The stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing. The bartenders and staff at high velocity were wonderful and the whole team worked together to make sure you were taken care of. The valet service was amazing. Took very good care of my car as well as took all our bags to our room. They also took them back to the car. As well as loaded and unloaded the bags too. They brought a case of water to our room. And champagne and chocolates. The front desk staff was amazing!!! Jasmine was amazing with answering all of my questions and was very knowledgeable about the hotel and everything they offer.

I’m a Titanium Member and JW Marriotts never disappoint when it comes to great service. But I have to say that Alex and Mes in the Executive Lounge are EXCEPTIONAL!! Friendly and knowledgeable, but also ELEGANT - they both just ooze class. My experience spending 30 mins in the lounge was just wonderful. Please appreciate them and take care of them, because they’re taking care of your guests in a big way. 👍🏼

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at the JW Marriott Indianapolis for our wedding night, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special — we were greeted with such kindness and care, and every detail truly made us feel celebrated. Our Corner Executive Suite was stunning — spotless, spacious, and with an incredible view overlooking Lucas Oil Stadium and Victory Field right outside our windows. The shower was the star of the room, offering amazing water pressure and multiple shower heads for a truly luxurious experience. The sparkling wine and chocolates were the perfect touch to end our night as newlyweds. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations, and we can’t thank the JW Marriott team enough for making our wedding night so memorable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service, comfort, and a touch of luxury!

I stayed at the JW Marriott Indianapolis Downtown for a cheer event and was there for the entire weekend. The hotel was a great experience overall, but my favorite part of my stay was hands down the bar. It was sooooo busy every night, yet Eric, the bartender, made the experience feel personal and top-tier. His drinks were absolutely delicious — he created a special cucumber martini for me on the spot, and it was so good I came back the next day just to get another one. What really stood out was Eric’s service and attention to detail. He remembered it was my birthday, wished me well, and immediately knew exactly what I wanted without me even having to ask. Even with the bar packed, he still managed to check on everyone, keep the water flowing, and make sure every guest felt taken care of. He also introduced us to a few of his other signature mixes, and they were just as good. Eric is truly one of the best bartenders I’ve had — skilled, professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient under pressure. I will absolutely be back, and I’ll definitely be stopping by the bar to see Eric again.

Five star room, customer service and members lounge. We are Elite members and often find that hotels don’t offer the upgrades Marriott promises. But the JW Marriot offers more a five star experience. We were offered a room upgrade to a corner room with view of the city. The rooms are wonderful - comfortable beds, incredible view and central location. The floor to ceiling windows offer a view that matches anything we’ve seen in Chicago or New York. The members lounge is amazing - floor to ceiling windows 31 stories above the city. Full breakfast, lunch and dessert options. Throughout the customer service has been amazing. Becky, Ditta, Meseret and Alex in the members lounge asked about allergies and made sure I had gluten free desserts. Thanks guys!

I had a great experience at the lobby bar at the JW Marriott, mostly because of Rhye! From the moment I sat down, their professionalism and friendly demeanor stood out. Rhye clearly knows their craft. Every drink was thoughtfully made but what really made the experience special was how welcoming and attentive they were. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in their work. Rhye is easily one of the best bartenders in the city and a true asset to the JW Marriott. I will 100% be back!

I have stayed at this J.W. for trade shows over the last 15 years. The rooms are always clean and onsite restaurants are very good. Service is top notch and location is prime for downtown Indy. Only complaint is if your room is on the city side/front it can be very noisy with traffic and sirens.

