JW Marriott Hotel Kolkata

Experience altogether was great right from the point of check in there were several people engaged to make check-in easier. First time I saw a room experience manager explaining the facilities in the room. That was great. Dinner experience was also great with customer experience manager Umme taking care of my order and giving a homely experience. Since it was my first visit to Kolkata and not aware of region specific dishes Umme helped me with a nice Misti Dahi as compliment and introduced me to the chef also. I think this is unique way to engage which otherwise would have been a monotonous dinner alone. |On the improvement side Ala Carta choise could have been more and quality of food can be improved. |One major issue I faced was the room equipment's are so sophisticated that it is hard to operate. It was difficult to understand hot water and cold water system and shower. There should be some manual. Same with the touch screen panels.|A/C kept room very cold and any effort to increase it did not work. The engineer came and tried. But in morning it displayed the same low temperature.|Apart from these couple of things altogether stay was very good

We stayed at this location for 10 nights and enjoyed every bit of time here. Location is excellent and we had hotel car pick us up from airport, it was part of room package. Our assigned concierge was Mehzbaan and she was very nice, helpful and made entire check in process a breeze. She always kept tab on us about any other needs and suggested various things for sightseeing as well.|Room was excellent and we were on 8th floor. Wifi was excellent and with three of us doing work, video conference and so on, not once it gave us problem.|Room was spacious, clean, well lit. We had laundry service done for 4 pieces every day as it was part of out room package due to long stay. Room had plenty of drinking water supplied. |Buffet breakfast was amazing and had a good spread. Area is maintained very well and run very well.|We wanted to make some special call out for following folks from dinning services as their service made our stay just amazing and hope to meet in future when we travel back to this property -|Sous Chef - Deep Kumar Paul - He was simply amazing, very humble and nice person. He cooked amazing dishes which were pleasing to look at and also amazing in taste. We almost chatted with him on daily basis. |Assistant Restaurant Manager - Chetan Jagdale - Very energetic and always smiling and ready to assist with any need. Despite his long hours at work his dedication and focus was unmistakable. He always came by and checked on our stay and how food is.|Gym was amazing and large selection of equipment and well stocked with water and other fruit drinks. |Pool looked amazing however we didn't go into pool. We did make use of Sauna and steam room and facility was amazing.

Fantastic Staff. From the moment you arrive the staff are truly warming and welcoming. We were upgraded to a suite being a titanium member. Nothing for the staff was too hard. If we felt like hash browns for breakfast the staff in the executive lounge would fetch them. Feel like some garlic naan? Not a worry the executive lounge staff and chef will prepare this for you. The breakfast choice was amazing. There is no way this hotel could improve. The cocktail happy hour was delicious with our bartender preparing me a Singapore Sling, something I had a craving for since Transiting via Singapore. This hotel was so good, I returned back from a prior trip in June. I love how the staff also gave name cards. It meant if you needed anything you could whatspp them and they would help right away. Can’t wait to return to this paradise. This is the reason why this hotel is number 1

It was my visit to Marriott and it was a pleasant stay. Pick up and drop service was on time, driver was very good both the time Check in process was quick and smooth Room was beautiful and the bathroom was even more beautiful and spacious. Food was delicious, JW kitchen serves a wide variety of menu Lobby and executive lounge is beautifully designed. Swimming pool was very nice The thing that I didn't like was the comb provided in the room but on request it was replaced with a good one for which I praise their service

Visited the property after 5 years. The front desk was helpful and patient. Credit to Sanchita for support provided. The staff was very courteous. Room spacious and comfortable. Post checkin call to check if anything is needed is sign of proactive attitude. Thanks for that. Morning breakfast spread in JW kitchen was great with a helpful staff. The check out support provided by Sajida including taking care of luggage is worth a mention from a guest care perspective. Felt like with family and people who care!

I had a fantastic experience at JW Marriott Kolkata, and I owe a big thank you to Ms Kulsum Buksh ! She went above and beyond to assist me with my booking and ensure my stay was perfect. Her professionalism, helpfulness, and friendly demeanor made a significant difference. She answered all my questions, accommodated my requests, and made the entire process seamless. Thanks to her, I had a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to others. Great job!

It was a nice experience. Staff was very courteous. Special mention about Umme. She was very patient and helpful. ||Good and neat facilities. Rooms were quite spacious. Worth trying pan Asian and bakery there.||Breakfast buffet was quite good.

Excellent food quality in the buffet dine… especially unexpected true hospitality from my childhood friend Mr.Abhishek ( executive chef)…enjoyed a lot..keep up the good work and serve to the fullest 😀I recommend everyone personally to go and have fun with your friends and family 🤟
