Step into Jupiter Bowl, the vibrant bowling hotspot where a lively bar scene meets gaming excitement, topped with tasty bites and plenty of lanes to roll.
"Best Place to Drink on a Busy Winter Night At the height of the winter ski and tourist season, Park City bars can be packed and parking tough on Historic Main Street. The best-kept imbibing secret if you’re looking for a place with a full bar and plenty of parking? Our local bowling alley. The Black Diamond Bar at Jupiter Bowl overlooks 16 bowling lanes, three pool tables and lounge, offering local craft beers, a decent wine list and signature cocktails like the Jupiter Tea (spiced rum, amaretto, and lemonade). Munchies are satisfying too. The boneless chicken wings and the drunken green beans (crispy fried green beans in a beer & vodka batter) are favorites. And if you feel like bowling a few frames while you’re there, you can bring your drinks lane-side."
A bit over priced comparing to other bowling alleys , it was $9.50 per person per game that’s $5.50 for game and $4 for shoes.
The lanes were average , actually at times the pins fell without being touched or hit with the ball.
Overall ok experience but won’t return.

This review is primarily for the arcade found in the bowling alley. We unanticipatingly stopped here while waiting for our movie to start around the corner.
It's not a large arcade, but the games were... literally larger than life. Especially the modern take on Space Invaders. There was only one pinball machine (a dying art it seems) but it was a relatively new Star Wars machine, apropo since we were waiting to see episode 8.
An air hockey, hunting, hoop, and first person dinosaur shooter were all there as well. Tokens are all $1 but that plays most games... except air hockey which requires two tokens.
A GREAT experience with a bar, pool tables and private dinning rooms. Three actual bowling looked amazing and i can't wait to go back for that experience.

The service was extremely poor. Everything from our arcade games not working to concerns about reservations was handled abrasively by the staff. We went for the bowling and the"Vegas-nightclub-feel" we were told the place had, and we were seriously disappointed.
We arrived at 7pm on a Sunday night and it was a 2 hour wait. So we grabbed a bite to eat, came back and played some arcade games till a lane was open. It was $50 for an hour of unlimited bowling. They started our group of 9 on one lane at 9:15. At 9:50 our first game had ended and the staff refused to let us start a new game because they closed at 10.
No warning they closed at 10 and the manager did not work with us for a discount as we only bowled 35 minutes instead of an hour.
The bowling alley itself had the potential to be cool with 3 large TV screens at the end of the lanes, but each screen was set to different cable channels showing different sitcoms and game shows. We definitely did not get a Vegas nightclub feel. The staff was very rude. I would not recommend this place for the bowling, arcade, bar, or nightlife.

Luster is gone... get here early for spendy lanes, ripped seats, with $12 shots. Packed.

We had a fantastic time! We bowled 2 great games. Very clean and great people. Screens were a cool difference most bowling alleys don't have.
We wanted to eat at the restaurant before we left. We were super hungry coming from Wyoming to bowl. Although we stood at the servers podeium for 12 minutes before anyone seated us. She promised our server would be right out. We sat in the dining room for 20 minutes and still no one. So we went elsewhere for food. The bowling is great. I have heard great things about the food but I guess I don't want to wait 30 minutes+ to try it. If I took that long for a waiter to not appear I don't want to know how long food takes.

Jupiter is a great place to hang out. Lots to do with kids and adults. But....they always seem understaffed in the wait staff area. We had a group of 9 and had to constantly go to the bar and order drinks and food. It was a fun evening but it could have been much more fun.

Nice eating, bowling, gaming center in Park City that we have frequented - esp around the New Year's holiday. The pizzas are huge and excellent. The other dining options are also very good. There are video games, pool tables, pinball machines and multiple lanes for bowling. Prices are moderate and reasonable. Shoe rental is available. The last time we were there in December it was crowded! Seems like other folks have discovered this place. There was a 2-hour wait to bowl. It is a fun place.