We booked a King Suite at the JW Marriott specifically to ring in the New Year with the "style, fashion, and peace" this brand promises. My girlfriend manages a chronic, painful physical condition she’s had since childhood, so this wasn’t just a "night out"... it was a carefully planned, much needed romantic sanctuary. Our plan was simple: a quiet evening together watching the series finale of Stranger Things and catching the ball drop. However, the experience was utterly derailed by the hotel's infrastructure. We spent nearly half of our New Year’s Eve frustrated and hunched over devices because the "complimentary" Wi-Fi was non-functional and the TV system refused to connect to Netflix. While technical glitches happen, the reason for this two-star review is the staff’s complete apathy. When we reached out for help, we were met with a literal shrug. No troubleshooting, no whitelisting of our devices, and zero effort to rectify the situation. To make matters worse, the "luxury" service at the bar was non-existent. We tried to order a Vegas Bomb and a Piña Colada, only to be told they "couldn't make them right now" When I asked for a simple Corona Extra, they couldn't even manage to find a lime for it. Instead of a peaceful night of recovery, we spent our holiday acting as our own IT department, wasting hours of an expensive stay on basic amenities and receiving "standard motel" service at a JW price point. We left feeling that our time, and my girlfriend’s need for a peaceful evening, were completely disregarded by a team that couldn't be bothered to provide even the most basic hospitality.

Love this hotel and the staff real bad. Everyone was attentive, welcoming. During a busy conference I was attending at the hotel the staff worked very hard to make sure we got what and where we needed throughout the hotel (for the better part of a week). Housekeeping and conference dining staff are incredibly on point and deserve all the praise. The Taylor Swift is a nice touch

This is a perfectly fine property. However. For a JW Marriott my expectations were much, much higher. This is allegedly the nicest hotel in Indy, which does not speak well for the city. What makes a hotel luxury are the amenities. The amenities here are standard at best, nothing special at all. The high floor elevators were finicky and somehow even with a higher floor button lit up and the voice announcing "going up" the elevator went down instead, more than once. Operator error is always possible, but unlikely. My king reservation got "upgraded" upon my arrival to a queen bed on a high floor, which I consider a downgrade from what I requested. There is no hot tub- unlike every Fairfield Inn I've ever stayed at. I was expecting a luxury stay, this was unfortunately not it. The staff are fantastic- friendly and helpful, the only real bright spot.

Despite being very expensive (with taxes, over $300US per night, which was $425 CAD!), we stayed at the JW Marriott for Gen Con as it was not only very close to the convention center where Gen Con was being held, but there was also a walkway between the hotel and convention center. (Yes, we were willing to pay for convenience.) The JW Marriott is a lovely hotel with nice rooms, and we were in room 3036, on the 30th floor, overlooking White River State Park. So why the low rating? The goddamn NOISE. One evening, our room was SHAKING with vibrations, and our entire room was filled with the *woom woom woom* of bass. I wasn't just hearing loud music; our entire room was engulfed with noise and vibrations so great that it was painful. I called the front desk, and they said it was likely a concert from the amphitheater in White River State Park. Looking out our window confirmed there was a concert. Walking by the amphitheater the next day, I saw a sign listing of all the concerts happening during our stay, and sure enough on concert days (August 4th and 5th), our room was shaking with deafening vibrations in the evenings. Thankfully the concerts would end around 10pm, but it was impossible to relax in our room while the concerts were happening. I asked some people who were staying at the hotel but on the opposite side (not overlooking the park) if they had heard anything, and they said no. So it appears as if only the rooms overlooking the park were affected by the noise. But I wouldn't think that being on the 30th floor we'd hear anything! So for two out of six nights, it was hell. And at $300US+ a night, absolutely unacceptable -- for the price we paid, I expect quiet! Despite being a nice hotel, I will NOT stay there again, unless I am guaranteed it is not overlooking the park (and I would check the amphitheater concert schedule first!). I had the pleasure of attending the Women's Conference at the JW Marriott ballroom. The experience was A+. The food was like a B. The building and the amenities were definitely an A. Everything inside is gorgeous and there is definitely a fresh perfumed scent wafting through the building. I did not have a room here, but their banquet facilities are top-notch.

Nicely up-kept hotel. Convenient to downtown and bridge to convention center. Executive lounge had decent food but during peak hours it was hard to find seating. Staff friendly.

Decent rooms, nothing to rave about but very friendly staff throughout! Delicious room service and got there faster than expected. Can take some time to get anywhere due to the elevators filling up fast, so make sure you add some extra time to get there. Nice restaurant downstairs in the lobby and delicious Starbucks on the second floor. They work amazingly fast! I forgot my toothpaste and thankfully the hotel had some!

