JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok

We stayed at the JW Marriott Bangkok in early December 2025 to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, and the hotel staff made it truly memorable. They surprised us with beautiful room decorations and two delicious cakes, which was a thoughtful touch that made our celebration extra special. The hotel's location is excellent, offering convenient access to key areas of the city. The rooms are modern and well-appointed with all the amenities you'd expect from a luxury 5-star property. Service is outstanding and staff consistently goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel well cared for. As an Indian vegetarian, I was particularly pleased to find excellent options at the daily breakfast buffet, with good variety and quality.

Everything about this hotel is perfect. The suites are lovely, the staff can’t do enough for you - they are so thoughtful and just excellent at making you feel not just welcome but important. The breakfast in the main restaurant is out of this world! The members lounge is fantastic, one of the best we’ve ever experienced and you cannot miss the evening snacks. The choice of restaurants in the hotel is very good too, plus you have a great fish market across the road where you can eat the best grilled sea bass with salt (it's called Aree and I strongly recommend trying it, we eat here at least once per stay). Location wise is quite busy, but you’re right in the action so it comes with a price. The gym was recently upgraded and is one of the best we've seen. The pool area has a few sun loungers directly in the sun, so if you want to sunbathe it could prove tricky depending on the time of the day. We usually stay here when in Bangkok and we happily return yearly. I am writing this as we have arrived here today and everything is so consistently good! We are Marriott members and although there is a number of Marriott hotels we could chose from, we chose to come back here every time (we stayed here 20+ times over the years).

We had a personalised check in service at the lounge. The welcome amenities were tailored to our preferences. There was a variety of food at the lounge which changes daily. The lounge can get a bit busy at times especially during evening canapes but the food was replenished quickly. Lounge was sufficiently staffed and service was efficient. Tawan their guest relations manager constantly checked in on is to see how our stay was and helped us resolve some issues we caused unintentionally / unknowingly, going above and beyond what was necessary. Breakfast was excellent with variety and excellent crepes. The little elephants placed on the bed during turndown and the handwritten note from housekeeping all added a very nice and personal touch.

I had an amazing time at the JW Marriott Bangkok! The location was literally perfect - super central, easy to get around, and loads of great restaurants and shops nearby. Breakfast was a highlight for me - the spread was incredible! They had everything from local Thai dishes to international favorites, and plenty of halal options too (super important to me). The quality was top-notch and the staff were super attentive.

Bangkok has so many great places to stay — from cozy budget hotels to some of the most luxurious properties in the world. But for me, the JW Marriott Bangkok will always be special. Every time I come back, it truly feels like coming home. The staff here treat you like family. No request is ever too small or too big, and you can really feel that they care. It’s the little things that make such a big difference — and that’s what sets the JW apart and keeps me coming back. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and always spotless. The food is amazing — whether it’s the delicious breakfast buffet, fresh sushi, or a drink at the Manhattan Bar, everything is top-notch. And I have to mention some of the new team members like Tawan, who’s already making a wonderful impression and helping make this hotel even better. What I love most is how the staff remember you each time you walk through the door. It’s not just great service — it’s genuine warmth. With its unbeatable location right in the center of everything, the JW Marriott Bangkok really has it all: great rooms, great food, and truly great people. For me, it’s more than just a hotel — it’s my home away from home.

I really enjoyed my stay. Excellent service with attention to detail. For example, I loved the fact that the TV wasn't already on when I got to the room and that it came back on the last channel that I had turned it off on. In the room, I would have liked a little more drawer/closet space but that wouldn't stop me from choosing the hotel again.

I would like to sincerely appreciate the outstanding service and kindness shown by the security staff at JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok. I am a foreign visitor from Sri Lanka, and while staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bangkok, I was taking a night walk near the JW Marriott Hotel on the night of January 11th. Two individuals approached me and persistently tried to sell oils and medicines, making me feel uncomfortable. The two security gentlemen on duty near the gas station side of the JW Marriott hotel entrance noticed the situation immediately. They stepped in, asked those individuals to leave, and ensured my safety. They also took the time to explain that these people were scammers, which I truly appreciated. As a foreigner, this kind of care, awareness, and professionalism meant a lot to me. Their actions made me feel safe and looked after, even though I was not a guest of the hotel. To those two gentlemen: thank you so much. You are truly amazing, and JW Marriott should be very proud of you. 🙏
