A Hidden Gem with Rustic Charm & Delicious Local Flavors
I visited Just Natural Restaurant on Tuesday, May 20, for a local breakfast, and it was a delightful experience. The food was simple yet delicious—I enjoyed the Akee and saltfish with callaloo, served with fried dumplings, a small side of mango and tomato, and a flavorful turmeric and ginger paste. The flavors were fresh and authentic, truly satisfying.
The coffee was decent, though I did notice the cup could have been cleaned a bit better—a minor detail that could be improved.
The ambiance is rustic and natural, with a warm, earthy vibe that makes you feel at ease. The expansive backyard adds to the relaxed atmosphere, making it a great spot to chill and vibe before heading to your next destination.
What truly stood out was the warm hospitality. The hostess, Mother Teresa (as she’s affectionately called), was an absolute delight—bright, welcoming, and attentive. She greeted me warmly, ensured I was comfortable, and even bid me a proper goodbye.
Overall, I highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for authentic local flavors in a laid-back, nature-inspired setting. It’s a hidden gem worth visiting, whether for a quick bite or a relaxing pause in your day.