Stayed here several nights and attended multiple events. It's very nice, efficient, etc but gives much more of a "business" vibe than a romantic or date night vibe. Rooms are very standard, no major amenities to write home about, pretty basic Marriott chain stuff. Parking is $$$. Fine when you're in the area or attending something here but I wouldn't seek it out for a fancy night out.

I have always loved this hotel and I still do. But, it is in need of some updates. Especially for technology in the room. It's almost a time capsule from 20 years ago. Except prices have went up significantly over the last 20 years. Based on the need for some needed updates I gave it 4 stars. The executive lounge is not good. They close up early and when they are open, it is a pathetic offering of food and snacks. Very disappointing.

I had the chance to stay one night at the JW for a work conference. When we arrived- the lobby area was packed - I couldn't tell if it was for the restaurants or due to the rain outside. Checking in was a breeze and the staff were helpful- our reservation said two queens or a king and at first they were going to give us two queens but the staff member found an available king bed. Our room was on the 23rd floor. The elevators move pretty quick and the views are beautiful from every area of the hotel. Our room was a nice size and was well maintained. I did find some small stains on the bed sheets but it looked like makeup that was hard to remove. I did notice our rooms fridge was on the ground and also there was no microwave- just interesting for a hotel of this price/size. The bed was comfortable and we had an enjoyable stay.

The hotel room was an executive suite and it had the best views. Nice, clean and just beautiful.

It was such a pleasure to stay at this hotel. I was here for three nights for a work conference at the hotel. The hotel was conveniently located and a quick ride from the airport. The surrounding area is nice with a variety of attractions and restaurants within walking distance. There were also great views from the higher floors of the hotel. The conference facilities were large, clean, and had good signage to help with navigation. The conference rooms were nice and had everything we needed for our presentation. The hotel rooms were clean and large. The service was great. The amenities were nice. I would definitely stay here again.

No Christmas lights! Disappointed they have zero decorations or let alone normal lighting at the entrance. Tourists want to see beautiful lighting especially around Christmas time! Would add to the ambiance.

JW Marriott is a true gem in Downtown Indianapolis. We love to stay here when we go to a concert downtown. The rooms are always spotless and the employees are always friendly. Room Seevice is top notch and love the bar to stop at on the way to concert and on the way back from the concert. Can't wait to stay there again in May.

Stayed twice now! I love this place! Only took pics of the gym because it's my fav. The convenience to downtown things, walking or using rideshare and the amenities just make it the best. It's all luxury and I sleep so well here.

Stayed as a guest during a concert held at White River State park and we could actually see the stage from our room. Room was clean and comfy. The food offered at the JW is very good and the bartenders know their craft because the drinks were amazing. I also attended a conference here and was very pleased with the food catered and the rooms for the presentations. Plus the hotel is part of the skywalk which i took advantage of when it was cold and rainy outside to walk all the way comfortably to Circle Center mall. Would definitely stay as a guest here again.

Shit service. Seriously. With a capital S. We arrived at 11:00 there were 40 people in line to check in. Okay, go to the bar and chill. Two hours later (1:00 am) the line still has 40 people and two people checking in guests. C'mon man. Get your shit together. In a service industry, SERVICE MATTERS! Two people! C'mon managers, staff appropriately. You knew these people were coming. Either you are lazy or are just cutting corners to make a buck.

