bottle. I like trying different things. We also ordered the chips and queso from the taco shop inside. 1. Chips were crispy and warm. 2. The queso was soooo good. Fresh and spiced really well. I was so happy we decided on this place. It was a nice little snack while waiting. Oh, did I mention the have an arcade in the back. Wow so many games. We didn't have time to play any but it was awesome to see. Overall wishing we had more time to check out more. Random thing: The queso is really good on top of the Mac & cheese from Beecher's.

They no longer have the delicious nachos!!! I miss them, but they now have pizza instead, which is still pretty good. But the old school pinball machines, video games and very cool staff make this a great dive bar.

Fun place to play pinball, great tacos, cool bartenders and awesome artwork. Tuesday night is a pinball tournament, cool.

The drinks were just okay, not amazing. The vibe of the place was good until we sat down at the bar. The bartender with the beanie and nose ring was not friendly at all. My boyfriend and I were trying to make nice conversation with him by asking how he was doing and he completely ignored us. I understand that it can get busy and you're wanting to finish your shift but straight up ignoring customers is not cool. It just made the situation feel super awkward and unwelcoming.

I personally think this place is a gem. I think this is the fourth time I went and every time I go, I loose the track of time. They have good number and variety of arcade games. They have pinball, racing game and I loved their drink tables with Pac-Man on it. It has Seattle vibe check. Drinks are ok. The machines take in quarter, so of course being those. But that's what the coolest part is to this retro vibe arcade bar.

Great service the bartender was super friendly, great atmosphere with phenomenal vintage arcade and pinball games! Didn't try the food as they didn't have many options. Great must visit whether you are local or are just visiting!

Such a fun time. All my favorite pinball games...minus Ghost Busters...but that's ok. Great vintage arcade games, good bar eats and cocktails. Very gracious staff. Got a dope T-shirt too. Can't wait to visit again soon.

Drove down to Seattle to play pinball and this was a pretty decent place. Drinks were good and large selection of machines.

My girlfriend and I decided to go to Jupiter Bar for drinks and to play games. We had no idea what we were about to experience but we sure are glad we decided to come here. They have a wide selection of pinball machines and numerous classic multiplayer games such as The Simpsons beat em up and Mortal Kombat. We didn't know how long we had stayed until one of their staff members told us they were shutting the machines off in 10 minutes due to closing. Surprisingly, we were there for almost 4 hours enjoying the multitude of games that they had to offer. What's even better is, their games take actual quarters instead of knock off tokens so the nostalgia of a classic arcade really sets in. They also have a vending machine that has postcards you can buy and send to loved ones when you're piss drunk. The overall atmosphere of this place is great and we highly recommend coming if you're into classic arcade and pinball machines!

we try to visit this barcade every time we're in this area of seattle. it's a lot of fun and i love all the fabulous artwork! they occasionally switch things up on the walls and where they put the games, and every time we stop by i take a lap to see what new art is up. it's really a cool spot. their drinks are good and reasonably priced, especially for seattle, but you're not obligated to drink or eat to come in, which is nice. the machines play via quarters and there are a couple of different change machines around, as well as an ATM i believe. pinball is always a good time and they have lots to choose from, and we also enjoy their tabletop arcade games when we bring friends here. super interesting place, we're glad to have found it! also, a few months ago they were selling jupiter shirts with a paratrooper on them... does anyone have a lead on where to get one!? the last time we'd gone, they were waiting on more sizes, but this time they had different designs for sale and we're bummed we missed it!

This place was so much fun we had time to burn before our dinner reservations and this was a perfect spot! The bar is in the front and all the arcade games are in the back , they have so many pin ball games and others . Definitely go !!
