JW Marriott Absheron Baku

JW Marriott Baku is hands down one of my favourite hotels in the world. We've stayed here twice now and both times have had a wonderful experience. From check in to check out everything is luxurious and premium. On both occasions we've booked a Junior studio suite and on our last stay we were upgraded to an Executive Suite, this time we were offered the upgrade but as the room wasn't available until later in the day we opted not to take it... and I'm so glad we did as the Junior Studio Suite felt so much more spacious and open even though it doesn't have a separate living room and bedroom. The Executive Lounge is also large and has everything you'd expect, we ate breakfast here every morning as you can order a la carte over and above the buffet. Pool and spa also deserves a mention. The hotel also has amazing views of the Caspian Sea and is close to so many great restaurants and attractions. Definitely recommend as the top choice in Baku!

On September 6th, we visited the spa for a couples massage, and everything was top-notch. We were warmly greeted, given a thorough explanation of the process, and asked to fill out a form where we specified the type of massage we wanted. Then, we were escorted to the spa area, where we first enjoyed the sauna, followed by a calming jasmine tea. After that, we moved to the room with the massage chairs, where we changed and were asked additional questions to confirm the type of massage we wanted. The massage itself was absolutely amazing – so relaxing that I almost fell asleep. Everything was incredibly comfortable. At the end, we ordered more tea and had a light snack. We were very impressed with everything, but I would suggest adding an online platform for tips, as the staff didn’t accept them, and we would have loved to thank them for their excellent service. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

We recently hosted a two-day corporate event (14–15 October 2025) in the HOVSAN room at JW Marriott Absheron, with around 50 participants. The venue was excellent — spacious, flexible, and well-equipped with audio-visual support for presentations and discussions. A special thanks to Mr. Orkhan Mammahzade (Banquet Supervisor) and Mr. Tural Agayarov (AV Specialist), who went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect — from seating and catering to technical setup and timing. Their professionalism and dedication made our event seamless and successful. A nice business trip experience. The staff at this hotel were really helpful and friendly, which made the stay feel welcoming from the start. The food was also good—tasty and enjoyable, with enough variety to keep things interesting. On top of that, the location was great, making it easy to get around and reach nearby places without any hassle. These parts of the experience definitely stood out in a positive way. That being said, the facilities could use some maintenance. The lamp in the toilet wasn’t working, and the shower had a leak, which was a bit inconvenient. It didn’t ruin the stay, but it did take away from the overall comfort. With a little more attention to fixing these issues, this hotel could offer a much better experience.

The Marriott Absheron exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was truly amazing—warmhearted, welcoming, and very forthcoming with any request or questions we had. Their genuine hospitality made our stay feel incredibly special.||Our room was also a highlight. It not only had an amazing view of the vibrant city but was also kept to an extremely high standard of cleanliness throughout our stay. It was a comfortable and pristine sanctuary after a long day exploring Baku.||Finally, the hotel's location is absolutely perfect. Situated right in the center of town, it was the ideal base for us to explore all of the city's sights on foot. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area

Every detail — from the beautifully appointed room to the thoughtful amenities and delightful breakfast experience — reflected the highest standards of hospitality. Had a cosy experience at OroNero at Marriot Baku, our waitress Afag choose the perfect drink for me as i like sweet and not too strong drinks. She told us it was her second day, how cool she is already with her new role😁

Room was really nice, with a beautiful (albeit kinda partial) sea room view. Excellent guest services. Spa was nice - sauna views were spectacular but steam room was not very steamy. Pool floor also had great views but the hot tubs were pretty small.