I love a good Marriott & the JW Marriott Indianapolis was wonderful. I came for a medical conference being held in the hotel. They provided me 2 nights in a regular 2 queen bed guest room. Here is the good: - room was clean, comfortable, & had a great view - each room has a mini fridge with a small (but mighty) freezer section. I had meds that require a fridge & ice packs & it was perfect for that. -the bed was perfect & they have options of down feather pillow or foam pillows -the Bonvoy app has a chat feature & the hotel responded efficiently & were super helpful. - nice touches like biscoff cookies, bottled water, tea/coffee, body wash/shampoo/conditioner in the shower, USB ports as well as outlets. - room service menu is the same as the on-site restaurants, except also a breakfast menu. I ate at OP, visited the lobby bar, & got room service at night & one morning- all food & drinks were delicious. $5 for a literal can of Dr Pepper hurt my soul, but it's not unexpected. -after check in, my friend went to their little market & was going to buy bottled water (we hadn't been to the room). The front desk told her the room had water bottles & the front desk would give her as many as she wanted for free. They could have just taken her money & not told her, so it was nice. -conference facilities were great. The hotel is huge so could be a bit of a maze, but lots of good signage. - on-site Starbucks was nice -catered food for the conference was better than I expected given most of the patients at the conference needed low sodium, plus other dietary limitations. The food was surprisingly flavorful! -everything was clean, no matter where in the hotel I went, everything was clean. -they have 12 main elevators (& additional ones around the hotel) from the lobby to the room floors. They are fast, quiet, & nice. You do need a room key to access room floors, which can be annoying but it also nice. -literally every staff member I met- front desk, valet, bellman, servers, catering, managers, room service, housekeeping, floating staff- every single one was extremely nice. Never once did I get a sense that any one was annoyed or bothered. No one looked like they were having a bad day (& statistically some likely were). They seem to have high standards for their staff & they meet those standards. Negatives: - Parking isn't included in the room price & for self-park in the garage (as of august 2024) it was $55/day. Now, this is a JW, downtown, in the largest city in the state. It's expected & all hotels do it, which is why it doesn't reduce the rating. I understand it, I just don't like it. -There were some elevator issues. 3 that I know of. Once one of the elevators wouldn't scan any keycard (including the managers) so it was unusable to rooms. But, there were 5 others in that bank that worked, so not a huge deal. One woman had the elevator get stuck while she was in it, but a maintainence person was in there with her so she got out right away. And my last night the fire department came because another one got stuck, I assume with people in it. I don't know if that was all the same elevator or different ones. That being said, there were plenty of other elevators & the hotel did everything to fix them right away. The whole conference I never saw more than 6 people waiting for an elevator at a time & I personally never waited more than 2min for an elevator to arrive once I've pressed the button. I slept so well & really enjoyed this hotel. Will I be back? Probably not. But that has nothing to do with the hotel & everything to do with the fact that I simply cannot afford it. I only stayed here due to conference scholarship covering the cost (minus parking & room service, I paid that). If I had the opportunity of a free stay or I somehow had a lot of money, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were only here for a short one night stay, but everything was perfect. We stayed on points and they honored the bon Voy suite night upgrade to a king room with a great view. Everything was perfectly clean and modern. The building stands out and pops on the Indy skyline. Easy walk to the triple a and football stadiums, park, and zoo. Great breakfast and snacks at the executive lounge for elite. We'll definitely be back here!

This hotel is in a fantastic location, and has the typical JW amenities, but I'm honestly not sure if I'd stay again. It's directly across from the minor league stadium, which is the reason we chose this spot. Traffic was a beast and we tried to self park, but it was blocked off. So we used valet and I think it was about $65 for one night. Walking in there were several customer service associates ready to help/check in. It's also a conference center and across from the convention center, so different parts of the lobby have two bars and a Starbucks. We checked in easily and received our corner room on the 32nd floor. The room was nice and clean and the city view was incredible! The downfalls were two: the noise at night was so loud, including traffic, a dripping sound from the ceiling and tapping from the air conditioner. So sleep was sparse from us. We also had to call maintenance at 10:30 pm following the baseball game as the shower wasn't draining. The bathrobe, towels, and products were nice and higher end. We had access to the Bonvoy lounge which was one flow below us. We went for happy hour which was packed with conference folks-the food was mediocre. Breakfast was better the next morning-consisting of an array of fruits and a few hot options. The coffee machine and creamer variety was appreciated! So yes-it was a nice JW. However I appreciate my sleep and the noise was just too much for me.

Rooms are spacious (closets ARE NOT), linens are luxurious, bed is firm and comfortable, but bring your own pillow...these did not help my sleep. At your service was very helpful, concierge was amazing, lobby is spacious and above expectation. I ate at both restaurants and thought they were good. Starbucks on the second floor was wonderful. Housekeeping was daily and exceptional. A wonderful stay!!!

