JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel

The hotel's ambiance and fragrance are delightful! The Reception team is lovely, warm, and approachable. Upon entering the room, I found some sweets and a small bottle of wine awaiting me. The room itself was spacious and clean. Breakfast in the morning offered a wide selection of dishes, and I must give credit to Mrs. Elvira, a lovely lady who ensured we lacked nothing. Overall, our stay was fantastic. Regrettably, it was only for one night, but we will definitely return!

It's a proper traditional 5 star. A gem in Bucharest and well located in a bright and open area. ||Staff are superb. Shout out to Dinesha, Eduard and Namik for their excellent customer service!||Bedrooms are huge and beautifully decorated. The hotel is grand and quite breathtaking. Gym is modern and pool requires a swimming cap. Luxury stores e.g., Dior on the ground floor.||The restaurants are great, especially the steakhouse. Some of the best steak I've ever eaten but be sure to adjust your request to account for over cooking e.g., medium rare = medium.||If you upgrade to a breakfast and dinner package this includes an evening buffet and free wine in the executive lounge which is great value. Restaurants are not included in this deal. ||Overall, I'd return to the hotel. I couldn't find fault with our experience there. ||Bucharest is very quiet but the hotel is very relaxing and a lovely place to hide away for a weekend.

It is a destination on its own. Located in a historical and impressive building, offering the best accommodations and dining experience— our stay with them was truly memorable! ||Our room had a beautiful view of the city, the breakfast had an amazing sumptuous spread, and dinners at Cucina and JW Steakhouse were just the best! ||We love the GM Cihan, executive chefs Nicolai, Nikitha and even Marcela at breakfast. ||We can’t wait to visit again! thank you to everyone who made our stay extra amazing!

A decent hotel near the Old Town – close taxi proximity for exploring amazing restaurants and bars. ||||The large, Vegas-style lobby with a casino and high-end shops creates a luxurious vibe. However, the rooms feel run down and could use an upgrade. Kudos to the attentive staff and swift laundry service. ||||The gym, though equipped, is not quite 'world-class' – it's dated, and the small pool area. ||||Overall a typical conference-style hotel - large and will do the job.

I really liked the experience! The hotel was amazing! The casino was lovely! The dealers were really kind and the staff was polite! I have a question about the dealer named Alex.. whats his social because we had a really good conversation about some stuff and I wanted to know him well! Thank you!

Mr Bhakta is an excellent host I have ever met in marriott hotels before. Very genuine. Generously serving with full of smile from heat. I wish him good luck and will come back again for his outstanding service for us. Great personal. Very bright future ahead. I am sure he will climb the ladder fast with his humble behaviour towards guest. I really wish him a great fir his future endeavour. I look forward to see him again.

We went over to host a recruitment campaign for the airlines and were very impressed with the hotel and location.||The team exceeded my expectations! Paul at check-in was very professional, offered us superb customer service, and excellent customer experience, and did a great job explaining the facilities and city. A decadent hotel that although slightly shows its age, is still a terrific place to stay in Bucharest. Multiple restaurants, a bakery, laundry, high end shopping, great gym facility, centrally located with a very nice staff. Definitely will return to this hotel. Good work Marriott!!