JW Marriott continues to be the hotel of choice for our parent company's annual meeting, and I love coming here. In fact I checked in an evening early just to enjoy their beds! Check in was fast and friendly. Within a couple of minutes I had my key and was on my way up to the room on the 20th floor. No issues in the room, it was organized and extremely clean. Plenty of closet and drawer space to unpack, plus a small refrigerator. The bathroom has a lot of space to get ready and a very large shower. Also loved the robe hanging in the closet. Room service is no longer automatic; however, you can call and request it. The downstairs lobby is a nice spot to relax, either to work alone or in a group, or enjoy a cocktail. The hotel bar is available during certain evenings. They had to hustle to take care of our large group but did a good job. On the other side of the hotel is High Velocity, a restaurant and bar. We used several of their meeting areas, likely all at the same time for various groups. Their team also provided multiple breakfasts and lunches, plus mid day snacks and coffee. So much coffee! On the second floor there's a Starbucks too, plus more great lounge space and a pedway to the Indiana Convention Center, Colts Stadium and more. This hotel is less than a mile to the Colts Stadium and we also walked across the street to the Indiana State Museum. It's located only a handful of blocks from popular eating establishments and bars, which you can walk to or take a quick Uber. Parking is available under the hotel. A bit confusing as it connects to several hotels and expensive, but convenient. Already looking forward to going back!

Spent 4 days/3 nights at the JW for a convention. This hotel (actually, the entire complex) is obviously built for conventions. The public spaces are open and airy, with tons of seating. The hotel decor is very 'Marriott', and has a more upscale feeling than your standard Marriott hotel. The rooms are well-appointed (super comfortable beds), though somehow we wound up in a room without a fridge, which was pretty inconvenient since sleep frequently had leftovers from various meals. Elevators were always fast, and we had an amazing view from the 21st floor! I definitely want to call out the staff for this hotel! Housekeeping was always fast and friendly, and the hotel was great about getting our trash and replenishing towels upon request. The lobby bar cocktails were amazing, and the bartenders were great! We ordered the meatballs one night and they were delicious! Very few cons, but they did keep me from giving five stars: *Lack of a fridge in our room *Have to go to the 2nd floor for ice (though kudos to the hotel for having microwaves available there as well) *High velocity was pretty overpriced in my opinion - drinks were not as good as at the lobby bar and the food was awful. The vibe was mostly frat house meets tailgating, and while that definitely has its place (and we are literally blocks away from multiple major sports), I have a hard time spending $$$ on a not great cocktail and soggy quesadillas. Overall, still a great experience! I've stayed at multiple hotels in downtown Indy, and while the JW adds a few blocks to your walk downtown, it stands out as one of the nicest hotels. Worth the extra walk or short Uber! One last shoutout to the hotel staff - they were well-staffed and on top of things!

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and the hotel itself was in a very nice location. They left a couple complimentary water bottles in the rooms after cleaning every day which has great because I didn't see any markets near by. The room was very spacious and I had such an amazing corner new of the river and the stadium.

A consistently clean well-run property that you've come to expect from Marriott. Location is great as well. Definitely my first choice when I visit Indy.

Im sitting in the restaurant and saw two elderly people almost fall on there face. This problem needs to be addressed before someone gets hurt. There are 2 bolts sticking out of the ground where a post used to be.

This is the third time we have stayed here and the past 2 experiences were not so great. This last one we asked for a high floor and a corner room facing the park. When I tried to check in my room was not ready but it was facing the street. I asked if they had any park views available but was told no. I waited until til 4:30 for my room to be available even tho check in as at 4. At 4:30 I went to the front desk and explained that I need to get into my room because I had an event to be to shortly. Suddenly they found a park view room for me. After they "switched some things around. ". Why make me wait for it? The same thing happened the last time I stayed here. Clearly they are waiting to give the better rooms to more important clients. That kinda sucks.

We've stayed her on a handful of occasions for club sports travel, on weekends where the rates get doubled. Location is convenient, and the hotel is nice. However, as a Marriott Titanium member, I think their rates are high for what they offer (at least for these in-demand weekends we've chosen). Parking: They share a parking garage with 3 hotels, making self-parking an unpredictable nightmare. The hotel hosts evening events, which makes parking even worse. Valet is a necessity if you need to drive at all--or you could park at a lot elsewhere. Club/Lounge: It is a really nice perk, with a variety of nice food, drinks, and snacks. However, their elevator situation makes it a challenge to access if you aren't assigned a room in the same tower as the club. Each time we've stayed it has been a total pain--you have to go to the lower floor, then switch elevators to go back up. One of these days I'm going to remember to request a room in the same elevator system as the lounge. Nearby hotels: It is attached to the Springhill Suites and Courtyard. I've stayed at all. If the rate is significantly different, I opt for the Springhill. They aren't as fancy, and they don't offer club level--but they are a great alternative if the price is significantly different.

Clearly the best place to stay in Indianapolis. Always clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Check in/out effortlessly. Worth the money spent

I stayed at the JW Marriott for almost a week to do all day Zoom meetings. I'm so glad I did. My stay was comfortable and peaceful. It was a welcome change of scenery and pace from home and the office. The executive suite was perfect with a separate bedroom from the living room which had a desk, tv, and sectional sofa. The floor to ceiling windows made the room perfect. They have remodeled during this COVID period, so everything is new. The decor is great and the bed was very comfortable. My room also overlooked beautiful White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis.

High points of this hotel: * Beautiful, clean modern room and bathroom * Location by convention center, Lucas Oil arena, downtown (many of the hotels around there, including the JW, offer skywalks to/from the convention center) * Very nice, clean gym (open 24 hours) with some free weights. Lots of equipment and lots of natural light. Things that need work: * Customer service (Could not check in at 4:30 p.m. on a Wednesday; my basic room not ready and no other room options. As a result, I had to check my luggage while I went to go set up convention center exhibit booth. When I came back later to check in at 7 p.m., it took more than 2 hours and 2 manager calls for me to get my checked bags delivered to my room. Also very difficult to get someone at the front desk to answer the phone during regular business hours.) * Hotel restaurant hours/food very limited right now (the Italian place is closed at night, open for breakfast only), and no room service. * The executive lounge is closed. I was told as Platinum Bonvoy I would get a discount on my breakfast in the restaurant instead but there were no discounts. Not sure what was supposed to happen (I've called the hotel to ask). The customer service issue is an especially big deal for business travelers. The problems checking in and getting my bags made my work a lot more complicated than necessary and gave me headaches. My work computer was in one of the bags that took more than 2 hours to deliver, and I had to host a work Zoom on my mobile phone instead of my laptop because of the problems -- not the best professional image. It's the first time I've stayed at JW Marriott and had such negative experiences with customer service. The room was really nice, but I would look for other options before choosing to stay here again.

We had a great experience at the JW Marriott! Walking distance to the Zoo and downtown. Close to many restaurants. Downside was the traffic outside the hotel trying to get to the valet parking. Had to do a couple of circles until we got there. We got upgraded to use the breakfast but it only went to 9:30am on the weekend and we missed it.

It's a busy day with lots of events and the rooms not ready of course, Libby bar isn't even open till 5.

Mason at Valet was super. 94 year old mom he helped so polite Definitely loved the way they treated us during convention.

Solid hotel for business. Had a conference here and the overall experience and stay was great. The food catering for the conference was excellent. The rooms are nice and wifi is fast in the rooms. They have a nice gym and offer free bottle water.

We stayed for 3 nights just prior to Christmas 2022. I was longing to stay here for years and due to bad winter weather we stayed because we needed to be in Indy and did not want to travel icy roads. This hotel is great but the staff are wonderful! We so enjoyed how much nicer our stay was due to excellent professional people. The room was clean, large, heat was perfect with below zero temperature outside. Super bathroom and shower. Large television. This place actually cleaned rooms daily. Took advantage of the food in the hotel and it was very good. Due to weather and a short staff we had to take it to go. We enjoyed our food by a fireplace in the lobby area. Parking was enclosed and was nice to use this valet service with the terrible weather. This hotel exceeded our expectations.

The JW Marriott Indianapolis is a gorgeous, 33 story modern structure adjacent to the Convention centre hosting a clean, prestigious, and posh atmosphere. Opened in 2011, it is the tallest building in Indiana and has skyways linking the hotel to the Convention Centre, the Circle Centre Mall and even Lucas Oil Stadium. Its floor to ceiling windows allow you fantastic views of either downtown Indianapolis, the White River or lush green parks near by. As a Marriott Gold Elite members, we were upgraded to a corner mini-suite with breathtaking views of the city. Our room was spacious, comfortable and simplistic but in a elegant way. The bedding was comfy...loved the fluffy thick comforters, and the huge windows made it perfect for watching the sunset. Check-in was quick, easy and stress free. The staff did an awesome job ensuring guests were attended to all while continuing to observe close contact was minimized. A shout-out to both Austin and Jennifer (front desk staff members) who were top notch. They were friendly, extremely helpful and even answered some of our dumb questions...like where was the Starbucks in the hotel when the sign was just to the left of us. Lol. The food was outstanding. We had lunch and supper at one of the two in-house restaurants, High Velocity, which followed the strict COVID guidelines. We did not have a chance to try the second restaurant, OP Italian, as it was still closed but if it anything like High Velocity, we would not be disappointed. Overall, this is an absolutely gorgeous and beautiful luxury hotel in downtown Indy and would definitely visit again for sure! The JW is such a nice hotel. From the parking garage to the lobbies, every inch is really clean, sophisticated, and welcoming. It's perfectly located by Lucas oil for football and victory field for baseball among other event facilities. The JW is also a great venue for events as I've attended a couple work events here as well. Service is great! There is a Fedex shop for your mailing needs and a Starbucks on the 2nd floor. On the first floor they have a very nice sports bar called high velocity where you can enjoy watching a sport on their multiple TVs or drink/snack before an event. This hotel really caters to all guests.

The JW is my favorite hotel in Indianapolis. Always a class act! I have been to several conferences at the JW too.The food at the conference i attended in August of 2021 was just ok! Not sure if it was the conference committee or the hotel. My stay was AMAZING!! Comfy beds, beautiful rooms and so quiet! Always my first pick when staying downtown!!

Overall a terrible experience. From double charging my father for a room to losing an item purchased in a charity event, the JW Marriott should be ashamed of their service. The customer service was also shockingly bad. I purchased an item in a charity event hosted at the hotel, gave it to the front desk to be delivered to my dad's room, and was assured it would be sent up just for it to be delivered to the wrong room. Apparently, it is "against policy" for them to contact the guest they incorrectly gave the item to and could only refund my dad for his room (which they double charged him for and took 3 weeks to correct anyway). I was showing up in person and calling for over a week (nobody would call me back even though they said they would after giving my contact information over) before receiving any information on what was happening. Thank you to the JW Marriott for costing me money and doing little to nothing to try and retrieve my item that THEY misplaced. Keep it up, you guys are killing it.

The updated hotel rooms at the JW are extremely comfortable and luxurious! I wish that my bed at home was that comfy. The view of the city from the hotel room is so grand. The shower amenities are spa worthy.

Travelled from CA. We stayed at the JW Marriott for the 2023 EOS Conference. This hotel seems VERY popular for conferences & events. The entire time we were there (5 days) there were large groups in and out for big nights. The conference was structured and laid out so well for a large group. It was a great venue to host! When we arrived the hotel lobby was packed, but the front desk was super friendly and efficient and handled the crowd with ease as they clearly are used to these big waves of groups checking in at once. There wasn't too much to do around us the weekend we went, so we were super happy with the High Velocity Sports Bar, Lobby Lounge with live music & apps, Starbucks & Italian restaurant. Super convenient. Only amenity missing: a pool! We've never stayed at a hotel without a pool, so we didn't even think to check if they had one. The bartenders, servers & hotel staff were friendly with every interaction we had. We checked out the surrounding areas a lot, this hotel is located in the heart of a lot of daytime things to do, but the city in general lacks nightlife excitement. Highly recommend the scooters! They were conveniently located right outside the hotel doors & we had a blast! Our room was great! We had a cool view of Downtown Indianapolis, the restrooms were clean & the size, layout, amenities & decor were perfect for a modern city stay. The housekeepers did a thorough job with cleaning, but they are consistent with their times, they came in around 9:30am each day, so we had to skip because CA time it's only 6:30am. Lol. Note: our room didn't have a microwave, so be aware when taking your food in to-go boxes!

My negative experiences: -The clerk at check in by the name of Kailyn was much less than friendly. She was unhelpful, curt, and my perception of the interaction: I was a nuisance to her. -I arrive to room 2717 with luggage in tow. When I opened the door it had a heavy stench of cigarette smoke. I was spending 4 nights and in no way staying in that room. -after speaking with concierge service over the phone they immediately gave me another room on the same floor. They requested I go back down to check in and get the new keys. The same clerk "assisted" me. Once again she was unfriendly, did not ask why I was changing rooms, and did not offer an apology. All she said, "here are your keys." My positive experience outshined the negative and therefore the rating is 4 stars. -ALL the gentlemen in valet are so friendly, courteous, and helpful. -the house keeper that arrived to my first room profusely apologized for the cigarette stench. -the views to White River (odd number rooms) and the city views (even number rooms) are AMAZING from the 27th floor. -elevators are only operable by key card access only. I felt very safe. -the hotel is conveniently located to Lucas Oil stadium, Pacers stadium, and downtown attractions. With no traffic we arrived from Indy Airport to the Marriott in 15min. -Lastly, manager Ellie did a wonderful job at service recovery for the negative customer service experience and for the first rooms smell. I am super appreciative, Ellie was open to real time feedback.

Staff is always welcoming and willing to take the extra mile despite it being a busy weekend! Rooms are always clean, valet is quick!

This was my first time actually staying at the JW. I have been to the restaurants and Starbucks in the JW, which I recommend, but I never had an excuse to stay since I live about 25 minutes away. We were attending a friends NYE party and got a room at a great rate for a holiday night. We were on the 19th floor and had a great view of the white river, zoo and canal. The room was spacious and very clean. Beds were comfortable. The bellman, Christian, was super friendly and so were the front desk staff. I cannot speak to the parking situation because we parked in the garage where I work since it was free for me but based on the website, there is valet for $47/night. It would probably be worth finding a cheaper garage in walking distance. Highly recommend the JW if you're from out of town or if you want a play to stay for a staycation.

Was here the weekend of October 9th, 2022 for thr annual NAADAC Conference. Daleigh, Ivori, and Rico were amazing front desk and bellhop staff. Very kind, complimented my style twice! Rico and Daleigh's recommendations for entertainment were spot-on, while Ivori was an expert at communication and rapport building. Will definitely be coming back.

Greatest cookies known to man. Combination of being a business traveler and a platinum guest allowed for unlimited sugar. But the upside is I can say the gym is clean and not too crowded mid-day, evening, and night.

Quite enjoyed my stay at the JW Marriott. It's a very large hotel but staff and layout make it feel warm and cozy. I had a city-facing room on the 26th floor and absolutely loved the view. The hotel was beautiful and designed with a very modern aesthetic. The front desk was pleasant and able to accommodate my late check out as needed. My room was large and the bed was very comfortable (aka it would have been very easy to oversleep). Really couldn't muster any complaints if I tried. Highly recommend.

Looking for a nice and elegant place to stay, this is the place! The hotel is very nice and the service is outstanding! The views are amazing, we had a view to the Lucas Oil Stadium and Victory Field. The gentlemen in valet were super helpful and gave excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat. The hotel is located in a perfect spot. The zoo is walking distance and the mall is also a few blocks away. I truly enjoyed my stay, they made our visit special. The hotel has a Starbucks inside closes early so keep eye on the hours of operation. They offer an indoor pool with jacuzzi and a very nice gym. They also a full bar and restaurant with great drinks. Parking is valet $49 or self park for $44.
